Reviews repeatedly praise the beautiful modern design, cleanliness, spacious rooms, helpful service, quiet atmosphere, breakfast, and pool/restaurant views over Dubai Creek and the skyline; it suits couples and families. However, several guests report inconsistent experiences, hot hallways or poor air conditioning, cleanliness and maintenance concerns, and standards they felt were below five-star expectations, especially for the price.

Just as a precaution make sure to watch how much money you may spend as the locals like to charge extra and judt make sure to keep that in mind when visiting.
Everything! What a great hotel, location, staff, cleanliness, pool and we had club package which was wonderful, food was amazing and the staff were so friendly.
Everything, really a top hotel especially since we had a room with access to the lounge and the extras that come with it.

Nice home feeling, very very confy, the well aging is perhaps the key factor here why this place is just magical.
Although there was a misunderstanding with our booking upon arrival, we resolved it immediately and paid for all additional charges.
The restaurant (Italian) on the 18th floor has an unparalleled view of the city and the Burj Khalifa.

Nothing it was perfect, one suggestion to have a full pint as part of the package at Morgan’s.
Hotel lived up to my expectations and the reviews on Booking, from our arrival to our departure
Maybe some might complain about not seeing a single "French" TV channel in the offered selection?!

The hotel is generally beautiful and its price is very reasonable, and the room is comfortable.
The amount I paid does not equal the value of my stay at this hotel.
Al Bandar Rotana, what can I say... an unforgettable experience that deserves to be repeated.

The staff is particularly attentive and professional, which makes the experience even more enjoyable.
The location is also perfect if you want to see some of old Dubai
We received a complimentary plate of fruit from the hotel in our room twice.

I recommend it and I will surely come back for my next vacation
Otherwise, apart from that, I absolutely don't see what could be improved...
It could be a bit cleaner although I have quite high standards.

The lounge staff: ELISHA, ALI, ESHELLE were great. Thank you for everything!
The hotel is very nice, the room is large and spacious.
The rooms are spacious and well-equipped, with very good bedding comfort.

Overall a very nice hotel and particularly good value for money.
It's easy to adjust the air conditioning to a comfortable temperature.
Very comfortable and several relaxing hang-out areas and service points.

I would highly recommend and look forward to staying again
The moment you stepped in every single thing is breathtaking from the decor, to the food , housekeeper and most importantly a great shoutout to Mohamed at the reception desk he made my stay very special by taking his time listening ,speaking with us and showing us round the hotel and he is always smiling and happy to help at any given moment
Had a lovely stay here, the all inclusive package is the way to go, it starts from 12 pm till 10 pm, if you want to keep it going till 1am then it cost an extra 20 pounds pp, that was a no brainer if u like a drink lol.

The hotel is great, beautiful spacious rooms with a view of the creek, there's a perfect bathtub, the pool has an amazing view and is open until late at night, which is stunning, and the breakfasts are really suited to the Israeli palate, and really good!
I like to stay in Al Bandar Rotana a lot and I hope I can bring my family to stay at Al Bandar Rotana I will be happy to have my family with me in this hotel specially in winter days in Dubai.
Everything, the service, beauty and refinement of the hotel, cleanliness, kindness of the staff, the all-inclusive option that not everyone offers, good and varied food typical of Middle Eastern cuisine, desserts, and fresh fruit and vegetables always available,

Staff: What guests say

Staff are repeatedly described as friendly, welcoming, professional, and attentive, with standout recognition for Maria/Anisa, Junaid, Lucy, and others. Guests report thoughtful upgrades, connected rooms, late checkout, and proactive help. Recurring drawbacks include very long check-ins, delayed basic requests, repeated follow-ups, and occasional rude or dismissive treatment.

Mehari he do good job with customer I see every day he help with taxi and he pay from his money because one customer he take another taxi not all the people do for his job like this he deserve congratulations from Rotana.
Great service, so close to the airport, great staff and service, 24 hour reception and 24 hour food delivery which I loved especially as I was adjusting to a new Timezone and eating at 2am it was perfect!
Superb ,staffs are so respectful, receptionists and the drivers are so kind ..i will miss Miss Serina, she is the sweetest..Aziz and the other one driver of the bus are both so kind and helpful

Finally, we want to express our deep gratitude to Abid, who not only took care of our luggage but also carefully looked after our comfort and happiness within the establishment.
In the evening we go to dinner. We were shown to a table. Two minutes later, an employee runs up and says that dinner is not included for us.
We lost something during the trip from the Airport to the hotel and the staff do their Best to very quickly to help us get it back.

A special thank you for paying such close attention to my husband’s whiskey preferences — that level of personal service is rare and deeply appreciated.
Wonderful and comfortable, and the reception and meeting our needs were very quick in addition to helping us confirm our reservation for our upcoming trip.
I would say to retain the current staff and the hotel will deliver high quality; thank you very much and all the best wishes.

It is rare to find such consistency across an entire hotel and it really does make a huge difference to the overall experience.
A big thank you to the entire team at Rotana Bandar Creek and especially to Lukman, Santosh, and Sharif who were always attentive.
Everything about the hotel, from the staff to the room, is perfect, especially the valet person at night, whose name is Sajid.

Stuff ( cant be more grateful to them , they care for you once you get in until the last minute)
We were treated with so much respect, as we arrived early we were accommodated which was very kind of the staff.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to the entire team for these wonderful moments and these unforgettable memories.

I thank the night shift manager (Sajid). Thank you; he is indeed a very respectable, friendly, and very appreciative person.
You should be very proud of the team you have here and the excellent hotel service that you provide.
We got up and went to his desk. He calls the reception. They tell him that everything is paid.

A special and heartfelt thank you to Marylin at reception — the room was ideal in every way.
The staff, from reception to breakfast and dinner service to the cleaning staff, understood the theme of 'service.'
I would like to commend Ms. Marlene Caballero, the front desk manager, for her professionalism and care

Excellent service and kind, helpful staff - they allowed us to check in early which was fantastic.
They didn’t help us to get a taxi on my birthday and they weren’t friendly or welcoming.
Over all you will love the stay except of the service thats need to improve more.

KAPIL also was very helpful and he gave us all the détails needed to visit dubai.
House keeping is the worse I have ever witnessed , they don’t refill shampoo and conditioner, they don’t provide toiletries after the first day , they keep adding towels without removing the dirty ones , they don’t change bed sheets or covers unless you ask them too , they seriously don’t throw left overs or garbage and they don’t touch anything in the room when they clean.
Staff (male) brought things after washing, and since I did not have a deposit considered that OK to stay with me 1 on one in the room, while waiting for the terminal for payment, and then assure that NOW I need to come down and pay for washing, and the terminal they will not bring me, although in room service it is and he confirmed it.

The staff was annoying during checkout; they kept calling and knocking on the door every half hour, even though I hadn't delayed my checkout by much, maybe just an hour. It got to the point where they brought me the hotel manager. Come on, with this approach, you will annoy people, and nobody will want to come back to you.
Especially the Egyptian employee in the buffet told me there's no space and if I don't want to wait, I can go get my money back, but his way of dealing with me was as if he didn't care. They should have just told me from the start that it was full instead of making me go up and down.
Because the good and beautiful service, and the hotel is beautiful, and the staff, including the shift manager, Mohamed, who is of Egyptian nationality, and Diaa, who is also of Egyptian nationality, are truly wonderful in their interactions and their service is excellent. We always wish them progress and prosperity.

Rooms: What guests say
View Al Bandar Rotana – Dubai Creek497 relevant reviews
Rooms are frequently described as spacious, clean, comfortable, and well-designed, with attractive creek, skyline, or upgraded views, quietness, bathtubs, and comfortable beds. Recurring concerns include smoke or unpleasant odors, inconsistent cleaning, uncomfortable pillows, missing basic amenities, aging furniture, maintenance faults, insufficient cooling, and delays supplying requested items.

I had a problem with the water in the bathroom where black pieces came out with the water. I requested help from room service, then the manager came and advised me to change rooms, which did not happen, and the room was not changed.
The bathroom didn't have a shower cap, which is odd for a 5-star hotel, and I've stayed in other 4-star hotels in Dubai that all had shower caps, cotton swabs, and even toothbrushes and toothpaste.
Its only downside is that the cleanliness is very good and approaches excellence, but it needs more attention as some areas aren’t cleaned; however, overall it is clean and excellent

There were no basic amenities in our room and when we asked for it they took too long and we had to constantly remind them.
Some of the rooms can be smelly because they let smoking in some of them, so better ask before for a non smoking one
There is nothing different to impress me, and the hotel staff tells me I will be compensated with a sea view upgrade.

Also, I requested room service while I was gone, and when I returned 4 hours later, the room was not cleaned.
It’s not suitable for a small baby, we simply couldn’t reach in to pick her up as it was low.
Last time we stayed in a suite where the living room table was full of dirt inside the white design

They upgraded my room with a view with no extra charge since they realized I traveled for my birthday.
Not all rooms have a view of the city center, so it’s worth specifying when choosing a room.
I had to take a room that smells bad just for me not to eat any longer.

Although I requested a quiet room during check-in, they gave me a room on the second floor.
The room was ideal in every way. Modern, spotless, beautifully designed, and exactly what we requested.
To the room with an iconic view which will keep me going back many more times!

The beds were a dream and the bathroom was great for a family with kids.
We were delighted to be upgraded during our stay, which made it even more enjoyable.
I got the Spacious premium room, I liked the spaciousness and the room itself.

A good experience, but the price of the room and studio is very high.
Very spacious room with spacious bathroom entailing separate shower and very large bath tub.
The mattresses are really very hard in our opinion (70 and 65 kg).

The room exceeded my expectations on the space and the view was beautiful.
The bed and pillow you feel like you sleep in the cloud
Our room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and felt like a peaceful retreat.

I went out to talk to them to take that into account
When I arrived, I had booked a room with two twin beds. They told me they would give me a king room because they were out of the others, and I arrived at check-in time, and they gave me a room with no view at all, a closed window, a gloomy room smaller than expected.
Discomfort on the bed - I informed the management of the necessity for my accommodation to be on the upper floor, away from the noise of children, but they did not fulfill my request - The floor mattress is old and not suitable for a five-star hotel

I stayed at this hotel twice; the first time I stayed there, they upgraded my room free of charge to a full studio, which was really wonderful - there was a good coffee machine, a washing machine, and even a stove top to cook on!
They didn’t restock towels, provided only one guest robe in the cupboards on the first day when they usually come in twos - for both rooms, never gave sufficient water supply and when we asked for things it was done much later.
When we had reached our room we seen the beds and felt disappointed as the beds looked smaller than a double and we did find these too small and ended up pushing the beds together so we had a bit more space.

Location: What guests say
View Al Bandar Rotana – Dubai Creek331 relevant reviews
Guests repeatedly praise the Creek-side location, airport proximity, views of the creek, skyline and Burj Khalifa, and access to souks, shops, restaurants and taxis. The area is quiet and well connected, but some find it far from downtown or metro stations, while a nearby mosque may create morning noise.

The location of the hotel and the unavailability of transportation at the hotel, taxi, and when requesting the hotel to provide a taxi, they refuse to do so due to having private cars for the hotel limousine, which are more expensive than a taxi.
Everything was great, one of the best, not the most touristy area, but close to the airport and the attractions like the Frame of Dubai (highly recommended to visit), and Al Seef. Overall, it’s quite quick to reach Downtown by taxi.
Not the most convenient location for beach vacations (it's far to get there), however, this problem can be solved by planning time in advance and using a shuttle, but as I mentioned earlier, we did not use them.

It’s easy to get a taxi from hotel, but the taxis tend to drive you around before taking u to your destination in order to add more to the mileage to make the fare more.
Always enjoy watching the coloured boats at night time all lit up and we also had a nice view of a firework display over the creek at the Dubai Frame.
When we first arrived we were blown away with the size and ambience of the place, it looked so modern and was a huge hotel.

We had an excellent time my friend and I dividing around and finding places to visit and make our trip an excellent one.
Additionally, the proximity to the historic center and the commercial area makes Al Bandar Rotana a perfect base for exploring Dubai.
The area is a mix of old and newer Dubai but still good and much cheaper than downtown or marina.

It’s a very nice hotel in a very convenient location of Dubai and with beautiful views to Dubai Creek.
Cleanliness first, and secondly, the view of the Nature Reserve of Al Khor and the old wooden ships.
Its proximity to Dubai Festival Mall as well as to the Gold Souk and the old market.

The location is convenient — it's quick to get to the main places, but it's quiet.
The large shopping center in the city center is reachable on foot in about 10/15 minutes.
Conveniently located, a 15-minute walk to 2 metro stations, good quality car transportation available at concierge.

The location is very convenient as it is about 10 to 15 minutes from everything.
Really close to a big metro stop so a great starting point for every daytrip.
The hotel is located in a nice and clean area, very near to Dubai Creek.

Only 10min in an Uber from the Airport and 20 minutes to Dubai Mall.
It takes 13 minutes to get to the subway, which runs at short intervals.
The location of the property could be a bit closer to the center.

Taking a taxi from the hotel doesn't save much time due to traffic.
Waking up to the creek view everyday was the highlight for us.
It takes about another 30 minutes to get to Downtown from there.

It's not located in a buzzing area (like JBR/Marina for example).
The metro is on the same street (10 minutes on foot).
We like to sample public transport - other than by taxi!

The location of the hotel and the amazing sea view
If you with children u cant take walk normally >_<
Creek side is near good for walking or jogging.

Breakfast: What guests say
View Al Bandar Rotana – Dubai Creek245 relevant reviews
Breakfast is repeatedly praised for its extensive variety, freshness, quality, juices, omelette station, and attentive service, with some guests calling it exceptional or 10/10. The main drawbacks are limited vegetarian choices, occasional average taste, short hours ending at 10:30, and busy periods causing table shortages, delays, or buffet replenishment issues.

The buffet system is complicated, and the guest has the right to receive a fair price and a discount as they are a guest at the hotel. It is unreasonable to require more than one meal a day to receive a discount on food. Unfortunately, it was tasteless and very salty; most dishes came from Indian cuisine. They must understand that not everyone is accustomed to the amount of spices and salt. Indian food is wonderful, but we are in a Gulf Arab country, and it would have been better to offer more Arab and Gulf dishes.
We ended up with a bag full of stale pastries, a salad with sauce that had no lid on it but it was wrapped in cling film and spilled into the paper bag and we got two to-go cups full of apple juice instead of coffee as requested and confirmed the day before over the phone.
I appreciated the effectiveness of the breakfast team, although I arrived at the most busy time just 15 min before the end of breakfast time with people queuing up, the waiting was limited and the efforts of the staff extremely professional.

Visited morgan's bar every day for coffee drinks dissapointed to be turned away one night at 09:15 as no seats but was then let in and sat by bar.
Breakfast time was too less as we included in our package but we woke up bit late we didn’t get food.
I won’t book here again, as the Buffett is average, and boring if you’re staying more than 3 days.

Despite the hotel being very busy, the staff and waiters were calm, attentive, and incredibly well organised.
Breakfast buffet - staff good, food spread was okay but taste and 'enjoyment index' below expectations
Breakfast choice is very limited and the food standard too low as 5 star hotel.

Everything ran smoothly, and the quality and variety of the food were excellent.
The chef even made me some gluten free pancakes which were delicious.
At breakfast, everything we needed was available and we could sit outside.

Breakfast buffet can be butter as far as quality and varities
Breakfast is not varied, you get the same thing every day.
There's no point in even choosing dishes, everything is equally bland.

Amazing breakfast, especially large dining room, the service is great.
The breakfast is complete, you have a bit of everything.
They invited us to breakfast at the free buffet

But the coffee was delicious when you got it
The comprehensive buffet breakfast caters for all tastes.
The breakfast is excellent, varied, and very classy.

They can do better at breakfast options
Good property with nice breakfast and parking.
The service at breakfast was excellent

The inflexibility to cancel the breakfast
The breakfast excellent and various
The breakfast is very beautiful

First the breakfast is lacking.
Coffees also not hot.
Decent spread of breakfast

Pool: What guests say
View Al Bandar Rotana – Dubai Creek190 relevant reviews
The rooftop pool on the 13th floor offers spectacular Creek, skyline, and Burj Khalifa views, but it is repeatedly described as very small for the hotel’s capacity. Peak periods bring crowding, scarce sunbeds, queues, and early towel reservations; occasional concerns include cold water, cleanliness, cramped space, and limited hours.

The hotel, not far from the international airport, offers a thirteenth-floor pool with a truly spectacular panoramic view of the Creek and the Burj Khalifa; the pool is not large but is perfect for splendid and luxurious relaxation after a day spent visiting Dubai City (open until 10:00 PM).
Bar service at the pool is poor, waiters pass by looking down between their legs not noticing who is waving or calling them out, every order takes alot of time to come that is of ourse if they didnt forget you ordered or thought you were served already.
The pool bed situation needs addressing with people placing towels on Loungers at 8am then not returning till 10.30 onwards causing major stress to people waiting hours for a bed when they are taken up with towels and no people 😴

If u are a couple and u leave to go for lunch they will take your towels and give the bed to people waiting, so best to eat up at the pool as you can order food there.
The pool is relatively small and places limited, but here as well, the efforts of the pool staff to accommodate each client with the best spot, close to the pool, with sun, with shadow etc... is just great.
The only down side about this hotel is lack of beds at the pool if you are late or away for the day you have to Wait for a bed not ideal in the heat

The only downside to our stay was that we were unable to get a sunbed, I guess this is the price you pay for staying in a city centre hotel with a small pool.
I entered the swimming pool with my son and after he got ready to enter the pool, the staff at the pool refused him because of the type of shorts he was wearing.
The infinity pool was nice but could have been bigger as we had to wait til the evening to actually make use of it as it was always busy during the day.

I had a little accident at the pool and they offered us a free dinner as I got an injury in the pool as one of the little tiles was missing.
There is a struggle for sunbeds by the pool - unfortunately, there are very few and one should get up by 9 at the latest to secure a spot.
We tried several times to get a spot by the pool or on the terrace, but unfortunately, we were not successful; there was always no available space.

Pool is quite small and sometimes not very clean (some people eat in the water and leave crumbs), with a location that ultimately is not ideal.
If you arrive later, there is a waiting list policy and the lifeguard will add your name and come get you when one becomes available.
There aren’t enough pool sun loungers so you didn’t feel relaxed as you had to be up really early to get one

Best part was the sunset view from the rooftop by the pool looking over to burj khalifa and lights of downtown.
The pool was rather small and there were not enough sun loungers available for the number of hotel guests.
If you like to do a lot of swimming this may not be the hotel for you.

We ordered some nibbles and drinks at the pool but it took 45 min to arrive.
We found that if you arrive around 8-9am you'll have no issue getting a lounger.
With a large number of guests, there are few loungers and a small pool.

Should be open at least till midnight or may be open all times.
Pool is totally crowded, but staff is doing its best to accommodate everybody
There is also a pool with a magnificent view of downtown Dubai

The beaches around the pool are too small, lack of space
Swimming pool with a truly spectacular skyline view with heated water.
There was only limited availability of sunbeds around the pool,

Pool is way smaller than it looks in the pictures.
Watching the sun go down from here was stunning.
Pool bar serves food and alcohol from 12 noon.

Restaurant: What guests say
View Al Bandar Rotana – Dubai Creek177 relevant reviews
Dining feedback is mixed: Gusto, Morgan’s Gastropub, and the Italian rooftop restaurant are often praised for delicious, varied food and views. However, Salt & Pepper’s buffet is repeatedly described as bland, poor, or disorganized, with empty dishes and long waits. Half-board guests may be assigned dinner in the pub, and room service quality is inconsistent.

I especially enjoyed the lunches at the main restaurant (Salt&pepper) at a very reasonable price for Dubai, I also recommend the bar-restaurant Morgan’s in the hotel - good food, drinks, and shisha, everything was at a high level and had a pleasant atmosphere with good music.
An hour wait for check-in; we arrived around 3 PM, check-in starts at 2 PM, and we only got our room after waiting an hour around 4 PM, even though we had the option for early check-in included in the price.
On the 18th floor, Club Rotana Lounge, for an additional fee from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, you can snack on delicious appetizers (you can easily be full) and drink non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages.

The option to choose from various restaurants for meals; the best one was Morgens Gastropub, where with the All-Inclusive package, food from a special menu was 'free' plus we always had a 50% discount from the regular menu.
The all inclusive package ment we needed to eat dinner in Morgan’s which is a pub, the food was amazing but as a Muslim I don’t think it’s appropriate that we have to eat in a pub.
I did not like Morgans, too much smoke smell seeping into the non smoking part of the restaurant which is why we did not dine there and ended up eating all meals at Salt & Pepper.

Lunch was usually enjoyed by the pool, although on some days due to the weather we chose to eat at Morgan’s or Salt and Pepper instead.
The food was bad at best the chefs tried so hard to keep up with the onset orders but they were also bested.
The room service was a bit disappointing. I ordered a burger, the meat was a bit overcooked. The fries are not homemade.

The food at Morgan’s was the bare minimum no flavor and cocktails were watered down not worth the rates.
Don’t take their dinner buffet seriously, it was the worst buffet I have ever had in my life
I was disappointed that the Italian restaurant wasn’t open but maybe I should have asked before booking.

You can enjoy the view with good food at a nice dinner in the Italian restaurant.
Food was pleasant always something to find to eat in the salt and pepper restaurant.
You didn't have much choice with the dinner, a buffet would have made it perfect.

Many thanks to Mr. Fady for the excellent organization and high level of service.
Had a wonderful evening at Salt & Pepper for their Monday European Open Buffet!
The desserts are delicious :) All restaurants in the hotel deserve 5 stars.

The buffet service at the restaurant was great everything else was nice too.
Dinner from half board was limited to set menu from three courses.
The food was good as well and there was plenty of variety.

The restaurant Gusto on the 18th floor - a poem. Super delicious!
I ended up going up to the restaurant and asking them myself.
The food service 24 hours was good but little bit expensive

Information about eating at the hotel restaurants with clear pricing
The food was great and the room was very clean.
The food is very good, varied, and freshly prepared.

They have a good coffee and bar & restaurant
The meals are varied and of good quality.
Stay ruined by spoiled food at the restaurant

Facilities: What guests say
View Al Bandar Rotana – Dubai Creek154 relevant reviews
Reviews frequently praise the modern, well-designed facilities, cleanliness, gym, lounge, dining options, Starbucks, and skyline views. The pool is repeatedly described as small, crowded, and sometimes outdated, with limited sunbeds. Families may find the children’s playroom inadequate. Isolated but notable issues include plumbing, hot-water, minibar, leaking-ceiling, bathroom-supply, and inconsistent-cleaning problems.

The main entrance of the hotel does not work and opening the door manually is tiring and exhausting, despite there being a designated staff member for this purpose; we hope to repair the door and make it operate automatically.
Pool is small but you know that before booking like we did, we don't use it everyday so on the odd days we did we got a bed straight away but this was before 9.15 AM.
I brought nuts and juice with me, and the pool staff said it was prohibited in an inappropriate manner in front of others, even though it wasn't written that this was not allowed.

I also noticed they were managing people trying to reserve beds and then leave quite good by asking people to be no more than 15 minutes if they needed to leave them.
The lift seemed to be only for certain floors I was on floor 17 and could only use a certain elevator I found but maybe I was doing it incorrectly
There is a Starbucks coffee shop in the lobby and an Italian restaurant on the 13th floor, and there is Arabic coffee at the waiting chairs in the lobby.

The housekeeping experience was another horrible experience as I catch them using a towel cleaning inside the toilet seat and using the same towel for the seat as well.
The food was stale and unappetizing, clearly not freshly prepared, and the drinks were poor quality, with cocktails made from premixes and served in old, stained plastic glasses.
The cleaning and the very high laundry price are not well thought out and are exaggerated, as ironing 2 men's shirts costs 100 dirhams, which is very expensive

Another day going later it was full but the pool team manage this excellent and the waiting list is a good idea that they have.
We had access to the Club Lounge, which offered a beautiful view of the Dubai Creek and served refreshments throughout the day.
The place is beautiful and clean, and they care for guests. It's nice for families and quiet, with no noise.

Not too many sun beds but we did always manage to get a couple whenever we went there.
Prices in the sports bar are excessive and the air conditioning is always set very cool.
Had to wait 20 mins to get the hot water in the taps, including shower.

The hotel itself is excellent, with great facilities, comfortable rooms, and a welcoming atmosphere.
This is also in the outdoor area with a fantastic view of the city.
The hotel is really well-equipped, the food is great, and the pool is nice.

The hotel and all the facilities and rooms are completely clean and amazing.
The cleanliness is high in the room facilities and the hotel in general
The bathroom, the hothouse hotel, the restaurants, the breakfast, the staff super helpful.

The wait time is long; 2 elevators serve more than 150 rooms.
Free Lounge facility and high tea were really worth the money.
The cost of laundry. In my opinion it was too high.

There is free valet service available 24 hours a day.
It opens at 8AM and is full by 8:10.
Rooms were fabulous and had great service from cleaners.

The quality of amenities and shampo could be better.
The location was fantastic and hotel facilities excellent.
Beautiful new hotel with a great pool area

Check-in / Check-out: What guests say
View Al Bandar Rotana – Dubai Creek108 relevant reviews
Check-in is the dominant concern: guests repeatedly report waits of 30 minutes to several hours, rooms unavailable even after advertised or paid early check-in, poor communication, and occasional room mismatches. Some delays were mitigated with upgrades, breakfast, drinks, late checkout, or attentive staff, while checkout was usually quicker but late-checkout agreements were not always honored.

I wish the hotel would include an option for morning check-in, even for a nominal fee, for those who want to come to Dubai by car, so a morning check-in option, for example at 6 AM, would be suitable for taking a rest and making the most of the day they arrive in Dubai.
Another thing I didn't like was that I was informed to check out at 12, and I requested to check out at 2 to sleep because I returned from some work at 12:30. However, I was called twice on the room phone, and on the third time, the staff knocked on the door.
On Booking.com it says early check-in starts at 9 AM, and based on that I booked. Unfortunately, you find out from the reception staff that there are no vacant rooms, and it depends on availability, which can be a problem especially if you come from a trip

My check-in time was delayed even though I had booked in advance and paid the full amount, and I did not enter the same room that I had booked; however, I was moved to another room on the second day and compensated with a breakfast.
They took an amount from me before I arrived and charged it to my card - and when we arrived they said to pay the full amount in cash and the previous amount would be refunded but they did not refund it!!!
For check-out, I asked the staff to get a late check-out until 2 o'clock, and they said okay, but I was surprised at 12 o'clock on the day of check-out when the receptionist called me and said I had to leave now

An hour wait for check-in; we arrived around 3 PM, check-in starts at 2 PM, and we only got our room after waiting an hour around 4 PM, even though we had the option for early check-in included in the price.
If something to change, then CALL! directly! in the object (from another country of course this is the most convenient option of communication) if you need a cab - then write to the mail and only 24 hours in advance.
We checked into the hotel a bit early; we had made a reservation for a standard room, but they informed us that there was no availability in a standard room until 2:00 PM when check-in time is.

We wanted to pay the early check-in fee and keep our room the same; at first, they agreed, but then they tried to sell us a different room again, so we accepted since we were tired.
Upon check-in at 1:55 PM, we were asked to wait for 30 minutes for a room check, which was very long. After our inquiry as to why, they offered an upgrade, and we liked that.
Also, it's weird to me that hotels still don't accept UAE Pass when it's universally used across the country - you need a physical ID to be able to check into the hotel.

Unfortunately I was stuck there for weeks because it was pre-paid through Hotels.com and it got the situation more complicated or I would be checking out from the next day.
We did experience a challenging check-in after arriving early in the morning and having to wait longer than expected due to a late checkout from previous guests.
We were greeted by Ahmed at the check in desk and he was polite and helpful and also recommended upgrading our room to a queen room.

It was a bit annoying when they have not told us that the room was available, they waited for us to ask again the third time😕.
Although we were offered a drink, which was nice, we'd preferred to take a shower and have a bit of rest after a long flight.
They wanted a $500 deposit, both my cards didn’t work even though they had been working fine for the rest of my trip elsewhere.

I had a family emergency and he was able to assist and get me a refund as I unexpectedly had to check out.
We checked in early and even received a free upgrade - a beautiful suite with a view of the creek and Burj Khalifa.
My entry into the hotel coincided with my birthday.. they gave me free coffee, booked my room, and brought me a cake..

A beautiful stay and even nicer service from the staff, especially the receptionist from Sudan who was very helpful during checkout.
The value of money and the long wait for check-in to the room, where there was a crowded line.
However, what truly stood out was how well the situation was handled by the management and reception team.

That a deposit suddenly had to be paid during check-in. This was not mentioned anywhere by Booking.
That the check-in went so smoothly and we could already taste the 5-star feel upon entry.
We waited for 45mins to be checked in as the room was not ready yet.

After we paid the full amount of two-night stay when we did the checking.
Finally, during check out, we asked for some help taking our luggage down.
My flight was in the evening, so they extended my check out time.

Transport: What guests say

Free shuttles to Dubai Mall, Mall of the Emirates, and beaches are a useful transport bonus, but schedules are limited, often once daily, and some guests were not offered the service. The metro is a 15–20-minute walk, taxis are convenient but costly, and airport transfers were inconsistently provided or communicated.

...our driver and guide, Mr. Kundal, was exceptionally respectful, friendly, and informative. He picked us up from the hotel, clearly explained the day’s activities, and even helped us capture some great photos.
The metro is a bit far, 15 minutes by walk so it's hard to visit another places in the city, it's can be with taxi or rental car
We always used Uber, so we didn't care about the distance to the metro, but just a little reminder for those who want to use it :)

I like the fact that when we did need to get a taxi the hotel arranged a hotel taxi instead sort of matching taxi prices.
They informed us it wasn't available for the return, and when we arrived, they said we had to inform them two days in advance.
It only goes once a day, which makes it difficult because staying at the beach for 5 hours is too long for many guests.

At the end they tried to make it up for me by an airport shuttle which was only 10 min away from the hotel..
I also didn’t like it was impossible to call a taxi directly through hotel, the concierge suggested me to download an app.
The hotel does have a free shuttle once each day to the Mall of the Emirates, the Dubai Mall? and Kite beach.

The complimentary shuttle bus to Dubai Mall, Kite beach and the Emirates Mall was a great way to get around Dubai, too.
Not very well connected to public transport, I did use the Metro however it was a 20 minute walk to the hotel.
A little far from the metro station - perhaps a dedicated shuttle service would be beneficial if demand is there

They told us there was free transportation from the airport to the hotel, and they didn't even provide that.
The Abra Station is located very close to the hotel, making it convenient for short trips across the creek.
A little far from means of transport and we ended up traveling around by taxi, which wasn’t really cheap.

We were able to walk to union metro station and get the train to the Dubai mall instead.
We also booked our Desert Safari through the hotel, and it turned out to be a wonderful experience.
There are shuttles to Dubai Mall, Mall of the Emirates, and some beach (but we didn't use them).

Besides Dubai Mall, guests can also go to La Mer Beach and Emirate Mall with the free shuttle.
For work at 5:30 AM the next day the reception would not pre-order a taxi for me
The shuttle transfer to the airport is not included, although it says so in the description.

At 11:00 AM, a bus leaves for Lamer beach and brings you back at 5:00 PM.
The fact that we had to pay/find for our taxi back to the airport.
Do some calculations and plan anyway, it's definitely worthwhile to rent a car.

There is also a transfer to the mall, which is very convenient
They provide a free shuttle bus but timetable is not convenient.
The Concierge staff were very efficient in calling for a taxi.

We really appreciated the free shuttle bus service they provide.
It's quite a walk to the metro.
Difficult at times to get cab outside.

Gym: What guests say

The gym is repeatedly praised as clean, modern, spacious, and well equipped, often with Technogym machines, new equipment, free water, towels, and regular disinfection. Guests mention an enjoyable city view and pool area. Minor concerns include limited equipment variety, a desire for 24/7 access and music, and occasional overcrowding or distracting behavior.

We liked the gym but it did need 1 few more equipments but the gym was the best pet of the stay.
The gym is definitely worth mentioning—well-equipped for all your workout needs and offering a breathtaking view that made exercising even more enjoyable.
From the pool, to the gym and even for the Gusto dinner overlooking a very scenic view of the city scrapes.

I specifically appreciated the hotel gym thats pretty well equiped if you're a gym bro or girlie you're sorted.
The gym was mostly occupied by arrogant men taking selfies and videos of their unimpressive feats 😂
The gym is amazing, with clean towels, free water, new equipment, and continuous disinfection throughout the hotel.

Everything was excellent – the room, breakfast, gym, location, and the convenient underground parking.
Beautifully furnished fitness room with machines and free weights, 3 running and rowing machines.
In the fitness area, I suggest being curious about who is training there.

Very nice gym with Technogym equipment that I used almost every day
While there is a huge gym next door that is very underused...
Modern gym and excellent service in the gastro pub and Italian restaurant.

More variety is required for the gym.

Parking: What guests say
View Al Bandar Rotana – Dubai Creek23 relevant reviews
Parking is generally free, spacious, and convenient, with several guests praising valet service and short waits. However, valet availability is inconsistent: some report no overnight service and having to self-park after paying. The underground area was described as unclean and poorly ventilated, while spaces behind the building can be narrow.

Late at night, there was no valet staff available, so we had to go all the way down to the parking area and park the car ourselves, even though we paid for valet service.
Valet service is available only during specific hours, and it is stopped at a certain time, which may cause some inconvenience to guests
The parking spaces behind the building are somewhat narrow; you need to be cautious when entering and exiting.

Everything was excellent – the room, breakfast, gym, location, and the convenient underground parking.
Parking your car was a bit of a hassle sometimes but nothing major
The relaxing ambiance and smooth valet parking made the experience even better.

The valley parking was available 24/7 and no much time to wait.
The underground parking with not clean and is not well ventilated
We didn't have to wait long for the car as well.

We paid for a service that was simply not provided.
Especially the guys at the valet parking.
Plenty of parking have also valet parking.

And the free parking if a plus.

Spa: What guests say

Guests generally praise the spa, especially the massages, with one calling a Thai massage amazing and another praising a therapist’s gentle hands. Facilities include sauna, hammam, showers, and pool-towel service. However, massages can be expensive, the complimentary 15-minute treatment may require advance booking, and separate men’s and women’s wellness areas prevent couples from relaxing together.

That I had to leave also I didn’t have time to book in a massage staff there looked lovely aswell as that is where you pick up your pool towels.
Tini from the Rotana suna is the best massuer I have ever come across. She has gental hands that relaxed me so much that went to sleep.
I wanted to use the Spa but the room was not aired frequently so that made me change my mind otherwise it was very neat.

Spa was 15 min free but there was no slots available need to book a day before
The SPA is separated for men and women, so you can't relax together in the wellness area.
Also the complementary 15 minute massage was done by two ladies.. both were great.

Massages way too expensive at the spa, steam and sauna average.
If you get a chance try the Thai massage it’s amazing.
Dry and wet sauna with showers and swim trunk centrifuge😁

And even the club and spa services were great.
Spa facilities really convenient for the traveller.
I really enjoyed the spa as well.

The SPA was a bit expensive
I liked the massage service.
The massages are perfect.

Sauna and hammam available
Wonderful spa
