Yes, there are some operational quirks and the property shows minor signs of aging since its 2018 opening, but the overall package works well for travelers seeking comfort and style without paying premium luxury prices.

The hotel is beautiful - the amenities are awesome including the pool, access to tea and coffee and snack bar and the staff were wonderful.

We were amused with the unique hotel entrance and some of us felt like they were entering an exclusive club.

Since the venue was also open to external customers, it felt a bit too crowded and not exclusive enough

Overall the staying experience is Superb, very comfortable and the pool comes with a nice city view.

Well maintained considering I haven’t been back in 5 years and the property is still new.

Quiet and comfortable stay, but you find a lot of better options with this price

I keep coming back..but i think management needs to consider to change a few things.

Compared to the hotel's welcome video, which clearly showcases the brand's spirit on launch, there has been some significant changes, key of which is the rooftop bar which was closed during Covid and no longer open to both staff and guests - which is a loss of a fantastic view and selling point.

The hotel was new and the interiors were aligned with what a hyatt Alila property would offer.. well thought of offerings and the services bieng Amazing, the staffs were really good specially Mr. Dulhan at the concierge with his ever assistive and supportive attitude ..

Top notch design, tranquil for a city hotel, highly accessible by the LRT (light rail transit). Amazing hotel if you are here for business, but also for leisure if you are seeking a posh and quiet place within the city.

Our 2 big problems with this hotel was the lack of smart TV (you can order room service via the TV, but you can't use streaming services even with your own login) and very intermittent WiFi around the room.

The interior design is so chique and posh, you also get complimentary snack and drinks on every level, amazing price with spacious bedroom and nice view overlooking KL city centre, amazing breakfast with Western and Malaysian food options.

It was also strange to look up at some of the lights (specifically the one above the head of the bed) and see what looked like a big crawlspace overhead that would let in some light in the mornings.

The room service was utter inedible garbage, I had high hopes since there was an amazing restaurant in the same building I thought we'd be getting food from their kitchen but....

I moved the table in the living room closer to the outlet there, but had to unplug a light, which made that area particularly dim at night.

Bed issues; room cleanness; toilet seat cleanness; dust on wall and decoration; ants in the room the first days; bedding itching for the whole stay

Good bed, toiletries, hairdryer, bathrobe, slippers, kettle, water, excellent shower, beautiful view of the city. You will find all this in the room.

Spacious room with a living room area was nice for my friend and I to catch up and chat all night.

There was one socket at a desk that seemed blocked, as I couldn’t put a standard three prong plug in.

We felt satisfied with the ambience, spacious and functional room design and the complimentary snacks provided on each floor.

The aircon went down to 20 but it was so hot as Malaysia heat very hard to sleep.

The room had all the facilities you would expect from a Hotel, the shower room being the best.

Special thanks to hotel colleagues at the front desk for their kind hospitality and suite room upgrade.

The room offering of 1 king bed and a queen bed was great for the family ..

Spacious rooms (ours had 1 king and 1 sofa bed, so can fit 3 adults easily).

Everything provided in the room was high quality, and the bedding set was so comfortable.

The rooms were beautifully designed and incredibly spacious, providing a sense of luxury and comfort.

We booked for premier room but they replace with a bigger room (Junior Suite).

The room was spacious and had a unique layout, not the usual hotel room.

The room layout is modern, and the extra large shower is a surprising factor.

The minimalist aesthetic uses dark woods, concrete, and brass fixtures to great effect.

It felt like all the rooms were almost identical despite the different descriptions.

Modern and Stylish rooms, convenient LRT connection, great city view from the rooms.

We stayed in Room 3804, so this review is based on that.

I would like if there were more options on the room service.

If you don’t ask to clean the room, they won’t clean it.

Alila stands out with its Level 41 lobby and high-floored rooms.

Generally, the rooms were well maintained and clean enough - however, some areas of the room were overlooked (vent above the shower area had collected dust, and the wall in the common bathroom area where the bathrobes were hung had water marks that have not been wiped down, fridge needed cleaning and the clothes cupboard had a musty smell too).

While there is usb type A charging port beside the bed, most cables now are type C, and no wall.socket available beside the bed. There is one on the right side of the bed but very tight clearance from.the bedside table, hence I.could.nof plug my charger and travel adsptor on it.

The shower walls are mouldy and they need to be cleaned better especially with white tiles there is mould growing in the walls they need to scrub the shower walls better to make it clean for a 5 star hotel this mould is not acceptable

1)Wished there was a portable makeup mirror. The yellow lighting on the bathroom mirror creates shadows that are not conducive for wearing makeup. If the room had a portable makeup mirror that I can take to the full length mirror that would’ve been perfect

The design of the room is very modern which I absolutely adore, just that none of the bathroom doors can be locked and there is a gap in the door that's facing the bed which is not the best design I guess.

Most importantly, the staff does not seem sufficiently trained and/or experienced (for example: our laundry (which would have had to be returned the same day) was only returned a day later and after we called for this ourself - the in-room dining plan was apparently not available for each room, but that only became clear after a long explanation at the reception - it appeared that there had been a mistake with the number of breakfast, but instead of simply charging the missing breakfasts to our rooms, they asked us to contact Booking first to change our booking - …).

Staff - very poor unlike other 4 / 5* hotels in KL whilst courteous didn't provide an helpful experience... Waited 30 mins to check in as only one member of staff at the desk.. No explanation of facilities and had to press a button to get room made up!

I called the day i had left and informed them that I had left my laundry bag there, they took my contact details and didn't contact me back, so i went there today to ask in person.

From the friendly door man to the attentive restaurant staff and the diligent housekeepers in the corridor, everyone went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was enjoyable and hassle-free.

E.g. during our first breakfast, we ordered the Alila breakfast and requested for the sausage to be served separately from the rest of the meal.

And the person that deliver the food has the audacity to tell us that subuh is 6.20 when we know it was 5.55...

A special mention goes to the front desk staff member who handled our check-in and check-out with utmost professionalism and efficiency.

We also would like to commend the housekeeping boy at level 39 for his speedy and very good service!

Final Verdict: The hard product is solid, but the overall service was pretty unmemorable and not personal.

The staff at reception have excellent manners!! Kudos to Shafie for always being his personal best.

The room assign from the receptionist did not communicate with housekeeping before assign the room.

Thanks to the duty manager and engineering staff for swiftly dealing with the problems.

Staff was very attentive and accommodated our super early check-in which we really appreciated.

The front desk staff were friendly, attentive and accommodating throughout our stay especially.

The receptionists were not very friendly/helpful unlike other 5 star hotel services.

Staff efficient but not presenting the facility

Location-wise while it is situated close to the KL Sentral transportation hub, and from the car park, there is a direct link to the Bangsar MRT, it takes 2 lift changes (i.e. a total of 3 different lifts) to go from carpark to room, and the building is unfortunately located on a cul-de-sac of sorts in the area, making driving somewhat tedious.

The neighborhood is also more interesting than it lets on, with Brickfields and all its Indian stores/restaurants a short walk away, as well as some pretty decent Western options (a pizzeria, oyster bar, café, and acclaimed cocktail bar among others) on a block across the street.

The entrance requires a bridge and a walk up to get to the other side of the street and then you have to go up to the 41st floor to then go back down to your room on either the 35th or 40th floor.

The area, although slightly more tucked away in the back streets of little India, is easy to navigate to find necessities and there is consistent and reliable access to Grab drivers for a reasonable price due to the central location of the hotel!

Location on LRT line, walking distance to Little India and very short car ride to bangsar mid valley shopping, bangsar shopping centre and jalan maarof / telawi shops.

I would recommend the Alila to everyone, especially if you don't want to be right in the center and also want a little bit of peace.

The hotel is quiet and away from the usual tourist location, which I have less concern with because it was a staycation for me.

However, there is a safe walkway to the MRT station, which made the rest of our stay much easier and more pleasant.

It was the easiest to get from our carpark to the room as the building layout isn’t the most straightforward.

Nice hotel, very close to the metro station and only one stop away (10 min walk) from Sentral station.

Very near to Bank Rakyat for us to attend the Tourism & Food Expo event during our stay.

The location as well, nearby neighbor hood doesn’t feel that safe with a lot of foreign workers around.

A bit far from places of activities and services.. 20 minutes by car to the Twin Towers

Price was great for location and size of room... would even recommend for families with young kids

Cabs best available below train station on other side of main road accessed by bridge from hotel.

The hotel is also accessible - it’s very near to KL Sentral and Mid valley Megamall.

If you love stay away from crowded area, Bangsar might be the good option to consider.

Location might not be the most exciting but that was a well-known fact to us.

Additionally the hotel is nearby some of the key KL attractions and food spots.

Area is a bit difficult to walk around as it's opposite a large railway.

Location is good too as it's close to Midvalley megamall and Bangsar village.

The property is on the top 5 floors of a 41 storey building.

LOCATION IS VERY NEAR TO BANK RAKYAT TWIN TOWVER (ATTEND FUNCTION HERE).

Have to take 3 lifts to get to link bridge for LRT.

3 lift rides in total between room and public transport access.

Not really for those who want to explore the nearby surroundings.

Whilst the Brickfields area may not be the most tourist-friendly.

Great place to stay in KL for work related trips

So the surrounding area can be a bit messy.

LRT close by definitely helps to get to places.

The only part which I think the hotel requires to improve would be the water, I am a bit skeptical with the glass bottle whether it was cleaned properly or how would you guarantee no one careful tearing the secure sticker on the water bottle and added something into it.

Parking is not complimentary, it cost 19rm a day (multiple entry) however we are okay with the cost as the parking facilities was great- very clean, very well lit and convenient as well cause you can park on the premium floor (first floor upon entry).

To order any food or drinks, you have to call the hotel’s customer service using a phone that’s only available at the pool bar, which is quite inconvenient—especially since it requires walking all the way there, and the call often doesn’t connect.

While we were a bit disappointed that the pool bar was closed and yoga classes were no longer offered, the front desk still made poolside snacks and drinks available, which was a nice workaround, just a bit slower.

The balcony is not well maintained and it has no roof, so when it rains - which is quite frequent - the whole place becomes really messy.

The lifts get rather tedious after a while, you have to take a lift to 41st floor, then a different one down to the accommodation

One lift to the lobby which is situated at level 41, second lift to the rooms and the third lift to the carpark.

(Though the main lift ride to level 41 took a while, so better not forget anything when leaving the hotel)

The overall services such as complimentary snacks, tea and coffee and the chauffeur service were a welcome touch.

It was annoying to have to first take a lift to the 41st which is the lobby.

Free flow coffee, tea and snacks on each floor, in front of the lift (level 35-40)

Each floor’s lift lobby comes with Malaysian childhood snacks, herbal tea and a coffee machine.

There is a concierge sign downstairs, but we saw the concierge himself only one time.

I like that there’s a self-service coffee & espresso machine, so caffeine requirement checked!

We asked to change for a new one and it was faulty again.

I saw some complaints about the elevator situation, which I don't understand.

Bathroom amenities and water are in glass bottles, not in disposable plastic

Convenient to take lrt as there's a link bridge to bangsar lrt.

The hotel is relatively small with only 143 rooms and suites.

The sound insulation is relatively good, but it's not noise-free either.

So the wait is bit long from reception to ground lobby.

The only thing was the lifts to get to your rooms.

Hotel noted on baby cot request and mentioned was available.

The gym was also very small and poorly equipped.

The availability of snacks and coffee on every floor

The heat in the lift was so bad.

Please keep it up, loving all those facilities.

Early check-in wasn't available, which was strange.

The hotel's facilities and location are excellent.

I am not a fussy eater so I liked the breakfast a lot, however if you are fussy you will struggle. This is a very traditional breakfast for Malaysia, lots of curry, pho etc. egg station was lovely though

English comprehension and general language skills is really important so you can answer for instance, if the fish & chips are breaded or battered - these are basic/important for a cosmopolitan hotel food outlet.

For the 5-star class breakfast menu, in my opinion, it is still limited, but the taste is still very good especially local snack such as cekodok pisang , i really love.

But still would be nice to get abit more variety and options for food, but don't do it and miss out on quality, which alot of other hotels sadly do.

After Covid the Alila has changed the former breakfast from buffet and a la carte breakfast in the top floor to only a la carte in the basement restaurant.

The dining room were unhelpful they wouldn’t let us sit a table near a window even though we remained the only persons in the restaurant for the entire meal.

Had to pay for a coffee (unless having drip coffee) and felt that shouldn't happen since I already paid for a breakfast cost for each day of stay.

Restaurant only have one coffee machine which takes 1 or 2 minutes to make a cup of coffee n you can imagine if you are in the queue.

Front office declined and instead suggested I pay for breakfast to go, which was the first time I have ever encountered that at a 5-star hotel.

The buffet selection is quite limited, although the à la carte menu does offer a decent variety of Western and local dishes.

Second morning I asked a different waiter n was offered camomile, jasmine, etc in addition to black tea n Earl Grey.

I see what everyone meant, but I felt like it was just nice for a hotel with not many rooms/guests.

Breakfast was outsourced and hence, the service nor the variety of the food was not on Alila’s standards.

I used the restaurant for breakfast, and it was great to be able to enjoy Malaysian cuisine.

Breakfast is not really satisfying as choices are very limited probably can finish counting with fingers

The breakfast was a nightmare, bad and with no selection, the buffet was a joke.

If possible to get more variety of breakfast sets then it would be magnificent!

The only disappointment was the limited options available at the buffet breakfast.

Some items at breakfast are charged despite already paying for breakfast

Breakfast options were limited with poor coffee at the downstairs restaurant.

In order to reach breakfast it’s necessary to take two lifts.

I ordered several things for breakfast and they forgot it.

Really easy to take the train into the city 👌

Almost having coffee every morning accompanied with some fried chips.

Tea drinker will need to ask the waiter for it.

The way snacks are provided on the floors is unhygienic.

Breakfast okay but getting a bit boring and repetitive.

I am asking where is the place for breakfast

No hot water or selection of tea bags.

Excellent breakfast at restaurant on ground floor.

However, there were many children who made a lot of noise and splashed water everywhere by the pool the entire time we were there - there were no times where, for example, only adults had access.

The pool bar isn't open; you call the front desk and can order from the few options that are offered - only one type of beer and wine for alcoholic drinks.

The pool and gym were in maintenance during our stay, however from my memory from our 1st stay, the pool is very instagram-worthy with heaps of sun-beds.

While waiting for the elevators to the rooms, you can look down on the 40th floor pool, which is a nice size for laps or relaxing.

One thing lacking would be the poolside bar which is closed, and there is no food/drinks for us to order while enjoying ourselves in that area.

The pool hours seem irregular since we were informed that it was open until 10 PM, but one evening it closed at 8 PM instead.

Also no one on the pool bar, it was a self-service via a telephone, would be good to have someone there serving drinks

The pool was quite cold, maybe 21 - 23 degrees, fine for swimming, but far too cold to relax in the pool.

The 40th floor pool was gorgeous and located within a nearly enclosed roof, ensuring lots of shade during the brutally hot afternoons.

The pool and the gym were great and both had a full view on the city centre that was nearby (by car).

I get to enjoy the saltwater pool almost entirely at certain times, lounge at the sun loungers, just write and reflect there.

We used the pool on the 9th floor which was accessible via a different set of lifts which was a bit inconvenient.

Having waitstaff actively engaging with guests around the pool—taking orders and offering refreshments—would create a much more lively and inviting atmosphere.

Swimming pool was occupied by a big group of men who took most of the space, with loud music and smoking.

Surprisingly, the swimming pool was exceptionally clean, and the water was refreshingly cold, which made our swim all the more enjoyable.

The pool isn't heated, so better to freeze a little bit, especially when you take a dip in the morning.

Although there is no kids’ pool, our kids still had a great time with the simply designed pool.

Would have been nice to have been told that the pool, a highlight of the hotel was closed

The pool is the best space. I could have stayed there for hours with a book.

Only disappointment was that the pool shower drains were blocked - maintenance had been overlooked.

The shower room and toilet at the pool side needs some cleaning or renovation.

Plus the pool was very cold as it is fully covered and dark.

Unfortunately the pool and gym were under renovation when I was there.

And every single morning they started drilling and knocking at 9:00.

The pool is amazing and the view just breathtaking!

Especially liked the salt water pool on the rooftop.

The pool and bar are terrific.

If you drive, you have to park your car at M1, then take lift up to G and then from G go to level 41. After that you will take another lift to move to your room that’s located in between 35th-39th floor. Altogether, 4 lift you have to change.

I have told the reception I am feeling unwell and can he pass the room card to me first I can go take a rest first and my husband will check in with him but he just ask me for waiting.

While arriving from the LRT link bridge, one need to travel to the ground floor (Hoping the lift is working), then have to ask to realised that one have to use another lift to get to 41st floor (actual lobby).

Payment issues here (we were double-charged 5 years ago and almost didn't come back) - this time a policy of ignoring booking.com card reservations and insisting on security payments up front by credit rather than debit card.

For example, if you park at floor m1, you need to take lift until Floor G, then transfer to another lift until floor 41st, after that another transfer to your room which i feel abit annoying.

The reception is on the 41st floor, and the guest rooms are only on the 35th to 40th floors, so you need to go to the 41st floor and transfer to another elevator to go down.

Reached hotel at 5.30pm after 9 hours on the road due to long jam at Malaysia immigration n was told one of our rooms is not ready, have to wait 45 min to get it prepared.

The check in can be better managed, was given a wrong door card, when reflected front desk did a great job on resolving the issue and extended late check for us due to this mistake.

The only inconvenience was that in order to get to your rooms, you always need to head up to the lobby (41 floor), and then head down to your rooms.

The reception is on the 41st floor.. You need to take one elevator to reach the 41st floor and then take another elevator to the floor with your room

When we came to the hotel to check in around 4:30pm, we were told that the room was not ready because the hotel was fully booked the night before.

You have to change lifts just to get from the station entrance to the main hotel lobby, and then you take a third lift to your room floor.

I had vomit all the way from Bentong to your hotel but when arrive just told me waiting there and really long wait for check in.

We were also not given much information at check in regarding breakfasts, shuttles, breakfast in the room etc so missed out a couple of things.

We also really appreciated the hotel’s flexibility with a late check-out, which gave us extra time to enjoy the space and avoid feeling rushed.

Late check in because the room has not yet been cleaned so we need to wait for 30 minutes untill allowed to enter room

The check in is not easy as the lobby is at Lev 41 and need to change lift to get to the room.

G floor no concierge. If you were dropped off to G floor, expect no one to help you carry your bags/luggage up.

It’s a bit of a hassle to switch from the main elevator to the secondary elevator to get to your room.

Despite checking in just after midnight, room service was available and absolutely delicious, saving us from going to bed hungry.

For example, when we requested assistance from a bellboy, it took more than half an hour for them to arrive.

The check-in of Alila is on the 41st floor, the same floor with the fine dining restaurant Entier.

There was no effort being made to make us feel better for the long wait for check-in.

We only got our room key at 5:50pm when the check in time is at 3pm.

The reception/room service called in to wish and send over a cake on my birthday.

After indicating my displeasure, suddenly a room became available n we can check in.

The soft service at check-in and reception left a bit to be desired.

Access via lift to 41 then change to another lift to room

Check-in was smooth and I was allowed to check-in around 1pm.

They eventually sent up some fruit with a generic note.

The food selection was pretty varied for a smaller space, with an egg station, Western section, pastries, a noodle and congee station, and the standout for me, Malaysian and Indian specialties.

When we went in to the restaurant at 9.05 they told us the kitchens had closed at 9, and they would not serve us any food or drink.

The restaurants are constantly fully with no allocations to hotel guests (as the restaurants are not managed by the hotel I was told).

The staff Regie in the restaurant of breakfast catering is very dedicated to the hotel and provides a good image to the hotel.

The restaurant on the 41st floor has the most amazing view and the meal I had there was just out of this world.

Had dinner at Entiere one night and quite good - very tasty but rushed through as told that Kitchen shutting at 9pm.

I ordered fish n chips and woah did it feel like I was just drinking oil. Never had anything this greasy before.

I happened to pass by Alila Bangsar during a short break and decided to stop in for a coffee and cake.

Keep up the great work — I’m already looking forward to my next visit and discovering more of your delicious treats.

Dress code due to our footwear was not allowed - disappointed as we specially booked this hotel to enjoy fine dining.

It’s clear they’ve made a great investment in their dessert team, and it shows in both the creativity and quality.

The "pho" we had said it came with lightly cooked beef slices but bruh... ours was chewy, grey and overcooked.

The breakfast options were also rather limited and the quality of the individual items could have been better for sure.

A bar to sit and have a drink would have been nice as the immediate neighbourhood didn’t offer anything.

There was an amazing restaurant in the same building I thought we'd be getting food from their kitchen but....

In the bar, the gin and tonic was served with tonic from a can. Doesn't fit the ambiance.

I ordered the Alila Signature Cake — a delightful Orange Chocolate Mousse — paired with an iced latte.

F&B from the Botanico (paretner on groudn floor): meh (e.g. plain rice for nasi lemak instead of...lemak rice).

Restaurant staff need to be more careful, they left a slippery area unattended and my uncle fell down.

Atika treats guests like VIPs at the restaurant, adding a personal greeting touch that truly stands out.

Guess their pastry department is putting a lot of effort to craft all these exquisite desserts... 😍

The other restaurant, Entier, was a very pleasant surprise to me which I’ll write about separately.

The culinary offerings were exceptional, with a diverse menu showcasing both local and international flavors.

To my pleasant surprise, their dessert selection has expanded since my last visit.

Only thing missing is a proper bar for evening drinks!

The food is the only hiccup in this hotel

The restaurant was able to make vegetarian swaps.

Room service was good with decent dining options.

Apparently what we ordered was not too nice.

We had a reasonable evening meal there.

Parking is not complimentary, it cost 19rm a day (multiple entry) however we are okay with the cost as the parking facilities was great- very clean, very well lit and convenient as well cause you can park on the premium floor (first floor upon entry).

Additionally, we first checked in and decided to head back out and we were charged RM10 for 2 hours parking when we only stayed less than an hour to change and leave (total spent RM46 on just parking for virtually a few hours).

I believe the arrows and directional markings for the way up should be reviewed and made more visible, as they can be easily missed or obstructed, which may cause confusion for first-time guests.

There is no complimentary parking - although a flat fee is charged per day for multiple entries, and can be validated with a Touch and Go card.

In addition, the parking fee was very expensive, and I was overcharged more than RM100 for less than 24 hours, even after adding an extension.

When entered the hotel parking, the driving direction is opposite of our usual drive way, it caused the blind spot area when I turned.

The parking was a bit difficult as you need to go thru 3 different lifts to get to your car from your room

Parking design is weird, a bit hassle to get from the car park to the hotel room but understandable after staff explain.

The hotel allows you to park for just RM 5 per exit and the car park is clean, well lit and nice!

I have yet to receive a refund from Alila, and the communication from the team regarding this matter has been lacking.

The only inconvenience was having to validate our parking card (Tap n Go) at the hotel reception each time we left.

For Guest, rm5 per day (must validate at the reception level 41 before you leave every time - otherwise, it’s rm5/hour)

After parking, we had to change elevators three times just to reach the room, which is unacceptable for a hotel.

The only part that I find out is the way to the parking area, it is quite complicated and confused.

If you use the parking, you have to through 3 different elevators to get to your car every time.

Parking a bit small & needs to pay with flat rate, remember to verify your T&G before exit.

However, after I parked my car and arrived at the lobby, the interior of the hotel surprised me.

Driving around the parking area is difficult because have to keep to the right instead of the left.

Parking design is weird, a bit hassle to get from the car park to the hotel room.

This added inconvenience only worsened our experience and left us questioning the value provided by your hotel.

Upon arrival, you'll need to park your car and proceed to the reception on the 41st floor.

Told to park in front of a giant sign that said 'park at your own risk'.

Created quite some inconvenience having to get a new ticket to exit the parking every day.

Parking was RM20 for unlimited entries, would’ve been better if it was a lower rate.

Firstly, the parking direction/signage to go up may be problematic.

Parking should be free for guess or only charge once.

Exchanging of lifts for three times to get to carpark.

Have to pay RM5 for each entry/exit from carpark

Also carpark need to go from back

Carpark is 5 RM per hour.

Getting to the hotel is also very convenient, whether by taxi, which is relatively inexpensive, or via the metro, since Alila is connected by bridge to the train station.

Easy to access from Sentral, where the airport train arrives, then one stop to Bangsar on the red line, easy to use the trains to most places from Sentral.

To get to rooms from ground floor lobby, you have to take a lift up to reception on 41st floor, then another lift to your floor for room

Have to take lift from carpark to lobby, then take lift again to level 41 for checkin lobby , then go to another lift go for hotel rooooommmmmm.

Getting to the room from the parking area required taking three different lifts, which was actually quite inconvenient and annoying. (Approximately, 20mins ish depending on the crowd)

And from car park to room - lift down to ground floor lobby, and another lift to reception 41st floor, and another lift to your room floor

It's inconvenient as we have to take 3 lifts to go from carpark to ground floor, then to lobby and a final lift to the rooms.

This is something that you want to take into the account since you might be coming in and out of the car parks a few times.

That said, I guess that's just the cost to be high up enough to have a spectacular view but still have easy access to transport.

Even if their equivalent of Uber (Grab) was very affordable, being unable to reach a desired destination by foot took away from the experience.

The complimentary chauffer service really helped alot in getting around, to Mid-valley or KL Sentral nearby if you dont feel like taking the LRT.

Just across the sky bridge from bangsar LRT station as well, super easy to get to from the airport with the KLIA ekspres.

They also do provide free chauffeur services to 3 nearby malls in Bangsar, but its subject to availability as it's a sedan vehicle.

I asked for a taxi from reception and they booked me one that 1) wasn't metered 2) cash only 3) had no change.

A little tedious to get to the hotel (3 lift rides if from the LRT). Extremely congested during peak hours if driving.

Taking two elevators to get to the room can take a while, even if generally they are always available straight away.

A one-way car booking was quoted RM150 (GRAB at a surcharge rate was only RM 40) for a 5.5 KM trip.

An external laundry service (Jara) is only 3 minutes away, and the hotel is directly connected to the MRT overpass.

There's a bridge walk that connects the hotel to the metro station across the road, which is super convenient.

LRT station which in interconnected to the hotel only one travel station to reach KL central and Nu Central.

The hotel is linked to the Bangsar LRT station making it super convenient to get around the city.

Was told to pick up my stored luggage at ground floor but was still at reception 41st floor.

I was very disappointed with this part of the service and when ordering a taxi, expected a taxi.

It is a very inexpensive Grab ride to many districts that have shopping dining and much more.

Connection to the metro is only through a detour on the ground floor

The only positive point is the direct bridge linking to the MRT.

The convenience of their shuttle service to three different locations

Direct access to LRT bringing you to good locations.

Very good connectivity options, access to public transport.

The gym is quite poorly equipped, free weights up to 25kg and two machines: one for the lower back and one for the biceps - unfortunately no multipress, cable tower, or anything that would allow proper strength training.

The pool and the gym were great and both had a full view on the city centre that was nearby (by car).

There is also a gym that has a cardio equipment (treadmill, elliptical, bike and rowing) and a decent selection of weights/machines.

The gym and swimming pool is excellent especially the swimming pool with the beautiful and ecstatic view.

We love the pool and gym as well as the hot drink facilities with snacks.

The gym was a bit sad...treadmills, ellipticals, and a couple of benches with some dumbbells.

Almost another typical hotel gym with more cardio machines and some free weights.

The gym is also one of my favorite features of this hotel.

Just some free weights (highest is 25 i think) and some machines.

Unfortunately the pool and gym were under renovation when I was there.

From the pool to the gym are beautifully designed.

Used the gym and satisfied with the equipments.

Nobody here does a pull day I guess.

Gym was clean with great view.

Well maintain gym although basic.

Gym wasn’t particularly well equipped.

There is a small gym.

Gym could be better though.

Definitely could use more machines.
