Wyndham Suites KLCC, Kuala Lumpur

The suite had a very bad smell from the washrooms I reported several times they cleaned but it did not help we couldn't even sleep peacefully with the horrible smell

We noticed several issues regarding the cleanliness and state of the room: stains on the sheets and furniture, marks on the toilets, as well as damaged tiles.

Having a washing machine with a dryer, a fully equipped kitchen, two bathrooms, a spacious living room, a comfortable bedroom, and even a second smaller room (which we conveniently used as a luggage room) made our stay incredibly comfortable.

After we found out that the second room is just a small suggestion without a window (not recommended for children over a height of 160 cm).

Perfect location, halfway between the Petronas Towers and Pavilion Mall.

Location was ok, close to Suria KLCC and Pavilion (10-15 min walk) but there was no direct convenience store in the area (closest 7eleven was ca 10 min away).

On your way back from KLCC the road is steep. So if you are with kids and infant you need to take the grab.

While the hotel is not located on the main street, it sits in a nice, quiet environment that is still very near to the mall.

What impressed us the most, however, was the exceptional kindness and helpfulness of every single staff member we met – from the reception team to the housekeeping staff.

The staff were generally not welcoming, and service was very slow as the few employees available seemed overwhelmed and exhausted.

She also did not inform us that cleaning was performed only upon request and that it could incur a charge.

The staff were unhelpful and they ignored our requests regarding amenities in the room even after we made the same request 3 days in a row.

The property itself, the beautiful and spacious apartments, the stunning rooftop sky bar, and the overall atmosphere were simply outstanding.

However, as the only negative point —but very bothersome on a personal level— I noticed a constant unpleasant smell in the room, probably due to a plumbing issue.

Misleading listing: the play areas aren’t included in the booking and are extortionately priced (about £15 per child and £10 per adult).

The breakfast buffet is seriously overpriced for what it offers: very limited selection, average quality, and exactly the same every day.

Breakfast is pretty useless — the breakfast area is too small for the size of the hotel, constantly overcrowded and terribly organized.

In terms of breakfast, poor hygiene, poor quality, no one refilling the food, all hot food was cold, the places were not cleaned properly, glasses also not clean.

The breakfast with a view over the city was great!

The facilities, especially for kids where the main attraction is Wynsnow, really enjoyed there.

Water key facilities, including the swimming pool, were closed for maintenance, which was very disappointing as the pool was one of the main reasons we booked this hotel.

the washer machine was a huge plus made great difference in my vacation cus i was able to do laundry and change my outfits specially after many islands hoping earlier before KL

The pool is nice, but there are only 8 sun loungers. Way too few, of course.

The highlight is the infinity pool: it is huge and has a beautiful panoramic view of the towers.

The swimming pool area was so full of children’s entertainment and kiddy music blaring out all day.

There were two loungers and nowhere else to sit and it was a little annoying that the whole areas basically geared for children and not adults.

They havent told us the swimming pool is under maintenance. I booked this hotel because of the pool, we only know when we complete checked in. Kids frustrated.

If you pay by credit card, the amount will only be released after up to 14 working days.

To charge the security deposit during checking in, they didn’t use the POS machine. Instead, they took the credit card and start storing all the data including the CVV into their application- which is totally against VISA and Mastercard regulations.

Long que of check out, when they have 3 counters yet only 2 operated.

The check-in process was easy and quick. We arrived at the hotel at 10 AM, and we were immediately checked in without any extra payments.

The kitchen closes at 9:30 PM and there aren't many options nearby for dinner, also considering that it rains quite a bit.

The dining options are limited to breakfast service; after that, half of the dishes and drinks offered on the menu are not available

We're been waiting for our food for 2 hrs. And in the end they will told us that is not available.

The food at the sky lounge restaurant could improve in quality and presentation, although the views are incredible.

The gym was very old and not clean, and it lacked adequate facilities.

Poorly equipped gym: both running machines didn’t work properly, no drinking water, no towels, no wiping tissues.

The gym equipments were in poor condition and not safe; particularly the thread belts were worn out and caused slipping, which could result in some major injuries to your guests.

The hotel pool and gym are also well kept with a great view of Petronas Towers.

It’s only a 3-minute walk to the metro through a passage next to the hotel, which doesn’t appear on Google Maps and makes the metro seem farther away than it actually is.

▪︎ There used to be a golf cart to transport guests from the hotel to the nearby street because the hotel is located on a bit of a hill and is difficult to walk to, but unfortunately, the golf cart is no longer available.

The buggy service which takes you up and down the hill ends at 10:30 pm would have been great if this was extended to 12am.

Airport taxi ( pre-paid at taxi kiosk ) - 122 MYR, around 1 hour drive, back - 94 MYR by Grab luxury service.

Parking is free for guests.

It is quite inconvenient that every time I need to go out, I must return to the lobby counter to validate the parking ticket for a waiver.

Lack of signage for west/east lift from basement visitor parking.

I parked at 8 PM, but when checking out, I was charged RM70-80.
