W Hong Kong is repeatedly praised for stylish, sophisticated design, comfort, energetic yet refined atmosphere, strong service, central location, views, rooftop pool, and suitability for business, leisure, and celebrations. Recurring concerns include an AC issue, checkout delay, view preferences, and one report calling the property dated with surprising extra charges.

I had the good fortune to enjoy the exceptional W experience in Koh Samui two years ago, but this is my first time at this W, and I must say I am truly impressed.
Great thing of this birthday petcation and Anniversary during pandemics, the hotel does their best to stand out in every way, but still lacking smoothness in communication and day to day operations.
Really disappointed after traveling through China and staying at a number of amazing hotels, this was, by far, the most expensive and yet, by far the least up to standard.

Overall, the experience felt cheap in many aspects - you even had to pay extra for water and basic toiletries if you wanted to take them with you.
Once inside, you quickly adjust to a different rhythm, like transitioning from the street to indoors; the city is still there, but separated by a pane of glass.
Overall the W Hotel Hong Kong combines large, comfortable rooms, exceptional service, and excellent transport connections, making it a perfect choice for both business and leisure travelers.

I went into my stay at the W Hong Kong expecting the usual trendy, high-energy luxury vibe, but what I actually got completely blew me away.
I went to open an HSBS Premier account this time, but if I have the opportunity to come again, I would like to visit again.
The hotel has a nice patina feel to it, it is aging well and nicely, giving it an authenticity to it in its own way.

If you are looking for a sophisticated place with a highly skilled and experienced staff, this place is the only answer for you!!
The hotel has a stunning design, with spacious and modern rooms, and the rooftop pool view is absolutely breathtaking.
Even with the AC issue and the checkout delay, the exceptional hospitality here makes it a standout.

This hotel sets the gold standard for excellence. I’ll definitely return and highly recommend it to everyone.
A luxury place for a stay with a view and a pool on a high floor.
Everything so far about this hotel is superior, and the warm welcome from Pammi.

This was on the top of the list of best stays and experiences ever.
The service was attentive, and the overall atmosphere made the stay truly memorable.
For sure will come back to W for our trip to Hongkong.

Please keep these sessions and it enhance the experience much :)
The accommodation is excellent especially taken care of my allergy.
To spend time there it was like being in paradise.

When compared to other W hotels, it needs a renovation.
I will come back to stay here again soon <3.
My stay at W Hotel HK was truly unforgettable.

We can't wait to return to the W Hotel.
This guy is talented and so humble with it.
W hotel is a great options for family vacations.

The view and environment is clean and really beautiful.
Standouts: The Service, the views and the location.
It was clean though, but not well maintained.

Staff: What guests say
View W Hong Kong208 relevant reviews
Staff service is overwhelmingly praised as warm, proactive, professional, and personalized across reception, concierge, housekeeping, dining, spa, and pool. Recurring highlights include Anson’s detailed preparation, Rajesh’s attentive Woobar service, and thoughtful breakfast staff. Guests cite help with luggage, taxis, early check-in, upgrades, and special occasions, though one found reception impersonal with apparently new staff.

From front desk on arrival, to helping me with a very fast suit press, to fixing an aircon issue, to great bartenders who would share Indian recommendations to chat responsiveness and little thank yous all around it was a very memorable stay.
She not only maintained a warm smile and patient attitude throughout, but also made us feel welcome in many small ways: proactively noticing our needs, promptly refilling wine and changing plates, making the entire dining experience exceptionally comfortable and pleasant.
Even though typhoon came to the city and we can’t go anywhere outside, they really keep asking and offer things we didn’t expect such as volunteering to be a tour guide walking around the hotel and observe the Ritz Carlton.

This exceptional attention to detail, and flexibility, such as from the reservations team when I had a problem, to several complimentary add-ons made on feel truly valued as a guest.
I wish to express my gratitude to the staff, most specifically to Pammi, the kind, very professional receptionist who welcomed me so nicely to this beautiful hotel.
At every point staff were willing to trouble shoot, go out of their way, cater and accommodate and do their best with a smile.

Her performance not only made us feel right at home, but also deeply impressed us with the professionalism and warmth of your team.
What touched my heart the most was how warmly Suman greeted my daughter, making us feel genuinely welcome right from the beginning.
From start to finish, the team at W Hong Kong went above and beyond to make our trip seamless and memorable.

Whether it was responding to needs or caring for details, he always naturally showed professionalism and care, making people feel honored.
When we called them to ask for a lighter or a match box, a guy came and lit for us.
Their service was efficient and accommodating, and they always greeted you with a warm welcome and a bright smile.

Our experience at the W Hotel was truly excellent, thanks largely to the perfect service of Mr. Best Thitipong.
Even through emails they are always prompt to reply and always making sure they are always there to help.
We had the pleasure of meeting Wes Chen, the Assistant Director of Welcome, whose service was truly exceptional.

We were looked after by excellent staff who were all extremely polite and made our stay more enjoyable.
A regular visitor who is always made to feel like I have returned home by all the staff.
Their enthusiasm and thoughtful service did wow me a lot and made my stay a memorable one.

...Alex checked on my preferences right after my last stay and quietly tailored everything for this one.
On subsequent breakfast, when the baby was asleep he enquired on the well-being of the baby.
Service from Sush Ma and others was again W style, it was very warm and personal.

Throughout our stay, the staff consistently went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction.
I would like express my sincerest thanks to the Welcome team at W Hong Kong.
She had an attitude problem. For this, I've deducted 2 points. Someone please train her.

Staff Kailyla was really exceptional and presented my wife with a lovely birthday cake.
The desk manager was very apologetic and moved us to a higher level suite.
A highlight of our experience while dining there was a staff called Rajesh.

Very enjoyable evening, especially the hotel staff, who are diligent responsible and intelligent.
A very comfortable place, attentive staff, and services that match the high price.
Specially shout out to Wes Chen who made our stay even better.

Rooms: What guests say
View W Hong Kong129 relevant reviews
Rooms are repeatedly described as spacious, comfortable, clean, stylish, and well equipped, with excellent beds, showers, amenities, and striking Victoria Harbour or city views. Recurring drawbacks include weak air conditioning, occasional odours, poor bathroom water management, limited lighting, and signs of wear, while some rooms are small or face unattractive views.

1. Quality of the room is terrible! Toilet stinks like a public toilet (mind you, the public toilets in the Elements shopping mall did not stink at all). Furnishings in the room are old and worn (haven’t seen a hairdryer this bad for years, as of many examples).
The interior was stylish, but the shower water flowed all the way to the toilet, making the first day a wet mess, and the toilet seat was always damp, which was unpleasant.
Our second room had unacceptable carpet stains from the last guests and that was why we could not get access until the carpet cleaners had been in and fixed it.

Just one comments on the Air-condition was not that cold the temperature was 19degree and it was not really nice when We opened the window the it makes us sweat.
The guest room was another highlight — modern facilities, stylish design, and breathtaking views over Kowloon Bay that turned every glance out the window into a visual delight.
By day, you can see the structure of the harbor and the direction of the roads; by night, you see a dense yet orderly array of lights.

But to be a proper 5 star hotel, they need to have been reviewing of their rooms to ensure they don't give guests rooms with such problems.
The room was incredibly spacious with a thoughtful layout, especially the huge bathroom and shower area, plus the large mirror that made getting ready so convenient.
Our room had a large carpet stain that despite a heroic effort to remove, a faint outline still remained, making one wonder what exactly happened there….

We wanted to experience the cool corner room, Rene kindly took us for a tour of the room and helped us change rooms.
Last time I stayed the water for the shower was not at the temperature did not get warm to my comfortable level.
The room is well kept for its age — comfortable, quiet, and easy to both unwind and get work done.

I had booked a room for the night so we wouldn't have to bother with traveling in the evening.
Super nice room, with a very good bed and pillows. Also a well-stocked fridge/bar in the room.
The rooms were great, spacious, cozy comfortable, with comfortable, slightly larger than usual beds which was welcomed.

Upon arrival to the room we were greeted with a cake and message from the team.
The rooms have an industrial outlook which I rather like, but perhaps not to everyone's taste.
There was an air purifier in the room which we thought might solve the problem.

Furthermore, the rooms are both spacious and offer great value, providing a very comfortable stay.
The thoughtful touches and attention to detail created such a warm and joyful atmosphere.
The cleaning staff had done nothing about it and put us in the room.

We got a round cake, a bday card, and decoration in the room.
The room I had had a fantastic partial view of the harbour.
The rooms are spacious and well equipped with everything you can imagine.

I requested the room to be set up to be special
The water pressure while showering was sufficient, which is nice.
The room is nice, and the bathroom is great too!

Room with an exceptional view, exceptional rooftop pool, location
I think it was vomit from a previous guest.
The hotel offered a room upgrade before arrival.

Location: What guests say
View W Hong Kong108 relevant reviews
The location is repeatedly praised for direct, roughly 22-minute Airport Express access, Kowloon Station and MTR connections, and immediate access to Elements Mall, restaurants, shopping, and high-speed trains. West Kowloon attractions are nearby, but pedestrian access around highways can feel awkward, some describe it as not walkable, and certain rooms overlook unattractive industrial areas.

Excellent location for these reasons : (i) Direct link to the airport via the Airport Express (W is located at Kowloon Station and once at this station, exit is connected to the hotel); (ii) connected to the Bullet Trains to China via the mall; (iii) easy access to Tsim Sha Tsui (walking distance and also, for those who can't walk much, you can easily reach TST or the Star Ferry via Austin MTR station); (iv) that W Hotel is located within a mall which has restaurants, food outlets and a supermarket - super convenient!!
Of course, this is not the nearest to all the places, but I feel it worked for us as it was easy access from the airport without any traffic; right above the MTR station and with a mall for anything that one may need.
The hotel is very easy to get to thanks to being above a transportation hub - express train from the airport and subway stations in the high-end Elements shopping mall beneath the hotel.

The pedestrian access is not very good as it is an area with many highways, although the location inside a shopping mall and the Kowloon station make it much easier to get around.
There's not much right around the hotel (unless you like upscale shopping malls), but the transportation makes it a good location for getting to and from the airport and around Hong Kong.
It was ideally located as it is connected to Elements and about a 10-minute walk to M+, the Hong Kong Palace Museum, and the West Kowloon Cultural District.

The location is fantastic for a hassle-free arrival with the hotel sitting atop the Kowloon airport express station and a modern mall with an array of good restaurants.
It is MTR ACCESS TRAIN TO THE CITY AND ALSO DIRECTLY TO THE AIRPORT you dont have to waste your time walking outdoor to reach the train.
It is directly connected to the Airport Express, with the journey taking just 22 minutes and the station located in the same building as the hotel.

Extremely comfortable place to stay particularly as i was arriving from China by the High Speed Rail and was proceeding to HK Airport the next morning.
The hotel is located right next to the train station to the airport. It takes just under 30 minutes from the airport to the hotel.
It is conveniently located just above Kowloon Station on the Airport Express, making it easy to get to and from the airport to the hotel.

Additionally, it is connected to the Elements Mall, making it an ideal location for shopping and dining without having to go to other neighborhoods.
The hotel is located in the middle of a big plaza, which takes about half an hour walk to escape from.
Conveniently located and connected to a luxury mall, MTR and walking distance to the high speed rail network to China.

The W hotel in Kowloon as great location is a no-brainer for us to choose as accommodation
Location is very convenient (right at the stop of the airport express train) and views incredible.
It's easy to go to and from the airport to the hotel with the Fast line!

You can go downstairs to enjoy shopping/foods at Elements and walk 10mins to M+ museum.
Inside the Elements Mall, there is not clear sign to reach this hotel.
Aside from the excellent service and amenities, the location is unbeatable.

Transportation is a bit inconvenient but manageable if you plan ahead.
The Airport Express train provides excellent connectivity for flight transfers.
I was missing a nice bar with a view maybe.

Great staff team, great pool, great location, great food
The location is still as fantastic as we remembered.
It's also convenient to walk surrounded to Canton Road.

The concierge team was always prompt and helpful.
Great location, with a Korean-speaking manager (Alex) available.
THE HOTEL IS LOCATED IN THE PERFECT LOCATION.

Restaurant: What guests say

The Kitchen’s buffets are repeatedly praised for excellent, fresh food, broad international choices, seafood, desserts, and generous brunches, with attentive service from staff such as Kevin. Woobar offers a stylish atmosphere, creative cocktails, live music, and casual meeting space. Isolated criticisms mention average food, confusing information, and uneven tea-set service.

Must give a big thumbs up to the service by Kevin, attentive, timely and friendly, always sensitive to your needs before you even need to speak, all comes with a smile.
We did not try the restaurant, but the bar/coffee shop was really nice - great for a casual business meeting in the afternoon, and with a live band at night.
It's called "The Kitchen", i feel quite enjoyable, with varieties of food choices, including cold served and hot seafoods, meats and cuts, sushi and salami, and ladies' loving desserts.

Kevin made us feel welcome and valued throughout the meal, and it was clear he takes great pride in ensuring every customer has a memorable time.
Thanks good food and warm serve from Mr Rajesh from Woobar, best place to stay and have a light chat with couples or family members.
Although we arrived late for the dinner buffet, the staff welcomed us warmly and ensured we had a wonderful experience from start to finish.

I ran into Andriani at the hotel restaurant — she was so friendly and always greeted me with a cheerful hello at breakfast.
The atmosphere was welcoming, and the food was excellent, but what truly stood out was the exceptional service provided by Amelia and Celine.
And the drinks at WooBar? Stone is a star — balanced, creative cocktails and genuinely great conversation that adds to the experience.

As for food, it was generally satisfying, and we liked the homemade gelato in particular though the variety could be improved.
The seafood selection was fantastic, with everything from crab and lobster to a wide variety of Asian dishes and curries.
I had the pleasure of dining at this establishment last Friday with a dear friend I hadn’t seen in years.

The breakfast buffet was equally strong, offering an extensive choice of fresh fruit, pastries, cooked dishes and made-to-order dishes.
My husband and I recently visited the bar at W Hong Kong, and we had an absolutely wonderful time!
Not clear information (made us confused of what we gonna get … don’t assume we supposed to know).

Food and wine selection was generous and inexhaustible, the sea food and also hot dishes were especially delicious.
The food was exceptional, with a wide variety of dishes that were beautifully presented and full of flavor.
Cleanliness and speed of service were top-notch, and the entire team made us feel valued and cared for.

We visited the bar on our first night and enjoyed two delicious cocktails from our mixologist, Stone.
My friends, mom and I went to Kitchen at W hotel for dinner buffet last night.
We had a great time at Woobar with the family, which was a pleasant surprise.

The highlight of our stay, however, was the dinner buffet at The Kitchen.
Very good food but what made the experience better was our waiter.
I like the Indian curry and the Indian bread so much.

Kevin was great as our waiter at the bottomless brunch.
Also food at restaurant was average in my experience.
Heartfelt Thanks to Kenvin for a Wonderful Dining Experience

Had a great night with awesome musix remix.
I enjoyed a fresh crab lunch buffet here.
The food and beverage offerings were wonderful

Breakfast: What guests say
View W Hong Kong52 relevant reviews
Breakfast is frequently praised for its extensive buffet, combining local specialties, dim sum, ramen, curries, pastries, and Western staples, with attentive staff such as Kevin and Bill. However, experiences vary: recurring complaints mention crowded or chaotic seating, delayed or forgotten coffee, dirty utensils, high pricing, and occasional average quality.

I purchased breakfast on the first day, but they had already reserved a seat for me. When I returned with my breakfast, the seat had been taken. I explained the situation to the staff, but it was crowded and there were no other seats available, so I had to stand and wait with my breakfast.
The chef handling the egg counter deserves a special mention (he manned the counter all the days except the last one) and was a delight to interact with, he understood our needs quite easily and keep dishing out what was needed.
I booked without breakfast but arrived so early the first day so I paid for the buffet breakfast to try - it was mediocre in my opinion but the service was great.

Breakfast was another highlight!! An impressive spread with something for everyone: salads, cheeses, stir-fries, dim sum, ramen, curries, and classic western options like bacon and eggs.
While we appreciated the staff taking coffee orders at the table, the wait was quite long, and self-service may actually have been more convenient.
By the third morning, he already knew what we would like to have for the tea and put the teapot settled for us!

Chef Bill at the KITCHEN restaurant remembered we were vegetarian from our first breakfast and prepared special soup base for us each morning.
The selection was limited, the quality did not meet expectations, and overall it felt very basic for a hotel in this category.
Breakfast had many options and staff have put a lot of thought into managing social distancing situations while minimising compromise on experience.

Big thanks to Bill at the live station, he kept it super friendly and efficient even when it was crazy busy.
The fried dough sticks were unfortunately over-fried and overly oily, lacking the light and fluffy texture we were hoping for.
I definitely recommend their breakfast buffet which offers a wonderful variety of both european options and local specialties.

Breakfast has no waiter. The staff only pick up plates but no one to order coffee or water.
The only areas that could be improved were the breakfast coffee service and the fried dough sticks.
Breakfast has noticeably stepped up since my December visit — better variety, fresher prep, more attentive service.

The breakfast experience was equally impressive, with a variety of delectable options that catered to every palate.
Overall good taste is decent, but somewhat standard like in other hotels, certainly nothing unique about it.
Jerry, the manager for the breakfast section, was very kind and introduced us to good cuisine.

The staff were attentive and the buffet table was refilled quickly with lots of variety.
She give me recommend to take lunch and dinner here to try this incredible buffet,
Order extra hot latte and hot milk but was not extra hot, just above warm.

The breakfast buffet has a massive selection of food and service is great.
Spoons, forks at breakfast were dirty 3 times out of 3 days.
Eric at the breakfast beverage section was very helpful as well.

As for breakfast? Easily one of the best out there.
Breakfast room was a bit crowded and somewhat cold everywhere.
The breakfast was outstanding too, as was the service.

We need to take breakfast 7:30 - 9:00 am.
They even serve sorbet, which was amazing!
Claudio at the noodle station was outstanding.

Pool: What guests say
View W Hong Kong42 relevant reviews
The rooftop pool, mainly on the 76th floor, is repeatedly praised for spectacular skyline views, pleasant or warm water, cleanliness, and quiet swimming. However, it can be very windy, part of the view is blocked by ICC, capacity may fill up, and unexpected maintenance or weather closures prevented some guests from using it; the pool bar is permanently closed.

The swimming pool up on level 76 is beautiful with great views, though it is worth noting that a chunk of the vista is blocked by the massive ICC building where their sister hotel is.
One morning the WET pool had to close due to strong winds; Priscilla kept an eye on it and made sure I was the first to know the second it reopened.
The swimming pool is fantastic, the temperature is great, and you can see the sun rise if you wake up early.

The pool was unavailable to use on the day we stayed, which was something my kids were looking forward to.
The 76th swimming pool was absolutely superb clean, quiet so really good for lengths ; and what a view !
Heard that swimming pool was fully booked by the time of check in and some people can't manage to book.

This isn't a place to relax; it's more like a pause button, allowing you to briefly escape the ground.
My friends in HONG KONG said you need to go to the POOL and yes it is as rumored.
The windy pool at the roof top - 2nd time there, always windy. Must go summer only.

While in the water, the city noise is diminished, leaving only distant silhouettes and the wind.
A solid swim with a view to die for and an ice cold beer to end!
It enjoys sunshine from the morning until mid-afternoon and offers nice views of Hong Kong.

I spent a lot of time by the pool on floor 73 which was spectacular!
This was not advertised as being out of service on the website or the booking.
One of the reason we picked this hotel was because of its rooftop pool.

He was incredibly friendly, attentive, and always made sure we had everything we needed.
Used the roof top pool / hot tub - even though it was raining!
The hotel has the highest pool in Hong Kong and the view is impressive.

We also enjoyed the pool, as well as the great view of the area.
Rooftop pool was very cool, too bad they shut the pool bar permanently.
His positive attitude and excellent hospitality made our pool experience even better.

The swimming pool is elevated, its surface close to the city skyline.
Was under renovation and raining so cannot enjoy the pool either.
Super swimming pool on the terrace on the 76th floor.

Great staff team, great pool, great location, great food
Big roof top pool with an amazing view.
The pool had not yet reopened

Pool on the highest floor.
Swimming pool is decent.
Rooftop pool.

Facilities: What guests say
View W Hong Kong40 relevant reviews
Facilities are generally praised as excellent, clean, well-equipped and thoughtfully designed, especially the rooftop pool, gym, spa, and distinctive details such as elevator screens, hidden buttons and braille. However, reports also mention tired or dated areas, a grimy spa, an unavailable men’s sauna during work, a noisy DJ lobby, and limited café options.

I was able to use the spa facilities to shower and change which was great so I got to freshen up after my long flight and leave my luggage with reception.
The hotel hooks you with these super cool thoughtful touches, like the screens on the lift floors that light up and change their greeting depending on the time of day.
It claims to trying to be a green hotel but still a lot of amenities offered to customers and still changing towels everyday and no water dispenser machine is offered.

The room seemed to have a lot of items for sale which seemed a bit tacky and out of character with the W brand.
From the free mini gacha at reception to the bookshelf-themed elevator area with buttons hidden in photo frames, every corner felt creative and memorable.
The hotel's elevator has unnecessary complexity just for going up and down -- it hides the up & down buttons in a decoration.

The vibe of the hotel is exactly what I want in Hong Kong: stylish, energetic, and fun without ever feeling chaotic.
Turndown service was another highlight—coming back to find my slippers perfectly aligned and chocolates waiting for me felt incredibly premium.
I have booked the same W hotel in Macau and the facilities were much better, and with a cheaper price.

The facilities are fully equipped, impeccably maintained, and filled with thoughtful little touches that showcase the hotel's unique character.
If I had to mention one area for improvement, it would be that some facilities feel a little dated.
However, everything is well-maintained and spotless, so this is more of an observation than a drawback.

The spa was small but nice, the steam room was especially great after a long flight.
The hotel itself is very modern, has a great view, and an amazing rooftop pool.
Happy with the little decoration on the bed and the little pastries prepared for us.

What truly stood out were the playful and thoughtful design elements throughout the hotel.
Fine for bar, but really irritating and sets not good tone when you arrive.
Even the room entrance design, complete with braille details, added charm and character.

Signage from Kowloon Station (especially from the rooftop garden) could be significantly improved.
Now it feel alittle dated and worn. Need new refurbish in some area.
The mens' sauna was undergoing work and not available during my stay.

It seems better to address maintenance and upkeep in a different layer.
Ahhh, and i never skip to take a chill time at woobar!!
Facilities- dining/bar, were modest and roof top bar was scruffy and soulless

Laundry service was good too! By 6pm we got it back.
When we needed foam pillows, they are able to provide.
As are the facilities such as the gym and pool.

With dj giving it heaps at the arrival desk.
With well thought out facilities
The facilities are excellent

Check-in / Check-out: What guests say
View W Hong Kong40 relevant reviews
Check-in is usually smooth, fast, and warmly handled, with frequent early room access and complimentary late checkout. Staff members are often praised by name for professional, personalized help. Recurring negatives include queues, occasional slow or difficult check-ins, inconsistent upgrades, and delayed refunds or large pre-authorizations after checkout.

Check-in was from 3/19 to 3/21, and the money was deducted from my debit card on 3/25, but it's already 3/27 and the pre-authorized amount has not been refunded, which is puzzling... The early check-in was problematic; first, they couldn't find my reservation, then the process took a long time. When I finally got to the room, there were a lot of bags that weren't mine, which made me worried about potential disputes if something went wrong with those bags. It took a long time for them to be picked up, and they brought a suitcase that wasn't mine either, which they took away again... After a long wait, my bags were finally delivered to my room.
As I did not use anything from the mini bar nor ordered room service and the breakfast I had was paid separately this was entirely unused but took another week after check out to be returned to my bank balance and this is only after I chased for this to be escalated on their side and with my bank too.
It’s 2025, maybe change your system so that your guests can pay for room services on their phones via Apple Pay rather than holding a large sum that most people won’t use and will have to wait for it to be released for up to 30 days after check out!

I just checked in at the W Hong Kong, and wish to express my gratitude to the staff, most specifically to Pammi, the kind, very professional receptionist who welcomed me so nicely to this beautiful hotel.
(from the room already being available despite my early arrival, to the invitation to use all the fine services and even receiving the okay for an extra-late checkout) was simply “the cherry on top”.
Only key issue I had was that the hotel required to pre-authorise my debit card an amount which was basically half of my entire stay I had already paid in full prior to arrival.

Before our visit, we called the reception/reservation centre to ask for some info but the info won’t accurate and different from what turned out to be once we arrive.
After we checked out, the hotel sent us a warm email with a photo of the room’s birthday décor as a keepsake, which was a lovely touch.
Alex even checked in on my stay while he was off and helped sort a WooBar reservation right as I was leaving, which made departure totally seamless.

One of the 2 rooms was made ready for an early check-in, the process was completed in 5 mins and we were taken to our rooms.
The extra mile (5 star experience) would had been 'I don’t have immediate upgrade available but I can upgrade you tomorrow or the following day!'
The actual checkout process was much slower than usual, which unfortunately put me in a massive rush and made me late for my flight.

Checkout: The experience was smooth, there was some minor confusion in the bill details which were quickly resolved and the update shared over email.
Hotel was full and didn’t get immediately upgrade which was okay but had to asked for upgrade for the remaining the remaining days.
Extra charges to my credit card bill, in which no one from booking.com and the hotel is able to give a reasonable explanation.

Requested early check in is not available and they said that they will text me when the room is ready but they didn't.
Miss Nana (Natie) and Momo (the sweet Japanese staff member, sorry if I misspelled your name) gave us a delightful check-in experience.
She was able to find a room for us and we were able to check in six hours before our original time.

Wonderful experience right from the start where I was warmly greeted at each stage from the main entrance to the Check-in team.
It was a nice stay at W Hotel but the check in staff need to be more professional & efficient.
Sophie then made sure we got checked into the same room on our return, which was a nice touch.

We arrived very early morning from Los Angeles when we got to the hotel it was only 8:30 AM!
I checked in 3 hours before my daughter's arrival but they refused to give credit to my daughter's account.
It was great that one of our rooms was ready early so we could check in when we arrived.

He took time to ensure I was check-in smoothly and personally showed me to the room.
The staff forgot to pass me the kid stuffs and I have to chase for it.
Check-in experience: The check-in experience was one of the best I have experienced.

Everything in our room was flawless and ready the moment we arrived.
Check in ok but no nice upgrade despite my Ambassador status.
In fact, they will not honor any benefits at all.

Gym: What guests say
View W Hong Kong13 relevant reviews
The gym is repeatedly praised as clean, well equipped, and open 24/7, with Hong Kong Island views, a boxing bag, and comprehensive facilities. Guests also highlight excellent sauna and steam rooms, while the pool is rated highly. One guest found mask-wearing difficult during workouts, and another described promotional expectations as misleading.

Being an AMEX Platinum user, I was excited about the free entry to upscale hotel fitness centers and pools, such as the one at W Hong Kong.
I could not use the spa or the gym as I did not have the time, but I heard good things.
The gym has a fantastic view and has a boxing bag and pretty much all you need.

It's a bit tough to wear a mask when using the gym facilities.
A well appointed gym with superb sauna and steam room facilities.
The gym with its spa also enjoys a magnificent view.

Clean, nice gym with view of hong kong island.
Love that we have 24/7 room service and gym.
It looks perfect in the promo materials, huh?

But honestly, it's turning into a total illusion.
Gym and swimming pool great .
Fully equipped gym.

...nice breakfast!
Amazing gym
Good gym,

...gym...
...sauna/steam...

Transport: What guests say
View W Hong Kong11 relevant reviews
The hotel’s direct connection to Kowloon Station, MTR, Airport Express, and high-speed rail makes airport transfers and travel to mainland China exceptionally convenient. However, walking access can be tricky, and taxis or Uber may struggle to reach the property; the location is less convenient for destinations beyond the transport hub.

The hotel offers easy access to the MTR and Airport Express, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the city or catching a flight.
Being directly connected to the transport hub adds a level of ease that makes the stay even more enjoyable.
Handy for the airport shuffle but little else of mention save views of harbour which are partly obscured

Easy to get to using the train from the airport as it’s right at Kowloon station.
Walking to the hotel is tricky, but taxis are so cheap it wasn’t a major issue.
We took the high speed train from the airport, and the train to China.

It's convenient to get to the airport since the station is directly connected.
It was easy to get in and out of HK from the hotel.
When calling Uber, remember to choose the pickup location to Elements South Entrance.

Hotel also close to high speed rail station to Greater China.
You can use Uber in Hong Kong which was useful.
Taxis and Uber cards seem always having trouble getting there.

Not bad as a hotel. Convenient for airport express.
I used a taxi for everything else.
Very convenience.

The lockers in the spa was strange, I was there at 6am in an empty spa but out of all the lockers there, only two were available for use as the rest were ALL locked and in use which cannot be possible if the spa was empty?
You need to clear out the lockers over night so people can actually use them as needed not let some people hog them permanently.
I could not use the spa or the gym as I did not have the time, but I heard good things.

Had some misunderstanding, very well managed by the manager BEST and his entire team.
This time we use KLOOK package for couple - massage + afternoon tea.
We did get to have a very relaxing massage in the spa.

The Spa had no more BLISS brand, I left.
The toilet amenities, no more Bliss Brand, too sad.
We love this Spa in W hotel.

Spa team are good as usual.
Also had a great spa.
