See the evidence
The room is well appointed and highly functional.
Washing machine, microwave and fridge with freezer compartment in the room all very useful.

Location: What guests say

82 relevant reviews

North Point offers an authentic residential Hong Kong setting with abundant local eateries, markets, shops, 7/11 stores, trams, buses and North Point MTR roughly 3–6 minutes away. The waterfront promenade is 1–2 minutes away. It is not a tourist or late-night area: restaurants often close by 10:30pm, and taxi drop-offs with luggage can be difficult.

See the evidence
I loved the neighborhood (lively, authentic residential area with plenty of restaurants and shops around, close to MTR station, ferry pier to Kowloon and ding ding tram line, nice Kowloon skyline view nearby).
North Point MTR station is just 200m away and lots of local eateries in the area.
Access to the promenade is right next door simply cross and head to the water, 2 minutes tops.
You will not find any restaurant open after maybe 10:30PM, so eat dinner outside of the area.

Overall: What guests say

35 relevant reviews

Guests repeatedly praise the hotel’s exceptional cleanliness, modern design, friendly responsive staff, comfortable apartment-style rooms, kitchenettes and washer-dryers. North Point offers convenient MTR, tram and local eateries, though little nightlife. Recurring drawbacks include limited, overpriced breakfast, no on-site restaurant, hard beds, and occasionally high prices.

See the evidence
It was super clean, the entire place is clean and smells great, lobby, reception and hallway, very important as I almost didn't book due to previous bad reviews about cleanliness.
It was in a wonderful location with lots of local eateries and very close to the MTR and the tram.
It's more of an apartment than a hotel, but very comfortable, clean, and very well-equipped. With a washing machine and a kitchenette.
The breakfast buffet. Very little selection, old bread is too expensive.

Staff: What guests say

36 relevant reviews

Staff are overwhelmingly described as friendly, helpful, welcoming, attentive, and efficient, with notable assistance for luggage, adapters, housekeeping, and extra heaters. A few guests reported cold or passive-aggressive reception, low-touch service, late cleaning, missing supplies, and unmet room requests, but these are less frequent than positive feedback.

See the evidence
The staff were all very friendly and helpful
As a special service, we even received an additional heater in our room when we felt cold.
Staff were very helpful with keeping luggage before and after checkout.
The staff was quite rude (in a passive aggressive way).

Facilities: What guests say

23 relevant reviews

Facilities are generally well equipped, with a convenient washing machine, kitchenette, strong shower and bath water pressure, USB-A/USB-C outlets, water purifier and even luggage scales. Recurring drawbacks include an ineffective dryer and basic hairdryer, missing cutlery or dish soap, centrally controlled air-conditioning, and concern over the HK$2,000 incidental pre-authorisation.

See the evidence
Loved the facilities (washer dryer/kitchenette).
The bathroom was definitely the highlight - you would think more hotels designed their bathrooms like this with the bathtub and shower both being within the shower booth. Both the shower and bath had great water pressure.
The washing machine is convenient and it has dryer function build-in. Dryer is useless.
They could leave some dish soap and a sponge in the kitchenett, so I don't have to call housekeeping if I want a plate or bowl to be washed.

Breakfast: What guests say

15 relevant reviews

Breakfast is the main weakness: guests repeatedly describe limited, simple, or poor-quality choices, sometimes not warm, and expensive for the standard—one compared it with a three-star rather than five-star offering. A few found it tasty, decent, or amazing, with changing items, no crowds, and a bay view.

See the evidence
Breakfast very, very poor despite its very high price.
Everything was nice, just a breakfast was more like a 3 star, than 5 star.
Some of the included breakfast food was not very warm eg. soup.
Inexpensive breakfast, the view from the window is great, overlooking the bay
