This ruined our stay quite honestly, I know works have to be done occasionally but surely not at this hour in a hotel.

Even though it was their responsibility to keep everything clean for the clients and when we got there it wasn’t the case

If anyine wants to stay at the hotel just be conscious that your personal items are likeky to be stolen.

I expected more from this hotel brand . All in all , I felt my stay here was average .

I only stayed there for 1 night because I was staying at their sister hotel for 5 days.

Busy hotel with all different walks of people staying there . Best suited for adults 25-40 .

The hotel is very nicely appointed with a unique design, comfortable rooms and great options for F&B.

Hotel seems like it could do with some TLC in a few places but generally good condition.

Overall this hotel is good for cleanliness and may be very good for young party goers.

If you are looking for fun, relaxation at a good price this place is for you.

It would have been a great short break, but the sad experience ruined it all.

They will not return your deposit even if u touch a can of pop only

And it felt very annoying and uncomfortable waiting in my spa robe in another floor.

I jad to stay extra days to help police in their investigations.

Apart from those 2 things the rest of the stay was great.

I think Hotels.com needs to review its rating of this hotel.

All in all I would give my experience an 8/10

Overall, not the standard I expected from this hotel.

A five star that has thieves around the hotel.

Overall, the hotel has brought disrepute to the UAE.

Far from a 5 star experience that’s for sure.

That was the only downside to my experience.

And affordable with great amenities for all.

Never come back for this hotel again.

Frustrating Delays and Low Food Quality

My stay was memorable, thanks largely to the friendliness and attentiveness of the staff. Maxon, in particular, left a lasting impression. He has a rare gift for truly listening to guests and making them feel heard, especially when challenges arise. His calm, thoughtful approach and willingness to go the extra mile turned what could have been frustrating moments into opportunities to feel cared for. It’s clear he doesn’t just see hospitality as a job—it’s something he genuinely believes in.

While the housekeeping team could refine their attention to detail, the warmth and professionalism of people like Maxon more than made up for it. He’s the kind of person who reminds you that great service is about connection, not just transactions.

She said this is all I have for now and I will put you in the Marina room tomorrow, I said I need the roll with the Burj Khalifa she kept repeating I will move you to the Marina room.

The only downside was a rude lady bar tender who worked outside kept constantly coming up to us moaning and insisting on tips etc, a lot of other guests were complaining about her attitude as well.

When i showed them the receipt that i had paid, they still pushed for the money. And even came to my table with the card machine to push me to pay.

Although I was assured that the police would do all it takes to ensure they retrieve my items, it still leaves a bad taste which is a real shame

Service very slow . any service to me they asking me to pay first ( look like i am stealing. simply the priority for them is paying.

The room service was extremely slow — it took at least 45 minutes every time we asked for something simple like towels or drinks.

Each time this was reported to management, they would take 24 hours to send a manager, after multiple phone calls requesting one.

We asked for a reimbursement to be able to move to another hotel but they said that a reimbursement was not possible.

The staff was very friendly and attended, tried to help and assist in everything, super fast and proficient.

Then the staff tried to gaslight me into thinking I misplaced my jewelry which was not the case.

I am still hoping that the police investigation would yield positive results as I cherished those Jewelries.

Housekeeping was phenomenal! Every day we came back to find our rooms neat and items organized.

Although there are assurances that the police will catch the culprit and retrieve my items.

However, they had someone bring my watch over and security brought it to my room.

The staff were only interested in getting you to spend rather than address their mistakes.

The receptionist said my room will have the view of Burj Khalifa

The staffs willingness to go the extra mile for customers was admirable

The manager would come say give us another chance.

I told front desk but never heard anything back.

I left my Apple Watch on the food cart.

The manager had given us a discounted upgrade

And the staff was great as well.

The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Everyone else at the hotel was amazing

Then this would all repeat again.

I was very appreciative of that

Then another day the cleaner opened my door and left it wide open. And left, nowhere to be seen. I had gone down 5 minutes before and forgot my card so went back to get it and found my door open with nobody around anywhere. Nothing was missing but i didnt like coming back to my room open for anyone and everyone to walk in.

2. There are so many amenities missing in the bathroom !! Where’s the shower cap ? Where’s the comb?? And the squeeze soap bottles wouldn’t even squeeze which I found really annoying and I expected more from this hotel brand. Plus the shower hose was leaking.

First room: when we got into the room a smell of cigar smoke hit us hard, the sofa was dirty, the toilet kept running water and the lamp was of full of dust.

We were in a high floor (34th) balcony room which was nice as the bathroom was to the side of the bedroom so you also got views from the bath.

Second room, because we were not going to stay on the first one: The floor was dirty, the curtains stained, the table top stained and the bathroom door didn’t close.

Stayed in the most expensive room om the 59tj floor and it smelt of cigarettes and vomit. Unpleasant odours in the four bedroom villa. This ruined our experience.

Even though a “noisy” / busy hotel, rooms are very insulated so it never bothers you and you don’t hear it

I had asked for a good view and a room above 50th floor since I was coming back after 5 years.

Everything in the room was on good shape, and the private pools are especially nice for a couple retreat.

I did not like the lies that was told and I was not put on any floors above 50z

I went down immediately and showed the video of the balcony view and there was no burj Khalifa..

Missing items in the room and constant call reception to remind them on things that are missing.

The view from my room was stunning, and the room itself was also very nice.

My friends and I book a 4 bedroom Penthouse, and all bedrooms had bathrooms inside.

Room was great, cleanliness was great too, sink drain blocked but they sorted it asap

Our room upgrade was 3000AED and we ended up in a room overlooking the pool.

The wrap. around patio, with stunning views was breathtaking from the balcony, our rooms

We loved your hotel room, especially our own private pool.

I stayed in the room with the personal jacuzzi.

Great spacious room. Amazing balcony views. Spacious wet room/bathroom.

The hotel itself has anything you need, from transportation to household and other services . The hotels main pool was also nice and the staff always check every visitors to make sure you are safe.

Also it's low season so I'm very sure it would have been possible to not use any rooms in this area while the work needed to be done.

What I didn't find ok was at 7am there was heavy building maintenance outside the inner door on an open large balcony adjoining.

This wasn't just light work it included welding, concrete bashing and circular saw cutting which made any further sleep impossible.

Did not get to participate in the numerous activities that the hotel provides however they appeared fun.

This hotel offers a lot of amenities, which was wonderful, and the cleanliness was excellent.

They have everything on the property is you need a club or food.

It’s a glorified 18-30 with pool parties and shots in the pool nonsense.

5 phone calls for someone to fix the espresso machine.

2 hour wait for someone to come clean the jacuzzi.

The cleanness that was provided with an amazing view.

Half board option was good as well ..

Daily chocolate platter was very indulgent.

Took two hours to receive towels.

The property was very clean.

Nice building

Do not waste your time with this location, they ignore any requests and complaints until you make a fuss about it, and even then, they do the bare minimum.

Additionally, the hotel could get quite noisy at times due to a lot of young people partying late into the night.

R&B bashing out from 10.30am-1.30am with the construction noise of Dubai starting at 5am..,, sleep was not an option.

It’s very much a party hotel so some guests can be noisy well into the early hours.

Location not really ideal specially if you intending to stay connedted to downtown and business bay

The only downside is the distance from the main part of dubai

Get free access to the Palm Jumeirah if you need the beach.

Convenient location with access to other FIVE hotels by the Jameriah Beach.

As long as you don’t mind being in JVC area

Sadly, this should not haooen in the UAE.

My card didn’t work in the elevator and I got stuck in a different floor waiting for more than 15 mins for someone from the reception to come and provide me access to my floor! My card was deactivated before my check-out time

Check-in process was a mess. Having reached at 12noon, they couldn't allocate a room till 4pm and that too only after contacting them twice at the reception, even though they took my number

Checked out one night early from my reservation because of my awful experience and they still did not even refund that last night.

Everything from when I first checked in to my check out was handled with the upmost quality

But it was a mistake to wait an hour after checkin time for the room.

Check in 2h late and pressure to chexk out at 12.

And when I check in, it was not there.

And we couldn’t check in during my early arrival.

The agent that checked me in was great!

Goose bar was really good to chill and watch football, the pool was really nice, the food was nice from all the places i visited in the hotel.

Request some ice to my drink they told me I should pay 20 Durham ( charge about 5 Dollar) for the ice !!

I didn’t like I was able to get the kabobs off the grill it wasn’t a part of the menu.

Our dining experience at the Italian restaurant was amazing.

The food quality was also below expectations.

3. Breakfast was really underwhelming and again I expected more from this brand . The food buffet items were cold and nothing unique . You can get all the same food from lesser known hotel brands that I’ve stayed in Dubai previously . Have breakfast early from around 6.30 - 8am for a better experience because after 8am it gets very busy.

There was only 2 problems i found they are pushy for double payment. I paid for breakfast at the reception they day i arrived and the next day at breakfast they tried to charge me again.

However, I didn’t enjoy the breakfast much because there weren’t many choices available.

The breakfast in the morning was delicious and very convenient.

The pool was a little dirty so we were upgraded and the room was great.

The infinity pool area was relaxing, inviting and peaceful.

And at the pool but nothing unbearable.

The good points:

1. It’s really difficult to get a taxi from this hotel and there is no system for the staff to book a taxi for you . Some of the staff will not help to book a taxi for you. I have never had this issue at much lesser known hotel brands I’ve stayed in Dubai . There are hotel taxis available but they will charge you 2 or 3 times more than the price of a normal metered taxi. You will have to just stand and wait for a normal taxi to come past .

4. There is NO free shuttle to the Five hotel in palm Jumeirah!! Despite online saying that there is!!

Because we didn’t rent a car and would have had to Uber there and then back.

And willing to take cars slightly longer drive toward palm, marina, business bay etc

No longer offer the shuttle to Palm which was disappointing.
