The air conditioning is extremely poor despite attempts to repair it

The room was dirty and smells very bad and it has flys, the AC is not the good at night the room got warm

Water pressure in bathroom is aweful

The rooms are very spacious and clean.

The hotel suffers from significant service issues, staff who appear disengaged and unhappy—particularly in the restaurant—inconsistent housekeeping, outdated rooms, and a very poor dining experience.

A very bad experience. The hotel furniture is worn out and old, and it does not deserve five stars. The plasma TV is about ten years old.

My guest and I felt so hot that we had to cut short our discussion.

They made me pay twice for the night of the 23rd August and they promised they will pay my money back but up to now still no response

Alisha is the best receptionist for we have ever met from all hotels in Dubai, her smile and attitude always makes us happy to extend 1 more day daily:) we appreciate how she was caring during our stay.

The hotel appears to be severely understaffed. Employees seem overwhelmed and exhausted, which clearly affects the level of service. This is a management issue, not a reflection of the staff’s effort.

An Indian employee opened the room door while we were inside using a master key.

Housekeeping was also inconsistent and only attended my room after I called to request the service.

The location is fantastic—you can reach the metro within a 1-minute walk, and Al Ghurair mall and Reef Mall are just a short stroll away.

The location is a huge plus. No more than 10 minutes from DXB Airport.

The location was not too bad, there were beaches nearby (around 15 minute taxi ride) and a metro station where the metro had stops at most tourist attraction. But if you want to take a taxi and drive, there is a bit of traffic usually so it takes a while to go the usual tourist attractions (30 mins+).

and the nightclub music downstairs rattles on until well after 03.30am. It was somewhat irritating.

Breakfast from 6:30 to 10:30 was varied: fruit—sliced watermelon, melon, and pineapple; whole apples; bananas; various kinds of cheese; nuts: cashews, walnuts, and almonds; seeds; dried fruit: prunes, raisins, dried apricots, and more. At least five chefs prepare pancakes and omelets in front of you. There is a variety of sliced meats and vegetables, side dishes such as potatoes, rice, beans, and cabbage, assorted pastries, and delicious natural soft drinks. Everything was available throughout breakfast, and if something ran out when there were many guests, it would reappear shortly afterward.

Breakfast service is very poorly managed. Tables are not cleaned, and basic utensils such as forks and knives are often missing. Eggs must be ordered separately, and the wait time is unreasonable. On one occasion, I waited 40 minutes without receiving my order and eventually left the breakfast area without eating.

The breakfast, which used to be the best thing about the hotel, has declined significantly in quality. The pastries are not fresh and there is very little of them. They have practically removed the cheeses, the salmon, the ham... quite poor.

Breakfast is good if your Indian, otherwise you will struggle as you are served Dall and Dosa’s on daily basis.

There was no lift from the parking floor to the ground floor, which meant we had to carry our luggage up the stairs.

The reception and corridor area was very hot.

The hotel is being redecorated. Is work in progress.

The smells in the corridors are very bad. There are unpleasant odors, and there is no good air freshener.

We checked in on the 30th of December 2023. We were checked in late after 830pm when we arrived at the hotel at 3pm. There were no rooms ready to check into.

Check in process (took me almost two hours)

The check in time is at 3 pm (too late as most of the hotels check in time is at 2 pm), and then we were only given the room key cards by 3:30 pm as the rooms aren't ready yet.

Check-In staff Kevi, welcomed us with a smile, and processed check-in smoothly.

The pool is heated, with a depth of 60 cm for children and 1.2 m to 2.5 m for adults. It is clean and on the sunny side of the hotel, on the fourth floor; the fifth and sixth floors shelter it from the wind.

The pool size is big however, they should have made the 4-5 feet pool area bigger rather than the 7-8 feet area as the 4-5 feet is the average height for most people so it was swamped by crowd, and no one is in the 7-8 feet area of the pool. You can barely swim in the 4-5 feet area.

All the sun loungers by the pool are damaged; there are no cushions (like the ones in the pictures)! The towels are worn out too. An annoying argument with the pool attendant if you want a second towel.

I could not use the swimming pool as they told me is under maintenance and not operational.

If you're considering booking half board, I would advise against it. The weekday dinner offering was extremely basic, with very limited choice and quality that did not reflect a five-star hotel.

we reserved the room with half board were usually we take dinner in Spice land restaurant, we were shocked that the restaurant was closed due to renovation and the alternative restaurant was poor !!

Since I spent most of my time in the room, I frequently ordered in-room dining, but unfortunately, the food quality was disappointing. I would rate it one star, as the dishes were either overly salty or excessively oily, even something as simple as an egg.

The food and refreshments are excellent, but I would like to see more vegan options.

There is no elevator from the parking area to the hotel, requiring guests to use stairs. This is extremely inconvenient if you have luggage or a sleeping child

Good Value for Money! Green Line metro is at your doorstep

Close to the airport (but in an area with very bad traffic).

Only after a few days we found out we can get the hotel to pre-book a taxi.

— The parking area has no elevator to the reception or rooms, only stairs. This is bad because some guests are elderly or injured, making it difficult to go up and down.

Valet parking stops at 12:00 AM. After that, guests must park on their own.

The parking area needs a map to find it, and you have to use stairs with no elevator.

There was no access to steam room nor jacuzzi for me that was advertised on the website.
