Guests consistently describe Andaz Tokyo as one of their best hotel experiences, citing spotless modern Japanese-inspired design, exceptional service and friendly staff, plentiful amenities, and breathtaking city views from the high floors. Many found it worth the high price, praised the location and spa, and said they would return.

Knowing the Park Hyatt Tokyo, I had the hope that the Annas creates a similar feeling with a little bit of a more modern, contemporary twist.

Rooms are consistently praised for spacious layouts, sophisticated high-quality design, comfortable beds, excellent amenities, and dramatic Tokyo views through floor-to-ceiling windows, especially from the upper floors and Tokyo Tower-facing rooms. Bathrooms often feature large soaking tubs and rain showers. Reported drawbacks include small twin beds, difficult lighting, and rooms becoming too warm overnight.

One reason we stayed at the Andaz was the fact that we could put three people in a room - a very important consideration with our family of five.

★ 10.0

The only small negative is that the lighting in the room is either too bright or too dark, it’s difficult to get just right!

★ 10.0

Only problem we have is the room temperature in the middle of the night when it gets too warm when we visit in Oct.

★ 8.0

We had our bags sent from another hotel, and the bags were already placed in the room when we arrived.

Generally praised for its convenient location near multiple subway stations, Ginza, Tokyo Tower, and Tokyo Station, with easy taxi access and a quiet, safe neighborhood. Guests appreciated nearby convenience stores and restaurants, though some found the area less central, less touristy, or lacking shopping and dining; Tokyo Tower views were a distinctive highlight.

The hotel is a short taxi ride from the Tokyo train station and the metro is right across the street so access to everywhere is excellent.

★ 10.0

It is a bit off the "beaten path" in terms of tourist areas in Tokyo, but not so much that I wouldn't highly recommend it!

★ 10.0
