      It's an oasis of calm in the big city and everything about it feels soothing and easy.
      What I like the most about COMO is that it has this boutique hotel atmosphere (stepping away from large hotels), and the service from its staff is much more personalized than other hotels in big 5-star chains.
      Hotel is being renovated soon as a little dated in places.
      Great hotel, but not for pool, spa, or breakfast.

      Every single staff member I interacted with was incredibly friendly, helpful, and attentive—I honestly don’t have better words to describe them.
      A special mention goes to the concierge team, who arranged a fantastic private guided day trip to Maeklong Railway Market and the old and new weekend floating markets, including a dedicated van and private longtail boat.
      The staff lacks enthusiasm and doesn’t seem engaged. They all keep their heads down and avoid eye contact with guests, except for the greeter I mentioned earlier.
      The doorman broke the retractable rolling handle of our suitcase, either when He took it out of the back of the taxi (Necessitating the purchase of a replacement) or by using it to lift the case up the steps, instead of using the solid handle near by.... (Making me very grumpy)

      The room's spacious and comfortable and modern.
      The bed was comfy and large, and loved the 2X cleaning and turn down service. I can also say the shower was the best shower I've ever experienced in a hotel. I felt like I was in a spa, and loved it.
      I did notice quite a bit of ants in my room.
      The window was small to begin with (not floor to ceiling), and there was a wall right in front blocking about 75% of the area so the room was dark for obvious reasons.

      The breakfast is amazing, with cooked to order options plus an excellent buffet with high quality choices including fresh meats, cheeses, juices and pastries that change daily.
      On top of that, the whole entire team at breakfast was impressive and impeccable, very attentive, very engaging, they remember your preferences of tea or coffee, even some smaller details.
      Breakfast options were really limited and almost the same everyday so it’s quite boring.
      Food ordered off the breakfast menu takes too long even when they are not busy. More often than not it come out cold or near cold which is off-putting.

      The hotel is a short walk to Sala Daeng Rd with many excellent restaurants and less than 10 minutes walk to Lumpini Park, and Silom Rd for the BTS and MRT.
      Great location - lots of options within walking distance for food, shopping, browsing, and close to Metro (10 min or so), and SkyTrain (15 min or so).
      If you are going to Bangkok as a tourist I would recommend finding a hotel much closer to the Palace, the river and all the things you are actually going to want to see.
      The location is a bit confusing and inconvenient, especially if you’re planning to walk or use the subway.

      The pool is huge and we mostly had it to ourselves, not to mention the steam room and changing facilities were top notch.
      The pool area is lovely and well serviced by staff who refreshed our drinking water and ensured every need was met.
      The pool water temperature was freezing, and since the pool area is shaded, I was never hot enough to feel the need for such a cold plunge.

      The spa seemed very nice even though we did not use it (but did love their spa bathroom containing a plunge pool and sauna).
      I got a back massage and half the time was spent on my legs, cheeks, hair...my intention was quite clear when I booked a back massage.
      Unfortunately the spa was full.
