Not only capture you in the moment with a stunning interior especially the ceiling but also with the excellent service from your concierge team- to highlight “ Ryan and Griffin” with their non hesitation hospitality toward my rest for the hotel tour and a request for Golden era tour even though the tour is not available during my visit but still they offered me with a seamless service and attention toward my request.

I only stayed here for 1 night, and picked it as I saw a review that said this hotel has the facilities and excellence of a large chain, whilst maintaining the feel of a smaller, friendlier boutique - I completely agree and wish I had longer here.

Also, the little touches were nice - having a bag holder at the buffet/dining room so bags do not sit directly on the ground and valet stands in both dining rooms and in our room.

I’ll definitely be back again on my next trip to Manila, and I’m hoping to stay a bit longer to enjoy the exceptional service and heartfelt hospitality once more.

What's best about this place is that pets are allowed and we got to celebrate my mom's birthday with our dog hassle-free.

The staff is super friendly, and the room is comfortable and spacious, with great Wi-Fi and an excellent table for working.

We had a really good time staying here, and the best part was how they treated our dog, Zoey.

Stayed at the hotel after a cancelled flight, we felt very welcomed and had a great nights sleep.

We recommend this if you want a quick getaway with just a little sprinkle of luxury.

The decor of the Chinese speakeasy is beautiful as are the rooms and all the facilities.

All in all it was a very great experience and i strongly reccomend this hotel!

Everything, my son said it was one of the best hotel we’ve ever been.

It is a beautiful hotel but needs to deal with its plumbing issues.

You can tell they genuinely love pets and make them feel welcome.

We will definitely stay here again during our next trip to Manila!

The staff completely ignored my inquiry about the item I left behind after we checked out.

The servers namely Alyana, Yeoj, Pat, and most especially Denmark were very accommodating and friendly.

Love how everyone was friendly but maintained their professional stance all through out our stay.

The staff was really nice too, especially Renz, Cian, Roi, Chris, Yana, and Tine.

Special highlight and mention absolutely has to go firstly to the staff of Ruby’s (a beautiful Chinese 1920’s speakeasy den hidden behind a bookcase) Ali, Carl, John, Jessica and Princess, not only treated me well and made my visit (many) there special but they also felt like friends by the time I left.

Super loved the service of all the staff from the entrance up until to room service c/o Michelle who was very thoughtful in asking our needs ahead so she does not have to knock on our door and stress out our fur babies.

I will also mention Orlan the housekeeping manager, Lyreyn at the Atrio restaurant, Trixie and Marvin at breakfast, as well the security guards at the entrance of the hotel, as always cheerful and eager to help.

There should be one person (usually he or she stands right at the entrance of the restaurant) left to manage the seats/table during breakfast cuz we were asked a gazillion times which room we were in.

Experienced a warm welcome and stellar efficient service thanks to the Admiral Staff Sir Dexter and Sir JC, who both assisted us to our rooms and explained all the amenities the hotel had to offer.

- Room 723 is an adjoining room and it smelled due to the fancy layout with no door closing the bathroom which mean the sewerage smell can be smelt in the room. We asked to have it clean it only lasted a day.

The major point it’s that I trued two differents rooms in same floor (7th) and when you are already out form the lift, the smell come from canalisations so smell very stronger ..!!

Very disappointed as it was our last night in Manila and we booked this hotel to enjoy a romantic last night but ended up not being able to enjoy the room at all

The guests next door played loud music on portable speakers until late in the evening and started again early in the morning, which made it hard to relax and get proper rest.

Framed painting in the room could give you creeps if you are the kind of person who looks at it long enough and it kind of looks at you back :)

I was hoping to get a room with a nicer view, but unfortunately my room overlooked the street where people were publicly urinating, which wasn’t the most pleasant sight.

The room was good but small, the food cart can’t move around the room, you have to pick the plates and place them inside the room.

I'm so impressed in the setting on room tempreature and moisture that the hotel has done, almost the best that I've ever experienced.

THE NOISE FROM THE OUTSIDE IS TERRIBLE IF THE ROOM FACES THE AVENUE WITH 8 LANES OF CARS AND OTHERS.

If your room is on a higher floor and faces east you will have a great view of Manila Bay.

The room had no natural daylight, and the bedding felt a little damp the shower was a bit claustrophobic.

They tucked I time to change the room for last night and it was better but still …

We were upgraded to an executive suite with bay view and was able to see the gorgeous sunset.

I was told we were the 3rd , if I'm not mistaken, who stayed in Heneral Luna Suite.

All the Details of the room/hotel are not only aesthetically beautiful but equally functional and thoughtful design.

I had to report this and even after the room was not cleaned to my expectation.

The room is quite spacious and premium, pillows and duvet are clean and very soft.

The rooms were very spacious, had super soft beds and the free coffee was delish.

Our reservation was very clearly for a twin room and so they absolutely failed.

So surprise about the hotel rooms, service and most of all food is amazing!

Room what I get, so called “in atrium” is not acceptable for me.

- Carpets are dirty and needs replacing both in room and hallways.

This was our choice to select another room option or try earplugs

The rooms facing the bay or rather the road are noisy.

I'm loving every nook and cranny of this Suite.

Since we stayed in an Executive room with access to the lounge, we were able to have breakfast there as well, but it was not as good with very limited options (and only dish per person) and took a long time to have the food served.

It's been awhile that I've seen such wonderful and well-curated spread in a buffet except that I'm not a big eater nevertheless, Admiral Club's Buffet doesn't disappoint even to those ravenous of eaters.

The buffet breakfast was a little overpriced for the quality (I would have expected proper coffee, not stuff out of a machine for £30 per person), but everything else was perfect.

Although we were initially unsure if the à la carte breakfast was being served, we were immediately met with a warm greeting that made us feel welcome right away.

He consistently checked on us to ensure we had everything we needed, from refilling our coffee cups to offering additional drinks and condiments without us even having to ask.

Due to the lack of people in the breakfast, most dishes were out for too long and didn't taste fresh anymore, but that was not the kitchen's fault.

A special shoutout to the chef, who graciously prepared fried anchovies for breakfast, even though it had already been replaced by Daing na Bangus on the menu.

Smaller selection compared to others but the quality and taste of the food is so far the best amongst buffets I’ve been to here in Manila.

You would like to see some extras such as for example egg Benedict’s for breakfast, less minimalistic offerings for their cheese and Austrian speck etc

The sprawling morning buffet is an absolute must at the Admiral and so is dinner - both in the most pleasant and relaxed atmosphere.

The restaurant is not crowded and thus I could enjoy the place to sit down, eat, and chat with friends comfortably.

But it’s the service that puts them above the rest with value for money for the breakfast buffet.

Fantastic service, great menu selection, and a view of the Manila Bay that no other hotel has.

It was clear that he takes pride in providing excellent service and making guests feel comfortable.

We ordered food chips covered in cheese and truffle without telling us the pasta had cheese and loads of olive oil added again without telling so oily my wife couldn't eat but got offered a free cup of tea as compensation?

Considering the price, we were expecting more food choices such as the classic lechon which is a staple food in every buffet that we went to or if there’s no lechon, they could have offered lamb

I had made reservations for the in house restaurant with the front desk for the following day and only after arriving for dinner did they tell me the entire restaurant was booked for a private event.

Considering the best service was given to me at the lounge, in room dining etc but come to the restaurant, no one even asked us if we wanted coffee or hot chocolate or whatever for breakfast.

The only thing that lets the hotel down is the Ruby Wong restaurant being very substandard and hugely overpriced and an ok, but not brilliant buffet, in a town where excellent ones are common.

The Ruby Red restaurant for dinner that is advertised on their website, however this was booked for a private function so we couldn't go.

Moreover, the view of the Manila Bay adds up the dining experience, with good food and catching up with your family.

I recently had dinner at the Admiral Hotel Manila, and it was an absolute delight from start to finish.

The rooftop dining served generous portions at very reasonable prices, and every dish we ordered was spot on.

Although, the food choices are not as many as other dinner buffet I had in the past.

I especially enjoyed the food, as the dishes were well-prepared, delicious, and clearly made with care.

The view of Manila Bay and the beautiful ambience made the whole experience even better.

There is a secret restaurant in the hotel, which makes the experience even better.

The food was generally excellent, although the Baked Mahi was a bit dry.

You have the coolest rooftop bar and resto with the most wonderful staff.

Smaller items were nice and made our experience more interesting as well.

I liked the breakfast but lunch and dinner weren’t appealing to westerners.

One of the most comfortable and best buffet here in Manila.

The seafood is fresh and the chinese dishes are lovely.

We walked to the Intramuros (the old town). It's not too far, but you walk though old Manila and Malate full of beautiful old buildings, from a bygone area, but now severely neglected, with high levels of poverty, which is quite confronting.

The sad part is, that there is nothing else in the area, other than this, so it's quite heartbreaking, especially when so many of the locals, even though their hard ship, always were able to say Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

We stayed here for the first leg of our Honeymoon, we island hopped the Phillipines for 3 weeks and then we had such a good time here that we came back for the last 3 nights before flying home to Brisbane.

There are not many good restaurants or shops within walking distance - though there are many a short taxi ride away it is difficult to hail a taxi in the area, thus Grab is much recommended.

The location is great if you would like to walk to the oldest part of Manila while wanting to stay a bit off the busiest part and enjoy the undisputed view of the harbour.

It's not too far, but you walk though old Manila and Malate full of beautiful old buildings, from a bygone area, but now severely neglected, with high levels of poverty, which is quite confronting.

The hotel charges 5 star prices but because of its location and smaller scale cannot quite match top hotels in Makati or BGC where there are more restaurants and shops within walking distance.

We were very fortunate this hotel was as fantastic as it was, as the area can be a challenge and we spent quite some time there, which we very much enjoyed.

Once we were able to see other aspects of Manila and to see that it was not all doom and gloom, we really started to appreciate this huge multi faceted city.

It is not walkable distance from anything close to the city center, so you have to be aware and take a grab or taxi or tuktuk to move around.

Come earlier and you get an elevated view of Manila bay at golden hour perfect for pre-dinner drinks that reminded us of sunsets at Rima in Shang Boracay.

I booked the Admiral Hotel because of its close location to the Mall of Asia, Star City Theme park, Ocean Park AND its part of the Accor Hotels.

The establishment erected in a scenic place of the Roxas Boulevard where the guests can see the yachts in the harbor while enjoying their drink in the bar.

It was quite hard to go outside for a walk without being asked for money or being followed by people trying to scam you as a tourist.

Locating at 3rd floor, the window view is not like what at the 9th floor of the hotel, where one can enjoy the grande beach/sea scenery.

We were even lucky to catch the lovely sunset by Manila Bay, which made the view and ambience even more special.

The location area? For my humble opinions and its personal, it’s very bad location..!! Makati area more convenient…

The location is central but don't expect to stroll along the pier...it's right next to a busy road!

Great place to stay for a short stay in a very busy, noisy and dirty city.

Would not recommend this hotel or area to anyone. Makati is a much better area.

The location is a bit shady but for business purposes it was okay.

Unpleasant is also a lot of noise from the street, passing ambulances.

Hotel is a few mins away from major landmarks too.

A private or separate meeting room, meaning not the room itself or the lobby, to provide potential customers of our company or existing customers a higher level of privacy.

Also we came as tourists wearing sandals because Philippines is very hot and we were denied the access of the hotel bar because of that.

A bottle of wine or local liquor in the future would elevate that even more and tie in perfectly with the cultural theme.

+ nice pool on the rooftop where you can smoke(not self evident in the filipines because smoking in most places is prohibited)

The multilevel parking which is too steep, too narrow but it is the only way in and out of the parking.

There were seats at the lounge on the rooftop that were not particularly reserved but we’re stopped to take those seats.

The water views and infinity pool are nice to have, especially on a sunny day and the spa is top notch.

I didn’t like the shower, hot water pressure was so low, it wasn’t possible to take shower with hot water.

TWG tea and espresso machine in-room were nice touches, and the welcome amenities of cake and fruit were thoughtful.

💯 Pet friendly hotel - staff provided a bed for our fur baby, including water and food bowl.

The club lounge offered a wide variety of drinks but hot chocolate is something that you can’t miss.

The staff were so attentive and went above and beyond to ensure i was comfortable and looked after.

The hotel services, particularly in terms of the timely preparation of rooms for occupancy, were notably slow.

The speakeasy bar was way too cold for us and the service was a bit too slow.

The club lounge is excellent, especially highlighted by the team of staff, as is the coffee shop.

The decor of the Chinese speakeasy is beautiful as are the rooms and all the facilities.

The exclusivity isn't there cuz it seems all of their guests were there which shouldn't be.

There's a reason why guests opt for Executive Rooms to have access to an Executive Lounge.

- They only give you one card per room even though we had two adults.

My recommendations are: to replace Hair Dryer is too hard to hold - it bends.

To provide firmer pillows as an option as some people get headaches from soft pillows.

The ambiance has a nice, positive energy that makes it comfortable to stay.

- You are welcomed with a metal detector at the door.

Lounge was really comfortable and has a good atmosphere to relax.

Roof top bar is definitely worth visiting for some views.

The spa and work out room are very nice.

The VIP lounge access was fabulous!

And cleaning was also good.

- Pool on the 9th floor (they make you walk up the straights because the lift indicates 8th floor for the pool) in front of the buffet restaurant which makes you feel like your on display for the diners.

Walking through the restaurant to get to the pool is a little uncomfortable and awkward to be in a bikini and walk next to someone having a formal dinner.

I wish there pool was a big longer but it is definitely long enough for laps and it's a beautiful infinity pool with a view of the city.

The swimming pool may not be the hotel’s best feature, but the poolside area offers a Manila Bay view that’s perfect for sunset gazing.

There were not so many guests during the times we were there so we were able to relax by and in the pool.

Forget using the pool unless you are super confident about your body and you enjoy other people who are eating their meals.

Cocktail hour by the pool is from six to eight however guests were only allowed to dip in until seven.

I didn’t like that the pool closed very early would be nice to swim later on in the evening.

The pool was great and the staff at the pool bar made nice cocktails using pickled ginger.

Pool was small and the area was relatively unkempt compared to the rest of the hotel.

We enjoyed staying by the Infinity Pool with a jawdropping view of the Manila Bay.

No parasols and lack of towels at the pool although it is a fabulous pool.

My family and I felt uncomfortable even attempting to go swimming because of this.

The deposit I had to put up....there was no mention till check in and u couldnt put a creadit card on file and pay via card in the end....if u put the deposit on a card and not charge anything while staying there it takes 2-3 weeks to get it back

We were checking very early around 7 am so thought would get up and have coffee but because we never let them clean the room had to go to reception for coffee capsules and they said because we were checking out today we would need to pay.

We travelled in three couples with the same surname. Upon checkout The reservation staff assumed to put all the charges to the one room. Which was very awkward as we all paid separately for accommodation. This took more than 1/2 to sort out.

I left the accommodation earlier than my gf since I had to take another flight so my girlfriend was asked to pay which left me absolutely clueless and embarrassed since the money was already taken once from my account.

I paid for the 2 nights on a different card and they advised they would cancel the other charges on the different card, but this has still not happened despite me checking out several days ago.

When I raised with the hotel the issue of cleanliness and the lock through a text message using a number with which they had contacted me for the check in, they did not answer.

Reservation canceled by the hotel with the excuse that the booking did not communicate the change when we had the reservation change confirmed successfully, and the hotel’s own email had the new dates.

The AC was broken and fixed on 17°C, unfortunately it was 4 am when we got the room and we only mentioned in the morning, they promptly changed the room.

Required a credit card or cash deposit (about $500 for our 7 days stay), we were not aware and it became an issue as I don’t own a credit card.

I made the reservation using a debit card but then they canceled the transaction saying that it was labeled as a transaction with a credit card.

Liked the idea of having a drink while checking-in albeit I would have preferred a warm wet towel instead of the cold one.

When I arrived they charged a deposit to my credit card, as well as the price for the 2 nights we stayed.

They said they would love to help but due to a technical issue they could not transfer my payment to another date.

Checking in is supposedly at 2pm in their website & email but the rooms were not ready until 4pm.

I did raise it to the concierge and on check out, and they did apologise but that's about it.

Personalized check-in included a tour & history of the hotel & its amenities, escorted us up to our room.

From the moment I checked in to the moment I checked out, the hospitality was truly superb.

The arrival wasn’t exactly what we expected but it was late night and with less staff available.

The check-in process was smooth and efficient, and I was immediately made to feel at home.

Also found it rather appalling that they check your room before they let you check out.

Very busy time but was given a lovely drink and a refreshing cold towel whilst waiting.

Booking.com said it would be up to the discretion of the hotel to amend the date.

As far as I know the hotel will not grant a refund to my online booking.

I stayed from September 21–27 & had such a great experience from check-in to check-out.

During checkout, staff will not provide customer copy by default unless asked.

The welcome drink provided near the check-in desk is nice.

We had a complimentary 10-minute massage, and while it was a nice gesture, it didn’t feel any better than what you can get from more affordable massage places elsewhere.

I had a couples massage in the spa and it was seriously the best massage I’ve ever had in my life - I’d definitely recommend to everyone!

The cleanliness of the room and facilities, the quietness of the room and the Admiral Spa, it was the highlight of our stay.

We went for a 90 mins Massage and it was worth it.

The transport from the airport arranged by the hotel was 8 times more expensive than the ride from the hotel to the airport (also arranged by the hotel).

On our first stay we caught a grab one evening to Ortiga and getting back proved to be very difficult as many drivers wouldn't travel that far.

On our second stay, we organised drivers with the concierge and these were always on time and fantastic, to take us to different areas of Manila.

We managed to negotiate with a taxi driver to take us back.

The shuttle service to MOA was a really nice offering.

It's great that the international airport isn't far away.
