Unfortunately, I am a fan of the global Accor hotels and I have visited this hotel before and was impressed by it, but now just imagine, I found the furniture old and worn out, and unfortunately, I found cockroaches and insects.

The place is not really a hotel and most of the time there is only one person working in the reception area, it’s more like an apartment complex but costs way too much for an apartment complex.

Great location, great staff, i stayed at executive apartment with family it was a very peaceful and comfy stay , very clean comfortable and convenient

A nice hotel close to the Twin Towers, the staff are helpful, it's a serviced apartment system, it has a kitchen and utensils, considered average

Keep up the great job, Ascott! You are our newest favorite and we will stay at your brand again when we can find one.

So overall, I recommend it for a short stay of five to six days; anything longer than that, I would prefer another place.

I don't think it was worth the price we paid, I wouldn't choose this place for my next stay.

I would be disappointed if I had paid more but for the price I paid okay fine.

Still amazing place to stay but it’s the little things that make it 5 star.

Overall, I had a good quality sleep and it’s a home away from home

I expected better than Ascott Jakarta but I was wrong.

The property was superbly placed for sightseeing and shopping.

Overall was ok not bad but I expected more.

In case I didn't say it earlier, I have 3 small kids (1 year old, 4 years old and 5 years old) who were sweating out in the room, it's rather discomforting to spend a night in such warm condition.

After almost an hour of checking, lo and behold, he explained the aircond "probably has a blockage" and advised me to request a room change (as if that wasn't our initial option).

We really appreciated the layout of the apartment and the equipment, especially with our 10-month-old baby who could crawl around on the carpet without too much danger.

Our first bedroom aircond was warm, and we had to get maintenance to come and repair the aircond at 10PM, resulting in some noises.

The rooms smell musty maybe due to having an attached kitchen, furniture needs a bit of upgrade maybe in an years time

They do not provide water bottles because they have placed a water filter next to the sink in the kitchen area.

Also, wouldn't the hotel cleaners be the last person out so wouldn't they notice it if the balcony doors were opened?

Some facilities were broken in the apartment (drinking water tap in particular) and the apartment was pretty dirty on arrival.

We were first assigned a room that had a definite bad smell and was located on the 8th floor.

The furniture was old and poorly maintained, and there were many small black ants everywhere in the room.

The room we stayed in was huge! Perfect for the 3 of us. Bath was a bonus.

Balcony door close to kitchen cannot be locked so it is a little bit worried for kids.

The view wasn’t great and the kitchen area wasn’t as clean as I would have liked.

A pleasant and comfortable stay at the 2-bedroom premier room (1 week) with partial KLCC view.

And one bath curtain had lots of suspicious dark red dirty sputter， looks somebody murdered here.

I was disappointed to find that the shampoo and hand soap had not been replenished.

Guests should not be expected to deal with dirty water, especially in a serviced apartment.

Clearly this property didn’t bother to do proper maintenance after reopening from Covid lockdowns etc.

The size of the 2 bed apartment was perfect for a family of 5.

The air conditioning was not working properly, which made the stay very uncomfortable.

And the bathroom, pardon my expression, had a strong odor that was irritating.

Television was not well connected, most channels were blurred, no change after report.

Air conditioner not cold to my liking despite selecting the lowest temperature

Was told that the housekeeping would only change the bedsheet upon request.

Needed to call reception twice in order to get a request satisfied.

The toilet bit too small and too low for us big guy and also airconditioner not working we need to move in the middle of the night cause the room getting hot and we get a smaller bed room to stay witch is no have other choice and not same bed room also what we have book for two night staying here.

My booking was for a two-bedroom apartment. Strange, after the booking, the hotel contacted me and informed me that if I wanted to upgrade to a more luxurious room than the one I booked, I would need to pay an additional amount. They offered me between 40 to 80 ringgit per night. I chose 45 ringgit, and the upgrade was approved.

The hotel put me in a smoking apartment that wasn’t acceptable & next day they changed it to another one which was worse with a very bad smell (sewers ) so I checked out and went to another hotel even though I had one paid night left in my reservation.

My room the doors to the balcony did not close 100%, so the road noise was quite annoying overnight, being woken quite a few times from noisy motorbikes, it was only on the last day I noted the doors were unable to close tightly (bedroom balcony, room 1206)

In terms of standard of the rooms, there were visible signs of wear and tear (eg a section of the floorboards in our apartment was in a state of disrepair) but we were informed upfront of this issue, at check-in, so it was not an unexpected surprise.

Prime location, right opposite to KLCC and there is a pedestrian bridge with air con 3 mins walk from Ascott, where you can walk all the way to other prime malls including Pavilion.

Although there are now several newer and more modern apartment hotels in Bukit Bintang/KLCC vicinity, I have always come back to stay at Ascott Kuala Lumpur.

The hotel itself is on a road that is lighter trafficked and thus not as polluted as if you were staying elsewhere.

Room will be better if not advertised to show KLCC or KL tower, coz cannot see anything else except buildings.

Great location and easy 10 min to Pavillion on the walkway or 2 min to the Petronius towers.

Conveniently located within the KLCC area, just a short walk from the Petronas and nearby malls.

Being close to iconic landmarks like the Petronas Towers and shopping malls was a bonus.

Great location and spacious rooms, but the breakfast and service fell short of expectations.

Good location places are near and reachable, restaurants and shops can be found easily.

The location was superb, we were able to reach places around KL easily.

Location is also excellent being a short walk from the centre of KL.

Overall, decent location but hotel could really improve on cleanliness & maintenance.

Convenience store downstairs opens at 7am and closes quite late at night.

Brilliant location, short walk to shopping centers and loved the apartment!

It was great for shopping , dining and hailing a Taxi.

Few minutes walk to the Suria Mall and KLCC centre.

The location was perfect....right across the street from the Petronas.

The place is close to the twin towers.

Location, value, size of room and cleanliness.

Petrograd tower was literally 5 minutes away.

I arrived at 11 AM and they refused to let me in until 1 PM, even though the room was empty and the cleaning staff took over at 12. They kept delaying me, claiming it wasn't ready, even though I explained my situation that I just arrived with the kids and we are all tired and need to rest.

You can go for a run, enjoy sunset walks, have fun with children in the water play areas or sports spaces, all while accessing world cuisines in the countless restaurants offered by the 3 enormous shopping centers of KLCC illuminated by these massive Twin Towers.

Thirdly, there is a supermarket, grocery stores, and restaurants nearby; you just need to walk for about 10 minutes to reach a Pakistani restaurant, a Samad Iraqi restaurant, and also an Iranian restaurant.

Optimal location, just a few steps from some of the major shopping centers in the city, good restaurants and bars, and attractions such as the Petronas Twin Towers and the KLCC Tower.

Excellent hotel and pretty well located, 2 minutes walk to the Petronas Towers, 5 minutes to the Aquarium, to the Sky Bar, close to Pavillion Shopping Mall, restos, pubs, etc.

We requested a upgrade and she was extremely efficient in organising this as well as offering excellent advice which made our stay all the more relaxing - Please forward our gratitude to her for making us feel welcome!

The security at the hotel is very excellent, as well as the treatment of the staff and their warm welcome, especially one of the secretaries who greeted us upon our arrival and departure, may God reward him well.

(1) The reception is bad as we arrived at 2 PM after a long journey and they informed us that the room was not ready and needed two hours to be prepared, and in an inappropriate manner.

I requested a room with a balcony and an espresso machine, and without any hesitation, she arranged it perfectly for me—even though the hotel was fully booked and very busy.

The formality process was seamless , handled, and assisted by FO Mdm Rabika. Discharged her responsibility professionally yet ever so welcoming. Deserve my compliment nevertheless.

Kudos to the night shift Front Desk Duos who made us feel good by greeting us with warmth and great smile even being masked.

I had also put in a request through booking.com for an extra bed and I had paid for it upon check in.

Staff / breakfast / in my last day i said to them to check out it 3 clock and said okay

We checked out after the first night and went to the Grand Hyatt down the road which was amazing.

Highly professional staff at the reception are friendly and ready to assist and qualified to answer any questions.

Mr. Harmizi is also very accommodative, showing flexibility and patience when handling special requests or unexpected situations.

My friend asked him question but he kept quiet and I had to repeat then he answered.

My staff easy access to go upstairs at the same time making sure my validation first.

As for the staff, they were fine, doing their jobs adequately without being overly impressive.

The staff were very welcoming and went out of their way to assist us.

"While the staff were professional, there were noticeable inconsistencies in the housekeeping service."

What stood out for my family was the friendly and Professional staff.

When we asked if there's an umbrella staff said we don't provide

Her friendliness and willingness to help made the process seamless and easy.

Staff are friendly and courteous and responsive to our needs and requests.

The staff OTHER than the check in was really friendly and good!

The hotel initially just simply responded that they can’t find it.

No help provided with getting our bags to our room.

Very friendly staff who provide the best service they can.

Breakfast buffet was supposed to be open from 6.30am until 10.30am. However by 10am most of the food are finished and weren’t topped up. The management should have ensured a full buffet is available and provided for guests until the end of breakfast time, as breakfast is paid for.

My only complaint was not being notified before arrival the sky bar and the breakfast restaurant was close. I personally like to get out of bed have breakfast and head back to bed, without having to walk from one building to another.

We had to go to the next building to have breakfast which was a bit poor, this was not stated upon booking therefore I would have opted for room only as it wasn't convenient and the not much selection.

It was 4 times the price my friends hotel i paid for bufet breakfast and they say closed for renovations they bring paper bag full of who knows what

The choice of dishes is limited and it's unfortunate that even a basic drink like an espresso or cappuccino has to be paid for separately.

Breakfast was next door and offered only a small selection, over the years this has always been a limiting factory at this hotel.

The only drawback is the breakfast that has to be taken at WIP, a place located 50 meters from the Ascott.

The buffet is not even a buffet its literally 3 dishes and a few bread products and thats it

The Ascott arranged for a complimentary breakfast for 4 days at the nearby restrobar, WIP On the Park.

The breakfast we got in the room wasn't very good, perhaps buffet in a restaurant would be better.

Could have provided a picture of the breakfast bento set that we are getting when making a booking.

Annoying the breakfast was in the building next door whilst renovating and was very boring and limited.

We were charged room with breakfast but no restaurant just pre- ordered stood catered by external party.

According to the hotel's level and price, the breakfast could be more varied, with more fruits.

Only ate one time and just couldn’t do it for the rest of the trip

For Breakfast one had to go out of the property to some restaurant nearby.

We booked the room w breakfast for 5 pax, dont expect hotel-like breakfast buffet.

And about breakfast a chossing my meal everyday they give me another meal

The facilities at the Ascott are decent: lap pool that is slightly longer than 25 meters, a decent gym (though missing some key equipment like a rower, and a dual pulley), and a tennis court (free, but in poor condition).

The balcony is not really something you can use - one needs to call front desk and have a member of staff come up every time one wants to open or close the balcony door.

When I checked in, I was informed that breakfast was in a building near the reception at the entrance of the apartments, but I didn't go for breakfast, so I can't evaluate it.

I liked the location next to the towers, the luxury of the apartment, and the nice facilities including an adults' pool on the 22nd floor and a children's pool nearby.

The drinking water is from a small tap designated for drinking water in the kitchen next to the tap for cleaning dishes, they don't bring water bottles every day

The place was infested with cockroaches (found them in the bathroom sink and wardrobe closet) and the microwave was so dirty that we dared not to use.

We are still being asked to pay for the washing when our clothes were bathing in dirty water at the bottom of the washing machines.

Very high security; I even left a small bag in the lobby and forgot it there, and it had important personal items in it.

Whether you’re there to relax or looking for a bit of adventure, there are various activities to choose from, ensuring there’s something for everyone.

When asked the hotel staff , they were apologetic but said the machine is under another vendor and not under the hotel maintenance???!!!!!

Looks like management need to put more money into preventative maintenance eg at least 4 washing machines had faults and balconies were dirty.

The wifi was terrible for the first 4 days, with many interruptions that made it difficult to even make video calls.

There is also a small store outdoor, so it was easy to find cereals, milk, nutella, bread for the kids.

I think it was a temporary problem anyway, because the situation seemed to improve in the last days.

TV was non SMART, didn't run Netflix or other streaming apps, not even with guests own subscription.

We had to call the technician for assistance each and every time before our shower time.

The wifi connection at the hotel was very poor, making it difficult to use the internet.

The cleanliness of the hotel and the scents coming from the lobby are very pleasant.

I make use of the coin laundry facilities on Level 22 every evening.

They even have a kids play room which our little one enjoyed.

There is a small grocery store right down from the hotel

Need to fix their AC and heater, and have better staff

I can't find the token changing machine for the laundrette.

I complained on the 3rd day that while I had been away since 9 am my room was only starting to be serviced when I walked in at 5 pm, since then for the next 5 days housekeeping would show up at 9 am to clean and ring the bell regardless of the privacy signs being up.

This time I paid to booking.com when I made the booking as booking.com offered some discounts but it seems that the property (or the front desk officer) was not well aware of the discrepancy between the payment amount and the actual amount charged by the property due to the discount.

Our requirements changed from the original booking. It was difficult overcome this. This was in part because I did not book directly with hotel, partly due lack of availability of suitable accommodation and also in part due to language differences

I only have one observation: the slow procedures for entry are a bit annoying and they should be more flexible, for example, allowing travelers to enter one or two hours before the check-in time, especially if the rooms are ready.

Need more control by the bellboy- not to allow any car or transport waiting for too long at the front without any customer as it will disturb others who are ready to go or ready to load their bags.

The receptionist charged me first before telling me that he had forgotten that he only had one smoking room left, and I was with my children, and since it was late, I still accepted it despite that.

I had an emergency and needed to go back to country, I told them I wanted to check out 2 days before and I asked for at least one night refund they rejected my request

Excellent value for the price we paid and we paid an extra half day as our flight was late at night and the hotel was relaxed that we stayed until 8pm (rather than 6pm).

There was also no offer to give us a late check out until I asked but it seems that it wasn't keyed into the system until I went to the counter in the evening.

You come at the check-in time but the room is not ready - they let you wait for more than 2 hours then they give you a different room from the one you booked

Special thanks go to the lady at the reception: we were supposed to check in at 14 o' clock but the Lady was so nice to give us the room 2 hours earlier.

However, after checking out for a few days to visit other locations and returning to the hotel, I was disappointed to know that only a room on the 14th floor was available.

There's no signages at the drop off area itself and it did not look like it was Ascott because the frontage visibility was some restaurant, convenience store, unlabelled lifts that look residential.

Check in was fast - which we appreciated but in the afternoon, reception called us up through the room phone and told us to go down and pay for our stay.

Work of Bellboy can be improved especially during check out time when most customers going out and waiting for their transport or the transport waiting for customers to come.

The lady with the headscarf on reception would not let us check in any earlier than the check in time even after we requested this when booking.

The front desk manager told me that they had no other room available and promised to give a room upgrade next day, which she did.

I had horrible experience while checkin as after taking money for early checkin, they informed about power cut from morning 10am till 7pm.

The room is still not ready 30 minutes after 3pm, and we have to request the receptions to check on the rooms.

Hotel did not try to compensate or offer any solution but just mentioned previous guest late check out which leads to slowness.

If u order grab food. the receptionist will send to your room no need to go down. even at late night.

Check in takes ages and rooms are not ready on time even if u come after the agreed time.

The QR code was missing from our room for room service and reception was too busy to ask.

When i came to check in they told me the room i had booked wasn’t available.

However, booking through expedia was promised a vip access. Did not receive that when checked in.

10 minutes later another guest came up and they were registered in the same room.

Flexible for early check in or late check out whenever possible depending reservations

Checking in and out is about as enjoyable as getting your teeth pulled.

I've never had to wait so long to enter a room.

This was the only disappointing aspect of our stay unfortunately.

We choose the hotel cause of the rooftop pool, yet you won’t feel comfortable using it, since there are guest an outside guest eating right next to the pool and watching you.

The clincher was the pool on the 22nd floor- fabulous-we used it first thing in the morning and when returning from sight seeing.

That was a kind of a disappointment as you would expect to have the beverages service to be part of the pool/hotel experience.

The pool did not look well maintained and had slime in it which meant we weren't comfortable using it.

I'm just not satisfied with the poll what was advertised on the roof top pictured from other ASCOTT

...the infinity pool if it exists was in an executive area we did not have access to...

The pool and sky lounge do not have a bar or beverages service on the 22nd floor.

The pool area was just mediocre, it’s not staffed, and the ambience felt like a condominium pool.

The only regret was that we did not have time to ... use the pool.

I really liked the pool, the views of the city's skyscrapers are very beautiful.

One for kids,one for adult n one is like jacuzzi that facing kl tower.

Nice that after a warm day we could also take a refreshing dip.

The pool on the 21st floor is clean with a large sundeck.

The pool is big with a lap area and a baby pool.

We also enjoyed the rooftop swimming pool, the views were really amazing.

The swimming pool was clean and soft fresh pool towels available.

The outdoor pool area on the 22nd floor was very accommodating.

The child pool is nice for 2-years-old, only 40 cm deep.

Their restaurant was under renovation so we had to go to another restaurant in the next building. Very limited spread and not too many options. They didn’t provide a take away cup for tea or coffee. You had to consume everything inside the restaurant.

But there’s an odour of something at the entrance to the restaurant that we didn’t like which was there every time for the last 6 breakfast visits.

The advert made it look like the hotel had a restaurant, a bar and an infinity pool with a great view of the Petronas towers.

The restaurant is the worst, they should change the catering company, the hotel is 5 star but the restaurant is 1 star only.

It will be better to have a proper dining area/restaurant to serve breakfast or dine in considering the brand that you are carrying.

Breakfast is served in a restaurant that is outside the hotel, it is quite limited in variety and the space is small.

The restaurant was closed with the excuse of Covid, although all shopping malls and restaurants in the city are open!!

The Wip on the Park restaurant where one had to go for breakfast due to the hotel's renovation work.

No food in the hotel and no room service beyond 4 PM as the restaurant closes at 4 PM

The restaurant La Bodega in the hotel can do a lot better in terms of quality and choices.

To our great surprise, we found out on the day of arrival that the restaurant was closed.

I found some gems of restaurants- Mandarin Oriental for breakfast, Aliraqi for lunch and Marinis for dinner.

Breakfast was served in the WIP restaurant, located outside the building about fifty meters away.

Restaurant is okay (reason for score markdown) enough food options but a bit run down.

Since it’s currently Ramadan, I especially loved that the hotel delivers food for sahoor.

The restaurant is not what I would expect from a 5 star labelled hotel.

The food is all Chinese food with no consideration to other ethnic people.

The service was also very slow as I had to call multiple times.

Walk to next building for breakfast as restaurant in hotel is under renovation

20 minutes no answer, then reception tried as well with no success.

There is no restaurant inside the hotel, you have to go out.

Maybe the lack of restaurant but there were many excellent restaurant nearby!

Better to leave the breakfast option open to go and eat outside.

There's also cheap "hawker stalls" in the laneway walk behind the hotel.

The restaurant is like outside of the hotel and only Breakfast buffet.

The hotel is attached to an Italian restaurant called Tatu.

They offered us 10% off next meal.

Restaurant attached to hotel was very ordinary.

Only fail for a wonderful stay.

Not much parking space and the attendant was very rude accusing me that i needed to pay for my parking as the complimentary one was used already (which i did not!!).

Car park charges are RM 6 per day if you validate your touch-n-go card at hotel reception, otherwise normal charges will be applied

Even after asking directions for parking, the staff told us to park below and the space was too small.

IF you are driving a family car, please please do not park below.

I paid RM 13 for less than 2 hrs at my first time

Parking was too narrow to bring car down and there's no velet

Parking used to be free. Now it is chargeable MYR10 per entry.

Previously stayed here and parking was complimentary for hotel guests.

No free parking priority for the guests staying in Ascot.

Hope can free parking based on room instead of unit.

The parking however was a huge let down for me.

I think they just need to improve the parking system.

Getting past through the parking attendant took too long.

It’s a gesture that counts not the money.

Parking should be complementary per what was advertised.

So we had to take Grab mostly.

Or you'll be charged an hourly rate.

Need to pay $RM10 for the parking.

2 carpark that's not enough for me.

Should waive it for hotel guests.

Had to pay RM10 per exit.

Guests are also charged for parking.

It ruined the car door.

The parking is very expensive.

Not enough carpark for us.

Narrow car park ways

We didn't go to the sauna because we had to turn it on ourselves and wait for it to heat up, but that wasn't a critical issue for us.

The only regret was that we did not have time to try the spa.

We used the day spa facility for massages & facials - highly recommend.

The spa there is also affordable and its worth going for!

The in house spa was also great and not very expensive.

Spa is amazing. Probably the highlight of the stay.

Siam bodyworks Thai massage just two blocks away.

Great in-house spa.

Need to know before hand from the staff the correct time to book a cab/GRAB before leaving for your next destination from the hotel.

We were 10 adults and the sent a van we crammed into that barely fit us and our luggage.

If you're organizing an airport pickup for a large group, go with double what you think you need.

I booked an expensive taxi to come grab us at the airport but the taxi no showed.

Ascott need to open a side gate to WIP. Else the route a bit far.

This is not the kind of service I expected especially taking account it was expensive.

Due to traffic it took 2.5hrs to get from the airport to the hotel.

The hotel also provides a free shuttle service to Kuala Lumpur's attractions.

They are supposed to reimburse me on my card I cross fingers.

The return trip was quicker at just over an hour.
