A Waterfront Resort Built Around Social Spaces

Contemporary Sentosa Cove Resort Identity
The property is organised as a contemporary, design-led resort rather than a conventional city hotel. Its programme centres on the waterfront setting, main pool deck, restaurants, bars, spa, gym and event facilities.
Centralised Event Circulation
All meeting facilities are located on the second floor, creating a consolidated event zone within the wider resort layout and separating conference circulation from the principal leisure spaces.
Sea, Marina and Private Pool Accommodation

Waterfront-Facing Guestrooms and Suites
The 240-room inventory includes 27 suites, with accommodation oriented toward the sea, marina or pool. Selected rooms provide balconies, while partial or full pool and ocean views extend the waterfront setting into the guestrooms.
Away Rooms with Private Outdoor Water
Ground-floor Away Rooms are the most distinctive accommodation category, featuring private outdoor plunge pools. They provide a separate outdoor water space in addition to the hotel’s main leisure pool.
Accessible Accommodation Options
Accessible rooms are available for guests with disabilities, adding an adapted accommodation option within the broader guestroom and suite inventory.
A Five-Venue Dining and Poolside Collection

SKIRT’s Grill Format
SKIRT is the signature grill-focused restaurant, providing the property’s dedicated steakhouse-style dining concept among its principal food-and-beverage venues.
All-Day International Dining
The Kitchen Table serves international cuisine throughout the day, functioning as the hotel’s principal all-day restaurant within the wider dining programme.
Cocktails, Lounge Service and WET Deck
WOOBAR focuses on cocktails and snacks, W Lounge provides lounge-based drinks and service, and WET Deck combines poolside drinks and food beside the main outdoor pool.
WET Pool Deck and Sentosa Marina Living

WET’s Free-Form Outdoor Pool
WET is an outdoor free-form pool described as one of Singapore’s largest. The deck includes a pool bar, sun loungers, umbrellas, pool and beach towels, waterslide access and reported year-round, 24-hour operation.
Separate Children’s Pool and Waterslide
A separate children’s pool supports family water recreation, while the main pool area includes a waterslide and welcomes all ages.
Marina with Ten Boat Berths
The property’s waterfront programme includes a marina with 10 boat berth spaces, linking the resort directly to Sentosa Cove’s boating environment and yacht-oriented setting.
AWAY Spa and Panoramic FIT Gym

AWAY Spa Treatment Environments
AWAY Spa comprises 6 AWAY Rooms, 3 AWAY Suites and 5 private treatment rooms. Treatments include facials, hot stone massages and general massage services, with sauna access also identified within the wellness offering.

Event and Business Facilities
The hotel has eight meeting and event spaces covering more than 1,800 square metres. Its ballroom measures 720 square metres, while a contemporary business centre supports the property’s event infrastructure.
Sentosa Cove’s Marina and Residential Enclave

Waterfront Residential Sentosa
Sentosa Cove is a waterfront residential and leisure enclave known for oceanfront villas, waterway bungalows, hillside mansions and upscale condominiums, creating a quieter setting than Singapore’s central business and shopping districts.
Marina Living and Recreational Boating
The area is associated with marina living, yacht activity, recreational boating and premium residential development. The hotel is embedded in this waterfront environment rather than a conventional retail-led neighbourhood.
Connected to Singapore by Sentosa Transport Links

Guest reviews
We analysed 1,730 reviews and found 447 containing specific, useful feedback about W Singapore – Sentosa Cove. The feedback is organised by topic so you can quickly see what guests say about the property.
Staff: What guests say
290 relevant reviewsStaff are repeatedly described as exceptionally friendly, attentive, professional, and helpful across reception, concierge, dining, housekeeping, and poolside service. Guests highlight proactive care, including arranging baby bed guards, sending a rain-interrupted meal to a room, accommodating children’s food requests, and providing responsive pre-arrival assistance. Many report seamless, detail-oriented service and memorable personal attention.
See the evidence
Instead of simply providing additional pillows, your team thoughtfully arranged proper baby bed guards for us.
His team swiftly packed our food and arranged for it to be sent to our room, ensuring our family remained comfortable despite the weather.
Every interaction — front desk, restaurant, housekeeping — felt friendly and genuine.
Even prior to my arrival, Nigel was proactive and responsive, ensuring that all arrangements were well taken care of.See all reviews about staff
Overall: What guests say
181 relevant reviewsW Singapore – Sentosa Cove is repeatedly praised for attentive, fast service, cleanliness, luxurious grounds, a large pool, and strong family amenities including free ice cream, popcorn, and bath toys. Guests highlight excellent breakfast, a quiet harbour location, and complimentary shuttle service. Families dominate the feedback; the main drawbacks are high rates and one concern about pool upkeep.
See the evidence
The resort is very kid-friendly—with free ice cream, popcorn, and even bath toys for our little ones.
Couldn't fault anything - really nice hotel, staff were all fantastic, the breakfast was amazing (particularly travelling with two kids who are very picky eaters) and everyone just went out of their way to make sure that we had a great time.
Nice to be down by the harbour with many local and cool restaurants as well. Shuttle service (free) to many other useful locations.
I couldn’t fault it …. If I had to choose something - it would be that it cost a lot to stay there but that was expected and our bills weren’t a nasty surprise at the end.See all reviews about overall
Rooms: What guests say
245 relevant reviewsRooms are repeatedly described as spacious, clean, comfortable, modern, and well-equipped, with attractive pool, marina, harbour, and sea views; suites and balconies are notable upgrades. However, renovation quality and availability are inconsistent, with some guests receiving dated or unfinished rooms, occasional maintenance issues, missing amenities, musty smells, and beds that feel too firm.
See the evidence
My Junior Suite was a standout, with the star being its massive 180-degree corner terrace offering unbeatable marina and sea views.
The private balcony pool can be accessed from the living room, bedroom, and even the bathroom, which made the whole space feel open and luxurious.
Despite the hotel advertising “newly renovated”, we were put in a non renovated room.
There were a few occasions when some items, such as glasses, towels, or slippers, were missing from the room, but once we contacted the hotel, they were replenished immediately.See all reviews about rooms
Location: What guests say
190 relevant reviewsSentosa Cove offers a beautiful, quiet marina setting with promenades, yachts, nearby restaurants, cafés, and shops. Free shuttles make Sentosa attractions accessible, but the hotel is at the island’s far end: reaching central Singapore can be expensive, and beaches, Universal Studios, and the Aquarium are not conveniently walkable.
See the evidence
Beautifully located right on the lagoon at Sentosa Cove, the view of the property and the rest of the island was stunning.
The hotel’s free shuttle buses run regularly to VivoCity, Universal Studios, and other key spots, making getting around a breeze.
There is only a small harbor promenade with a few restaurants within walking distance. Otherwise, there is absolutely nothing to do at this location; one must always take the bus or taxi.
It was hard to visit any beach close by via walking as you are in a private gated off area the area next to it where beach was is also gated off.See all reviews about location
Pool: What guests say
195 relevant reviewsThe large, warm outdoor pool is the dominant highlight: it is open 24 hours, has a waterslide, children’s and wading areas, varied depths, loungers, towels, poolside service and occasional treats. Repeated drawbacks include limited or broken loungers and worn towels, slow or QR-only bar ordering, peak-time crowds and outside children; reports also describe severe flies and a serious slide-safety lapse.
See the evidence
What impressed me the most was the hotel swimming pool, which is open 24 hours.
The pool is one of the best I've been to - different pool heights for different swimmers, waterslide and plenty of space to relax.
On some days, there were up to 100 kids in the pool, which is unbearable. Hotel guests couldn't find any loungers because they were all occupied by outsiders.
Our family’s stay at W Singapore – Sentosa Cove was marred by a serious safety lapse at the pool slide. The slide attendant allowed the next rider, an adult male, to descend without ensuring the previous person had safely exited, resulting in my young daughter being accidentally kicked in the head by him.See all reviews about pool
Breakfast: What guests say
182 relevant reviewsBreakfast is repeatedly praised for its extensive, high-quality spread spanning Western, Asian, Indian and local dishes, with seafood, laksa, dim sum, pastries, fresh juices and made-to-order eggs; families especially enjoy it. Recurring drawbacks are crowded, noisy service and table queues, active birds outdoors, repetitive daily items, and isolated coffee and raw-egg complaints.
See the evidence
The quality stood out — fresh seafood like smoked salmon, good cheeses, Asian options like dim sum and laksa, made-to-order eggs, tropical fruits, fresh juices, and a great pastry selection.
The spread nailed both international favorites and local gems like kaya toast and laksa—flavors were on point, and despite the hotel’s size, crowds never felt overwhelming.
It was noisy, the tables were cluttered and it was giving me anxiety sitting there waiting for someone to drop their food on top of me at the buffet line.
Cracked them all, all fully raw. Such a food safety issue. And very disappointing.See all reviews about breakfast
Facilities: What guests say
101 relevant reviewsFacilities are frequently praised, especially the large family-friendly pool, gym, restaurants, bar, gardens, cleanliness, and children’s activities. However, several reviews report aging facilities, outdated entertainment, poor pool-changing-room cleanliness, insufficient towels, and occasional maintenance issues. Spa and food prices are considered high, while bathroom amenities and laundry access are limited.
See the evidence
The location, pool, gardens and other facilities are top notch.
They had free popcorn and ice cream in the day for kids, lots of other activities through the day (movie screening, yoga classes, etc.)
the pool was opened 24 hours, which at times we felt like it was exclusively for us when no one used it.
the one area that could use improvement is the ladies’ toilet/changing area by the pool — it was quite dirty and had a strong odor.See all reviews about facilities
Check-in / Check-out: What guests say
57 relevant reviewsGuests frequently praise warm, helpful staff and smooth check-in/out, with early check-in sometimes granted. However, long queues and room-readiness delays are recurring, including waits over 30 minutes or until 5 p.m. Late-checkout flexibility is inconsistent, while large deposits and delayed refunds cause notable frustration; occasional booking cancellations and communication failures are serious concerns.
See the evidence
From the moment I arrived, the welcome was warm and genuine.
There were long queues each day at check-in reminiscent of low cost airline queues.
I supposed to check in at 3pm, but room is only ready at 5pm.
Their trick to not get bad reviews is to keep your deposit for 14 days which I have never experienced before in all my travel.See all reviews about check-in / check-out
Restaurant: What guests say
64 relevant reviewsDining is frequently praised, especially SKIRT’s steaks, Woo Bar, breakfast, and broad Western-to-Asian selections. However, on-site food and room service are repeatedly described as expensive, with limited halal, vegetarian, vegan, and children’s options. Breakfast can be crowded, while service and food quality are inconsistent, including an overcooked steak and delayed, burnt pizza.
See the evidence
Skrt- their world renowned steakhouse - hands down the best wagyu experience agreed by the entire table.
Food and room service was very expensive
The choice of food at the restaurants didn’t offer many vegetarian options.
The all day dining is too small and cannot accommodate all guests, it gets very crowded at breakfast.See all reviews about restaurant
Transport: What guests say
33 relevant reviewsFree Sentosa shuttle buses, especially Bus B stopping at the hotel, are the standout transport benefit, often running every 10–15 minutes to beaches, monorail, Universal Studios, and other attractions. However, routes and schedules can be confusing, VivoCity access may require transfers, and CBD, airport, and taxi transport can be difficult or costly.
See the evidence
The free shuttle bus allowed you to navigate around Sentosa to see the highlights it had to offer.
The hotel has a free shuttle bus to the beach and other areas of the Island, including the monorail , we used this a couple of times, it was very efficient.
The information about the hotel shuttle bus routes and schedules is not very clear, and I didn't know where to obtain this information.
getting to and from the cbd was a little difficult with grab and taxis charging higher feesSee all reviews about transport
Spa: What guests say
25 relevant reviewsGuests frequently praise the spa’s cleanliness, high standards, pool, sauna, steam room, jacuzzi, infrared sauna, ice bath, and relaxation room. Treatments are well regarded but considered pricey. Recurring drawbacks include renovation or maintenance closures, limited treatment availability, cold air conditioning, and gender-separated facilities preventing couples from using the jacuzzi together.
See the evidence
the spa is also excellent, with a steam room, sauna, jacuzzi, relaxation room, and ice bath, all at a high standard.
We asked to use the jacuzzi indoors because it was raining but the spa staff told us that it was seperate for men and women so no romantic jacuzzi together, and it was also not hot as it was broken.
The air conditioning in the spa area is too cold, in fact it did not allow me to enjoy more than 10 minutes in the jacuzzi, it was very cold.
The Spa was unfortunately closed due to renovation.See all reviews about spa
Gym: What guests say
22 relevant reviewsThe gym is repeatedly praised as well-equipped, spacious, well-maintained, and suitable for different fitness levels. Its 24-hour access is a notable convenience, especially alongside the pool; yoga sessions are also mentioned positively. One guest suggested adding reformer Pilates, while another only viewed the gym without using it.
See the evidence
The gym was awesome with all the essential machines in a well maintained condition
Pool & gym were fantastic open 24hrs so within Singapore's humidity all day and evenings u get access to the pool whenever.
The gym hits everything for everyone on all levels.
A reformer pilates in the gym would have made it perfect.See all reviews about gym
