Guests most often praise the clean, modern and comfortable rooms, helpful professional staff, good value, and convenient location by On Nut BTS; city views and breakfast also stand out. A few reviews report poor communication, unexpected charges and unfriendly service, while others call the hotel outdated or say there is little to do nearby.

In comparison to hotels in Taiwan, it feels more like a four-star hotel, but the location is convenient, and the price for a family room averages 5,800 Thai Baht per night, which is quite a good value.
Since the night costs over 4000.- baht pr. night, and that is the price you have to pay for a 5 star+ hotel, it's my opinion that this hotel is overpriced.
This place was trying to be luxury but not quite pulling it off, just a bit of a false feeling throughout, and full of new school Chinese fashion victims.

I am so satisfied during we stayed there, the hotel given my boss a surprise to put the birthday decoration on his bed and prepare birthday cake.
Its comfort, its calm, an extraordinary bed and pillows, classy decor, impeccable overall condition and cleanliness, and especially a charming staff that goes the extra mile.
Also, I woke up to noise two of the three nights I stayed at this hotel, despite being especially soundproof, as stated in the ad.

I will recommend my friend and family to stay on the hotel as hospitality and nature was great during our stay on hotel.
My first visit to Bangkok for a long time and the hotel provided me with everything I needed for my stay.
A very good accommodation in terms of price, also worth 5 stars at the lower end of the spectrum in Germany.

Overall, the experience was very disappointing. The hotel seemed more focused on taking extra money rather than providing good service
There's a currency exchange in the same mall, I recommend it because it's better than other places
Overall you can feel the hotel is still very new and well taken care of.

I recommended Avani hotel is the best if you wanna stay in Bangkok.
Extremely well run hotel, super stay with everything available at short distance.
Love the hotel, will definitely go again in my next stay.

Really nice hotel, but at my opinion overpriced and overrated.
Fabulous hotel, I'm looking forward to staying there again.
But washing five items for 1,100.-bath is ridiculous pricing.

The hotel is straightforward, and you'll feel comfortable
Shaving kits and stuffs were provided on request.
The inhouse connection with the coffee club

This is my second experience with Avani.
A super Hotel in a vibrant city.
Overall very satisfied with the stay.

Excellent, from many points of view
Excellent hotel and a great value.
Overall a comfortable and clean hotel.

If you read this book it!
Sanitizer is available at every end.
Great hotel with very good value

Location: What guests say
View Avani Sukhumvit Bangkok Hotel267 relevant reviews
The hotel’s standout feature is its direct connection to On Nut BTS and an adjoining shopping mall, with supermarkets, restaurants, street food and convenience stores nearby. It offers easy city access without being in the center, but many major tourist attractions can take 30–40 minutes by taxi; late-night or rainy access with luggage may also be less convenient.

Good living facilities: The B1 to 3F area is a shopping mall. There is a supermarket on B1 and a Relax Place chain Thai massage shop on 3F. A 7-11 is just a 30-second walk to the left of the main entrance, and the hotel corridor leads to the Lotus Hypermarket across the street in 3 minutes. The Lotus Hypermarket has a wide variety of products, and you can buy Thai souvenirs here.
The location is very convenient; you can directly access the adjacent department store, and just downstairs there are both BTS and Lotus. There are also two 7-Elevens nearby (the closer one is a minute's walk away, and the farther one is a two-minute walk, and the farther one is less crowded, with a comprehensive selection of beauty products available for purchase!).
The location is excellent, with the hotel connected to a shopping mall. On the first floor of the mall, there is a McDonald's and Starbucks, and the second floor leads directly to exit 3 of BTS On Nut, avoiding exposure to sun and rain. Nearby, there is also a small 7-11 and a massage parlor.

It is somewhat far from the city center (Siam), and it takes over 20 minutes to transfer via the BTS to other attractions, as most places require transferring at Siam, so you will need a bit more time for travel.
Aside from being a bit far from the prime area of Bangkok (but the BTS station is nearby, so it's still quite convenient), I have no dislikes about it.
The hotel is next to BTS Annou Station, and you can enter the hotel either via the skybridge or from the ground floor, making transportation very convenient.

The location is convenient, right next to the hotel is a shopping mall, making it very easy to shop or find food at night.
Couldn’t find any high end restaurants close by have to take a cab and especially in the eve the traffic is a concern.
Convenient travel, close to the BTS skytrain and with a mall inside, making it easy to find food and buy necessities comfortably.

You don't actually need to leave the building there's restaurants a cinema Starbucks dentists shopping mall all located in the building
Super convenient location, Sky train station is there, food market is near, shopping centre and restaurants connected to the hotel.
Connected to a small shopping mall with a McDonald's and Starbucks as well as a lot of other dining options.

Easy access to BTS (Sky Train) and Shopping Malls (there are lots of food outlets, massages and clothing outlets)
Although hotel is next to BTS, but a bit far from city center Siam area and river front.
It was great that I could ride the BTS without going outside during the rainy season trip.

If plan to use public transportation, please prepare to stand in the packed train a little longer.
It’s right on the On Nut BTS that takes you everywhere or could take you everywhere
Great place to jump off to downtown from even though it’s not near old town.

Excellent location close to so many places to eat the BTS is literally connected.
Located next to the BTS, the hotel is easily accessible without a long walk.
There is a mall attached to the hotel with many shops and restaurants.

Although it's not in the city center, the transportation is really convenient!
Only a few stops to the biggest malls, if you fancy those.
The hotel is connected to a coffee cafe and a shopping mall.

Love the location right at the BTS... easy to get everywhere.
Shopping mall and restaurants directly from the hotel without going outside.
It is very centrally located and close to the metro station.

Street vendors cooking and selling clothes in the front yard/area.
It’s more of a business hotel than a leisure hotel.
The hotel is so convenient for shopping and public transportation.

Rooms: What guests say
View Avani Sukhumvit Bangkok Hotel205 relevant reviews
Guests most often praise the rooms for being clean, comfortable, well equipped, and—often—spacious, with especially comfortable beds and striking Bangkok skyline views from higher floors. Recurring drawbacks include pillows that are too soft, occasional small rooms, and noisy or musty air conditioning; some guests also report poor ventilation, bathroom mold, or insufficient towels and tissues.

The air conditioning in the room had a moldy and sour smell; I'm not sure if it's due to insufficient cleaning of the vents or other factors. They quickly addressed this after I reported it and offered us some fruit and a chocolate platter as an apology, but the issue still wasn't resolved.
The hotel offered a solution with two single beds combined, but the design of the hotel's outlets is in the middle, and there is also an immovable bedside lamp in between, making it impossible for two people to sleep comfortably.
That's after I had to take a group room with an adjoining door, because the double bed standard room I had reserved was overbooked and they wanted me to go in a twin room and push two singles together.

Had to change room to pool view at the back due to traffic noise on the front side of the hotel, even in the Skyline room.
The room for me is no good for the first 3 days and they change it for me with the last 2 nights.
If you can't flush toilet paper in a hotel of this rank, I would like that to be indicated.

The bathroom's ventilation is poor, and moisture tends to spread into the room, making it more humid.
Strange noise from the plumbing in the bathroom which was fixed quick by the facility team.
For a hotel as nice as Avani you would think they would upgraded their TVs.

The room service was very thorough, there was tea and coffee in the room.
If you stay on the lower floors, you'll hear noise from the street
The room is nicely done up, clean line with all the basic amenities.

The room was lovely however i felt a little suffocated in there.
The room was cleaned nicely while we were out every day!
Rooms are modern, comfortable, very clean, and all essentials are included.

The room is comfortable and it has a great skyline.
The rooms were spotless and the facilities were fantastic.
The hygiene condition in my room was not satisfactory.

Rooms are okay for size but cleanliness is average.
Have to call for more towels and tissues.
The city view from the shower was nice.

The room views were that impressive, that’s all!
Moreover if switched on the noise was unbearable.
Room was large and comfortable and quiet.

It was working perfectly for my family’s
The room was modern, spacious and clean.
Comfortable room, well-equipped and tastefully decorated.

Bed and pillows were super comfortable.
The rest room floor was wet.
Rooms are clean and neat.

Staff: What guests say
View Avani Sukhumvit Bangkok Hotel194 relevant reviews
Staff are repeatedly described as friendly, helpful, professional, and accommodating, with thoughtful gestures such as arranging early check-in, birthday surprises, late checkout, and returning forgotten items. Front-desk service is inconsistent: some guests report exceptional care, while others found reception unfriendly, slow, or unwelcoming; one guest also had to carry their own bags.

I said can you join the two bed together , which they did but there was big gap and i requested to connect the mattress then put the sheet on the top and the front lady said it can be done tomorrow not today ,i was so dissapointed from 5 star hotel to receive this answer , it was just matter of 5 -10 min to make bed .
Being in the hospitality for more than 3 decades, I know what i need to do to help them to manage their resources better and I did email them of my arrival time, but no effort was done to accommodate my request which is to check in at 12pm.
Unfortunately, the welcome was not as I experienced at the Avani+ Resort. No welcome drinks, no information about breakfast, building facilities; Wi-Fi was not explained to us. We had to ask for it ourselves. I had a different experience last time with this chain.

Then I was bit firmed and said how would you expect couple to sleep in one single bed and want my bed to be made today - end up making it for me ( completely un-necessory) could have done it without me telling them.
They even left a note inquiring about our laundry hanging in the room, asking if we needed laundry service and proactively informing us about nearby laundries and the hotel's services, but these would incur extra charges and are not cheap...
On the third day, after cleaning the room, the housekeeping staff did not leave a bath towel, so I had to request one from customer service to have it sent to my room in the evening.

Special thanks to the manager Ong, who helped me when I was having problems printing boarding passes, and 2 young ladies, Bam and Joy who could not have been more cheerful and helpful.
I really appreciated the staff service who left us a card for the last day to be able to change, take a shower, and continue to use the hotel's facilities!
Majority of the staff were extremely friendly, there to help and wait on you, however a few which I thought could have cracked a smile once in a while.

Finally, when I complained about the above at the reception, the employee did not seem to understand what I was complaining about, or did not understand English at all.
They responded promptly to my request to copy a ticket from my phone and to the issue with the hairdryer in the room.
I loved that when I told them to prepare a birthday cake, they got really excited, it's really nice honestly.

The staff are super helpful and were able to arrange several excursions for myself, despite the language barrier.
The staff person ("Eye") was really helpful and made us very comfortable after we checked out.
We also liked the service and all of the staff were very helpful with tourist information.

Our stay was pleasant and was made better with your staff . keep it up.
Boom is the best, got us tickets for the Muay Thai fight. 👍
Especially cream helped a lot to make the stay an absolute success

The staff was very friendly and was very helpful giving information.
The service in the hotel is not of a 5-star hotel
Only got the stuffs from housekeeping after calling reception again.

Concierge and front desk English communicable, friendly and helpful
Kim on reception was super hot and super cool.
And there were also some issues with communication.

Staff at front desk very friendly and accommodating!
The staff are fantastic and very accommodating.
The staff were not friendly or helpful

2P at the front desk is invaluable!
The attitude of some employees is cold.
The staff were friendly and helpful.

Breakfast: What guests say
View Avani Sukhumvit Bangkok Hotel175 relevant reviews
Breakfast is often praised for its generous, varied Asian and Western buffet, with some dishes changing daily and several guests calling it delicious and good value. Others found it bland, repetitive, limited for vegetarian or halal diets, or poorly prepared. Crowds, queues, limited seating, short breakfast hours, and one hygiene concern about reused utensils were also reported.

We added the hotel breakfast, and the dishes change every day. The breakfast on the second day included ice cream on honey toast, which was very impressive! And of course, we must have a bowl of Thai boat noodles every day. Overall, the value for money is quite good.
I mentioned something again to receptionist staff upon my leaving-they got someone from the dining room staff again still charging me for a full Buffett but that they offer to make up for it.
At the breakfast the options for European type of breakfast was a little bit limited :) Still very good buffer by the way but if you improve it that would be perfect :)

1. The hotel breakfast is inexpensive and delicious, with a buffet style that allows you to customize it to your taste, and the dishes and drinks are changed slightly every day.
I booked the room with breakfast included, but when I went to the restaurant the next morning they said my room did not include breakfast and charged 1000 THB extra
I was informed by the hostess to 'hurry up' and even though I was staying at hotel(had to show room number and had that confirmed prior to being seated).

But seriously at that moment when you see that they are taking things away from the Buffett set up and I have nothing at my table not even coffee?!!!
The breakfast utensils are reused from the previous group of guests (they are simply wiped down with a cleaning towel for the next group), which raises hygiene concerns.
The same hostess came over with my bill and asked I pay for my bill when I had not even got the opportunity to sit down with coffee!

It would be good to modify the breakfast menus because we come often and having the same thing on the plate all the time becomes repetitive.
I’m sure the food is good, I cannot complain about anything as everything else was an extremely enjoyable and pleasant experience.
Breakfast: Not suitable for Muslims at all, very crowded, so there is not enough space for everyone on 36 floors

Some of the breakfast food could of done with being warm or hot like allot of other hotels do.
The breakfast had a lot of choice, but I would like to see better quality hot buffet selections.
The breakfast is not varied at all, it differs from my previous stays in four hotels in Bangkok.

Buffet was so great and has a lot of choices we had really a great experience.
Since there's a coffee shop in the same building, you could just skip it altogether.
The breakfast is very comprehensive with several types of cuisines, there is something for everyone!

Nothing except for the noise that some tourists can make at breakfast
The breakfast buffet was delicious and considerate of multicultural food preferences.
Could do with a few more hot vegetarian options are breakfast.

Breakfast was very busy and crowded this time I stayed.
Breakfast had a wide variety but not that tasty.
And you stand over me and ask for payment????

Breakfast was very good with a big choice.
Delicious breakfast buffet (at a reasonable price).
They have a wide spread for breakfast.

Breakfast is good and has various choices
This isn't the hotels fault obviously...
The breakfast buffet was really good.

Facilities: What guests say
View Avani Sukhumvit Bangkok Hotel82 relevant reviews
Guests most often praised the hotel’s cleanliness, modern facilities, and pool, though some found the pool small and loungers scarce. The attached mall and nearby shops, cafés, and restaurants were especially convenient. Recurring drawbacks included a small, crowded lobby, occasional bathroom drainage or fixture problems, and unclear or unavailable laundry facilities; some hotel services were considered expensive.

The hotel facilities are pretty good: The housekeeping keeps everything clean and even neatly bundles my charging cables! We added the hotel breakfast, and the dishes change every day. The breakfast on the second day included ice cream on honey toast, which was very impressive!
Amenity kit had to be asked for, compared to other 4 star hotels less service was provided included into room charge (e.g. less water bottles in the rooms, no water dispenser at pool)
5. The prices are cheap and the value for money is high; you can shop at the Lotus supermarket across the street, or grab snacks at the 7-11 on the next street over.

They charge you for any service you request; for example, I requested an extra bed and they charged me an additional service fee on top of the cost of the bed!
The entrance of the hotel and the corridors are dark, the furniture is somewhat old, and there is only a bathtub in the bathroom for taking showers.
Also, the reception area is not big enough for group tours to check in, very crowded and noisy when it’s crowded with visitors.

My nightstand was the only place to switch on the entrance lights and the bathroom switches were at the entrance.
It was convenient that I could take out a late-night snack for my hungry grandchild from the nearby commercial facility.
AC: Typical problem is they are loud in the night but I guess there is no solution for that.

The lobby is very small for a hotel this size making it difficult at times to sit and relax.
The cleanliness of the hotel, the quick response, and the constant smile make it very suitable for Gulf families.
Connected to On Nut BTS, connected to a mall with lots of restaurants and to a grocery store.

Lift floor was dirty - lots of skid marks ( not to the standard of 5 star)
The shower has great water pressure, and the water can be very hot. The soundproofing is decent.
Lobby area wasn’t as clean as I thought it should be but the other common areas were.

Lack of sun loungers at the pool; in 4 days, not a single lounger available
I plugged my USB cable directly into the outlet so I didn't need a converter.
Room service is not available late at night, but there is a 7-Eleven next door.

It’ll be nice if it is a standard Olympic size for the swimming pool.
The Coffee shop and Shopping area attached was fantastic, everything you could need.
No air freshener in the bathroom, pillows can be more firm.

Also the shower doors were sagging and wouldn't close properly.
Compared to a 5-star hotel, facilities were quite simple.
The shower water has difficulty draining, causing overflow.

There are no activities for children at all
Noisy as works all day in the hotel.
NO self serve washing machine for laundry

The convenient mall attached to the hotel
The cleanliness of the bathroom.
High prices at the bar.

Pool: What guests say
View Avani Sukhumvit Bangkok Hotel51 relevant reviews
The pool is on the 9th floor and is often described as attractive, clean, warm, and refreshing, with a bar and a children’s section. Its small size is the most frequent complaint; loungers can be scarce and it may get crowded. Some guests reported closures without advance notice, cloudy water, or an unpleasant odor.

There is a small rooftop pool which was overrun by children during our second stay, with only a few lounge chairs and a foul odor coming from the pool.
I booked this hotel because of the pool, otherwise with the same price I could shift my hotel to more central but without pool.
The only thing that was not so great for a 5-star hotel is the pool. Much too small! What a shame.

Make sure you wear thongs/flip flops/jandals/sandals to the pool area otherwise you'll be doing the proverbial hot bindi ballet haha!!
If I need to find some negative I would say the pool could have been a bit deeper 😀
We would have liked to be pre-warned of the unavailability of the swimming pool throughout our stay.

High-end hotel at an affordable price with its pool, spa, gym, and ideally located for easy access.
Not a very big pool, but fine to cool off in Bangkok and it looks nice.
It is very unfortunate that the pool was closed for 3 days when I was here.

The pool is rather small and unfortunately not on the roof, but nice and refreshing.
The pool, in my opinion, is slightly undersized compared to the size of the hotel.
With a children's section, a part with a jet stream, and a normal section.

The pool is big enough to cool off and relax on the loungers.
I would appreciate it if the swimming pool could be a bit bigger.
The pool is nice but closes a bit early at 8 PM.

I, who am a "good swimmer", couldn't practice for my weekly kilometer.
A few extra loungers on the (artificial) grass field would be nice.
Too few longe chairs at pool and pool had a foul odor.

Not enough lounges at the pool which was over run by children.
The pool water was a little cloudy and had a slight odor.
Very happy with the pool (often quiet, but pleasantly warm and clean).

The pool and gym do not seem to meet five-star hotel standards.
They should at least indicate in the website to inform their customers.
The pool was under renovation so we did not use it.

We were very disappointed not to be able to swim.
Pool With a Bar Nearby is always a greatest option😍😍
But, I repeat, it's just a personal need.

The pool was also accessible and friendly.
Pool area too small for large families
The pool / Skydeck area is relaxing.

Restaurant: What guests say
View Avani Sukhumvit Bangkok Hotel37 relevant reviews
The 7th-floor restaurant and terrace offer city views and are often praised for delicious dinners, including Thai food and sushi. Experiences are mixed: some meals were cold or average, and diners reported poor coordination, staggered dishes, and slow service. Breakfast selection disappointed some guests; reviewers also wanted more vegetarian, Indian, and halal options.

Had a small group for 4 family and friends; meals came at all separate times; always had to seek out staff for service; meals were not exceptional; classic manhatten cocktail was shaken not stirred(always stir clear cocktail unless specified by customer); expensive relative to experience.
We ordered a margherita pizza, thinking it couldn't be messed up - but instead of margherita, we received something with terrible cheese and a million chopped tomatoes on top (which we don't eat).
The other meals are a mixed bag and I would urge you to instead explore other options around you (of which there are many).

Breakfast buffet, restaurant terrace on the 7th floor for dinner and also for morning coffee + impeccable service, who runs when called..
A restaurant and bar that overlooks the city from either the outside patio or indoors in air conditioned comfort.
I also tried room service and dined in the restaurant for dinner which was also delicious.

Attention: Taxes and service charges are still added to the prices in the restaurant, etc.!
Starbucks and McDonald's do not meet the needs of Muslims, Arabs, and especially Gulf residents.
There are many restaurants on the ground floor that are very convenient for the evening.

I was a party of 3 who ate an evening meal in the bar
Some of the food from a la carte were average, but it’s still good.
More healthy veg options should be added. Some indian dishes can be added.

Liked the Japanese selection of crab meat sushi & the chicken coconut soup.
Dinner at the hotel was also beyond all expectations, with a lovely view.
There is a cute restaurant and bar on 7th floor overlooking the city.

Ate evening meal in the restaurant one night which was also delicious.
Thai food in restaurant superb , try the soft shelled crab .
We had a drink at the restaurant as well amazing view.

They have a restaurant which is relaxed and nice too.
There Green house inhouse restraunt is one the best thing.
They offered special dessert buffet to kids complementary to us.

Restaurant food for dinner was cold but they did apologise.
Great, but wanting more options in vegetarian / indian food.
The restaurant bar on the 7th floor and its terrace

Recommend the Woodland Cafe which is just opposite Tesco Lotus
If you love food, this place is perfect for you.
I dined in the restaurant twice. Also very good.

Found breakfast selection disappointing so ate very little
Staff was pleasant but with very poor service.
Restaurant on the 7th floor

Check-in / Check-out: What guests say
View Avani Sukhumvit Bangkok Hotel33 relevant reviews
Check-in experiences were mixed: some guests praised quick, friendly service and early or late checkout accommodations, while others waited hours for rooms despite arriving at or after the stated time. Long queues and slow processing recurred. Unexpected deposits—often 500 THB, sometimes more—and delayed refunds caused unease; guests also reported keycards being disabled before checkout and poor handling of the error.

But after a while, we went back to our room, showered, and got dressed to go outside, when we came back the keycard did not work again, but this time we couldn't even use the lift, so we had to wait and notify the staff again
Originally booked a large double bed and informed the hotel of my arrival time in advance. However, upon arrival at three o'clock, I was told that I would have to wait until five o'clock for a large double bed.
I paid for the accommodation at check-in upon arrival, but had to pay a deposit as well. The deposit was refunded at check-out, but does that mean I wasn't trusted? I felt a bit uneasy about that.

We asked for extended check out time which they provided but then the key didn't work on the door so someone had to stay in the room as they locked us out of the room.
After 2 hours of waiting, suddenly a man with a wheelchair arrived along with a lady from the reception with the information that they actually had vacant rooms and would take us there now.
In the morning, we asked at the reception for an extension of our stay, as our return flight was at 9 PM and one of us was still in a terrible condition.

We booked 4 rooms, which were scattered across different floors, and the room cards only allowed access to the floor of one's own room, causing great inconvenience when assisting elderly guests.
Arrived at 12pm, unfortunately I have to wait till 2pm at the lobby as my room was not ready yet which is unavoidable as the standard check in time was 12pm.
We booked a room for 3 nights, on the last day at the hotel our room keycard was locked, we couldn't get into our room or use the lift

We sat on the couch, I bought a blanket in the shopping mall in the meantime, and we heard that we could not sit like that because we couldn't.
During check-in, after I emphasized and reminded them, I discovered that one room forgot to set up the extra bed, and another room forgot to arrange two single beds.
When I was checking in the guy at reception was insisting that I give him my credit card details in case we used the minibar in the room.

They managed to get our room ready before check in which was a HUGE positive to us as we’d been travelling for 24 hours and needed to sleep!
After our long-haul flight, we were very happy with the warm welcome from Mind and that she was able to give us our room early in the morning.
Even though they state check in from 2pm, we had to wait till 4.30pm for one of our rooms - annoying after a long, tiring flight.

They collect a cash deposit to be returned asap at the end of you wait a week to 10 days for it in a credit card.
They kept sending emails every day for about a week asking me to make a payment and threatening to cancel the booking if I didn’t
We had to go down to ask the staff, they told us that it was probably a mistake as they thought we had checked out

The unexpected security deposit, you will be asked to deposit 500 Baht but it's not an issue if you do some studying beforehand
I refused again and explained that the last time I did that my credit card was maxed out in less than 12 hours.
The check in process was very very slow which was frustrating to everyone standing in line - so that can be greatly improved.

We had a late check-out for about 2600THB, but I think that price is a bit too high for just 3 hours.
When we arrived back, they had the perfect room available for us and already had our bags dropped off to the room.
We appreciated having luggage storage and being able to take a shower after check-out before our late departure to the airport.

I wish they had responded more quickly since it was late at night and we had a baby.
We specify our check in time and the room wasn't ready for a while after check in.
I paid that and then he asked if he could swipe my credit card anyway.

When I refused he said I could pay a 500 baht cash deposit instead.
Better if they say 3 hrs, then we can do something while waiting.
The lobby is small, and check-in and check-out take a bit long.

Transport: What guests say
View Avani Sukhumvit Bangkok Hotel19 relevant reviews
The hotel is repeatedly described as directly beside or connected to On Nut BTS, making city travel convenient; a nearby mall adds food options such as McDonald’s and Starbucks. It is several stops from central areas, and some destinations take longer by train. After midnight, guests may need a taxi, and the direct BTS passage reportedly closes after 10 p.m. One guest warned against the hotel’s free airport taxi, citing drivers who tried to cheat them.

2. The BTS station On Nut is directly connected to the department store at exit 3, and the hotel is right next door, making transportation convenient. Inside the building, there's a small department store with McDonald's and Starbucks, as well as some restaurants to eat at.
The taxi from the airport to the hotel was a free perk from the hotel and it was bad; better to pay and take a reliable taxi rather than drivers who try to cheat and steal
You have to wait to take a taxi to reach the complexes since the train takes a long route to get to the complexes, but returning to the hotel is easier by train

The hotel is right next to the SkyTrain and Metro and three or four stops into the busy shopping area or party areas in Asok or Nana.
Hotel is easy to access from BTS sky train station directly outside and is only five stops from downtown Bangkok.
I also didnt like that after 10:00 pm the direct passage from the bts station and the hotel is closed.

Also, the subway is right across the street so it made it getting around the city a lot easier.
Easy to get around with the BTS that is connected to the hotel.
Easy to access the bts but onnut bts kinda far, take grab

Also kinda expensive because is far to reach each destination.
Very close, in fact connected to the BTS.
After midnight, plan for a taxi to return.

Also next to On Nut sky train station.
Right on sky train stop so very convenient.
BTS (Train) is also attached to the mall.

So everything was around 40 min drive.
Proximity to the BTS for transportation;
Close to BTS transport link.

Close to the BTS.
Convenient for getting around.
Next to public transport.

Short distance to BTS.
We got a taxi.

Gym: What guests say
View Avani Sukhumvit Bangkok Hotel19 relevant reviews
Guests generally found the gym good, clean, and well maintained, with some calling it well equipped. However, opinions on size varied: it was described as small for the hotel, while another review called it large but noted limited machine options. Some guests wanted more equipment, and one mentioned old mats.

I found it was such a good size and could’ve fitted a cable machine And a few more pieces of functional equipment like balls and kettle bells, etc.
4. The gym and swimming pool are free to use, and they're great for taking photos or exercising.
I wish there was more equipment in the gym as a couple.

The gym mats in the gym are a bit old ...
The gym is quite small as well as the swimming pool.
Decent gym, excellent staff, top spa and fantastic breakfast buffet

The gym is small for the size of the hotel.
Either the gym and pool there I’d stay again.
The gym was really good for a hotel gym.

Gym is large but with limited machine options.
Gym and swimming pool are well maintained.
With a large gym and comfortable beanbags.

The gym is very well equipped.
Very happy with ... the gym.
The gym is also clean.

Nice pool and gym.
Breakfast, rooms, gym
Gym available.

Great gym
Good gym

We used the price difference of the room to treat ourselves to Thai massages. During our five-day, four-night trip, we went to Relax Place on 3F for massages for four consecutive nights; it was truly a pleasure for both body and mind!
I had without a doubt the best massage in Thailand and in my life.
I felt so relaxed afterwards and it’s like I did a good stretching session.

Hotel 9/F Spa has Thai massage THB 1,400 / 60 mins.
Cherry on the cake is their SPA centre.
We also used the spa; really recommended.

Top spa and fantastic breakfast buffet
I’d highly recommend their signature massage.
Spa at 9/F

And a spa.
