The apartment with river view (our favourite Room 1227) was spotlessly clean with ample shelves, storage cabinets, and wardrobe.

The room is labeled as a family room but it's extremely small for the price and there's no room to move around.

First room smelled of smoke even though it’s a non smoking property.

He's in the wrong job - no guest paying for a stay in a hotel needs to tolerate rude backchat from staff.

The cleaners just rush to get through to other rooms. We tested them by placing items behind the pillows. They didn’t even move the pillows; they told us they were rubbish at cleaning. The floors were not hoovered. Bathrooms not cleaned, just rushing to get to the next room.

The hotel is near a bus stop and there is a convenience store right downstairs, and two MTR stations about an eight-ten minute walk away, but otherwise there isn't a ton in the immediate vicinity.

Although it is a bit further away from the centre, it is very close to the station and easily can get into town within half an hour.

Nearby cycling tracks along rivers were very enjoyable, and we reached the Heritage Museum and Che Kung Temple easily.

Loved the view towards the river though this wasn’t an option I had chosen while booking.

The overall hotel is not bad, there is a 7-Eleven downstairs, and there is an airport bus that can be taken at the entrance. It may take 5 to 8 minutes on foot to the nearest subway station, and it is a bit far from the city center.

The room service was done everyday and towels changed everyday. Furnitures were all new and everything works well in the room.

This so-called 5-star hotel is disappointing. Nothing about this place feels worthy of five stars—definitely not worth the price.

The hotel does not provide bottled water, but there is a machine on each floor where you can refill your water bottle, which is a very good arrangement.

There’s a self-service laundry at level 3 which was extremely useful albeit a little pricey.

The elevator so confusing us, difficult to use at the first few days! they need to tell every customer how to use on arrival.

Being a vegetarian I felt there was bare options when it came to food during breakfast.

I booked through Booking.com, breakfast included, however when I arrive for breakfast I was advised breakfast was not included and it was an additional $40 per person each day.

The bus stop from HK Airport goes directly to the property when you take the A41, making the trip from the airport a breeze.

Convenient 8-10 minute walk to the nearest MTR station (Shek Mun or City One).

The free hotel shuttle was also very useful (if we timed it correctly) to get you to the Shek Mun station or other listed locations.

I used the shuttle bus to Shimen Station nearby, but on the way back it was late and they refused to let me on! I took a taxi home.

Very nice swimming pool on the rooftop with a fantastic view over the city.

The swimming pool was basically good, not huge, but on the roof and relatively long, I estimate about 30 meters.

Pool is closed in rainy weather.

they didn't turn on the heated pool function and that's a disappointment; the whole time we stayed there, it's not hot Summer so we didn't actually use it much at all because it's not heated, heated pool is a part of the selling point / attraction (especially the night skylight view) to us.

Arrived at the hotel before 11 AM, and they were even able to arrange immediate access to the room.

The hotel requires a deposit of €240 without any warning. It has been almost two months since I returned to Belgium and I still haven't been reimbursed.

I tried to check in with my Macau ID and she refused and said this is Hong Kong.

This Hotel also has one of the best All You could eat buffet in HK, evening meal is a must as the food variety is top class.

The buffet and the restaurant price were way too expensive and not worth the price.

Mizutani Japanese restaurant is very outstanding, I was very impressed by its high quality food, comfortable environment and excellent service.

We didn’t like the fact that the bars and restaurants seemed to close so early - we feel as a resident of the hotel we should have been able to purchase a drink at the bar at least until 01.00 am.
