        My studio room on Level 12 was clean, appealing, and well equipped with a complimentary minibar, coffee, and a direct drinking water tap — a rare feature in most hotels.
        The carpet in the hallway and in the rooms smells unpleasant and is not clean.
        The AC/water dripping from the ceiling. It started and stopped then it started again. It was not a nice experience as it disturbed my sleep at wee hours and made the carpet wet.
        The bathroom was nice and big with a built in water dispenser for filtered drinking water, which was a nice touch.

        Despite paying for breakfast for the period of stay, I did not eat there because the crowd is huge and the queue is just too long.
        used the main restaurant for breakfast, which was great, buffet style , plenty of options to choose from, Chinese, Malaysian, Japanese, and western.
        Breakfast was very satisfying, featuring signature local Ipoh dishes such as "mee tikus" and mee curry, along with vegetarian and Western breakfast options.
        Breakfast options could be better ie more fruits, more pastries, cakes and other hot food options - not up to a 5 star standard.

        We took our luggage up to the top floor ( no offer of assistance) and found that someone was already in the room.
        The house keeping is unprofessional. Didn’t do up the bed and change the towels but inform front desk they have done it.
        Ms Arrini at reception ensured a smooth check-in and provided clear explanations.
        Though the team were friendly no one offered to help with bags service was below what we expected but still friendly just a lack of polish in customer service.

        We arrived past 3pm and rooms were not ready. Same thing for my sister who also booked 2 rooms.
        the reception or the check in counter; they are so slow.....I booked 3 rooms; there was no other customer at the counter; He passed to her; the she passed to another him.....the process took 15 min
        They misplaced documents and their system did not seem to have the records as well - paid deposit during check-in, but they could not trace proof of payment made.
        We only knew about it when we arrived.

        It’s located on the 4th floor of Ipoh Parade, and at peak times, it’s nearly impossible to reach because cars line up along the winding path leading to the 4th floor.
        The hotel gives free parking to guests which is fantastic, but once the Concierge at the lobby issues the free exit pass, you need to leave the carpark within 15 minutes.
        My parking ticket is show unreadable ticket in the exit point and it happen twice during my stay time. The assist button on the ticket machine is totally not function. I have to reverse my car and back to reception to request the ticket again. It make me late for my appointment.
        we parked at P5 but i dont recommend a spacious car to park this area because the exit to steep!

        The Cantonese restaurant served very good dishes and their smoked duck with lychee was superb!
        Also dined at the rooftop top bar overlooking ipoh, great food and drinks and spectacular views of ipoh at night.
        After 40 minutes we had to complain. Eventually the food came and the veg was uncooked.
        only downside is hotel Chinese restaurant said they stopped serving dim sum 6 years ago, but this is still advertised as available.

        It is actually a meeting room converted by putting a few workout benches and machines.
        the only letdown I would say is the gym which has cardio equipment and some free weights, but no machines for workouts
        The air conditioning is blowing very cold air and the room is extremely cold.
        I enjoyed the gym's view especially from the treadmill as it is overseeing the Titiwangsa Range.

        Going anywhere from the hotel was a breeze as Grab taxis were always available, arrived swiftly, and were reasonably priced.
        They don’t offer transportation which was very weird for a 5* hotel but we had grab so it was ok!
        accessibility; the hotel is interconnected to ipoh parade. parking within ipoh parade and its FREE.
        Later when I reached the hotel they said they never got the request from booking.com. When I showed them the message they said its not from them.
