Reviews repeatedly praise the convenient location, cleanliness, comfortable rooms, friendly staff, strong breakfast, and especially value for money, with many guests willing to return. Recurring reservations are that the property feels dated or below its advertised star category; some mention room odor, minimal toiletries, and annex rooms across the street without reception.

The hotel has 2 buildings; being in the first one, which does not have a pool or bar/restaurant or reception and is separated from the second by a road, made us feel more isolated than those in the second building.
The overall experience was very disappointing to be honest, as I was there for long stay and expected a high standard of service being a 5 star hotel but unfortunately it was very disappointing.
This was the only hotel that took a deposit from the credit card of about a third of the room cost and would return it only in two weeks

The hotel overall was very clean, it looks like a new hotel, the breakfast was amazing and there was various of options, we really enjoyed the hotel.
The hotel consists of two buildings; I stayed in the second building and unfortunately there is a large bar at the entrance of the building
Everything is literally beautiful: comfort, cleanliness, the kindness and friendliness of the staff, and the food is fantastic, delicious, and suitable for Muslims.

I wouldn’t stay there again in the future as I don’t see how all these things that I’ve mentioned will get resolved.
The stay was great, and I have a trip to Thailand in a few days, and I booked the same hotel.
Spacious room, great toiletries in the bathroom, comfortable bed, mini-bar, really cool pool, pleasant scents everywhere (in the elevator, corridor).

This was my second visit and will come back again as this is now my favorite hotel in Bangkok
We really had a wonderful time and Valia felt like home to us by the end of our trip.
From the moment we arrived, the hotel felt incredibly welcoming — a perfect blend of luxury and comfort.

Barring these two, the hotel is magnificent and as I said, we look forward to staying here again.
Nice hotel, recent, well-equipped, with an excellent breakfast, downside is to choose a room with a view!
I will never stay in another hotel again 😌 thoroughly enjoyed every single bit of this place

If you're looking for a clean place at a good price, don't go anywhere but this hotel.
The main thing is that we slept well until 8 AM and had a delicious breakfast.
I loved that fresh coconuts were available on demand in every part of the hotel!! :)

Over all staying in this hotel made my vacation wonderful and hoping I can visit again.
They had a shuttle to nearby mall which is nice but we didn’t use it.
Huge rooms (we had the option of two connecting rooms for a family of 2+2).

Exactly what we hoped for no complaints , Great Hotel foe short stay in Bangkok.
Exceptional structure and super welcoming and very kind staff, very good and varied breakfast
My stay was amazing and I definitely recommend staying here again in the future.

The view was stunning, the staff were so friendly and great value for money.
The hotel consists of two buildings. Initially, our room was in building 2 and I didn't like the smell, the room, or the view in that building even though it was large. However, the staff were very cooperative and moved us to the first building where the rooms and views are nicer.
The hotel is very clean, the rooms are new, and it's far from the Arab Street, but they take you to the train station and you can go to Arab Street if you want. I recommend it for those looking for an upscale, clean hotel at a reasonable price.

Everything was beautiful, the place was clean, even the breakfast buffet was nice. I recommend that you book with breakfast, but for friends, you might struggle with the curtain between the bathroom and the room. It’s a different place, comfortable, but somewhat lacking in degree.
Everything is beautiful about this hotel, and I strongly recommend it for families. If you want something clean, the most important thing is that when you book, you should inform the hotel that you want to be in the same area as the main lobby.
At first, we were assigned to that building, and I discussed with management about changing our rooms due to our inability to stay in that building; they appreciated our concern and changed our rooms to ones that, although smaller, are in the main building.

Rooms: What guests say
View Valia Bangkok Sukhumvit 24 by Kingston Hotels1,422 relevant reviews
Rooms are repeatedly praised as spacious, comfortable, attractive, and often clean, with large bathrooms, balconies, city views, washing machines, and family suites with bunk beds. Recurring concerns include traffic and thin-wall noise, inconsistent housekeeping, occasional odors, dated areas, misleading room/building or view expectations, and some maintenance issues.

The rooms aesthetic was top notch and beautiful; however the walls are thin and at times I could hear my neighbors conversations (granted they were shouting); however, even walking through the hallway I could hear the faint sounds of people talking at a normal level in their rooms.
I had booked two connected rooms, and it was stated that each room is 50 square meters, but in reality, they are much smaller than what was written, which made me lose trust in the hotel and feel a sense of deception.
Originally was not given the room specification we booked however when we approached the Reception Desk to change the room to the one we actually booked, they changed the room for us which we appreciated very much.

The only thing I had an issue with was while I booked 3 rooms 1 jr suite and 2 superior rooms 1 superior room was larger than the other and also had a balcony.
There was a constant sound (no idea where it came from) in my room which kept me up several times at night and the view to the car park was also not great.
Room was on floor above a Club, floor was vibrating due to loud music, we had to ask to change room (with no little stress as we travelled and already unpacked everything)

I requested extra blankets, and they brought them to me, but every day after cleaning, they take them away and I have to call them to bring them back every day.
The room was not only not professionally cleaned, and most importantly, there was a very unpleasant odor in the room and at the entrance of the building, almost like sewage smell.
After the first day, we noticed that there was a strange burning smell in our room; after reporting this, we were immediately assigned another room on the same floor.

In the lower floor of the other building, there was a club from which the bass could be heard up to the 8th floor, which was disturbing at night🤨
The whole process from finding the water on the floor to moving all our belongings next door & putting all our belongings away took a couple of hours.
When I returned, the room had been cleaned but the light was not fixed and the toiletries had not been replenished, so I had nothing to wash with.

Some room fixtures were broken and you have to ask for any utensil etc as the room is not equipped with basic plates forks and spoons etc.
Overall, we liked everything. We wanted a room with a view of the city, but we got one on the 13th floor (view of a gas station).
I stayed the first two days on the 8th floor.. there were cockroaches everywhere and the bed was uncomfortable, you feel the springs hurting your back..

I did not like my room being in a separate tower away from the main hotel, as I had to cross the street for everything.
Additionally, the room is kept tidy and stocked with materials as long as we remember to give reminders for the staff to clean our room.
The shower drain was not functioning properly and the shower cabin did not seal well... the bathroom literally filled with water every time I showered!

The refrigerator focuses on appearance, but its capacity is quite small and it doesn't work well. This is quite inconvenient in a hot country.
The hotel is beautiful, and what I liked the most is that the room is very tidy, spacious, and really beautiful, with amazing decor.
In the morning, around 4-5 AM, the room started to smell like food, as if it was being cooked right in the room.

When we entered the second room, a man - obviously a staff member - was still sitting in the room. That was surprising.
But then I talked to them, renewed the reservation and they changed my room to the new building, the room is fabulous
The air conditioning unit in our room began screaming in the middle of the night and disturbed us for around 3 hours.

Shower instructions were added to our shower cubicle on the day before we left but was simple enough to operate without them.
I ordered room service on my 1st evening as it was late after a long flight, it took over 90mins to arrive and I had several confusing contradictory calls over an hour after I ordered asking if my food arrived (which it hadn't). When the food arrived it was mediocre but I was so hungry and tired by that stage I just gave up.
The hotel’s sound insulation needs improvement. There is a very nice bar downstairs from my hotel, which caused the heavy bass vibrations from the bar to transmit to my pillow on the fifth floor at night. I found it very difficult to fall asleep every night, as I could clearly feel the rhythmic vibrations of the heavy bass while lying in bed.

I made sure to pay a bit more for a suite that met my expectations (Deluxe Suite with access to the Club Lounge), the room was just as shown in the pictures, a large window with views and a spacious bathroom, the bed was very comfortable, and you had a small minibar for making coffee and tea.
Additionally, there is a window from the bathroom to the room. This is great when there is one person in the room, but when there are more people, it's strange))) the window can be covered, but if someone goes to the bathroom at night and turns on the light, it also lights up the room.
I didn't like the view even though I paid extra for the suite; it's not like in the pictures. There's a building across from you, so you can't open the curtain. In short, the picture was misleading; a regular room is the same. It's a waste of money.

Staff: What guests say
View Valia Bangkok Sukhumvit 24 by Kingston Hotels1,248 relevant reviews
Reviews overwhelmingly describe friendly, professional, attentive staff who often go beyond expectations, including luggage storage, medical assistance, room changes, birthday surprises, and group arrangements. Arabic-speaking employees are appreciated. Recurring drawbacks include inconsistent front-desk warmth, occasional English communication difficulties, forgotten towels, slow maintenance response, and inconsistent help bringing deliveries upstairs.

To really be a 5*, more hospitality training, whether housekeeping (not replenishing items/cleaning up soap stains), dining (bringing and standing with the bill at poolside, without clearing away dishes) or front desk (responding to me that some people would like a view of the car park!!) is required by staff at all levels.
Mid way through eating breakfast, we were asked to pay and when asked to sign it to the room, their computer broke down and I was asked to wait for 20 minutes before asked to sign a piece of paper.
And I thank the breakfast restaurant staff, all of them, especially minto mild and sand, the staff is respectful and helpful, and there is a lot of halal food with the presence of a Lebanese chef

Staff were not aware of benefits that Booking.com tier members might be provided with, this is also the first hotel that didnt provide either a room upgrade or complimentary breakfast when booking with Booking.com.
When I was checking out, I went to grab one of the complimentary waters and the hotel staff reached for my arm and told me I wasn't allowed to have it.
The only reception staff member who showed to be a 5-star hotel employee was the driver of the hotel/shopping/hotel transfer, whom I also met at the reception.. his name is Coco..

The concierge is available day and night, which is very convenient, as we had to leave very early in the morning for an excursion (woke up at 4 AM).
Professor Samir is wonderful in his reception and his dealings, and his very refined service to the hotel guests with his manners and politeness, and fulfilling his promises.
5- It is very difficult to communicate with the staff because they do not speak English well, and communication with them is done through a translation app

The staff and the reception team, both inside and outside the hotel, are very respectful, kind, and well-mannered, always smiling and ready to help you with anything.
While we were out for the day, the hotel staff left a slice of birthday cake, note and small birthday decortaions in this student's room.
Would like to mention Best and all the Reception staff ,as she had a warm smile , and Ready to help.even with late check out.

The exceptional welcome from Miguel, who was very attentive to our expectations and offered solutions that were very suited to each of our needs.
The hotel wanted to be 5-star but did not have the knowledge to be so. Everyone meant well but did not have the skills.
They showed high professionalism during a national crisis (earthquake) and were highly competent to manage the situation and make sure everyone was safe.

The receptionist charged us the fee again upon our arrival even though it had already been paid in advance through the Booking app
I decided to look on my phone and I find the same he is offering, 27% lower so I booked it myself.
The hotel is new and the staff is good, but they do not speak English very well, only one employee knows English.

I would specifically like to mention Moudi and Bassam, as they speak Arabic and helped us a lot with the services.
I tried many time as they have the rooms and can control it but the rather to put it on booking
Clean beautifully designed warm welcoming staff that couldn’t do enough to make sure my stay was relax of memorable .

Thank you for making our stay enjoyable and helping with booking taxis .You are a great asset to the Hotel.
I will be honest, the service of the reception was not as expected were they were confused during my check-in.
The staff were very cooperative and moved us to the first building where the rooms and views are nicer.

The accommodation and service were good, and the entire staff is helpful, especially one Lebanese person who speaks Arabic.
The hospitality from the staff is great, and the hotel offers a delicious breakfast that is very suitable for Arabs, especially Muslims. The chef is Lebanese and he serves many halal options that cater to our tastes. Additionally, the location is excellent, situated on a classy and beautiful street with Seven Art, Starbucks, and massage shops nearby. The hotel is very clean and has a very high level of security for families. The soundproofing of the rooms and the facilities are very good.
Staff in the restaurant and club lounge extremely helpful, as was the concierge - Hassam (!spelling) the executive chef was exceptional, he helped to show me how to get coffee and was then busy clearing tables on the 1st morning I took breakfast as it was busy - he asked about the food and that's when I learned his role.

The hotel staff left a deep impression on me. On the first night of my stay, I forgot some of my luggage in a Grab taxi, and many of the hotel staff were very enthusiastic in helping me resolve the issue. They quickly helped me retrieve my lost items that evening, and I am very grateful for their efficiency.
When we arrived, they asked for a deposit of 3,000 baht (about 300 riyals) which would be deducted if we used the mini-bar or some services. Of course, I refused to give it to them and said I didn't want anything or the mini-bar, and as for room service, they took everything out of the fridge
Last but not least... The level of English of some of the staff is not up to par, which caused me a dispute during check out because my initial payment simply did not show up, and the receptionist would not let me leave, risking me missing my flight, which created quite a bit of friction.

Breakfast: What guests say
View Valia Bangkok Sukhumvit 24 by Kingston Hotels933 relevant reviews
Breakfast is repeatedly praised for its variety, quality, fresh preparation, halal and dietary options, with some guests calling it outstanding. However, the buffet is often crowded, with insufficient seating and queues, especially late morning. Recurring criticisms include mediocre or unreplenished food, repetitive menus, Asian-leaning choices, flies outdoors, and high prices.

On the last day, we could not have our breakfast in the restaurant because there were too many people. They offered us to have it in their bar on the 6th floor, but there were many fewer options.
We had an 'early breakfast' when we left early in the morning, maybe we could have the option to customize it, because we all have different tastes and food cultures as well :)
During breakfast, it was somewhat 'hectic' as many staff members were bustling around and sometimes even wanted to clear away the plate you were still eating from, in their eagerness.

Pay for breaks fast service they didn’t have room for so many guest took forever on bringing the order like 1 hor for some eggs and coffee.
You are directed to your table and a 'reserved' sign is immediately placed, so you can grab your first cup of coffee without any issues.
You can see the chef apologizing for the wait at breakfast and he was the only nice and professional person in the whole place.

We liked the breakfast because it had a wide variety of options so each morning we could eat something a little different.
The breakfast is varied and has many items suitable for Arabs and Muslims, and there is a decent and respectable Lebanese chef.
I would have liked to see a little variation from one day to the next in the food items at breakfast.

It's honestly suitable, and there's a buffet that caters to Muslims, with halal options, and the food is delicious, frankly.
The breakfast is delicious and includes fava beans; there are also halal options, which is a plus for them.
In my opinion, there were too many warm dishes and too few options to, for example, top a roll/toast.

Different information about purchasing breakfast between the concierge and when we made a phone call to the concierge
We have to wait in que for the breakfast and shifted to 6 floor most of the time.
Excellent breakfast service with a wide selection, relaxed atmosphere, and warm care from the kitchen and service staff.

The breakfast was varied, and Chef Omar is attentive to the guests' opinions and personally oversees breakfast
# People had to line up and wait to have breakfast. The restaurant was way too small.
One of the best breakfast services for variety, quality, and even aesthetics I have ever seen

Upon arrival, we are asked to fill out a form to choose drinks and various options.
Breakfast very disappointing and the same with room service, Very expensive for the service that’s provided.
Staff member Joe, who seems to be in charge? Thank you for the wonderful service.

Good breakfast, although you had to wait a moment for a table during peak hours.
If you come for late breakfast be prepared that you might wait for a table.
The free breakfast buffet was amazing with a huge selection of all kinds of options.

The breakfast is good and finishes at 11, which is great rather than 10.
The breakfast is not varied and is repetitive, especially the baked goods and cakes, and there is no variety in cake flavors like muffins with different flavors, nor is there even their special Thai bread 'roti', and sometimes there are no Arabic halal items like foul, white cheese, or falafel, despite having an Arab chef.
Breakfast - a very large selection of Thai cuisine (including soups, steamed dumplings, rice and rice noodle dishes) as well as European dishes (e.g., the option to order poached eggs, fried eggs cooked to different levels, etc.), fresh and dried fruits, a children's food corner.

Breakfast has a variety of types including several kinds of bread, fresh fruits, breakfast-style dishes, and a selection of freshly made eggs. There are also dim sum, fried rice, congee, Thai food, and noodles. There are about six types of drinks to choose from.
On the last day, due to an early flight, we asked for a takeaway breakfast: the box contained a dry croissant, two mini sweet rolls, and a juice box; we had used this option earlier in other places and it looked much better.
The breakfast was the most chaotic and stressful I have ever experience.. you have to wait forever in the hall because there is not enough seating space for everyone and when you are given a table you can’t barely pass to sit.

Location: What guests say
View Valia Bangkok Sukhumvit 24 by Kingston Hotels857 relevant reviews
Guests frequently praise the convenient area, nearby shops and restaurants, and walkable BTS/MRT access, typically around 10–17 minutes, with a free shuttle available. However, the hotel can be far from major tourist sights and shopping districts, while heavy traffic, busy streets, and occasional road noise are recurring drawbacks.

The location is excellent – the hotel is about 10 minutes from Beit Elishva, the community center of the Chabad community in Bangkok, and about 15 minutes from the kosher restaurants JCafe (meat and dairy).
The hotel is (a bit) far from the Arab gathering places and their restaurants, but there is a shuttle that takes you to the nearest BTS station and the malls around it.
The location is slightly decentralized, but the shuttle service, which runs every 15 minutes, makes it easy to reach nearby malls or the metro station 900 meters away on foot.

While the hotel isn’t located right in the city centre, it’s only a short distance away, and transport is convenient enough that it doesn’t detract from the experience.
The location is a bit far from the malls and there is always heavy traffic around the hotel area, which takes time to get to another place.
I heard there is a building next to the main building; I recommend the main building for easier access to breakfast and for check-in and check-out

But it is close to Emporium Market, and there is a hotel tuk-tuk that takes you to and from the market approximately every fifteen minutes.
Not located next to train station either so we had no option other than to walk 30 minutes in the heat to get anywhere.
Location was good and had the shuttle service to Emporium and you can catch the phrom phom BTS if looking for public transport.

Our 1st night my view was a parking lot and I could see or hear people. I kept my curtains closed all times.
The location of the hotel is generally okay, but it can take a long time by taxi to reach the famous temples.
The hotel is located in a street of high end hotels, there is not much to do around apart shopping luxurious brands.

Probably the location but it was our first few nights of the holiday so we weren’t too familiar with Bangkok yet
There is nothing, perhaps the sounds from the streets on the weekend reach the rooms overlooking the city, but only slightly.
When we reached there , they tried to give us rooms in another building and had to cross the road.

Be careful, it gets very loud in Tower 1 on weekends, as there is a club/bar on the ground floor.
We were accommodated in a separate building and had to walk over to the main building all the time.
Location not as great compared to some other hotels which are nearer to the main road and shopping district.

Otherwise location is really great, a short 17 min walk to the subway and some main shopping place.
The location, although close to one of the main streets in Bangkok, was far from the tourist attractions
The windows of the room for 4000 baht per day overlooked almost directly onto a multi-level parking lot.

Area of the hotel is about 30min drive from the likes of main temples or riverside market.
It is also located very close to the convention centre and popular shopping malls, like emporium etc.
Good location, the hotel also offers a free tuk tuk shuttle drop off to main touristy areas.

While the hotel is very centrally located, the traffic volume right outside hotel is not desirable!
Important things that don't work are the noise level - they opened the hotel while many floors and neighboring properties are under noisy construction - I woke up at 8:00 AM to the sound of a hammer, and it could be heard all day in the pool area - completely unacceptable - I cut my stay short after 2 days when I had booked for 8 days.
I had explicitly requested, and even received confirmation back from the Hotel that "We have noted your request for a room with a beautiful view of the city" - what I got was a view of a car park which to add further disappointment, overlooked a car scrap yard.

If your trip to Bangkok is to do major shopping spree at major malls in Bangkok (like Siam Paragon, ICON Siam, BKK, Centralworld and others), the hotel may be a bit far away for your convenience to carry back major hauls to the hotel.
There aren't many dining options beyond what the hotels offer and yes, there are bars but if you want to experience a varied dining scene I think Silom could be an excellent area to go to or take a taxi and go :)
The adjoining car dealer is seen from some of the room windows has littered their backyard with discarded car parts which is an eye sore but I understand the hotel can't be blamed for an property which is not under their control.

Facilities: What guests say
View Valia Bangkok Sukhumvit 24 by Kingston Hotels428 relevant reviews
Facilities are generally attractive, clean, and well equipped, with a large pool, strong gym, excellent breakfast, restaurant, shuttle, and memorable chocolate service. However, rooms may be in a separate building requiring road crossings, while recurring concerns include slippery showers, unreliable toilets, worn towels, slow elevators, and occasional cleanliness or maintenance issues.

Shower products - the only aspect that doesn't meet the cost-performance expectation; the refillable ones are brand-less and difficult to use, I went to a convenience store to buy something else on the second day, I recommend bringing your own when you check in!
Similarly, the hotel actually has two buildings (Valia 1 and Valia 2) that you have to move between to go from the room to breakfast or to the pool and cross the road each time.
They do not ensure that all the things are working like the refrigerator, the TV remote, and the only Arabic channel is not clear and cuts off every minute.

We had laundry done for 3 days for two people and they charged us 80 dollars, considering that the night costs 100, it seemed like a rip-off.
The 2 small tubes of bathing soap that was provided daily in this hotel wasn’t enough and I ended up buying my own shower gel.
The fact that you have to cross the street and go back through the hotel lobby to get to the pool or the gym.

The shower in the bathroom is poorly positioned, as you cannot stand under it due to a fixed chair directly beneath it.
The hotel has two separate buildings; you have to cross the street to access the breakfast services and the pool.
We were sent across the road, away from the pool facilities and also the individuals we were travelling with.

The hotel consists of two buildings facing each other, but there is someone there to help you cross.
The hotel consists of two buildings; we stayed in one building, and breakfast was in another building.
It was super dark black and red painted, dim lighting with more of an intimate setting.

The pool was not very impressive so we only used it once during the stay.
The hotel is clean, the service is excellent, and the breakfast is diverse and delicious.
We arrived and sat down and were presented with a beautiful birdcage of snacks.

And the laundry rates published is not what the Hotel charges for laundry services.
The hotel offered us an upgrade if we booked more nights with them
They have two Towers. One no pool. So be aware where you book.

Everything was perfect in terms of facilities, comfort, and quality of accommodation
The main building and common areas are modern and well maintained.
Took a 6k deposit without asking me still not returned it.

The room service was amazing too, very quick and lovely food!
They have a bus that goes to a nearby mall
The house keeping didnt make a good job in cleaning.

*The chocolate hour and the way desserts are displayed
There are 3 elevators; the one in the middle dropped my friend 13 floors at a crazy speed, and thank God he didn't crash to the ground. Afterwards, the door opened to the wall, and he used the alarm bell and the phone, and no one came to help.
Which meant that if you wanted to go to the pool, you had to exit the hotel in a bathrobe and flip-flops, crossing the busy street (in Bangkok, when you cross the street, you need to make the sign of the cross) both going and coming back.

There is a very strong smell of chemicals in the hotel. The smell of solvent, fresh paint, glue, and synthetic floor coverings permeates literally all premises (except the restaurant), and the smell is especially noticeable in the elevators and on the guest floors.
They asked us for a deposit which we tried to pay with 3 different cards, and apparently there was no way and we had to wait for them to take away the drinks from the minibar, as if we were thieves.
After valet parking, they gave us a piece of paper, and when we went to the car to get our things, the front desk could not immediately inform us of what floor the car was on, which took another 30 minutes.

Pool: What guests say
View Valia Bangkok Sukhumvit 24 by Kingston Hotels394 relevant reviews
The large sixth-floor pool is a recurring highlight, with attractive views and useful access before check-in or after checkout. However, loungers and seating are often insufficient, pool-bar service is slow and understaffed, and smoking, loud music, occasional dirt or algae, cold water, shade, and difficult access from the second building are repeated drawbacks.

The pool, gym and restaurant is in the main hotel across the road and not sutible when you go in the pool as you have to get changed in a toilet no changing rooms and are not fully dried when walking through main reception and back across the road.
I used the pool since it was open until 10, but around 10 o'clock, when we were using it, they turned off the lights without checking, even though I saw other guests using it until quite late the day before.
The pool is on the 6th floor and has a roof, so I thought it might be cold, but the water temperature wasn't too low, and we were able to enjoy the pool even on cloudy days.

It is difficult to access the pool because my room is in the opposite building, and I can only reach the pool by exiting the building and then entering the building where the pool is located.
There was no changing room for entering the pool, so I had to wear my swimsuit from the room and wrap myself in a towel when returning, which was inconvenient.
There were too few sunbeds available at the pool area; at times, we had to sit in a crowd or on the edge of the pool.

Also, if you did find a spot they were mostly in the shade, would be nice if you could also choose some sunny spots.
The pool is open from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m., and the rooftop is simply fantastic — everything you could wish for!
Additionally, there was no way to change at the pool area besides cramped restrooms - private facilities would be necessary here.

There is a small pool with a limited number of loungers, a queue is constantly forming to take them.
It's a shame that we're in another building and have to cross the street to access the pool.
There were black debris flying all over so it was a little gross to be swimming inside.

Unfortunately, the water in the pool was littered with some black particles coming off the pool edge.
The pool is only on the 8th floor, I thought to be fair it is higher.
The pool, while not heated, was bigger than expected and a relaxing spot to unwind.

The rom service did not work efficiently when you didnt stay in the main building.
The water in the pool is very dirty, swimming with black flakes in it
The water in the pool is clean, but there are some algae present.

The pool area is great and the poolside cocktails and food delicious.
Only handful of loungers by pool so no where to sit.
The pool area is all new, beautiful tile work, well maintained.

The view is nice, but there are better ones in Bangkok.
Only on the 6th floor, so very noisy. Cold water.
To the relaxed swimming pool and the fabulous breakfast spread,

Beautiful hotel with a nice pool on the 6th floor.
The pool is very big with a nice view.
The testasa with the pool is not very comfortable.

What we were most impressed with was the pool.
The pool is on one of the upper floors.
A large outdoor pool on the sixth floor.

Transport: What guests say
View Valia Bangkok Sukhumvit 24 by Kingston Hotels310 relevant reviews
The hotel is set away from Phrom Phong BTS and lacks a nearby MRT, but its free tuk-tuk/shuttle to Emporium or Emsphere malls and the BTS is frequently praised, usually every 15–30 minutes. Heavy traffic complicates taxis and some guests reported missed schedules or waits of 30–45 minutes.

It's true that the driver is delayed in arriving, but as is well known, Bangkok is usually crowded, and this is the main reason for the taxi delay; it is very important to save the hotel address on your phone because many taxi drivers do not know the address.
The hotel is somewhat out of the way from the BTS/Metro and offers a free shuttle, but the frequencies are not as high as I would like, knowing that the vehicle can only transport a maximum of 10 passengers.
Every 15 minutes and after 5 PM every 30 minutes, a shuttle bus from the hotel lobby goes to the center where you can exchange cash, transfer to the metro, or just be closer to life in Bangkok;

There is a free tuk tuk service that takes you to and from Emporium Mall near to Phrom Phong station and this was very convenient since the hotel is quite a distance from the nearest BTS.
Tuk-tuks are available every 15 minutes to Phrom Phong Station (EmQuartier Shopping Mall) from 6 AM to midnight (it’s good for traveling using MRT after taking a tuk-tuk)
Hotel shuttle to nearby sky train station is only at every hour, they could consider providing the shuttle service at at least every 30 mins.

Another positive about the hotel is the free shuttle that runs every 15 minutes to the Emsphere shopping complex, which was very convenient.
With the tuk-tuk shuttle that takes us every 15 minutes to the Emporium shopping mall or the ease of taking the BTS.
You have an organized shuttle bus to the Emporium Center that makes it easier for you to get around Bangkok.

They do run free shuttle bus to Emporium mall close to BTS Phrom phong station every 15 - 30 mins.
They have a tuk-tuk service that takes you to the mall and BTS train for free every 15 minutes.
We got the shuttle there...however there was a 45 minute wait for them to come back early afternoon.

Although there’s a free shuttle going to the nearby train station daily but still feel time pressure.
The hotel provide free shuttle to emporium mall which also was helpful sometime because of the crowded.
They should stop the service all together so the guest can take taxi of all kinds.

There is a shuttle every 15 minutes to a big mall and a train station
Golf cart taxi to the mall which leaves you very close to the main street
Also you may use a Tuktuk vehicle with a free ride from/to emperor mall.

Transfer to a nearby mall, but the mall is ordinary and has limited options
A taxi is needed for errands - it gets crowded in the afternoon.
The shuttle service time changed from every 15 minutes to 30 minutes

The shuttle service to the BTS station was super convenient for us.
We organized all rides through a local taxi app, which worked excellently.
Convenient shuttle to the metro and shopping center every 15 minutes.

We had the car with us and it was so convenient.
Plus point: Free shuttle to EmSphere Mall, just awesome 🤩
Shuttle service every 15 minutes was fantastic and very punctual.

I wait for an hour to 40 minutes most times.
I had to pay almost 1200 thaibaht for airport transfers
Good Tuk Tuk service to Emphere mall and BTS.

Check-in / Check-out: What guests say
View Valia Bangkok Sukhumvit 24 by Kingston Hotels252 relevant reviews
Recurring concerns include slow or delayed check-in, limited early check-in and late-checkout flexibility, and security deposits of 1,500–2,000 Baht per night (up to 6,000), often refunded only after 10–14 days. Some guests report smooth, friendly arrivals, luggage assistance, pool access before check-in, and appreciated early check-in when available.

When we extended to another 2 days (from 4 to 6) the hotel gave us only one hour extension for one room out of 2 rooms and asked us to pay half of the room cost if we agreed to extend to 4 pm and initially they say said to us it is fully booked and yet asked us to pay only 3 hrs for the half of the room cost which we so upset considering at time of checking in the first day they gave one of the room too late almost an hour and fifteen minutes late.
We requested to check out a few hours later if the room was not going to be used for other guests (which was the case because the hotel was quite empty), as we were returning to Spain that same day and taking an evening flight, in order to have a few more hours of rest; it would have been a nice gesture, but they are not open to these changes.
They said there was no availability at all for a late check out, but on the contrary they offered a late check out for an extra night fee, in the same suite (while there was no availability), so obviously they did not respect the conditions of the room offer, and actually they said the terms changed recently, which makes no sense as this remains in the website today.

Last but not least... The level of English of some of the staff is not up to par, which caused me a dispute during check out because my initial payment simply did not show up, and the receptionist would not let me leave, risking me missing my flight, which created quite a bit of friction.
At the checkout, they asked if we consumed something from the minibar, we honestly answered no, and they asked to wait 5min to check if we had consumed anything, even considering they were keeping our luggage and we were coming later to take it.
What I didn't like was that when I arrived at 1:30 PM, they told me to go to the second outdoor section, and that my room was there, even though I had booked in the main section.

We kindly asked for early check in few days before our arrival but they did not arrange it for us and offer different room for full price for 2,5 hours before check in time.
The only issue was that when I checked out, there was only one person at the front desk, so I had to wait quite a while, which delayed my schedule a bit.
Check-out took too long with the reception saying we had to wait while they checked our room - not what you expect from a hotel that claims to be 5 star.

When we started arguing with them that we hadn't drunk any beer and wouldn't pay, they began to put some paper in front of us for us to sign.
Even though the Hotel's page on Booking said they don't require credit cards, I was informed at check in that they did require them because it's their policy.
At the check out they asked if we used anything from mini bar and when we (truthfully) said "no" they said they need to check it anyway.

I had requested an early check in as I arrived in the morning however the hotel could not accommodate as it was subject to availability.
The hotel kept my deposit without any prior notice, and they told me that the money I kept would be refunded 2 weeks aft
I requested early check-in, and when I arrived at 11 AM, they told me it would take 4 hours to clean the room

Reversing the double charge also required several attempts, and it is still not clear whether the money will be returned at all.
Check in seemed to take forever, we stepped off a long flight, asked to sit, and it just seemed to drag out.
With it being our honey moon I’d contacted them prior to ask to the room to be decorated and it wasn’t

The check-in, confusion with the rooms; we were downgraded, then eventually upgraded, but we never got the room we booked.
We were required to pay an extra 50% deposit upfront, which would only be refunded 14 days after checkout.
I felt that the front of house staff members when checking in was slow and also when checking out.

The speed of the check-in and check-out procedures, with a staff screen, good internet service, and room cleaning service.
Check in process can be more professional - there were no sharing of facilities or about the hotel.
Slow check-in , we arrived @4pm and they ask us to wait as the room was not ready.

Our check in took us 1 hour and our check out took us 1 hour because they forgot.
At first she stammered, and then she justified that it was for the minibar and the restaurant.
Manager came, showed the paperwork, we paid and then the staff tells us it’s across the street????

Even though I had prepaid the rooms, they wanted an additional cash deposit for the minibar.
Secondly, they asked for almost the price of a hotel night for an early check-in.
Checkin/checkout staff were not very friendly and kept allowing other guest to cut in line.

Restaurant: What guests say
View Valia Bangkok Sukhumvit 24 by Kingston Hotels246 relevant reviews
The in-house restaurant is a major highlight, with repeatedly praised food, Lebanese and fusion dishes, Chef Omar, varied breakfasts, halal options, and a daily chocolate buffet. However, prices are high, coffee is consistently criticized, breakfast can feel chaotic and crowded, and a few meals were disappointing, lukewarm, or poorly portioned.

My daughter ordered a well done steak which was served as medium rare with lots of blood such that the waiter who took our order noticed this and approached us to apologise and offered to send it back to the kitchen to be cooked.
We were disappointed we never had a chance to have dinner in the hotel's restaurant as it was closed (we weren't aware it was closed on Mondays and we only stayed for two nights), however I would still recommend the stay.
Long wait even though they seem to have a lot of chefs and most disappointing of all their sticky rice and mango was the worst I had while travelling Thailand and I had tried it in many places.

The only downside was with the food; we ordered a natural pineapple juice and emphasized it, but the waitress tried to convince us that it was, and it wasn't. 'Lying' is unacceptable in a hotel of that category.
Despite the many bad things about the hotel, the in-room dining food was okay, but you should avoid their creamy tomato soup that just tastes like water with flavor.
On one occasion we went to another of the restaurants, the most casual one to eat pizza, and honestly we didn't like it at all.

We were the only ones in there and realised that it really was used for breakfast and not really used in the evening.
Went for lunch in the butterfly bar and the service was a little slow considering we were the only people there.
If you order food to the room, keep in mind that for 500 baht, you will get micro portions.

The quality of the dishes at the lobby restaurant was mediocre and very expensive, it was really disappointing.
I was very satisfied with the room and the service at the reception, Fluke was very kind.
The restaurant and the bar is out of this world with the story and appearance.

And a very special shout-out to Chef Omar: your boeuf bourguignon is absolutely outstanding.
Other than that everything was very good it's just a remark about the service.
In the restaurant, they again charged a hefty amount for water Being served.

The restaurant has an Arab (Lebanese) chef and the prices are reasonable
A beautiful hotel with a Lebanese restaurant and their breakfast is nice.
The restaurant is suitable for Arabs and the food was excellent.

The hotel restaurant is really expensive and the portions are small.
Had one of my best filet steaks in the hotel.
The hotel has a nice restaurant on the ground floor.

Their kitchen is varied and the food is excellent 👍
The restaurants in the hotel very good as well.
The food in the restaurant was also very good!

The restaurant was also very good with interesting decor.
Room service meals were nothing like the menu.
The food was tasty but expensive and small.

Three cheers to the chef and staff.
The food is great, so much choice.
There is a chocolate buffet everyday.

Gym: What guests say
View Valia Bangkok Sukhumvit 24 by Kingston Hotels120 relevant reviews
The gym is repeatedly praised as unusually well equipped, spacious, modern, and high quality for a hotel, with extensive machines, dumbbells, water, towels, and even a squat machine. Recurring drawbacks include occasional poor cleaning, mosquitoes, uncomfortable or malfunctioning air-conditioning, and inconsistent closing times, including 6 p.m. and 11 p.m.

The gym could have been in the same building where we booked the family suite but not a big deal as we could just walk across the street to get to the main building.
The breakfast area and the pool are in the first section, which means you have to cross a street between the two sections to go have breakfast or use the pool and the gym.
It quickly became apparent that it was poorly maintained, with dirt on the floor, sweat stains on equipment, and a lack of cleaning supplies for users.

I can't stress how much this is such a huge plus comparing so many hotels in bkk with small gyms and very little equipment.
The location seemed about 20-30 minutes taxi ride from main attractions like the weekend market, the Asiatique riverside and IconSiam mall.
The gym closing at 6 PM is a downside. I never managed to go there because I didn't have enough time.

The gym is one of the best hotel gyms i’ve been to in Asia within this price range per night.
When the TV wouldn't turn on, I called the front desk, and the maintenance staff came promptly to fix it.
I will try the breakfast, pool and gym next time;) Cz I'll come back again for sure

The gym aircon - we couldn't get this working so it was hot and stuffy in there.
There were mosquitos in the gym area and the AC was cooling enough in the gym.
Also really loved the gym. One of the best equipped gyms I’ve seen at a hotel.

I'd like to think this hotel is more a gym with a boutique hostel vibe.
A bar and a gym (some machines, dumbbells up to 20 kg, Smith machine, treadmills).
Swimming pool and gym available (the water is clean and the structure provides good shade)

The gym is not fully equipped but sufficient, with towels and water bottles available.
The facilities of the pool and fitness center are also very good.
The gym is well equipped for anyone using the facilities.

The gym and swimming pool were also quite nice.
You have all you need for a professional workout.
The fitness facilities are just okay, nothing special.

The gym and pool area is an eye-catcher.
The gym is also very well equipped
Gym needed a bit more cleaning.

Gym and pool were great too!
The gym is top quality.
Great gym and pool area.

The gym is also excellent,
Excellent housekeeping and Gym
Gym was great.

There is a nearby massage and spa that the hotel recomaned called Yonomori Onsen and Spa just 6mins walk from this hotel that gives the best quality Thai Massage that I ever had.
Massage services around the hotel and they allow in-room massages, they provided us with details about this service
There's a great massage center almost around the corner from the hotel that is extraordinary.

The only really dissapointing thing is that there is no spa in the hotel.
Unfortunately, the hotel does not have a spa center.
There is no sauna in the pool area.

There was no spa, no steam no sauna.
A luxurious and well-organized spa for massages
I wish to have a sauna.

The health club is very good
Many massage spa close by
The jacuzzi was not clean.

There is no spa available.

The hotel has a designated parking area with an elevator that goes directly to the parking lot.
They have excellent parking facilities and staff who looked after cars also very helpfull.
We hired a car and the secured parking was very convenient.

Free parking.
Good parking.
