Avani Sukhumvit Bangkok Hotel

The location is excellent; after getting off the BTS, you can walk through the mall and directly reach the hotel.

The hotel is far from most tourist areas, and it takes around 30–40 minutes by taxi to reach almost any main attraction

The B1 to 3F area is a shopping mall. There is a supermarket on B1 and a Relax Place chain Thai massage shop on 3F. A 7-11 is just a 30-second walk to the left of the main entrance, and the hotel corridor leads to the Lotus Hypermarket across the street in 3 minutes.

If it's after 10 PM, you must enter from the sidewalk next to it. Although the sidewalk is not far from the hotel entrance, it can be a bit inconvenient when it's raining heavily and you have luggage with you.

The rooms are spacious and very clean, equipped with everything you need for a work trip.

The rooms are spacious, there is a bidet in the bathroom, and the staff are helpful. The sound insulation in the room is excellent.

The 2 pillows provided are too soft, resulting in poor sleep every night. The room is a bit old, and the hairdryer is also outdated. I feel that 5,000 TWD including breakfast is not worth this price.

The aircon had a very bad smell and the room felt like it was badly humid, and there was no way we could control it from the room.

The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodated our request for early check-in in advance.

Despite the late check-in at 2 AM, the staff welcomed us with big smiles, which was very comforting. Moreover, since we were only staying for one night, they kindly offered us a late check-out for free so we could rest comfortably.

We added the hotel breakfast, and the dishes change every day. The breakfast on the second day included ice cream on honey toast, which was very impressive! And of course, we must have a bowl of Thai boat noodles every day. Overall, the value for money is quite good.

The breakfast utensils are reused from the previous group of guests (they are simply wiped down with a cleaning towel for the next group), which raises hygiene concerns.

Plus, there were many guests and we all went for breakfast at the same time, there weren't enough seats

Fantastic facilities, perfectly located at the On Nut station, with highly professional staff, from housekeeping to reception.

The hotel is great, the room is very clean and very beautiful, superb view, professional and pleasant staff.

Very disappointing stay – poor communication, unexpected charges, and unfriendly service

Lack of sun loungers at the pool; in 4 days, not a single lounger available

Self service washing machines were out of the way and lacked clear instructions.

The pool is rather small and unfortunately not on the roof, but nice and refreshing.

With a children's section, a part with a jet stream, and a normal section. Also a bar in the water. Drinks are not cheap.

We would have liked to be pre-warned of the unavailability of the swimming pool throughout our stay.

They promised 1 hour, but delayed and delayed, so we were sitting in the lobby for a long time. Better if they say 3 hours, then we can do something while waiting.

Even though they state check-in from 2pm, we had to wait till 4.30pm for one of our rooms—annoying after a long, tiring flight.

We booked a room for 3 nights; on the last day, our room keycard was locked, and we couldn't get into our room or use the lift. When we reported it, the staff didn't even offer an apology for the hotel's system error.

They asked for an additional 3000 THB deposit, which had never been mentioned anywhere during the booking process.

Restaurant food for dinner was cold but they did apologise.

had a small group for 4 family and friends; meals came at all separate times; always had to seek out staff for service; meals were not exceptional; classic manhatten cocktail was shaken not stirred(always stir clear cocktail unless specified by customer); expensive relative to experience.

The BTS station On Nut is directly connected to the department store at exit 3, and the hotel is right next door, making transportation convenient. Inside the building, there's a small department store with McDonald's and Starbucks, as well as some restaurants to eat at.

Hotel is easy to access from BTS sky train station directly outside and is only five stops from downtown Bangkok.

I also didnt like that after 10:00 pm the direct passage from the bts station and the hotel is closed.

The taxi from the airport to the hotel was a free perk from the hotel and it was bad; better to pay and take a reliable taxi rather than drivers who try to cheat and steal

The gym is small for the size of the hotel.

Gym is large but with limited machine options.

I wish there was more equipment in the gym as a couple.

The gym mats in the gym are a bit old ...
