This five-star rated hotel offers standard hotel accommodation without leaving the airport and is an option if you find yourself in transit in Dubai International Airport without a visa, and there longer than you could face camping in an airport lounge.
Could somebody please get back to me and confirm that I'm getting a refund for a hotel I didn't use because the hotel said they did not deal with Expedia and did not have a reference number that I gave them.
Was a little more on the expensive side but was worth it to not have to worry about going through customs again and being at the airport 2 hours early.

This is truly well and above what you'd expect from an airport hotel. Hotel DXB does truly make it worth every dollar you spend with them.
So, I really need just to quickly return to the hotel without “luxury hospitality experience” that I do not need much in transit.
Emirates Airline provides the hotel for free for the first 24 hours in transit, I used that option and found it inconvenient:

This generic hotel allows me to save lots of time and use transit hours as an opportunity to get other places.
That fact is currently listed as point number 7 out of ten in “Things you need to know about this hotel”.
The cost is worth the convenience to enable you to have a sound sleep without the hassle of going through customs.

Overall, it was average, but the Spa experience was not the reason why I stayed at this hotel.
We would recommend this transit hotel to anyone, particularly those travelling as a family on long haul flights.
So worth the money as you refresh from your first journey and recharge for the next.

If such specific is not a problem for you, the rest if just fine.
The time was then 2am so had to find another hotel at extra expense.
It was an overnight stay before a very early flight the next morning.

Every year we stay in DIH on our way to and from Seychelles.
Hotels.com would not honor the cancellation or refund since it was same day.
Strongly recommend if the stopover is less than 8hours and more than 5.

Truly a service and facility designed around the needs of the customer.
But I expected something from the hotel for a peaceful spot.
This trip is very memorable we will visit again here.😊😊😊😊😊

Can not tell you since was not able to stay.
The hotel is usually rather old, crowded with tourists
This should be made clearer on the site.

Worthwhile to get some sleep between long flights.
Keep it up Team Dubai Hotel Airport.
It’s amazing hotel 5 star hotel

Worth the money between long flights
Functional Option Within Airport
What a great hotel.

First there was no information that you must stay airside to use this hotel, second someone took my suitcase by mistake meaning I had to pass immigration to go landside to retrieve my luggage. It was not then allowed to go back airside as had no boarding pass for a flight, arriving boarding pass does not get you back to airside.
Great hotel for when you wanna get off one plane, sleep within 30 min of disembarking, wake up an hour or two before the next flight, and be refreshed on your next leg of the trip.
But what they do not explain well is that you cannot access your checked bag (in my case a carry on bag that had to be checked since it was slightly more than the allotted 7kg).

What we didn’t appreciate was that it was airside fortunately we were able to check our bags in the night before after we scrambled to get things we needed for the stay and next morning.
I called Expedia and let them know the situation and they said they would follow up with the hotel let me know in seven days, it's been three weeks and I have heard nothing
So, flying through Dubai I often get tickets with 1-2 days transit, bring my small carry-on with me, stay at the airport and visit some tourist attraction in different areas of the UAE:

Unfortunately, I didn't realise we could have had a meet and greet booked, which would have taken a lot of stress out of finding the place in the middle of the night.
We asked if somebody could meet our flight and even through we arrived after midnight there was a young man waiting to escort us through security and walk us to the hotel
SADLY NO ONE MET ME AT THE GATE SO I WALKED AND WAS TOLD THAT I HAD GONE TO THE WRONG SIDE (EMAIL FROM HOTLE NOT SO CLEAR).

Since the airport security would not make any exception and I needed my bag, I had no choice but to book a different hotel and catch an Uber.
On our return our Fly Dubai flight was delayed, missing our Emirates connection but we were met with new onward boarding passes for the following day
We stayed overnight waiting for our connection. Hotel was extremely easy to access and made allowed us easy access to the airport in the morning.

As you do not have any luggage with you, it is easy to pass the airport security, just show them your next ticket/boarding pass.
Travelling from Europe to Dubai before our long haul trip back to Australia, we found the Dubai International Hotel an absolutely joy.
I could not go to the hotel with my suitcase because I had to go through security in order to get there

I finally was able to check in my luggage at midnight but not worth going to the hotel for 2 hours.
The only issue was taking the bus from terminal A took a long time and we had to go through security.
The service to meet you when you deplane and escort you through security in the VIP lanes is an added bonus.

A hotel staff member met us outside of our gate to guide us to the hotel which was invaluable!
We would have gotten lost trying to get to our hotel at the Dubai International Airport had it not.
For when i needed to get my gate info and really helped me from becoming lost at the airport

Such a great device to be met at the plane and taken to luggage transfer then to hotel
The staff of the hotel wait for her coming out of the plane take her to the hotel
I knew this hotel was inside the airport, which is what made it appealing for a long layover.

Any time of the day you can return to DXB by different transportation, plenty of options.
After landing I recommend to proceed to this hotel reception straight away from your gate.
I would have been confused and not known where to go without that service.

We stayed here, arriving late at night, when we had an 8-hour layover.
And within 15 mins of landing we were inside the hotel.
The hotel is not accessible like all normal airport hotels.

Thanks to the personalized meet and greet service. A representative from the hotel met me at the gate and escorted me to the hotel, making the process quick and easy.
I was met at the end of the airbridge by a member of the hotel team who fast tracked me through security and notified reception i was on my way.
The male staff not only led the way to the hotel, but also asked us to sit and relax In the hotel lobby while he waited in line

I was impressed with great service given to me by the Waiter by the name of Baby also all staff is very nice frndly helpful…
Whilst only in transit, service was excellent . Met at the arrivals by Charlie, who was extremely helpful and guided us to the hotel.
Arrived after 1am and the meet and assist staff member was still waiting for us even through it was a 45 min delay.

Special Thank to the guy who was on the floor and help us with our luggage and guide us to the room.
Communication before my arrival on special requests and in my flights details was excellent so everything was ready for my arrival.
I called the hotel to cancel and they kept on lying to me and gave me the run around.

Someone from the hotel came to meet me at my gate and walked me over to the hotel.
Have a concierge meet you at your incoming flight for an even more efficient service.
Been for the able and hospitable welcome of. Justin from the Dubai International Hotel.

However, once we found it the staff were very helpful and welcoming indeed.
I had organized for your staff to meet me so it was great
Thanks hotel staff to give us good services take care of us.

Cannot thank them for the hospitality during my connecting flight via Dubai.
Very helpful staff & prompt service rendered upon calling the room service.
No assistance or support was provided by Expedia or hotel staff.

The staff at the reception ( from Mynammar!) was friendly helpful
Loved that the staff met us outside of our gate!
The staff are quick to respond to calls and requests.

We were met st the gates and shown through security
Great service being met at the gate on arrival.
Fantastic help towards my daughter who is visually impaired

Meet and greet got me quickly through security
And staff was clueless about the airport rules.
The meet and greet service was a highlight.

Greeting service at the arrival gate
Reception staff were very helpful.
& Ahlan staff were excellent.

The only thing that I did not like was the large window in the room overlooking other gates from the 2nd floor where the hotel is located, curtains do not give you 100% darkness to fall asleep.
We find a good night's rest in between connecting flights really helps to significantly reduce jet lag, and often doesn't encroach much on the amount of time you get at your destination.
Personally, for its high price tag, I think one should be able to expect more from the look and feel of the rooms given the top status of the airport itself.

If you want a cost-effective alternative and just need a quiet place to sleep and work, consider the ‘Sleep n’ Fly’ pod / capsule option at Terminal 3.
Depending on the time when you decide to sleep (may be some odd hours) you’ll hear housekeeping in the other rooms, but it is inevitable, tho.
The shower was hot and a dream after a long flight. The towels were very thick and fluffy and the pillows and bed very comfortable

Upgrade to suite was nice. Had a good sleep in comfy bed. Good shower (better pressure and temp control than Emirates 1st class lounge!)
Depending on how tired you are, consider sleeping for a few hours, or have a shower and go for excursion.
A HORRIBLE GREEN LIGHT (MASTER) ON SIDE OF BED KEPT ME AWAKE AND HAD TO USE TOWEL TO COVER EYES.

The room was large, with extremely comfortable beds and even included a massage chair which was an added bonus!
That meant i was from aircraft to my room in maybe 20 minutes thus allowing more time for sleep.
I didn’t hear any noise at all. The shower and facilities in the bathroom were extensive and greatly needed.

And then straight toour room with little fuss. I can tell you no bed was as welcome or comfortable.
It was so quiet and peaceful. had a wonderful sleep and was refreshed for my oward flight.
I would rather pay money for good sleep In a bed rather than sleep on airport seats.

Rooms are spacious and clean. Shower is very good, you ‘ll get slippers, bathrobe, good amenities.
Maybe expect three-star room decor for a greater than five-star price and you will be satisfied.
Showed me to my room, the room was so well equipped with all the amenities

Room was ready with 2 cribs as per our request at the time of reservation.
Everything you would need was provided such as toothbrushes, combs, water, tea and coffee.
Great accommodations with blackout curtains so we could sleep during our long layover.

I paid the executive room upgrade which was definitely worth it for me.
And the pillows were so soft i wanted to take them with me.
As a family, we really appreciated the large room and large shower.

The bright LED lights and ‘Cold’ decor however detracted from the experience.
I liked having the bottled water and coffee there, thank you.
Room is very upmarket, complementary tea and coffee, toiletries, massage chair.

The rooms were clean, quiet, warm and cosy.
Room was very cozy and comfy vibes.
The room is huge and super clean.

The signs say hotel reception this way but the distance on either side is far leading one to wonder if he's going in right direction...I circled back twice then figured lets see further ahead maybe more signage along the way?
- Marina/Jumeirah - Burj Khalifa area Downtown - Bab AL Shams Resort - Conservation Reserve - Sharjah area - Umm AL Quwain Beach - Abu-Dhabi Ferrari - Emirates 7 stars Palace etc.
I HAVE USED THIS HOTEL A NUMBER OF TIMES NOW THE CONVENIENCE OF THE LOCATION IS A BIG DRAW CARD FOR ME TO HELP BREAK UP THE FLIGHT.

Not the cheapest, but located inside the airport is worth the convenience of not having to enter UAE, go through security multiple times, etc.
I recently had the opportunity to stay at the Dubai International Hotel, and I was impressed with the hotel's convenient location
On our way back home from Tunis we had an overnight stopover, we decided to stay at the airport hotel

It is quiet comparing to the hotels in the city as people only sleep here and do not party.
This hotel is inside the airport terminal, and was SO convenient to stay at for my 15 hour layover.
Great location, if you visit opposite areas like Abu-Dhabi and Sharjah, this hotel is just in the middle.

The noise kept me awake with what sounded like furniture moving. Then people talking early morning as well.
In the morning I just had to walk downstairs and down the terminal to get to my gate.
Hotel was surprisingly quiet for such a busy airport, making it easy to get some rest between flights.

Right in the centre of the concourse, close to shops, restaurants and currency exchanges and all gates.
I figured if I go to the airport I can rest and wait for my flight.
You will like ease of access, complete freedom from the sound of the surrounding airport

Very convenient and fanstatic hotel if you are at the airport for long layover.
I will stay here every time I have an overnight layover in Dubai!
Worth every penny for a layover over 8 hours at the Dubai airport.

And surprisingly inspite of being right on top of duty free shops
I appreciate there are plenty of F&B outlets in the airport
I book long excursions, 4-5 or sometimes even 8 hours.

Don’t think we would have found the hotel without him.
It's a great location. Central and easy to get around.
At my fingertips on 6 level of Dubai airport

Close to the gates, sitting on the 1st floor.
This hotel is very convenient, right inside the airport.
Very convenient being right in the airport.

An excellent hotel in the airport
Despite being in the airport
The location

Check-in / Check-out: What guests say

I got to the hotel to check in, they did not have my Expedia number booking reference and they said they don't deal with Expedia.
Check in was smooth and staff friendly. Same as check out. It was nice that check-in and checkout times were flexible to accomodate flight itinerary.
Guests need to be aware that you have to check in your luggage and pass through security before you can access the hotel.

I prefer Dubai International Hotel as it operates with a speed of airport: check-in is very quick, check-out is automatic.
I talked to the manager and he said he would cancel my hotel if they eventually found my reference number.
They did find my reference number and said they would cancel my hotel, I have not received a credit yet.

I checked out of my downtown hotel at noon and my flight was not until 3 am the next day.
I could not check in my suitcase because the counter would only operate 3 hours before the flight.
The hotel manager said I could not cancel but I can use it for the future stay.

Although pricey will not hesitate to check into this hotel in the future.
Queues at the reception, room might not be ready (!)
To get our check-in procedure sorted out.

The hotel's check-in process was seamless
Checked into hotel within 15 mins.
Not able to access hotel

Wasn’t able to check in.
To a seamless check in
Check in was rapid.

Quick check in
Efficient check in
Easy checkout.

I am buying not only food and drinks in Duty Free, but also essentials like travel size cosmetics, t-shirts, sandals etc. that I do not need to carry from home.
TV stations were not easy to navigate with a remote that couldn’t work as fast as you had to select options and the news stations were seemingly unavailable.
It offers a capsule room for sleep and work, a public seating / working area, showers and wash rooms, on tap coffee/tea/soft drinks.

The hotel WiFi requires you reconnect every two hours but seemed to drop more often than that.
And cleanliness were excellent, I would have appreciated a bar / coffee shop in the hotel.
However it would help guests more if there was someone outside the elevator to direct.

Perhaps the remote needed a battery refresh and that can be the case anywhere.
Executive reception, the room and the lounge meant everything was catered for including breakfast.
Dreamfolks is accepted here as well, which makes it seamless to get in.

The hotel's amenities were also impressive
But the hotel itself was clean
And range of amenities.

The hotel was quiet
Had a nice shower
Great facilities

Executive reception, the room and the lounge meant everything was catered for including breakfast.
We didn't experience any meals on this occasion
With all meals provided during our 24-hour stay.

And you’re offered a full fledged buffet.
And enjoyed a delicious room service breakfast.

Food, gym, everything is awesome.food is very delicious, good quality…
Food was very good with a great choice
Also the food was delicious.

FOOD IS EXCELLENT.
