I am so disappointing and I will never come back or recommend this hotel to anyone, easily the worst of the 4 hotels I have stayed in Dubai.

Of course, it was during the COVID and the place was very empty, but nevertheless, the place was very reassuring regarding COVID rules, disinfection and cleanliness.

I’m sorry this has happened to the resort, because I loved my first stay but after this one I won’t go back.

This was my second time staying here, and since COVID the service and condition has gone down a lot.

We would not recommend this hotel to anyone and definitely will not be staying there for a 3rd time!

Ended up being stressed and angry on my vacation.. i don't recommend this place at all. 0/10

We have stayed at this hotel before and really enjoy the small friendly feel to the place.

Management and staff need to have more attention to detail, as standards seem to be slipping.

With the prices charged over the New Year Holiday this was extremely poor value for money.

Perhaps a few years ago this was amazing, but now it lacks the luxury You expect.

We didn’t get our money either. We left 5 days before our check out date.

It was very good for relax and spending most of your time at the resort.

We were really looking forward to a cracking hotel stay in a five star place.

We stayed in this hotel 4 years ago and it was such a lovely experience.

The property was not only totally old but also not maintained and very dirty.

So, it’s recommended to book a hotel near by other than this hotel

It wasn’t what I expected compared to what the website looks like.

This is our 9th visit to Dubai and stay in this property.

Awful experience and wouldn’t recommend this place unless you absolutely have to.

Pretty worn out and outdated overall, but I can live with it.

By the way... it can’t be even a 4 Star Hotel overall.

The property really does not deserve the 4.5 stars it has.

I stayed here for a month and would definitely comeback again

Because of him I will return to this hotel again.

Service Issues and Operational Inefficiencies

Relax at Dubai

Ask reception to give a room on the first floor, my room was on the second floor, so I carried my bags up and down. At nighttime, it's hard to find your room number, because they don't have lights. The toilet flush wasn't working right, you have to push for 20 sec to flash the toilet. With their towels, you can scrub your skin or use it in a Moroccan bath).

One of our business partner had to keep asking to fix the air condition. It wasn’t working properly. He couldn’t sleep the first night. The next day he ask to be fixed and still didn’t worked. He wasn’t offered to be moved to a different room.

Water linkage from the roof, dripping all night coul not sleep the first night, we had to change room for the second night, the fridge on the second room does not work

Non-smoking room with a strong smell of cigarette (?) and neighbours up till late with kids running around, screaming and tossing toys all over the place. Can’t live with it!

Rooms are on a small side but perfectly fine as we only sleep there. Beds are also small unless you book a room with a balcony or twin room.

We booked junior suite and we expected to find big fridge and microwave in the suite, but we found small and non-cold fridge, and we didn’t find a microwave.

I booked the most expansive room they had (jacuzzi suite) for a romantic vacation with my woman, only to find out that the jacuzzi i paid for was broken

If the rooms were updated it would be a great place to stay. Unfortunately they feel like they were last renovated decades ago, particularly the bathrooms.

We stayed at the suite with an outside jacuzzi. The room is relatively clean but had lot of ants and found a cockroach in the room.

Moreover, they didn’t give us the room key in first night and we MUST call them and wait for someone to open the room for us!

Toiletries are a bit “cheap” for being in a 5 star hotel and, on top of it, one of them was half used. Really? Come on!

The sheets were old, the plugs in my room were faulty, the bath tub stopper was stuck, I found myself showering ankle deep in water.

The room had a lot of issue - the tub wasn’t draining, the sink faucet was broken, and the floors were filthy/not cleaned.

Room w/ jacuzzi: jacuzzi was unclean and required 3hrs of Maintenace to fix the heater which did not work as per standards.

I paid for a room upgrade with balcony to oversee a dirty piece of land the neighbouring wall and some dying trees.

New room, almost identical, same floor, same number, but the bidet was gone (?). I can still live without it.

Second, I had no hot water for shower at 7:30 am on second day in a country with such heat!

I had a minor issue with my room's toilet (it had a drip that didn't stop after flushing).

The room was only superficially and we had the sole of our feet black walking on the floor.

Additionally, the soap dish was empty, had no hair conditioner and was not refilled after 4 days.

Rooms in small ‘villa’ type buildings. My room disappointing small and no view but was cheapest one.

The hotel provided me with worn out towels that does not fit a 5 stars hotel .

Our room had a large wardrobe but no chest of drawers for our cloths.

It was comfortable and so on, but the first room the water was brown.

They upgraded our room, and helped us with extra bed worh no additional charges.

The rooms are a bit tired and could do with an upgrade.

And my only option was for me to do room service.

The room was nothing like we booked the pictures were deceiving.

Water pressure is terrible, bathroom soap dishes are chipped

Security is also an issue. Encountered some male guests who were harassing us and the security didn’t say anything to stop it.

I called front desk and they did offer to send a maintenance person but I had to get to work by 9.

Staff, on the contrary, is very friendly and gently, like you would expect from every hotel here in the UAE.

All staff were kind to us and I especially like to thank the housekeepers for their neat work.

The staff were generally unhelpful and we did not feel like we were staying in a 5* hotel.

I think the best feature of the hotel is the excellent service of Seariders watersports. First rate.

They neither showed us around nor gave us any information about the hotel and the area.

The hospitality of the staffs is the important reason what makes me choose this hotel

No real customer care service, no response to our complains, no respect for our time

The only staff that were friendly and helpful were the bar staff by the sea.

When I told her afterwards she took about 1hr to verify with front desk

The staff were friendly especially Jahid who went beyond his role to help me.

I felt happy and welcomed when many staffs I met last year remembered me.

Also when I asked for slippers they brought them to the wrong room.

Service was amazing!!! all of the staff are friendly and attentive.

The staff indeed was a great part of my wonderful experience.

The staff were very reassuring regarding COVID rules, disinfection and cleanliness.

Amazing service specially from (Assem) she was really professional and nice.

Although bar service around the sunbeds was little to none.

I was not pleased with the location of the hotel as there is no subway station nearby and it is far away from the major shopping malls such as Dubai and the Emirates mall .

The only negative is in the evening specially the weekend it’s like a nightclub outside the main door which for family as a Muslim was not good.

The only good thing about this hotel is the beach access - but the view is awful now since they are building apartments and hotels nearby.

If you don't mind the higher temperatures and want a nice quiet relaxing break in Dubai then this is well worth it.

There is a mosque very close by that has loud broadcasts of call to pray at about 5am in the morning.

I regularly heard music from the local Mosque, this didn’t bother me and the mosque is beautiful and worth seeing.

The resort was extremely quiet adding to the anticipated relaxation but still with the vast majority of restaurants etc open.

Lovely small beach and several restaurants overlooking the beach/sea. Various other restaurants/shops within walking distance including large supermarket opposite.

There is a large mosque nearby and morning prayers woke us up at 5:30am for the 1st to nights.

Beach: you don’t wanna know. Like swimming in an industrial area: a tiny enclave surrounded by buildings under construction.

It has a nice private beach and the location is perfect since it’s close to malls beaches etc.

The beach is very small which is contrary to the pictures on the Expedia website.

But unfortunately some guests are very noisy when returning to their rooms after midnight.

There are many shops and restaurants within a short walk that makes it convenient.

I remember many years back the property to be the location in Dubai.

Not helped by alarm at 3 am and banging doors into early hours

There's a short walk from the apartments to the beach, restaurants and spa.

And this place is an oasis compared to the busy city.

Location was great And the nearby bars and restaurants were excellent

A place we will return to when next in Dubai.

The only fault I had was there was nothing really to do in the evening for families so could do with some form of entertainment

Upon arrival the electricity was not properly working, also the shower pressure was very low or very very low not to pour on top

Sun-beds are stained, umbrellas are falling apart and personnel will cover you in sand in an attempt to clean the mats.

Definitely the hotel needs renovation in terms of furniture , bathrooms , and technology.

Extra charge for an ice bucket and extra cost for substandard coffee pods.

Oh, right, WIFI... lucky if you get a good bandwidth throughout the day.

The hotel grounds are very pleasant with tree-lined walkways to the villas.

Terrible property, worst part dirty with plastics, cigarette rests all over etc.

We asked the resort to provide our expectations, but they don’t.

The property does not have a 5 start hotel facilities claimed.

I tried to take breakfast with me to go sit outside near the pools since there was no room and no clean tables near breakfast

Beach and pool facilities were great with sun all day which is a plus in Dubai

Pools were a bit to warm but nice place to relax early evening

And pool are of interest to some (I did not visit them).

The jacuzzi was dirty so had to get someone to clean it.

The server at the pool didn’t give me the discount

With access to a beautiful private beach and great pools.

We noticed that the prices for food and drinks in the hotel are creeping up and the quality / value is not the same. Some restaurants were closed during our stay.

I also had a 20% off of food and beverages for my stay

And then told me I only had 15% off of beverages.

Most of the restaurants were closed for renovation.

Even the restaurants like Flooka is a disaster.

When I arrived I was told I have no reservation. Two others got involved and eventually ‘found’ that I did indeed have reservation. It took so long I almost decided to leave.

It was so bad that we did not stay for the whole booking duration and booked ourselves in another hotel for the rest of the trip.

Also, when I checked-in the system was not working and they let us waiting for LONG time.

After a few nights, he went to checkout and booked at The One and Only Hotel.

We had to checkout a few days earlier and so did our business partners.

So I couldn’t ask for a partial refund for my stay.

And by the time I checked out it was 4AM

Waited over 30min to check out

Luckily got my room early

Including terrible check-out staff

Whenever we went out of the hotel we asked for a local taxi to be booked for us, but the staff always pushed us to book a hotel taxi which is triple the cost!

Icing on the cake, when you go out and look for a taxi they will seat you in a private one, which costs almost the double compared to a regular one.

I had asked for someone to pick up my lugguage from my building which was around 400m away from main lobby and after 15min I carried the suitcase myself.

Why would anyone want to pay higher costs for a a taxi and it felt very unfair the hotel were pushing us to do so.

Problem with my card and when refunded and put on correct card I lost £28 on refund and charged an extra £30 on the other

Suggest paying before you go if you can as the exchange rates messed up costs

And I needed to get to the airport

This got really annoying each day we stayed.

And cart arrival which did not happen.

Booked us all different hotels.

The service at breakfast was poor - the food was a mess, tables were dirty, and staff were not able to meet the number of clients that were trying to manage breakfast.

The breakfast was not a 5* breakfast and since it is in a much smaller restaurant the options were limited and it gets very busy.

At Breakfast specially Baskii at the door / she was very helpful and also the waiters at breakfast was very professional.

Breakfast: don’t you dare. Go outside and have a decent breakfast somewhere else.

Had to wait 15 mins for an omelette to be made.

The breakfast options were amazing and the food was lovely.

Breakfast buffet is the best I have ever experienced.

And when my lady tried to relax she asked for the spa and massage therapy but she was told that spa is under renewal

And wonder spa which I took full advantage of all the amenities.

Spa treatments good selection - but a bit pricey.
