Guests often praise this modern, clean hotel for its spacious rooms and lobby, peaceful atmosphere, friendly staff, and enjoyable breakfast. Value opinions are mixed, with some finding it expensive and calling for better housekeeping, breakfast, or service. One family reported a planned 6.5-hour power and air-conditioning outage that disrupted their only full day.

I dont mind to pay the amount for MARRIOT brand but i hope to get the classy feel as i got from other brand like SHANGARILA , ST GILES or DOUBLE TREE
Is a big hotel chain - and feels like it. It can't really help that, and I didn't expect it to be any different, but does not feel personal at all.
We stayed at Courtyard Marriott Melaka for 4 days 3 nights. It is a new hotel in Melaka and my family decided to give it a try for our recent stay.

This inconvenienced us tremendously because then it meant our kids had to nap in our car and not the 5 star hotel that we paid for.
Either way we were not happy after paying 400++ for a night & having such bad experience for a new built hotel (supposedly with high standards)
While we understand that the hotel is new and there is a lack of manpower, we felt that the communication between the staff was very lacking.

The management needs to seriously look into this lapse of hygiene practice to upkeep the chain's name.
Would definately book courtyard marriot again if I go melacca! Great place with economical price!
The whole hotel was very quiet and lack some kind of tourism buzz.

Fall in love since we had our first stay few months back.
Expensive and at best a 3 star experience, not 5 star
Our stay at Courtyard is as expected and enjoyable one.

Will always be a go to hotel when in Melaka!
Excellent hotel - certainly worth being on your Malacca list
Amazing! Enjoyed every minute whilst staying at the Courtyard.

One of the newest and comfortable hotel in Malacca.
Besides that, all was very good in my stay.
My family and I lovin it staying there.

Overall was okay for a night of rest.
Marriott needs to keep up to its brand!
Good hotel with reliable quality standards and amenities

Hopefully, we can go holidays here again.
Accommodation was new, clean and well serviced.
Everything you'd expected off Marriott chains.

What an amazing stay. Highly recommended.
Amongst the best hotels in Melaka
EV charger available in property.

Good property ... great location.
The hotel is very new.
Definitely i will come back

Rooms: What guests say
View Courtyard by Marriott Melaka210 relevant reviews
Guests often describe rooms as clean, spacious, modern, and comfortable, with comfortable beds, good air conditioning, and some attractive city views. Recurring concerns include inconsistent housekeeping, aging or poorly maintained rooms, plumbing and bathroom problems such as noisy pipes, weak flushing, slow-draining sinks, and flooding, plus limited TV channels. Some guests also noted missing amenities and noisy neighbors.

In addition, the toilet configuration is quite bad. By the time we finished showering, half of the toilet floor will be ponded with water. The bath tub is too high and it even difficult for me to get up and down let alone a child or elderly. No matter how you shower, water will flow out via the sides of the tub and out of the glass door, which is quite useless. The hotel should just get rid of bathtub and install a shower area will do. In addition, a small step should be included in the bathroom for kids. It’s impossible for my child to use the tap.
One issue is the bath tub shower area. There is a design flaw. During showering in the bath tub, the area around the bathtub will start to pond. The base of the glass screen should be at the same level as the rim of the bath tub. But the base of the glass screen is lower than the rim of the bath tub. So the space between the bath tub and the glass screen will start to pond.
The bathtub is incovenient and also no steps for elderly to climb in to shower as well and there is no standalone shower stand. Furthermore, the toilet flooring get wet despite the shower screen was closed during shower. Then towel hanging hook is outside the shower bath tub and blocked by the shower screen making it inconvenient to grab towels after shower.

Almost an hour later, there were kids stomping non stop on the room above & I kid not, the noises was piercing through the ceiling so hard as if like we were staying in a budget or really poor condition hotel, like wtf???
The layout of the room and the amenities are standard which we didn’t feel like it’s worth the price. And the ventilation in the room isn’t good, aircon is quite warm.
I booked 3 rooms of which one room had the bathtub shower which was poorly design, very high and dangerous for both kids and adults.

The sound proof was bad, we could literally hear the occupants above us walk around the room and noises coming from neighbors too.
It was great that we could choose our preferred pillow type and the water pressure in the bathroom was good.
We had requested a high floor in our booking, and... a room on the 27th floor for us.

Using the ‘tropical rain’ shower head makes a huge bang when you switch from small shower head.
Poor selection of tv channels. Only limited to local and some astro channels. (Around 10 channels).
Certain channels for Netflix weren't working so my kid couldn't get to enjoy the channels.

Sufficient space on the toilet sink counter top, easy to place our toiletry stuff.
The hotel mention that they provide double beds, but it were actually super single.
Room are clean and comfortable and the staff are very friendly and helpful

We book for city view facing but this room is facing a building.
King size bed with sofa can use as extra bed for 3rd person.
Pillows are a bit on the softer side so affected quality of sleep.

The sink no functioning ..water retain in the sink.need time to drain.
The room is big, comes with 2 double bed.. it’s very comfortable
Half of the bathroom was wet despite the shower screen installed.

There were stains all over the toilet seat and “clean”shower towels.
There are no bathrobes & shower caps in the room
We have to close the curtain all day from privacy.

The room felt extra comfortable with its high ceilings.
The connecting rooms were great for my of 5.
AC was fantastic which gave us good rest.

Such as providing bath robes in the room,
All in all, it was a good stay.
Hotel room hygiene need to be concern.

Staff: What guests say
View Courtyard by Marriott Melaka198 relevant reviews
Guests repeatedly praised the staff across reception, housekeeping, security, dining, and concierge for being friendly, welcoming, professional, and helpful. Notable examples include arranging connecting rooms, making a birthday special, and safely returning a lost item. A few reviews mentioned slow service, and one reported promised follow-up that never came.

Requested for birthday decoration but was informed that additional charges will be incurred. In the end, we agreed with the additional charges as we wanted a surprise for the birthday boy. As informed by the staff, the slice of cake and a swan decoration made using towels weren't prepared when the birthday boy went up the room. Also requested for a bucket of ice which was never delivered despite following up with the housekeeping ample times. Am rather disappointed with the service.
I think the staff need a lot more training I understand this hotel only recently opened and maybe they haven’t finished training yet but more senior management need to be visible around the hotel Particularly in reception and in restaurant. All staff were nice and pleasant nobody was rude it’s just that they didn’t seem to know answers to questions or they didn’t understand the systems the were operating
However, we were terribly alarmed and learned by accident that their room attendants were not changing or cleaning up the room cups and cutleries using the dishwasher detergents, and they were wiping the water-rinsed cups and cutleries using an used towel that had been used for the past how many rooms that they were cleaning.

The front office staff checking us took such a long time, peering at the computer. He wanted to know the source of pur booking etc although the booking was already paid for. He didn't tell.us where the lifts were so we were running around here and there, dragging our luggage, looking for the lifts.
They said it was due to the hotel reaching full capacity the previous evening and they haven’t had time to clean the room we’ve been allocated to. Reception said they would ring us but never did, so we had to go back to the reception ourselves 2 hours later.
We complaint to the front desk, but they said double bed mean 2 super single beds in their hotel. We told the PIC that this really mislead the customers and we can lodge report to authorities, he replied us that we can go ahead, which really disappointed.

We checked & requested for a late check out, the staff was kind enough to let us do so but one of the staff rang our room around 12 something telling my partner that it was passed the normal checking time but we have yet to checkout.
A bit of a letdown this time, as my stay was being extended by 2 additional days and during check-in, the staff assured me the system will handle it
I would like to extend my compliments to Ms. Natasha and her team for their outstanding efforts in ensuring everything went smoothly throughout our stay.

Very excellent staff especially front desk and concierge, to many to mention names but kudos and keep up the excellent customer service!
Your staff was so friendly and courteous, shout out especially Sabre and Jeffery and the staff who check us in.
We requested an ice bucket and fork and knife from housekeeping, but nobody never sent them to us.

Everywhere i walk in the hotel, staffs are polite and put on their bright smile.
The staff were exceptionally friendly and polite, accommodating my request for a connecting room.
The front office staff should have known about this and not allocated the room.

The staff have always been incredible - and this stay was no different.
The staff were friendly and attentive which made our stay much more pleasant!
The check in lady was lovely but others felt more serious vibe.

Staffs are friendly and warm welcoming once you step into the premise.
The works with enthusiasm with a feeling of ownership of the property.
And went to lobby to ask staff to clear my vehicle.

And friendly front desk. The security guards greeted us as well.
Especially the staff that works at the swimming pool floor.
I would expect cleaning to be done in the morning.

Kudos to the management for training the staff well.
The font desk service was not meet my expectation.
Staff were friendly and professional and really exemplary.

Nothing is too much for them to help.
I like the location and the staff.
The staff there are helpful and friendly.

Breakfast: What guests say
View Courtyard by Marriott Melaka118 relevant reviews
Breakfast receives mixed reviews: many guests praise the wide, tasty selection, especially local dishes such as nasi lemak, while others find the spread limited, repetitive, or only average. Recurring complaints include cold food, long egg-station queues, crowded seating and slow table clearing; some also report weak coffee, processed juices, and unappealing salad presentation.

Breakfast sitting has to be improved. There was no one to show to the table, and the system showed that the table was taken. Although there is free sitting, it is preferable to have personnel guide you to your seat put something on the table to indicate that it has been taken. Many times, when we were given a table and went to fetch dinner, we returned to find the table occupied by another hotel guest.
The taste of food seems bit lacking (still acceptable though) as to what we remembered when our first visit of stay... our baseline of taste was the serving teh tarik and the taste of nasi lemak's sambal and fried rice.
As a result, the hotel offered us complimentary breakfast vouchers for the two of us, but changed their mind later saying it was only for ONE of us even though there was two of us.

We just have to wait or find another options of serving food.. which still ok since they served quite variety of food that cater to different audience and taste.
Yes, breakfast was also quite good, my son generally is not eating a lot for breakfast, however he ate a lot in this breakfast, means so enjoyable for him!
As for breakfast, I categorize hotels into those that provide fresh juices and coffee from coffee machines and those that provide commercially processed juice drinks and instant coffee.

The salad section, especially presentation and arrangement need to look into but the sauces all good well presented & Indian cuisine section to provide more choices.
The breakfast was excellent. We stayed 7 nights and had breakfast every morning. There was enough variety that it did not get boring or repetitive.
We also tried the buffet breakfast and it did not disappoint. There was a a great variety of food and the food was delicious!

On the one hand, it was extremely cold and drafty in the restaurant during breakfast (the air conditioning was set very ambitiously).
More warm drinks, such as soya milk, for seniors, for the breakfast buffet; including the porridge which was not hot at all.
There are like 4 flavours of mini muffins, 3-4 kinds of danish and 5 types of bread just to cite an example.

To remove all items (including uneaten food) and clean your table once no one was seen sitting at the table.
Breakfast was fantastic, many choices and the buffet dinner was out of this world, with so much choice.
Breakfast was excellent. Would be better if there could be indication that a table was occupied.

Especially if have on the spot making roti canai that would be great idea.
Breakfast buffet is acceptable , many room to improve, lack of local delight.
No one clean up the table and the staffs not well train.

I did not get the chance to try their breakfast 🥲
However the salad section to be improvise with neatly arranged.
Every morning they prepared something specially and only for her.

- breakfast not enough sitting and additional charge for kids
We informed the stuff, at breakfast, the first morning.
All meals served during breakfast were all so tast

Also enjoyed the breakfast with a wide selection.
Breakfast selection was not value for money.
Dim sum options were very limited.

Put more variety on breakfasts menu..
The breakfast spread was good.
Food is good for breakfast

Location: What guests say
View Courtyard by Marriott Melaka110 relevant reviews
Location is frequently described as quiet and convenient, with Jonker Street and other attractions typically a short drive or Grab ride away; some guests report a 10–20-minute walk. Others find it too far from the center, with few nearby restaurants, shops, or convenience stores, making a car or ride-hailing useful. Walking routes along busy roads may feel unsafe for families.

There is no footpath between the hotel and main road so you walk across some kind of empty paved yard, then it is difficult to cross the main road once you reach it, there is no traffic light to help with crossing.
The hotel is just a little outside town, but mixing walking with taking Grab taxis (which are super cheap) made this relatively easy to manage. On a positive note, being on the periphery meant less city noise and traffic.
Music in the bar is good, but the noice level is too too loud, if lower the sound level, it is a good place to relax and chit chat.

I asked the reception about smoking area was told this is a no smoking hotel you have to smoke across the street in the road ok fair enough
It would have been amazing if it was located at the heart of city centre though it is about 10 mins drive only from city centre.
Location was a bit of a walk to the main area, so not smack in the middle of everything, but it was an easy walk.

I had thought this would be out of the way but was pleasantly surprised at how connected it was to the main roads in Melaka
The location is not the best. It is relatively far from the tourist places, so you might need to have either a good walk
A bit of walking to major attractions. But this seems an inevitable trade-off for a more pleasant and quiet location in the city.

A short grab or drive away from the tourist spots, but far enough away to get away from the noise as well.
Going to places of interest was easy and inexpensive as we used Grab or walked to the nearby shops for local breakfast.
Location, a bit far from famous Malacca tourists spots. Takes about 5 to 10 mins drive to jonker depending on traffic.

Maybe the only thing is a bit away from the main streets. No convenient stores to grab like snacks, etc.
Loud construction drilling sound on the 2nd and third day - around noon. Just for about 10 minutes each time.
Location is a little out of the way but it is only a RM8 Grab ride into Melaka central.

Location pretty strategic, as we grow older we prefer not to a place in middle of the town.
Hotel location is slightly far from restaurant outlets, and is about 10 mins walk, not too bad.
The hotel is located strategically as it's just a stone's throw away from major attractions in Melaka.

While the location is not right in the center its only a 15 minute walk
It is calm and tranquil- until the Chinese arrive and then it's a din
And it it is easy to get to many places in the town.

A bit far to walk to the centre along busy roads
The location as it isn’t near to the main shopping area.
But if driving it’s about 6-7mins to jonker street area

Short walk to centre, the river walk was beautiful.
And the view is stunning with melacca city view..
Walking distance to a small local food court.

You cannot find restaurants, malls, and shops.
Location, quite away from major attractions.
Good location and huge room!

Facilities: What guests say
View Courtyard by Marriott Melaka78 relevant reviews
Guests frequently describe the hotel as new, clean, and well maintained, with a notably spacious, impressive lobby and good facilities; the pool and gym are also praised. Recurring drawbacks include bathroom plumbing problems, including weak shower pressure and water splashing onto the floor, and reports of unpleasant smells. Some guests also note limited services and amenities.

Water bottles were provided, though they were disposable ones. I would highly suggest to provide reusable bottles, but I can understand the hotel's concern if people were to steal them. 😅
The facilities especially at level where pool and gymnasium located were so spacious and comfortable for us to rest for a while and enjoy the scenery at the same time.
Notably, the security guard employed during the night shift diligently verified the identities of individuals visiting the hotel during early hours, ensuring that only hotel guests were allowed access.

The property is new and while I didn’t get a chance to use all facilities the lobby and all other common areas are very new and spacious
The bathroom, water from shower head also rainshower can not turn to high pressure, water will splashing out from bathub, make the bathroom floor all wet.
For Marriott standards the lobby looks awful and bare - doesn't give you the look and feel for the stars and the price you pay.

We had a fire alarm early in the morning, which turned out to be false. at least we know the hotel’s system is working.
The hotel is very new and the lobby is exceptional big making it very pleasing to see after travelling from Singapore by car.
The hotel is just 1+ year old, very clean, well kept and comfortable with well trained staff and lavish breakfast buffet spread.

It's refreshing to see a hotel in Malaysia being well maintained and the standard of the facilities isn't diminished over time.
It will be good if it does have the bar counter at swing pool area for easy order for food
This is really a serious breach of hygiene which we could not accept for a hotel under Marriott chain.

No in-room dining service and no convenience store within walking distance (extremely hot weather nowadays are not helpful).
Even the drop off has a distance to the lobby - very odd for a upper type hotel.
Maybe the lights at the drop off and lobby area can be brighter, it’s quite dark at night

Free Ice Cream in Lobby need to be monitored regularly so we can get the compliments :)
The lobby is big and looks verry clean but hospitable. Its look like a bussines meeting point.
Improve the plumbing and get rid of the smell and the rest should be fine

With this amount paid no spoon , plate & no cup for customer to use.
The hotel itself is really nice with floor to ceiling windows in the lobby areas
This proactive measure has significantly enhanced the safety and security of all hotel guests.

I can get better staying from other facilities with this much paying.
No other channel except for the info & promo about hotel.
Reasonable facility but a bit pricy room rate without breakfast

Facility is standard but enough to keep ourselves occupied.
The property is very new and very clean.
The hotel has a beautiful, spacious lobby.

The amenities is well equipped.
New hotel with well-maintained amenities.
Most areas kept clean.

Check-in / Check-out: What guests say
View Courtyard by Marriott Melaka56 relevant reviews
Check-in experiences are mixed: many guests report smooth, efficient service and occasional flexibility for early arrival, but long queues and rooms not ready after the 3 p.m. check-in time recur, with waits sometimes lasting until 5–6 p.m. Some also describe room-allocation confusion, poor follow-up, and checkout or billing problems; late checkout may be refused or charged extra.

We did requested of same floor/ connecting room but of course subject to availability. We were informed that the rooms we will get will be level 25 and 26. Then changed to level 11 and 12. Then one of the rooms we were given is level 12. We came back at 5.15pm for our room and was once again mentioned that the room is still not ready. We requested for a late check out as a form of compensation as our room was still not ready 2h later. Your staff mentioned that he will check with the duty manager and give a call back 10 mins later. Do note that no calls were given back at all.
On the day of our check out, 4/6, we received 2 phone calls at 12.15pm asking what time were were going to check out. Staff on the phone even mentioned that the latest we could check out was 1.15pm. Why was the late check out not mentioned somewhere in the system so that the night duty staff and the day duty staffs were made well aware of this? It created an unpleasant experience for us as we thought the late check in issue was resolved.
I was a guest at Melaka Courtyard on 2/6 to 4/6 from room 2712. I would like to share my concerns about my stay. Firstly, the check in was inefficient. We reached the hotel at about 4pm and was informed that one of the rooms was not ready. Staff mentioned that room will be ready by about 5pm. I'm sure you are aware that check in time is 3pm.

The only thing we’re not happy with was the checkin . We booked Jan 20-22, we arrived at the hotel at noon and requested to store our luggage and checkin . By 3:00 pm we came to the hotel to pickup our keys to the room and had to wait 30+ mins and no explanations.
When we came back at 11.30pm, Mr Zul assisted us by giving the same level rooms, 2712 and 2707. Giving one of the rooms an upgrade to bath tub and another room with a straits view. We also received free breakfast for the next day and a late check out of 3pm for both rooms.
We checked & requested for a late check out, the staff was kind enough to let us do so but one of the staff rang our room around 12 something telling my partner that it was passed the normal checking time but we have yet to checkout.

Initially we had been assigned rooms side by side but when we collected our keys, we were told that one of the rooms was assigned to another customer by another staff who didn't check the system.
Except for the reception staff who is new to the check in system cost us waited for sometime & one of our room was not ready despite we check in at 4.15pm
3) I make full payment in cash upon check in but not given receipt despite requested. And accidentally double charged to my credit card again after I checked out.

When checked in time, the font desk personnel has asked me to fill in form for parking validation and my car can freely in and out after submission.
We requested to check out a little later and they told us no, that the hotel was full, but for a fee we could stay.
Instead of encouraging to pay fully at the check-in the hotel staff charge an additional deposit holding an amount over and above the room cost.

Staff did not communicate a late check in (approx 2 hour wait) despite us arriving well after the start of check in period at 3pm.
However, the queue is slow and upon my turn, was told room is not ready and will me once it’s ok to check in.
Even though we arrived an hour earlier than the scheduled check in time, the receptionist was flexible in letting us have our room early.

Check in process too long.. one cust take around 15-30 minutes to check in, especially when if the cust is foreigner
Unfortunately I was charged for tourism tax which was specified during payment as paid and there was no need to pay.
I paid, disputed and now 3 days later, the hotel mentioned curtly without an apology that the refund is in progress.

For the final day, when requesting for a card update, the front desk asked what time I would be checking out?
The price to be paid at the check-out varies significantly according to the market rate prevailing on the daily basis.
It was frustrating, to please us they gave us late checkout which was not needed in our situation.

However, upon check in staff informed us if beds not enough they would give us additional beds.
However, Check-in system is questionable as we were issued keycards to 2 rooms that were curren
Would be better if there were more staff especially since it was the school holidays.

Since it might have taken 1-2 hours, we decided to go shopping while waiting.
There was also some confusion about the credit card blocking amount at check in.
We called customer care, they said is from booking.com they cannot do anything

My magnetic card didn't work 3 times at the same day!
The process from checking in to checking out is exceptional.
Check in is smooth even is last min booking.

Pool: What guests say
View Courtyard by Marriott Melaka47 relevant reviews
Guests frequently praised the pool’s beauty, cleanliness, and relaxing atmosphere, especially the 8th-floor infinity pool with its city views. Families enjoyed the pool area, though some found the children’s pool too shallow and the adult pool too deep. The pool closes at 7 p.m., and guests noted there is no drinks service; some also felt it was small.

The stay would have been a perfect 10 if there was a rooftop bar / lounge to order f&b as we spent quite a bit of time up there relaxing. However having said this, the pool was not crowded / heavily utilized hence it may have not made economical sense for the property to set up one for now.
The pool should have a sign indicating that children of the suitable age can swim at the adult side. Even very small children are playing in the adult pool, and the adults are unable to swim laps.
Beautiful pool and pool area which is why we stay here as many hotels in Melaka do not have this... and it can get rather hot there in the afternoons.

The absolute highlight is the infinity pool on the 8th floor – the view over the city is spectacular and the atmosphere up there is just great.
Unfortunately, the pool closed at 7:00 PM which was unfortunate because that would be a great space to view the sunset from.
The pool and poolside area perfect for families - kids play in the pool and adults relaxing at the poolside area.

We spent the morning at the pool and no staff member passed by so we could ask for a drink.
The children’s pool resembles more of a fountain and is too shallow for older kids, such as an 8-year-old.
The pool was amazing, with great views and the surrounding area of the pool was relaxing.

When it's sunny there are just western people in the swimming pool and sun deck.
The pool and recreation area on the 8th floor was also lovely and relaxing.
The kids’ pool doesn’t feel like a proper pool, more like a fountain.

The pool closes at 7pm and there is no drinks service available there.
Pool was not huge but it was alright, kids had fun nonetheless.
And an infinity pool that was perfect for a lazy afternoon.

Pool at this resort is now one of my favourites.
My nephew enjoyed most of time in the swimming pool
Common area adjacent to the pool. good for noisy gathering.

While the adults’ pool is too deep for them.
The pool was great, and pool towels are available.
The pool and the area around it are great.

The children enjoyed their time thoroughly at the pool.
The pool area is nice and has great potential.
The gym and swimming pool was well maintained.

Having cafe with the swimming pool,
The swimming pool deck is gorgeous.
Beautiful pool and outdoor area.

And the pool is superb
Bed was also comfortable.
The beautiful pool

Parking: What guests say
View Courtyard by Marriott Melaka40 relevant reviews
Guests most often praise the ample, complimentary parking and generally smooth, convenient access, including plate recognition. The entrance can feel narrow, especially for larger vehicles, and some guests report confusion or delays when parking was not validated correctly. Parking is on Level 5, separate from the hotel-room lift.

Parking was said to be complimentary, but I was charged about three times during my stay. It didn't bother me too much but it would be nice if they could validate it properly or inform us that we'd have to validate the car number plate each time we want to exit.
The car park is a bit narrow, perhaps more safety signages to be displayed to bring up the awareness of the drivers, also more blind spot mirrors to display nearby the pedestrian walkway will be safer for the customers.
Whereas when I exit the parking, my car was not validated. The parking is located at Level 5 and I have to park my car again and go to Ground floor to validate. Is really wasting my time.

5) My car plate number not update in the system immediately upon check in and as a result I am unable to leave the car park.
I went to P4 , instead you should have told me to park at P5 for me to charge my car at nights.
The parking was a little confusing but understandable due to the fact that it is shared with the building next to it.

If I’m using Alphard, I have to see each and every move very very closely until I go up.
So you’ll need to walk past the concierge area every time just to get to the rooms lift
As for car park, they have plenty of available space and only need your car number.

Parking is on Level 5 and it’s a different lift from the hotel rooms lift.
Parking was excellent, wide ramps and ample wide parking spaces with good lift access.
Parking is complimentary and the system uses car plate recognition that's totally hassle free.

If u using myvi size of car, its wouldn’t be a problem.
Parking location and the size of the hotel n rooms was good
The hotel provided ample parking space, which made it convenient for us.

The parking route starting point of the building a little narrow.
Entering and exiting the hotel carpark was very smooth and efficient.
I was exiting carpark and i had to park my car

Once entered up, it’s little spacious and can park well.
The parking was bright and spacious with a guard station.
Lots of ticketless free parking on levels 5 & 6.

The parking area is large and easy to navigate.
Should have highlighted that it comes with EV charger.
Special plus to car parking convenience and especially security.

The breakfast and auto parking were also fantastic!
Parking is good & free for Hotel Guests.
They didn't validate the car park upon arrival..

Plenty of parking space
Parking was Hussle free.
Parking was hassle-free.

Restaurant: What guests say
View Courtyard by Marriott Melaka27 relevant reviews
Dining feedback is mixed: guests praise delicious dishes such as mee goreng, nasi goreng kampung and asam pedas, plus spacious seating and broad selections at times. Several reports describe food as excessively salty, while other complaints mention limited restaurant and room-service choices, a poor dinner buffet, and breakfast served insufficiently warm. Bar service is restricted before 2pm.

Couldn’t buy a drink at 6pm one day because we were told by the young lady the bar was being closed for cleaning. Seriously? 6pm? We noticed no such issue the next night when others went in for a drink at exactly the same time.
The food ... my second time staying at this hotel and still the food are lousy ... your nasi lemak was not properly cooked and very salty ... please get a good chef.
We had dinner twice at the restaurant, the chicken bolognese and nasi kampong were very salty even when we asked for it to be less salty.

Except for chef Azim who seemed to lack candour when asked why our fish and chip was missing the malt vinegar stated in the menu.
The in-room dining menu had limited options, and the food quality was somewhat disappointing, not quite what you’d expect from a five-star hotel.
I wanted to have some cocktails before check out but the lounge opens at 2pm hence no bar drinks available till then

This could be an isolated incident, but the hotel staff charged me for room service for which I did not order.
However on the last day of my stay found out that you can smoke in a seated area outside the restaurant
Food is very nice, many choices and delicious but if have privilege price for customer then everything will be perfect

The food is a tad too salty. The nasi lemak chilli even without ikan bills was extremely salty.
I do not recommend the Fish and Chips. Snapper for fish n chips? Sorry chef. Stick to traditions.
Spacious restaurant. the Asam Pedas is super delicious, not fishy at all, lots of okra and aubergines.

Restaurant is nicely laid out but quiet, and food was unexpectedly delicious, especially the mee goreng!
The Courtyard Cafe has comfortable and spacious seating with a great selection of local delights.
The dinner was also nice (just maybe a few more vegetarian options would be nice).

Will be good to have children’s menu where the food can be healthier.
We really enjoyed their Nasi Goreng Kampung – it tasted delicious.
Slightly delay in performing cleaning of dine table at the cafe.

The Berger served in the restaurant is very delicious.
Maybe another restaurant providing meal options can be considered.

The hotel offers a free shuttle to town and Jonker Street, which guests found helpful, but service is limited: seats may need to be registered for at the concierge, trips are infrequent, and guests wanted more timings, return trips, and weekday service. Some visitors needed a taxi or car to get around.

The hotel also offer free shuttle service to Jonker Street but will need to register at the concierge as there will be limited seats for each trip.
They do provide free shuttle bus for guests to the main tourist areas so that's all good.
As a traveler you will need a car or a taxi to get to the town centre

As we drove in from Singapore, it was nice that the hotel was easy to find
In Future - consider adding a shuttle service from the airport to the hotel.
The free shuttle bus should have a return trip and more timing.

The Hotel should provide shuttle to Jonker Street during weekdays as well.
Did not use the shuttle, but appreciate that it has one.
A courtesy bus might be a good service to offer..

Shuttle bus service is good but frequency is low.
There is even a shuttle service to Jonker Street.
So we have to go down and up..
