    The hotel has 2 buildings on either side of the road and there is someone responsible for stopping traffic with a flag to allow safe crossing.
    The swimming pool is large and nice but under a roof and there is little space for sunbathing.
    The floor tiles in the shower were extremely slippery and dangerous.
    We had to ask someone every time after using the toilet to make it usable again, as the flush only worked once and then not again; this is very inconvenient and was already a problem last year.

    There is a free tuk tuk service that takes you to and from Emporium Mall near to Phrom Phong station and this was very convenient since the hotel is quite a distance from the nearest BTS.
    We got the shuttle there...however there was a 45 minute wait for them to come back early afternoon.
    Traffic is extremely congested in this area.

    The Florae restaurant was flawless; we ended up dining there several times.
    The hustle and bustle in the dining room feels more like a train station than a 5-star hotel.
    But the coffee at the restaurant — which is the same coffee served in the rooms — is honestly terrible.

    One of the best equipped gyms I’ve seen at a hotel.
    The gym is excellent, even with a machine for doing squats (rare).
    It quickly became apparent that it was poorly maintained, with dirt on the floor, sweat stains on equipment, and a lack of cleaning supplies for users.
    The gym aircon - we couldn't get this working so it was hot and stuffy in there.
