The owners invested money in the hotel, in the kitchen, and made everything top-notch, but because of people like Stefan, we will not be coming back here, just like other people who have encountered his rudeness and unfair treatment of the hotel's guests!

There are bunches of women that come in the night for the sole purpose of finding men, it’s an absolutely disgusting idea environment for anyone coming as a family, they should genuinely be ashamed.

Overall, Five Lux Dubai Pool is a great spot for luxury lovers seeking a good time. It is highly recommended for both romantic dates and friendly gatherings. I will definitely return here again!

I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Dubai, and I would like to give special thanks to Ajay for making my stay unforgettable. I will definitely be returning!

Guests appreciate the Ibiza-inspired beats and the energetic vibe, making it a popular spot for both locals and tourists.

So we only planned to stay for a quick drink but ended up spending the whole afternoon.

Bikash the Front Office Manager was the highlight of our stay - I work in the hospitality industry and can honestly say he is one of the best Front Office Managers I have ever had the pleasure of meeting - his attention to detail and outstanding service will be something that we will truly remember when we choose to return to this hotel again next year and should be commended.

We had an amazing experience with the photographer mido at FIVE Luxe! He captured beautiful moments of me and my wife — the photos came out stunning. He’s not only talented but also incredibly friendly and full of positive energy, which made the whole shoot so much fun. Highly recommended for anyone looking for professional and creative photos!

One of the highlights of my stay was the exceptional service. A staff member named Ajay went above and beyond to make my trip memorable. He was always available to assist, offering spot‑on recommendations for bars, dining options, and hotel services, which truly enhanced my experience. His friendly and professional approach made me feel like a valued guest.

Only the hotel security at the lobby is so annoying and keeps watching me as I was waiting for my friend to come to the restaurant. He came to me asking me to leave even I showed him the reservation of the restaurant supper annoying and he looks so desperate in life.

I had a great experience at FIVE Hotel, and a big part of that was thanks to Manager Monica. She is extremely professional, friendly, and always willing to help. Monica made sure everything was smooth and comfortable during our stay, and her attention to detail truly stood out.

We spent most of our days at the pacha beach club and had the delight of having Ankit as our host for majority of those days. He made the experience one to remember. Ankit answered all our questions and made our stay unforgettable.

The service was wonderful from the time that you entered the lobby, going to the breakfast buffet or even enter in the elevator the politeness and the professionalism of the staff is the best I’ve seen in years!

We are celebrating our honeymoon and we received amazing treatment, especially from a girl named Lia, Anel, Maryen, Vimansa Aruna and all Guest relations team are amazing! Specially Lia who made our stay memorable.

The manager, Stefan, said that we had been gone for 15 minutes and that he had the right to remove our belongings wherever he saw fit and sell those spots...

All the team at this hotel are amazing, but there a few others that we would like to mention for all their hard work during our stay:

We brought this to the attention of Rajesh, the Head Butler, and he handled the situation with the utmost professionalism and care.

Regina from start to finish made my stay extremely special and made my birthday feel like a dream come true.

From the warm welcome at check-in to the attentive service throughout my visit, their hospitality was exceptional.

I had to go and find them and ask them to help with our luggage.

I would say service is definitely not up to standard as a five star

The staff are very polite and helpful (if a little nervous and inexperienced).

Mina and Daniyal always went the extra mile and were gracious hosts.

To the warm and attentive service, every detail was handled with care.

The service was always prompt and delivered with a warm smile.

The experience, the team, the housekeeping, especially Hussein was great.

Right from the start, the hotel staff were amazing.

The service from Hsu was fantastic and attentive

His professionalism and welcoming attitude truly stood out.

Sona and Laila was so helpful and kind!

The management’s attitude was dismissive and careless.

We were half board and went to the Japanese restaurant. We were looking forward to the Michelin recommended food. Our options were basic. The starter was pretty good but the main course was very poor (I couldn’t eat it as the teriyaki sauce was burnt and the chicken was dry) and the desert was barely a desert (mochi).

Lastly the food. I have travelled all over the world and been to some of the best restaurants in the world and I must say that quality of the food is astonishing and quite price worthy. Yes expensive but worth every penny. I would especially recommend Ronin. They should get a macaron I think.

The food quality and restaurants are unbelievable, even the food around the pool feels like you’re dining in a restaurant, but the thing that continues to stand out every year is the staff and they are the main reason we choose to return.

I enjoyed my lunch at pacha pool great service great by mr joseph really helpful me and my freibds really enjoyed our time looking to come back soon for this lovely hospitality and great food and ambience top class 5⭐️ people

And the highlight for us, the French Tete A Tete which I don't know how it still doesn't have Michelin stars, one of the best meals we've ever had in our lives, yes!!! I'm not exaggerating!!!

I had a wonderful experience at Ronin, a Japanese restaurant with a stunning atmosphere and even better food. The cocktails were delicious, the dishes were beautifully prepared, and every bite was full of flavor.

On the flip side, you can go next door to the hotel bar/restaurant, and get beer,,,lagers,,,ipa for £6...£7 a pint, during happy hour, and happy hour is from 12noon to 9pm. Superb prices.

I had a great experience at the Japanese restaurant there called ronin. What a professional stuff and the food I can rate it as the best ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

We stayed on a halfboard base and it was the best. You could choose when you used it, lunch or dinner, and how you used it (menu or à la carte).

I visit tete a tete restaurant for dinner the food was really nice and the service too and the hostess was so lovely thank you for the good experience

I got a chance to visit «Ronin» restaurant that located in Five Luxe and it was an amazing experience with very tasty food, delicious drinks

The cocktail and snack menu also deserves praise—variety of drinks and quality cuisine allowed me to enjoy not only swimming but also culinary delights.

I went to the Ronin Restaurant in Five Luxe JBR today. It was good vibes, delicious food, exotic serving, great service. Highly recommend!

Paradiso bar is very nice for a good sunset photo, but just dont expect to get drunk here as service isnt the fastest.

Ambience so welcoming, service attention to details special thanks to Anil, Karishma for great service and Chef Erik for the delicious food.

The food was honestly next level — especially the sushi, the presentation and the small details were just perfect.

Pool restaurant prices are extortionate, and food bland, so in effect no food or drinks available on site

Perfect spot if you love good energy, great food, and a bit of Ibiza in Dubai.

We left hungry and had to order food from outside, costing us 1,000 AED.

We had lovely cocktails and foods and very nice ambience as well.

And the IRD service, the best pasta I have ever had

The food is very good.

The rooms are equipped with modern amenities. Lighting system was top notch. The way I was able to control the lighting, I was amazed. Curtains were also button controlled and it was a great view, with the exception of the construction that is going on. Outside the balcony there was a huge generator with a very loud noise, that was going on 24x7.

The only thing I had an issue with was one of the people who came to clean my room the first time broke my universal plug I just purchased so I couldn’t use certain things for the remainder of trip like my curling iron but luckily they had an in wall usb for my iphone charger and usb ports on the tvs.

The maintenance told us that they need to open the tub to adjust the water valves. We asked them not to, as we are staying for 1 night. We added some cold water via water bottles just to bring it to acceptable range for an infant.

Every couple had a fantastic stay at the hotel with great rooms but the highlight for us was the amazing birthday room upgrade we received with balloons , champagne and cake , not to mention the lovely Robes we were gifted.

We rushed to our room to grab a much needed sleep but the music from the pool came into our room even with the doors shut. I had to put the tv on to try and drown it out.

There is no mirror in the room only in the bathroom. I found this very strange considering if you are trying to get ready and you don’t have a mirror for hair tools etc outside of the bathroom.

Last but not least, the House Keeping Team were superb. Unfortunately I did not manage to get her name, but the lady who cleaned my room each day was so kind and always left the room spotless.

At first our room had a serious drainage issue. For two days, we had some loud noises coming from the toilet. The second day, the gutter started to spit crap out of the drain hole.

Even the DJ making every effort to make me leave my room, I wasn’t disturbed, gladly sitting in pool on the terrace with an astonishing view sipping on a drink.

Room had a ‘kitchen’ (oven, cooktop) and we like to prep our own food but not a single kitchen item in there. Not even a fork, dish sponge - nothing.

Despite not using the second room and already staying as a guest in another suite, the management refused to handle the situation professionally or provide any clear guidance.

For our final night, they surprised us with an incredible room upgrade, complete with a private pool—it was such a perfect way to end our time in Dubai.

The room was perfect, very modern. Had 2 loungers on our balcony and seating. We requested a low floor, and ended up on the 1st floor. Fantastic.

Immediately the Concierge when he saw our room was facing the building works he took us back to reception, we were allocated a stunning room.

The ambience of the hotel is amazing, the room was great with Sauna and a hot tub as expected based on the booking.

Here is another surprise. The first water came out was reddish, due to some rust. But I managed to clear it out.

Housekeeping services were persistently subpar, with rooms not being properly cleaned, and the overall maintenance of the hotel was lackluster.🙃

Avoid this hotel if you want a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere -- or else get a room facing the city.

The views might have been nice , if I weren’t too distracted by the chipped furniture and uncomfortable bed.

The rooms aren’t even that great, like the pictures don’t match h the rooms and they aren't very clean.

Light switches all over the room, bathroom one side of the room but dressing room on the other side.

This one was at the side of the hotel and overlooked building work with constant drilling noises. Awful.

Went with our baby and travel cot provided was fantastic, free water and coffee daily in the room.

The 2 bedroom apartments with pool on the balcony was a perfect space for our family.

We booked three rooms and even paid extra to upgrade one to a suite.

I felt I was home in my Townhouse love how big the suits are…

We started to sort out the situation and look for our belongings; it turned out that our things had been thrown onto someone else's wet towels near the toilets at the far end of the beach.

I enjoyed my stay here as I was able to walk to all shops and restaurants which were a plenty. It was also walkable to the marina walk, which I also enjoyed very much.

After being away for about 1.5 to 2 hours, we returned to find that our things were missing from our lounger, and other people, not from our hotel, were in our spots.

I should also add that if you are a huge fan of the beach, at the time of our stay it was barricaded with sand bags, perhaps to prevent beach erosion.

It should be mentioned that the resort is located on a busy strip at the base of the Palm Jumeirah and the traffic in this area can be super congested.

I didn’t realise until late that this was pacha resort with party people with the usual stereotypes but nevertheless it didn’t compromise my experience.

Having said that, it is an excellent location in that you are not confined to the resort, unlike the resorts on the Palm proper.

The view from the restaurant was absolutely breathtaking — overlooking the iconic Palm, the Ferris wheel, the sparkling sea, and the stunning Dubai Marina.

The hotel’s prime location made it very convenient to explore nearby attractions, and the stunning views of the city added to the overall charm.

We were not informed prior to arrival that the beach was not accessible in front of the hotel due to works going on.

On the JBR strip. Very close to all the restaurants/cafes/beach and shisha places. Shout out to smoky beach going strong for many years!

Incredible atmosphere, fun entertainment, and a perfect mid-week escape with your girls. Definitely one of the hottest spots in Dubai right now🤍🤍🍒🏝️

We were told we could use the beach on five the palm but that is a 20 minute taxi ride away.

Perfect location on JBR if you want to have a walk out without the need for taxis unlike some other hotels.

The location is excellent right on the beach at JBR and within walking distance of cafés, shops and the promenade.

There are any number of restaurants, shops, and coffee houses within a 5-10 min walk including "the walk at JBR".

Hotel is located on the private beach near Ritz Calton and Rixos in JBR , extremely convenient location.

The location is also a big plus — right on the JBR Walk, making it convenient and lively.

My friends and I spent an amazing afternoon at Playa Pacha at Five Luxe.

Also, don’t miss Wet Cherry Wednesdays – the Ladies Day is on another level!

Nice area to walk so you have choices in how you utilise your time.

Also to top it off beach closed but was never informed of this

Location is bad for traffic if you have to move around Dubai

Great location and atmosphere, lovely for a weekend vibe.

Amazing view of the giant Dubai Eye ferris wheel.

Close to cove beach and other shopping places.

I frequently visit Dubai for business and pleaure.

One day we were going up to our room to change and leaving items on our day bed and a member of staff asked me where I was going and that my bed would be given to someone else if not back in 45 mins. I was actually going using the gym before getting my lunch by the pool but I was so thrown by the personal question from the staff member that I didn’t elaborate. This is not ok, if I want to do an hour workout before having my lunch by the pool this should be ok!

At the weekends I felt that outside guests were given priority. In other words guests who were paying for day beds. A small section was for hotel guests on the busy weekend days but if these beds were already occupied then this was your own problem, and yes this is a problem considering there were works going on in the beach so the beach was not an option to sit out at either.

Managed to finally get a sunbed and then asked for an umbrella due to a health condition to be then told no due to front row !! Asked to move and was told sorry no other beds available !!! Unless we pay mega money for unused beds in middle pool area.

At one point an extremely loud alarm was going off (won’t let me attach video) We had to go inside and were shrugged off when we asked about it . This must’ve gone on for about an hour and made the pool area unusable.

Ok so this hotel is a vibe! A dj and party music every day by the pool. Not so much a quiet family hotel I’d say but very popular with adults who want to have fun.

Five Lux Dubai Pool is an amazing place for relaxation and unwinding. The pool is located on the rooftop of the hotel and offers stunning views of the city and the Persian Gulf.

Nishi by the pool was alert to the point where if you didn’t have any water in your glass he would come over to pour it for you without even asking.

We went outside to blasting music around the pool area, were not permitted to sit on particular sun loungers and were not offered any drinks for the full 3 hours.

What a vibe, the pool area? What pool party's are supposed to like, with the most beautiful girls and best margarita pizza 😂😂 that California Maki also tastes so good.

Why do they blast rave or dance club music -- boom boom boom -- consistently every day from 1 pm to 7 pm -- from the pool area.

The pool staff were also more attentive to day rate paying guests as opposed to hotel guests and slow to bring the bill when requested etc.

If you don't like music by the pool, then this hotel is not for you... however, I loved the banging tunes, and am no spring chicken.

Furthermore, it was disappointing to discover that the best pool in the area was not accessible to hotel guests without an additional fee.

Pool beds are a joke in shade all morning unless you fork out a fortune to pay for beach club pool beds

Went back room to take medication to then find out our sunbed had been given to someone else by time I returned.

If you’re looking for a place to vibe at the pool with some drinks and hookah this is the place to be.

However, the large beds/ loungers by the pool side of the main pool cost extra, I believe, Friday to Sunday.

We arrived on the Sunday and were welcomed to use the pool while we waited to for our room.

This hotel isn't for people who don't like a vibe and music around the pool but great for us.

Playa Pacha at FIVE LUXE is a total vibe!✨ Chic atmosphere, amazing music, stylish poolside setup and top service.

In addition to that, we tried to use the pools for our baby, but it was cold for him.

There were clearly working girls around the pool picking up clients. Which, especially as a woman, was horrendous.

Pacha pool is the best place to relax best of vibes and the ambiance is super good

Comfortable lounge chairs and a cozy atmosphere create perfect conditions for spending a day in the sun.

The techno music around the pool is loud, even in the high floor rooms overlooking the pool.

Loungers were available, but you just couldn't walk straight into the water from the resort.

The pool area is loud, brash and tasteless.

The drinks by the pool are very expensive.

The beds in the pool were great

We especially loved the inside pool area.

Regardless of the new building , I am surprised and disappointed that a hotel of this caliber is allowed to hold a 5 star rating in Dubai as it’s definitely not even 3 stars ⭐️ .

In the end we booked a beach club in another location on the Friday considering the beds were already taken and a fee would be charged to rent other beds in the hotel.

Finally, we wanted to watch Netflix on the TV. Even though it was equipped with a Chromecast, we had to ask IT to come and reconfigure the Chromecast as it was not working.

A great place to relax, a huge relaxation area, comfortable sun loungers, wonderful staff, thank you! The music is a special pleasure! Everything for a great mood!

We politely asked if we could get some water and they said ofcourse but nobody has even bought out a glass of water for us.

Additionally, our stay was marred by constant disruptions from construction work and noisy workers next door, which detracted from the overall tranquility of the experience.

This hotel is not cheap to stay at so to have to pay to sit on a day bed in my eyes is obsurd.

The interior was modern yet warm, with elegant Japanese touches and a stylish, cozy vibe that made the whole evening even more enjoyable.

What I loved most is how everything at FiveLux is thoughtfully designed — from the cleanliness to the cozy atmosphere in every corner.

The property itself is modern, vibrant, and impeccably maintained, with plenty of amenities that cater to both leisure and business travelers.

The Japanese interior was really cool and I enjoyed the fun touch of the gong sounding when new patrons entered,

The property is visually impressive: the lobby is grand with floor-to-ceiling windows, modern furnishings and a “glam resort” feel.

The day club is ideal for old Ibiza clubbers who now have a little more expensive taste.

We also managed to take lots of beautiful photos — the place is perfect for it.

It was clean but don’t try and use the bath as the water runs cold.

Sticky floors, watered-down drinks, and music so loud and offbeat it felt like punishment.

Pretty poor standards in regards to the fittings and many appliances not working properly

They had a big DJ concert and the noise was reaching every room.

The hotel's design is modern and luxurious, with every detail carefully thought out.

They have multiple nice venues with outdoor terraces overseing the beach.

We escaped to the ‘pub’ where again, prostitution was in progress.

Even for deliveries you have to come downstairs to pick up.

Well organized and staffed, with a great aspect to hygiene.

I also loved the design and décor of the place

How they cater for the kids is amazing.

We enjoyed a lot with pacha music

We then tried to check in and as I was speaking to the concierge lady she just ignored every question of mine and was just texting away on her phone as I was trying to speak to her.

We are here for a birthday and did ask for an early check in but obviously not available with no indication when the room would be ready.

At 3pm we went to reception to get our key. Our room wasn’t ready. We sat in reception for another hour and a half.

Arrived 2.30 am, to discover they had cancelled my booking without any notice, and the cancellation had been done days prior to arrival.

Check your bill when check out they wanted to charge me extra for drinks I didn’t have from the mini bar

I faced a double-booking issue, which I reported immediately during check-in, yet the hotel showed no willingness to help.

Randesh from the Reception who assisted with our check-in and welcomed us warmly after a long day of travelling.

And upon checkout they were stalling and wouldn’t let me leave to the airport while they checked the minibar!

From the moment we checked in, the team went above and beyond to ensure we had the best experience.

She helped us extend our stay at an excellent rate and made the entire process smooth and stress-free.

But the check in process wasnt smooth at all. We waited for one hour to get checked in.

We then try to check in and the guy at the desk was quite difficult to understand.

Or it is your favourite work checking in to the under category and asking for additional money!!!

And gave the hotel a deposit for additional charges in the amount requested when we checked in.

This hotel charged my card incorrectly a week after I checked out with zero balance owing!

And finally they called me after check out to ask me if I checked out

I am still waiting for a refund of my deposit after we checked out.

We checked out of the Atlantis Royal and booked half board fir 2 nights.

I mean are they not supposed to be helping and answering queries??

In my experience, hotels request payment for additional charges on check out

Again every question asked was just being batted away or ignored.

Avoid if they are going to owe you money after checkout.

For the record “I didn’t cancel, they did!”

On the third day, our breakfast order never arrived after 45 minutes of waiting. The staff admitted they forgot to place the order and the kitchen had already closed. We were offered food with no bread options except olive bread, which we don’t eat.

Akshay, Rajesh, Raj and Flower from Cielo at breakfast in the morning; despite the morning rush we were always greeted with a smile and their service was phenomenal.

On the day of our departure, they even provided us with a full breakfast packed into to-go boxes so we wouldn’t miss out before catching our flight.

The weaker side is the breakfast and poor organization, the staff does not remember the orders.

The breakfast experience was disappointing; the food wasn't fresh and tasted bad.

Breakfast was in the same restaurant near the beach.

And breakfast is very good.

However, the day before arrival I managed to get them to arrange Airport transfer for me and my husband, as we were arriving separately.

If you are traveling off site, especially for an evening appointment or reservation you should allow yourself plenty of extra time.

We lost some bag in a taxi that we didn't order so we can't find the specific taxi

Why would they arrange transfer for us if my booking was cancelled?

Never have I experienced this, let alone in a ‘luxe’ hotel!

About the service that the hotel suggested it was perfect!

On arrival, I left my phone in the taxi.

I was actually going using the gym before getting my lunch by the pool
