We stayed at Else KL for a special celebration, and the hotel team went above and beyond with a lovely surprise setup in our room — such a thoughtful touch!
Even though we are not staying at the hotel ,today we got a bit stuck with no Internet and my wife needed the rest room
A huge thank-you to Else Kuala Lumpur for allowing us to end our stay in Malaysia on such a wonderful note.

We very much enjoyed the atmosphere throughout the hotel, it was like walking into and around an art gallery.
Else Hotel KL stands out as a property that remains genuinely exciting after years of frequent travel.
Although this is a really perfect hotel it lacks a bit of ambiance and warmth .

We are architects and are very focused on design. This was such a great experience.
We had a very pleasant stay at Else Kuala Lumpur for my wife's birthday!!
It’s a 10 out of 10. We will definitely recommend here to our friends.

Title: Much of it close to perfect – great potential for a 9/10
Amazing! definitely will come back again! and recommend the hotel to my friends!
We were there with friends the week before Chinese Lunar New Year.

I would say this is the best hotel i ever stayed in
But still was a fantastic experience. Would highly recommend this place.
It was a shame as we really enjoyed our stay.

I made right decision choosing Else for this stay period.
Overall I felt it was great value for the money.
When next in KL this is where I will stay.

I can’t express how much I love this hotel.
Highly recommended as a top of mind boutique hotel.
I had a PLEASANT stay in KL this time!!

LOVE LOVE LOVE AND CANT WAIT TO COME BACK!
The hotel feels very well curated and peaceful,
The aesthetic of the place was just great.

Will definitely book again next time in KL.
Conclusion: It is not the location but construction defects that cause the massive nighttime noise. However, this was conveyed to the guest differently. Not recommended as long as the windows are not professionally sealed or replaced. Being jolted awake several times during the night is extremely unhealthy.
The term 'Luxury Small Boutique Hotel' is so often exaggerated !! - however, not in the case of Else KL !! - this is definitely a Luxury Boutique Hotel !! - it has everything the 'discerning traveller' could want and more !!

While our initial experience had room for improvement, we felt heard and valued as guests. We look forward to seeing how the service evolves on our next visit and are hopeful for a more seamless stay.
An incredibly stylish, beautiful, clean hotel; the design deserves a special mention: every detail of the hotel, right down to the chairs in the common area, is a separate work of art.
We recently stayed at Else Kuala Lumpur and, while the design and concept of the hotel were impressive, there were a few service issues and missed preferences that impacted our experience.

You will be welcomed and greeted by the team of the staff in Else, at anytime and everyone! They will politely ask you is everything ok with the facilities & services, and if you needed anything, their respond is immediate. They give it to you right away. I personally like how they explain everything to you CLEAR AND EASY to understand. You can really feel their teamwork is at excellent level. We even get to meet the GM during our breakfast, which is very nice.
I recently had the pleasure of staying at Else Hotel, and I cannot praise it enough. From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional. The hotel staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, even guiding us to our ride and accompanying us with umbrellas when it was raining. Their warmth and attentiveness truly made our stay special.
Also, when I asked for services (towel and iron), I did not like how the staff came into the room as my guest was in the shower at that time (mind you, the shower and toilet were covered with frosted glass so it is rather translucent and one of the staff present was a male.

First off, it is absolutely imperative that I start off my review with the fact and statement that without Nick, I doubt our stay at ELSE would have been anything spectacular.
99% of our stay WAS MADE amazing purely because of Nick and his tremendous hospitality and effort to make our stay as comfortable and welcoming as possible.
On occasion staff were a little bit too preoccupied on their phones or having conversations with each other to the point of ignoring guests

I would also like to highlight the attentiveness of the staff: the employees were very polite, caring, and always ready to help.
Amazing Exceptional staff and service. Some of the best in the world. Particularly impressed with Vanessa at Yellow Fin Horse restaurant.
Vanessa from the hotel rooftop bar also gave some fantastic suggestions to eat and galleries to check out cool art.

Best hotel staff ever especially at the Raw Kitchen. They were very professional, knowledgeable, extremely polite, friendly and helpful.
From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and cared for.
A special thank you to the team for decorating the room with a cupcake and a handwritten note.

The housekeeping team deserves praise for flawlessly executing a birthday surprise—every detail was thoughtfully arranged and perfectly delivered.
Else remembered us as a frequently returning customer and left us a little note and some chocolates.
So the porters offering help with your bags at the door felt a bit sketchy

Everything is impeccably maintained, with the staff regularly ensuring that every area remains perfect.
The WA chat was a super convenient way to communicate w the team/concierge.
The staff made us feel celebrated with towel swans for our honeymoon.

You can liaise with just about anything through WhatsApp at any time.
Staff is welcoming and gracious. Naga was especially helpful and friendly.
(although the service was a bit over attentive at times).

It was like staying with family with very friendly staff
Aleia who greeted us was brilliantly helpful and welcoming.
A very personalised stay, with care from staff.

The staff are very helpful, friendly, and courteous.
The staff was very accommodating and professional.
The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Incredibly nice, helpful, attentive, and warm staff
Staff were super friendly and helpful.
Especially Aleia at reception is extraordinary.

We had a moment of shock as we booked way in advance and had confirmations and reminders from Booking.com. (Have never encountered this experience with all previous Booking.com reservations). Maybe worthwhile to update room description that there are no triple rooms or extra (roll in) bed available, all rooms are made for 2 pax. However we were able to book for 3 pax on Booking.com. It came as a surprise that the third person had to sleep on the sofa (not a pull out bed),
If I had to call out what I didn't like, it was that we had to struggle a bit with the lights. Card didn't appear to work initially and we spent sometime taking out and inserting the card and flipping the switches. Also there doesn't seem to be a way to switch off all the room lights except the toilet's, which meant we had to sleep with some lights on.
The bathroom has a beautiful design but against the light in the room its very see-through, i love my partner but I crave a bit of privacy when going to the restroom, it looks really cool but a little curtain wouldnt hurt, I literally went to the pool restroom everytime I needed to go

The room is extra-ordinary. Their designs are spectacular and made it feels more like home. I personally liked their taste of choosing simple things like adding good quality bluetooth speakers with wireless charging, high quality TV, THE BED & pillow is super comfort, artistic cups, good quality body wash/ shampoo & good quality slippers.
The little touches really set it apart from other hotels: an Else bag provided for the duration of the stay, the option to choose a pillow from several choices, herbal tea placed in the room each evening to encourage relaxation…
As happens in most hotels, they use a doona, but no flat sheet, I took the doona out of the cover & used that as a sheet, finally slept better (still with aircon on)

The hotel offered to change our room, but no price reduction (“because of booking.com”) and said that the calls to prayer could be heard everywhere. We stayed in the room.
The Window can be not towards the neighbor building wall will be better. However, the rest facility are good and houseware are very high quality and comfortable.
The room smelt really good as we stepped in and the design is definitely my vibe - modern + raw, so i really love it!

The guest rooms feature a curated selection of premium brands including Aesop amenities, Harman Kardon audio, Dyson hair dryers, and Lululemon yoga mats.
On my last night I needed sleep for an early flight, there was a party being held on rooftop above my room.
The issue with window frame - it could not be tightly closed, so there was quite intense noise even at night.

The cute coffee mugs and other small items found in the room. The room itself was spacious and well decorated.
Location (for us), fabulous room, service is outstanding and breakfast is high quality - with Daniel and his team.
My sister and I stayed here in February 2026 Good size room, plenty storage, immaculate and very clean

Thank you to the hotel for decorating my room for my birthday and giving me complimentary birthday cake.
Sound proofing for first floor rooms could be better. could cleaning hear car honking. body lotion not provided.
My husband and I were surprised by the lovely “Happy Birthday" decorations as we entered our room.

Our room was located right above the pool and restaurant, which had its pros and cons.
We booked a room for two but before our trip wanted to add another person.
Comfortable bed however the room is without any armchair to sit on except one stool.

We were upgraded to a suite for our honeymoon and it was a nice touch.
The bed linen was exquisitely luxurious and the tech so up to the minute!
The room was a lovely size, allowing us to spread out and relax.

The room had everything I needed, the bathroom was spacious & great amenities.
The beds were very comfortable and the room was small but nice.
We also love the shower accessories, smell so good. Bathroom is clean.

More wall hooks to hang clothes / towels in the bathroom.
Aircond is not too cold, a little warm, not sure why.
But we were granted a room move when we requested.

I loved the location in the heart of Chinatown. One of the reasons I picked the hotel was the location. It’s literally a minute walk away from the most interesting places in Chinatown and it’s across from a local street market. The hotel overlooks an old Chinese temple/school.
And the location of the hotel was excellent and was a much welcome haven of respite from the colour and chaos of the Chinatown area so we could easily pop in and out for breaks when it got too hot in the afternoons.
I loved the location. And this was the big reason why we chose the hotel. But some people might be turned off by the reality of being in the middle of historic Chinatown with the city bustle and street life.

Its impossible to get somewhere except china town and central market on feet from the hotel. Three are few options of restaurant around. Because walking is not very comfortable in surroundings.
Also a great location, I like when you can stay near your hotel at night- lots of bars and restaurants within walking distance and felt very safe.
The location in Chinatown is not nice at all, far from the centre and there were homeless people basically sleeping outside of the main door

The location was perfect. It's close to Chinatown and the night market. There are three homeless men across the street, but they are harmless.
The one night we were there, the road was being re-laid after midnight! The construction noise felt like it was in the room.
I was not a fan of the location. The nearby street with the long market felt dangerous. I didn't feel safe after dark

Location: Ideal. Many sights are within walking distance, with numerous cafés, bars, and excellent street food less than 10 minutes away.
For night owls the morning prayers at the mosque start a bit early (06.15 am); but they lend an undeniable ambience.
Nearby, egg tarts and tofu pudding, among other foods, can fill you up to your heart's content for around MYR10.

It jus avoided the jam street of petaling while nestled in a quiet corner among the flowers shops.
I had an amazing stay at Else hotel, it is near the entrance of Petaling Street Market.
Do love the location, it is central to a lot of tourist spots and fabulous F&B.

Location is very close to China town and it was pretty noise during the night.
It’s also close to attractions like the Perdana Botanical Garden and the Butterfly Park.
Worth every penny. Loved being in China town all the hustle and bustle.

I agree with some of the other reviewers who mentioned the street noise.
Local "hawker" & local food are plenty to choose from as well.
Great hotel and in perfect location to explore KL's China Town

But there was still no noise heard so that was nice.
We could hear everything from the bustling streets of Chinatown.
00:30–04:00: Street noise with motorcycle peaks (approximately 40–50 dB).

As the hotel is located in the city center
We also thought the location was very good!
The location is perfect for visitting many sights...

Amazing place in the middle of the city.
And location in the heart of Chinatown.
Highly recommended for visiting Kuala Lumpur

The interior is an experience of contrasts --- light and shadow, open space and intimate coves, solid forms and plushness --- the architects (whom I've come to know are Farah Azizan and Adela Askandar of Studio Bikin) have reimagined this building in ways (e.g. full-height windows on one side of the building) that allow for it to be looked into, as well as for guests to look out into the bustling outside.
As a creative designer & a photographer, I personally love the interior design and structural building of Else Kuala Lumpur. Every designs you can find in the property is minimal and they have always keeping it clean. Great wall color contrast and soft lighting throughout the lobby area and dining area.
The interior feels very dreamy & idyllic. They’ve transformed the interior of a historical building while preserving the original facade, I would say akin to those on Wall St. etc. Every floor has different & interesting decor. The Bluetooth speaker they provided made the stay even more enjoyable.

The complimentary water bottle is nice because its filled in a glass bottle, I really like that. Just be really careful while opening the sealed-cap, you'll be fine after you've learned the technique on how to open it without breaking the seal off.
The hotel strikes a perfect balance between modern luxury and thoughtful design, with a calm, understated atmosphere that feels like a retreat right in the heart of the city, which is Chinatown.
First of all, the design is incredible. Every little detail is beautifully crafted and curated with so much care and attention, from the furniture to the decoration in the common spaces.

Except this nearby on the wall of hotel building were mounted about dosen outer blocks of air conditions, which had been working all night while we slept.
The place is enhanced by refined décor, the choice of materials, the furnishings, and the interplay of light and even sound.
The fitout of this extensive hotel conversion is divine and exceptional. Lots of pocket of spaces to discover and appreciate.

Art heaven!! The tasteful local art and artist in residence work added a layer of culture and character.
The complimentary alcoholic drink is too sweet, at least offer a beer or glass of wine instead.
We loved the way they converted the old Lee Rubber Building into a beautiful boutique hotel.

AND DECOR AND THE BUSINESS CENTRE WAS IDEAL TO SPEND A FEW HOURS WORKING.
Incredible attention to detail with the aesthetics and colour palette, cosy, earthy tones
Facilities such as library, gym, pool and cozy spaces were extremely exquisite.

The layout, library, style, artwork and the general ambience and decor.
I loved the design, the layout, the interior design, the artworks.
Communal areas were also very comfortable - lots of seating areas

It was also disappointing that the changing room space was limited.
The prayer room and the swimming pool are a plus.
Practiced green actions like not cleaning the room daily option

And that they provided us with water every day.
Absolutely beautiful facilities with beautiful interior and well-curated art.
The facilities and service were excellent, needless to say.

The interiors of the hotel is really beautiful!
Very clean hotel, well maintained in every detail
The atmosphere was both elegant and relaxing.

However they provide umbrella throughout the day
The aesthetics are definitely to die for,
Decor of the hotel was unique.

We only tried the breakfast, so I cannot comment on the rest of the restaurant dishes, but it was excellent. Over the three days we stayed, we tried both sweet and savoury options, and everything was tasty, fresh, and filling. I usually skip hotel breakfasts as I am not a big fan of continental breakfasts, but this one was outstanding. Everything is prepared fresh and made to order, not left sitting in food warmers for hours.
Breakfast is rated 10/10, usually as we known are buffets, but in Else, we are served with fruit platters, Starters, Main course & your choice of Coffee. Its a different experience, and the portion are handled perfectly enough for a breakfast, so I won't have that bad habit of taking/having too much portion than I could consume.
After one or two days the set breakfast menu starts to feel a bit like a 'straitjacket'. Some of the dishes are really nice (the soto ayam for example) but the breakfast dishes are a bit arty-farty which somehow does not always work well at the start of the day.

Breakfast service was pretty chaotic and a lot of options not available, staff not super attentive/meals forgotten, one of the female wait staff was quite rude Probably would eat breakfast outside the hotel next time and definitely wouldn’t add breakfast unless it’s already included with your stay!
If anything that the breakfast is a la carte and always the same, if you stay for several days it can be limited (they do offer different choices, but depending on preference there may only be 1 or 2 you like)
The dishes offered at breakfast are high-quality and fairly elaborate, but perhaps it would be appropriate to add simpler dishes to the menu that would satisfy teenagers and children. But this is only a minor detail.

The ala carte breakfast set offered are unique but it will be great if photos and portion are also shown. The breakfast can offered more localized options like laksa as it is quite international.
Breakfast was included with the room stay, and it was excellent. I liked that we were given a la carte options, thus ensuring that there was less waste all round compared to a buffet.
While I understand the hotel is surrounded by many local stalls and restaurants, it may be nice to include a bit more local options in the in room dining menu or breakfast menu.

Breakfast was diverse during our stay. There were about 5 starters and 6 main courses to choose from menu and several pieces of pineapple, watermelon and jackfruit 6 pieces in the sum.
The breakfast menu is a breath of fresh air, stepping away from the typical buffet format, and offering healthy yet adventurous options for a guest who might be new to Malaysia.
Breakfast was served very slow, there was only one table earlier than us but it still took us almost an hour from start to finish

The breakfast menu was good too- again very tasty meals ( the parfait, pastries, hash and soto ayam were good).
Asked for breakfast to go and they prepared a very nice breakfast and hot coffee which was great.
Breakfast was a selection of fruit, muesli, toast, and then cooked breakfast, all of which was delicious.

We would have loved a cup of English tea unfortunately they only have Chinese tea available.
Breakfast is good. Cooked to order, not buffet. Not a large selection, but enough.
The breakfast is delicious; they offer fruit and a choice of two dishes.

The breakfast options were varied and tasty, making mornings a delight.
A la carte Breakfast makes a welcome change from buffet.
Breakfast and dinner at the raw kitchen is really good.

It's a menu where you choose starters and mains.
And Santos so attentive to your breakfast requests.
Breakfast not buffet style thus a little restrictive

Breakfast is delicious, esp the kaya toast!
And the breakfast was fantastic!
Breakfast portions are very generous.

Excellent à la carte breakfast
And the breakfast was amazing,
Delicious à la carte breakfast

The Restaurant Raw. They need to up their game. It is already popular with the young hip crowd and again the ambiance is great, however some things like not having a proper wine list and even though there is a small menu not having a few dishes available is pretty disappointing.
With a great wine bar on the same level. The hotel restaurant was very good, but full of instagram wannabees. it seemed that most people turned up with large bunches of flowers and just wanted to take photos of food/flowers/themselves rather than eating.
The hotel, and especially the restaurant, is great! We were served very kindly, attentively, and warmly, especially in the restaurant. The food (dinner à la carte) was excellent, and if it were near us, we would certainly be regular guests.

Second observation waiter is having a pen and writing on the hand my order of 2 items it can't remember 2 items. This is luxury hotel it should have been trained enough. Street restaurant are not writing on the hand.
The restaurant Raw kitchen and restaurant/bar Yellow Fin Horse were fab. The food was authentic without being overwhelming, and they were plenty of great Western options in case guest want to take a break from the local food.
In the restaurant, food is ok interesting concept but main courses I am missing freshness when I eat. Everything is cooked very long and at the end is dry (maybe not cooked on the day).

The wine list and prices at Raw kitchen? ( just a lobby restaurant really) are far too limited and too expensive for a boutique hotel. Rm65 for a glass of wine is really a rip-off
The chicken pokey ball dish I ordered for room service was heaven too, the chicken was made sous vide style i believe, then charred, was the best best combination to the entire dish.
Restaurant bookings were also a bit confusing—we received confirmations, but when we arrived, the reservations could not be found (this was resolved on the spot, so it was not a major issue).

Our first meal in KL was at a nearby spot recommended by Aisha, and our last meal at Else was served by Aisha and her wonderful colleagues Brenda and Siam.
Dinner at yellow fin horse is a must, the restaurant host was so great and the chefs were so lovely! Food very yummy and well priced wine!
Staff was not really prepared to provide suggestions or alternatives and for lunch, the portion was quite small and I ended up ordering the same thing twice.

The chefs at Raw (downstairs) and Yellow Fin Horse (upstairs, with the rooftop pool for swimming laps) are amazing, especially Chef Jun Wong and her team.
The dining experience also improves upon the standard hotel model by replacing the buffet with a made to order menu of fresh starters and mains.
The food at the restaurant was absolutely delicious, and I must give a special shout-out to Brenda, who provided outstanding table service throughout my meals.

The rooftop bar’s wine menu also was really good with unusual wines available such as orange wines, and organic wines.
I have been trying to replicate the dish at home and I just could not get it right.
And the most sumptious, creative local food, especially in the Yellow Fin upstairs. Great cocktails too.

Food is yummy, hotel is clean and overall experience for solo traveller meeting expectation.
Food and staff at RAW was amazing ! Esp the açaí bowl
Unfortunately, we could not return the bottle—in other words, exchange it.

You should definitely visit the in-house bar at least once.
Small food portions at Raw; please offer larger portions
The cocktails were very nice downstairs on ground floor.

The restaurant by the pool is being refurbished
Bright and welcoming restaurant on the ground floor.
The restaurant space is very beautiful though.

Helping us book the restaurant upstairs
Large open restaurant/bar on ground floor.
Brilliant dining experience especially the breakfast.

We did order some drinks and snacks while at the pool and it did take a little long to get that but it wouldn’t stop me from staying here again.
The rooftop pool is a delight for a zen moment in the middle of the day when you come from a hot and buzzing morning in the city .
Oh ya, not to mention the rooftop pool with stunning view of the KL landscape! Beautiful both at night and during the day.

We would have liked to take a shower before leaving, but we only found the outdoor pool shower on the fourth floor.
The pool (area) is convenient (despite not having any sunny spots since it was built on the shady side of the hotel).
A lack of space around the pool. It quickly becomes overcrowded if too many guests are there at the same time.

The service at the pool was not entirely to our satisfaction—in other words, the wine selection was somewhat too specialized.
The salt water pool was great for the hot days and just taking a break from walking around the city.
The pool on the fourth floor is beautiful, large enough, and very peaceful, with a view of the skyscrapers.

There are a pool and a bar on the 4th floor but we didn’t had time to try them.
The pool was super inviting and we used it twice on a short two night stay !
Friendly staff, quality breakfast, and a small but pleasant rooftop pool at the end of the day!

There is a good pool area, though the method of ordering poolside snacks/drinks is a little clumsy.
Pool open until 10pm which is great to come back after dinner and have a swim
I got to watch a storm brewing in the distance after a swim in the pool.

We weren’t informed that the pool wasn’t available nor was any sign posted informing the guest.
We also appreciated every space: the reading and work area, the gym, and the pool.
Additionally, the outdoor pool was impeccably clean and offered plenty of seating options for relaxation.

Deep swimming pool which means less kids and more peace and private for couple
Had lots of areas like the pool deck that you could relax in
I like the swimming pool on the top floor very relaxing

They have a great rooftop pool that you can’t miss.
Amazing pool with an interesting view of the city.
Lacking daybed and pool bed around the pool.

And the pool is such a highlight.
Very nice infinity pool on the roof
The pool is really very pleasant.

The pool has an incredible view.
And a lovely swimming pool.
Nice pool with views

Check-in / Check-out: What guests say
View Else Kuala Lumpur, a member of Design Hotels42 relevant reviews

They were even able to accommodate a half day rate for us to be able to use the room into the evening as our flight was late at night.
They asked us to leave a €160 deposit, which was refunded at checkout; this was not specified anywhere, and the customer should be informed in advance
The service provided by Nick was outstanding from the start, as he secured a workspace to ensure productivity during the wait for check in.

Perhaps they should ask “do you want me to explain all the facilities?” because some guests prefer to just get a key
That, according to the hotel, it takes 7 to 14 days for them to release the deposit and refund the money.
I had made an error during the booking but the management very kindly allowed me to find a work around.

The service is below par. From not being able to find my booking and checking in took some 15 mins
However despite the hotel cancelling the booking on their system they never accepted the request on booking.com for cancellation.
At check-in, a “charming” note with earplugs enclosed points out the noise that is to be accepted in KL.

After having an unpleasant stay at another hotel we quickly checked out and made a reservation at the Else.
We were promptly greeted by Jimmy and escorted to the reception where Aleia helped check us into our room.
They messed up the check with back office and front office working in parallel without knowing of it others.

They allowed an early check in which was absolutely amazing as i did not need to wait till 2pm.
I managed to get a late check out- thanks to the convenient Suite pad on the nightstand.
Took unusually long time to check in even though there was nobody queuing in front of me

We had accidentally booked the wrong dates and weren’t able to modify to the right dates.
And when we checked in, they even sent us city guides with recommendations for great places,
Check in was smooth and we were able to check in early and check out late

Although are checking-in time was very late, we were welcomed with a great smile and hospitality.
The property couldn't find my Booking.com reservation, was told on arrival the hotel was fully booked.
They allowed me to have a late check-out since my flight departed in the afternoon.

To check in. We were given a lovely welcome drink and seated to check in.
And even a accommodated our request for early check-in when we arrived earlier than expected.
On my last day, as I had to check out at 6 am

We had arrived earlier than the usual check-in hour
From checking in to checking out was impeccable.
That made our CHECK OUT SUPER EFFORTLESS

And even accommodated our early check-in
I said this.on the check out
The fussy free check in-out process

Yes, if you travelled by car (own transport) you will have difficulties to look for a space to park your car. Of course, there are several Chargeable Car Park available, but do take note that not every is attended for 24 hours.
No designated parking, must park at a private carpark 2 mins walk from the hotel with exorbitant rate (RM63 - parked at 7pm on a Friday and went out at 9am the next day, u do the math).
Parking is a hassle, as there is no actual 'hotel parking lot'. The hotel should try to partner with a private parking closeby to accommodate for guests who have vehicles, would really make everything 10/10.

As an alternative, I wish the hotel would collaborate with nearby parking bay providers to help move guests' luggage between the hotel itself, and where the guests park their cars.
For security reasons, I have to park at a nearby basement building (Mariamann Temple), which closes at 9pm and opens the next morning.
There's no designated parking for the hotel building, and there was barely a convenient place to park and drop off our luggage.

The open carpark cost per day is RM25, where the office building parking next to the hotel cost per day is RM10.
There is no carpark available on the property and there is an open car park just 3 minutes walk from the hotel.
A slight oversight maybe, although the nearby parking lots are cheap enough that it wasn't a big deal in the end.

For a 5 star hotel, at least valet service should be provided. Would be happy to pay for it.
Having to park next door isn't great but that is due to the nature of the refurbished building.
Parking isn’t attached to the building. There are few parking space around have to walk a little bit.

Parking: no onsite parking but hotel staff is helpful and can advise you on where to park
No dedicated car park area. car park at the vicinity is very expensive (RM 40 per day)
The parking not provided and have to pay.the room cost about rm700 but no complimentary parking.

There is parking in front of the hotel for unloading luggage and waiting for a taxi
Came with a car. they dont have a own car park but have external parking space.
It is not too convenient to drive there as they do not have an onsite carpark.

You can find free car park but be caution for securities issues that may have occur.
There is no parking, so you have to park your car at the nearby facilities.
Maybe suggest getting designated parking surrounding property for guest to park their cars. :)

Also valet parking in the city centre for only RM25 - great value!
Unfortunately the hotel doesn’t have a parking space for guests, disappointment about this.
Had to walk in the rain from the public carpark to the hotel.

If only u have your own parking facility. However, can be found elsewhere
The fact that parking is a 100m away from the building.
The alternatives suggested are less than ideal.

No proper parking space provided.
There's no hotel carpark.
No parking facilities

Traffic. As usual, in KL once the rush hour hits, most of the places situated within the city centre would be heavily affected by the traffic.
However, Else hotel are pretty near the city metro where you could take the train to the major mall at Butik Bintang or KLCC.
Else hotel is a few minutes walk from one of the biggest train stations so we could take public transport to many places.

Our Grab ride to Sentral station didn’t take too long, so it was easy to get the express train to the airport.
This really add up some bonus points. For me, I just want to avoid traffic jam/ get to the destination on time.
And to get to the city center, Grab rides are perfect and inexpensive (it takes about 10 minutes to get there)

I would highly recommend to spare the headache of driving to the hotel and opt for taxi or private hailing instead.
What my kids like was train station so near hotel and just 1 to 3 station to TRX and Pavilion.
The only minor downside was the traffic congestion around Chinatown, which made getting a taxi a little tricky at times.

We took the public transport after dinner, and there was absolutely no incident nor anybody who made us feel unsafe.
The hotel is near a Hop-On-Hop-Off bus stop—the stop is in front of the market entrance.
Hotel is next to a hop on/hop off stop for the city tour which we recommend.

Near KRT and it is easy to get a taxi to other parts of city
Grab is cheap, so its easy to get to different parts of the city
You need to get Grab each time when you want to go somewhere.

(Any Grab ride duration will depend on traffic & the time of day)
The traffic can become congested, so consider getting your ‘Grab’ a block down
And also nearby train stations which makes it easy to get around.

Have to wait for quite a bit for grab to arrive.
Didn't like that there were road construction works at 1am
No issue to find transport such as grab or trains.

When my delayed luggage was delivered from the airport
And even worst- my taxi transfer to the airport
Close to the train station which we used.

From the moment we arrived with our car
If you are driving, take this into account.
With public transport available very close by

You might want to be dropped off.
(use the GRAB app, not taxis)
After a 12h flight

I also used the fitness center, and it was a facility well suited for individual use.
The gym is clean, well-equipped, and actually enjoyable to train in, not just an afterthought.
We also appreciated every space: the reading and work area, the gym, and the pool.

The gym is clean and simple equipments can be found for some light workouts.
The gym was small but I loved their machines, especially the rowing machine.
Amenities including gym which had very high quality equipment.

The hotel also has a small gym
Don’t forget to try their gym facilities
Amenities including gym were very high quality.

Small gym and feels like an afterthought?
Small gym but with everything you need
The gym does not have many things.

Only one threadmill at the gym.
I really appreciated the gym
We really enjoyed the gym

And a good gym.
Minimalist but perfect gym.
And nice gym.

And brilliant gym

Highly recommend a massage at the spa across the road, included for free if booking directly on the hotel's website.
And a flotation pod (flotation pod not included in the price) which was a wonderfully relaxing experience.
We also tried the flotation pods and it was a really interesting experience all in all.

Would have liked to have an on-site massage facility …
A spa in the hotel would be good
If they have spas/massage service would be amazing!!

And to an excellent spa.
And floating pod!
