    The hotel strikes the perfect balance between classic Thai elegance and modern comfort, creating a peaceful oasis in the heart of bustling Bangkok.
    One of our favourite features was the beautiful indoor tropical koi pond, which brings nature and natural light into the heart of the hotel.
    The hotel has undergone major renovations (almost finished) and the rooms and bathrooms are lovely now.
    Although I was informed the work would conclude by late February, the excessive noise and dust significantly disrupted our stay.

    Every interaction was warm, attentive and professional, and that consistency of service is one of Anantara Siam's greatest strengths.
    The staff were incredibly warm, welcoming, and always ready to help with a genuine smile.
    She especially helped in translating thai to English when my daughter needed help!
    Elle also kindly helped arrange a late check-out for us, which we really appreciated as it allowed us to enjoy our final day without rushing.

    The thoughtful layout, quality finishes, luxurious bedding and linen, excellent lighting and beautiful open views all contributed to an exceptionally relaxing stay.
    We were put in a room with hammer drills going on while we were trying to sleep and then moved to another room only to be woken by someone vacuuming in the corridor at midnight.
    There were flies and mosquitoes inside the room on both days and our sleep was affected on the first day. There was a spider in the room on our third day- what if the spider was venomous and had bitten us? Our air-condition malfunctioned during the 2nd day as well.

    The hotel's location is also excellent, just a two-minute walk from the BTS station while remaining wonderfully peaceful.
    Location is easily walkable to several major malls like Central World, Central Embassy, Chid Lom and Siam Paragon.
    This hotel is truly an oasis in the centre of busy and noisy Capital Bangkok.
    To make matters worse, the hotel failed to disclose that the pool would be closed during our stay, and that renovations would cause significant noise.

    Each morning, breakfast was a real pleasure: one dining room with Thai-inspired accents and another offering a continental breakfast — both absolutely delightful.
    I'm kind of disappointed with their breakfast. It's not that it isn't good, but the selections are limited and almost the same throughout our five days of stay.
    I felt that service during breakfast was quite bad, I requested coffee, but only after asking for 2nd time, they brought coffee, and I was already finishing my meal, it happened two days in a row.

    Climb fire escape stairs to get to lifts, walk through paint, dust and smells avoiding the tradesmen.

    The check-in was fast, and our room was waiting for us.
    It took 2 hours!
    We arrived at the hotel at 12pm and were promised to get the room at 2pm. The room was ready by 3pm, and the receptionist saw us sitting at the lobby, but she did not bothered to inform us.
    When we first checked in the staff were super rude initially we checked in pretty late but they kept us waiting for so long and told us to wait on the side.

    The pool staff were attentive, found us loungers, laid out our towels and provided ice water constantly.
    The pool was under renovation, so there is noise and if you want a pool, you have to go to the hotel next door.
    We were there when the pool was closed for renovations, staff kindly arranged us to use the Regis pool next door, but practically this was not very convenient as you had to be dressed and walk there, and then change before and after in the Regis toilets at pool.

    The spa was pricey, and the massage didn't meet my expectations, but it was clean and convenient, so I still recommend it.

    I had seen that renovation had been ongoing at the pool and gym and must say it all looks super - that said not sure who made the decision to change this to an exclusive club - not sure how guests fair but 250 k THB for an annual membership ? I just don’t see it - good for those that can afford it (wish I could)
    There is also the best gym facilities I have ever had in a hotel.
    Great equipment and even a squash court.
    The gym and pool facilities were old fashioned and neglected for that level
