Contemporary Bayfront Design with Filipino Coastal Influences

A Philippine Flagship Built Around Smart Luxury
Introduced as the brand’s Philippine flagship, the hotel combines large-scale meetings, leisure facilities and contemporary design under a “smart luxury” concept. Its prominent position beside the bay-facing mall and convention complex gives it a modern waterfront resort-hotel identity rather than a traditional city-centre setting.
Coral Forms and Filipino Details
The architecture and interiors use a coastal, Filipino-inspired design language. Guest accommodations incorporate Filipino influences, while the infinity pool draws on the pristine coastal seas of the Philippines and uses a coral-inspired form as a defining visual element.
Event Spaces Designed for Scale
Public areas and event interiors are configured for major weddings, conferences and social functions. The ballroom floor and common spaces emphasise scale and polished contemporary presentation, supporting the hotel’s role within the convention, retail and entertainment district.
Bay-View Accommodation with Executive Lounge Privileges

A 347-Room Bayfront Inventory
The accommodation collection comprises 347 guest rooms and suites, with current room positioning confirming bay views across the inventory. The design includes Filipino-inspired cues, linking the private spaces to the hotel’s wider local and coastal concept.
Executive Rooms and Suites
Executive rooms and suites provide access to the Executive Lounge for qualifying guests. Lounge privileges include complimentary breakfast, all-day refreshments and evening cocktails, adding a separate service setting to higher-category accommodation.
A Manila Bay Dining Collection Led by China Blue

Signature Chinese Dining at China Blue
China Blue by Jereme Leung is the hotel’s signature Chinese restaurant and the most distinctive named restaurant in its dining programme. It sits alongside the property’s broader mix of all-day dining, lounge, coffee and poolside venues.
All-Day Dining at Brasserie on 3
Brasserie on 3 is the all-day dining restaurant, serving a breakfast buffet as well as à la carte lunch and dinner. Its format provides the main full-service dining option across the day.
Lounges, Coffee and Poolside Drinks
C Lounge functions as the social lounge and cocktail venue, Bru Coffee Bar provides the coffee service, and Sails Pool Bar serves beverages beside the outdoor pool. In-room dining is prepared by the culinary team led by Executive Chef Thomas Jakobi.
Coral-Shaped Water, Bay Views and Poolside Service

Third-Level Infinity Pool
The main outdoor pool occupies the hotel’s third level and uses a coral-inspired shape with a view-oriented design suited to the Manila Bay setting. It is open year-round and is furnished with sun loungers, umbrellas and pool towels.
Distinct Water Areas for Children and Adults
A separate children’s pool complements the main pool, with listings also identifying distinct children’s and adult sections. The arrangement creates differentiated water areas within the hotel’s outdoor leisure offering.
Sails Pool Bar
Sails Pool Bar serves beverages directly beside the outdoor pool, pairing poolside service with the hotel’s bay-facing leisure setting.
Conrad Spa Treatments and 24-Hour Fitness

A Six-Room Treatment Spa
Conrad Spa has six treatment rooms, including four single rooms and two couples’ rooms. Treatments use locally inspired and organic ingredients and include massages, facials, body rituals, Swedish massage, detox wraps and aromatherapy.
Couples’ Rooms with Private Thermal Features
The two couples’ treatment rooms include deep-soaking tubs, private steam facilities and saunas, providing a dedicated setting for shared spa treatments and post-treatment relaxation.
Extensive Meeting and Event Facilities
The hotel has six elegant, multifunctional event rooms, including the Forbes Ballroom, Taft Ballroom, Harrison, Murphy, Roosevelt, a Boardroom and the outdoor Artpark. Event spaces use state-of-the-art audiovisual technology and support business meetings, weddings and social functions.
Inside the Mall of Asia’s Bayfront Convention and Entertainment District

Directly Connected to SMX Convention Center
The hotel sits in Pasay’s Mall of Asia Complex, immediately beside Manila Bay and directly connected by pathways to the SMX Convention Center, listed at approximately 100 metres away. The setting is defined by convention infrastructure, retail and bayfront leisure.
Walkable Mall and Arena Access
SM Mall of Asia and the Mall of Asia Arena are each listed at roughly 300 metres from the hotel. Independent travel timings place the convention centre about four minutes away on foot, the arena seven minutes away and SM Mall of Asia approximately 0.8 miles away.
Entertainment City and Bayfront Activities
The surrounding area forms part of the wider Entertainment City and bayfront leisure zone, with large-format shopping, arena events, convention activity, bay-adjacent entertainment, dining and nearby gaming and resort properties. World Trade Center Manila is listed at approximately 1.9 miles away.

Staff: What guests say
583 relevant reviewsStaff are repeatedly described as exceptionally warm, attentive, professional, and proactive across reception, dining, housekeeping, the pool, and security; guests say their service makes stays and celebrations memorable. Reviewers praise personalized birthday and anniversary surprises, smooth check-ins, and practical help. One guest reports a condescending receptionist and management’s failure to follow up.
See the evidence
You can see how well trained everyone is from the security, check in staff, restaurant staff, literally everyone. They all seem to know exactly what to do and say. The hotel runs like a well oiled machine.
From the moment I arrived, JR at the front desk welcomed me warmly and listened attentively to my situation, which ultimately led to a beautiful room being made available even though we needed an early check-in.
They surprised us with a complimentary anniversary cake, beautiful towel decor, and their signature stuffed toy
The receptionist treated us with a condescending attitude, making us feel belittled because our stay was sponsored. When we brought these serious service lapses to management's attention, they promised to investigate and get back to us. We received zero feedback or follow-up.See all reviews about staff
Overall: What guests say
333 relevant reviewsGuests repeatedly praise Conrad Manila’s warm, attentive service, clean and well-maintained property, comfortable spacious rooms, and beautiful bay views. Its location is described as unbeatable, and the Executive Lounge is singled out as outstanding. Many say they would return; one reviewer notes the hotel is premium-priced, while another recommends booking lounge-access rooms as worth the cost.
See the evidence
As a Hilton Lifetime Diamond member who has stayed at countless hotels in most parts of the world, my husband and I consider this to be one of the very best properties which we've ever visited.
The property was clean, the room was spacious, the views were nice, the staff are warm and the service is excellent!!!! Will definitely return again 100%!!
The Executive Lounge is outstanding.
It is a premium price for a premium hotel so some special offers would be welcome once in a while.See all reviews about overall
Rooms: What guests say
386 relevant reviewsRooms are frequently praised as spacious, clean, comfortable, and well equipped, with panoramic Manila Bay views and large bathrooms especially memorable in suites. Some rooms and furnishings feel dated or worn; reported issues include musty or bathroom odors, mold, dirty windows, noisy construction, and occasional faulty fixtures or appliances. Housekeeping and room upgrades often receive praise.
See the evidence
The Diplomatic Suite with its panoramic bay views took this stay to an entirely new, exceptional level
The rooms were bright and spacious, with multiple USB points beside the bed, a coffee machine, Dammann Freres tea, and a deluxe shower with Byredo products.
Cleanliness was top notch, but the furnishings had seen better days. Nothing majorly wrong, but things like the drinks cabinet door drooping slightly, a faucet being a bit loose in one of the basins, the flooring having some marks gave me a slightly worn impression.
Our room was beautiful but has a musty or moldy smell.See all reviews about rooms
Location: What guests say
348 relevant reviewsDirect access to SM Mall of Asia and S Maison is the standout, with shops, restaurants, the arena, and SMX within easy reach; Manila Bay sunsets and the promenade add appeal. The hotel is roughly 15–30 minutes from the airport, though traffic can make trips much longer, and it is far from central Manila. Bay views may be affected by major reclamation and construction, with some guests reporting noise.
See the evidence
One of the best parts was the location — it is conveniently within walking distance and directly connected to the SM Mall of Asia, which made shopping, dining, and exploring so easy and enjoyable.
Located right on the Bay, adjoined to the SM Mall of Asia and just 20-30 minutes from the airport.
Then add the incessant hammering noise, the fact it’s an hour to the city away (through Manilas famous gridlocked traffic), and the view not reflecting the photos provided in the ad… there’s a huge artificial island being constructed right in front of the hotel.
The bridge makes it easy to explore the surrounding area while still enjoying a peaceful and quiet atmosphere inside the hotel.See all reviews about location
Breakfast: What guests say
224 relevant reviewsBreakfast is often praised for its extensive, varied buffet, good quality, and delicious food, including Filipino dishes, international options, fresh bread, and healthy choices. Some guests found it expensive or wanted more variety; others reported long waits, poor food replenishment, or disappointing service. Children’s breakfast charges also caused confusion for some guests.
See the evidence
We opted for the buffet breakfast every day and its probably the best breakfast buffet in the Philippines - there were all kinds of international cuisine to choose from and the fresh bread was a highlight for me.
There’s everything you could imagine with lots of Filipino dishes I hadn’t tried before.
When I requested nicely that most viand dishes were almost empty, I was told by the Female manager that they were in the process of replenishing it. Example, adobo qas all pototes, vegetables in the other area were gone. It took quite a while.
Had paid for a breakfast inclusive package and was then told that breakfast doesn’t include kids and one has to pay extra.See all reviews about breakfast
Facilities: What guests say
128 relevant reviewsGuests frequently praise the well-maintained facilities, clean rooms, 24/7 gym, pool, and executive lounge, especially its evening food and drinks and C Lounge’s Manila Bay views. The direct mall connection is convenient. Some find the pool small or underwhelming; others report aging equipment, maintenance issues, confusing lobby and elevator access, and no Wi-Fi on the C Lounge terrace.
See the evidence
The lounge itself was excellent with sweeping views, serving decent food as well as soft drinks and refreshments until late.
The swimming pool is nice though I think it is a bit small compared to the number of guests that hotel can accommodate.
It’s located on the mezzanine (between the 3rd and 4th floors), but can only be accessed via certain elevators or by going through the pool area, which was not well explained or labeled.
It is honestly surprising that a luxury hotel such as Conrad Manila has no Wi-Fi coverage on the C Lounge terrace.See all reviews about facilities
Restaurant: What guests say
105 relevant reviewsDining is often praised for delicious food, attentive hospitality, and memorable service, especially at C Lounge and China Blue; C Lounge also offers Manila Bay views and afternoon tea. Breakfast and brunch receive positive reviews, but dinner is less consistent: some buffet dishes were lukewarm, and guests found breakfast selection limited and repetitive for a five-star hotel.
See the evidence
The food was consistently delicious, beautifully presented, and thoughtfully prepared. We especially appreciated the variety of menu offerings, with different and enjoyable selections available every day. The daily-changing menu kept each visit exciting and was one of the highlights of our stay.
Beautiful decor, amazing service and excellent food made it a memorable experience.
While breakfast was excellent, the Mediterranean dinner buffet didn’t live up to expectations, with several dishes only lukewarm and not reflective of the price point.
Selections were quite few compared to other 5-star hotels we tried. The food was good but due to limited selections, there not much to choose from. They repeated the longganisa on both mornings and most choices are the same.See all reviews about restaurant
Check-in / Check-out: What guests say
96 relevant reviewsMany guests describe check-in and checkout as smooth, swift, and welcoming, with Executive Lounge check-ins, attentive staff, and occasional early-room access standing out. Experiences were inconsistent: some faced long check-in or checkout waits, rooms not ready or luggage delayed, and late checkout declined. One guest reported an unreturned security deposit and unanswered follow-ups.
See the evidence
Check-in and out smooth and swift.
We were immediately taken to Executive Level for our check in.
While the process went smoothly, we had to wait an additional 30 minutes past the check-in time for our room to be ready.
However when i checked out of the hotel, I was never returned my security deposit through my credit card. It's been a month. I've tried emailing every available Conrad affiliated email I know of but nobody seems to respond.See all reviews about check-in / check-out
Pool: What guests say
71 relevant reviewsGuests often describe the pool as large, clean, beautiful, and relaxing, with loungers and attentive pool-bar staff; cocktails also get praise. Recurring drawbacks include cold, unheated water and, at times, crowded conditions. Some guests felt overlooked by courtyard-facing rooms, waited nearly an hour for pool food, or found the pool closed during rain.
See the evidence
Had a great time at the pool which was spacious with many loungers.
Very crowded pool area with many kids & no availability at the bar (make sure to make a reservation for sunset drinks)
The pool is nice and large, but because of the nearby 'rooms facing the courtyard', you feel like you're on display.
Food service at the pool area was also slow - we waited almost an hour for an order of fries.See all reviews about pool
Spa: What guests say
21 relevant reviewsGuests frequently praise the spa’s beautiful, clean facilities, relaxing atmosphere, and excellent massages, with therapists described as professional and attentive. However, treatments can be expensive and popular enough to require advance booking; some guests encountered unavailable or malfunctioning sauna and steam-room facilities, and one reported finding a cockroach, which management addressed with compensation.
See the evidence
Hands down the largest, cleanest, and most stunningly aesthetic spa I have ever experienced
She took the time to work trouble areas, not just do a routine massage.
You can go nearby for a massage for 600 PHP, or at the Mall of Asia for about 1000-1300, why does it have to cost 5-6000 or more in the hotel?
When we got there, they brought us to the couples room and said the steam room was not working.See all reviews about spa
Gym: What guests say
23 relevant reviewsGuests most often praise the gym as clean, well-equipped, spacious, and among the best hotel gyms they have used; some note it is basic or could use updated equipment and better lighting. The 24-hour access, pool views, sauna, and steam room are appreciated. Reported drawbacks include confusing signage and malfunctioning lockers; gym towels cannot be taken to guest rooms.
See the evidence
The gym is by far the best hotel gym I have ever worked out in.
It’s clean, spacious, and offers a beautiful view of the pool.
The gym lockers frequently malfunctioned—I experienced this myself and noticed others having the same issue.
The gym is beautiful, but finding it was unnecessarily difficult. Signage is unclear—we walked around multiple times.See all reviews about gym
Transport: What guests say
18 relevant reviewsAirport transfers are often described as smooth, efficient, and professional, with clear pick-up arrangements and a short trip of about 20 minutes; one guest reported confusion over a confirmed limo time, and another said the driver did not call on arrival. The car service and MOA connection are convenient, though access to MOA can be difficult with a stroller or for seniors; wheelchairs can be borrowed with valid ID.
See the evidence
Airport pickup service was smooth and without challenges.
She was picked up, brought to the hotel, and escorted all the way to her door by the hotel staff.
On my departure they seems confused on limo transfer which I have booked and confirmed at 2pm. When i reach the lobby I was told the limo is at 230pm.
Access was quite a challenge to and from MOA/ S'Maison.See all reviews about transport
Parking: What guests say
11 relevant reviewsParking is frequently full and shared with the mall, so guests may face long queues, difficulty finding a space, or have to park elsewhere and move their car later. Valet may also be unavailable during busy periods, and one guest reported paying an overnight fee without ticket validation.
See the evidence
My husband took almost an hour waiting for a slot. Even valet is full already.
My last night there was no parking in Conrad and S'Maison and I had to park somewhere else and then transfer my car at 3 am (hotel parking is shared with the mall and at the time there was an international convention in SMX as well).
If you arrive during mall hours, expect a queue around the corner of the hotel/mall as they try to manage the number of vehicles parking for the mall and for the hotel.
The front desk didn't offer to validate my parking ticket.See all reviews about parking
