Hotel was modern, clean and staff was really top tier and I really mean some of the best in Dubai, special shout out to Imran.

Next time in back in Dubai I will definitely be staying here again, the special honeymoon surprise was just another special thing.

Amazing property, excellent customer service, staff was great, amazing view from the pool, everything was beyond expectations, would definitely recommend it!!

This was the second time I’d stayed at the Bonnington, with my first visit around 8 years earlier.

We got the best stay for what we paid and we’d do it all over again.

I was really surprised that this dated, tired hotel was being advertised as 5* hotel.

I would recommend this hotel to anyone from first time goer or seasonal travellers.

Just a very friendly, comfortable hotel to stay in for a few nights.

I’ve stayed at this property several times on my previous Dubai visits.

My overall stay at Bonningtons has been nothing but amazing.

The price doesn’t really reflect the quality of the experience.

I booked through Expedia and have sent 2 message before I arrive and 1 message after I left as I have lost something in the room , but no reply at all , I don’t know it is the hotel or Expedia , who’s fault .

There was always staff to meet you or to answer your enquiries at the front office no matter the time of day or night.

The next day I talked to the manager and he apologized for this situation and he gave my an upgrade to a suite.

Every morning at breakfast, Jessie always greeted us with friendly smile, professional service, and she always made sure we enjoy our breakfast.

Housekeeping staff Taqeer, Niasud and Sadehu always made sure our room is clean and we have everything we needed.

The staff is SO friendly and they actually remembered me whenever I came back to the hotel.

The staff has been very helpful starting from Steve at the check in who upgraded our room.

The overall experience lacks especially the abilities of the staff to perform simple tasks.

Even with complications with our returning flight where more than understanding and accommodating.

The managers, hotel security, housekeeping all treated us with the upmost respect.

We also had to literally beg for shower caps every 2nd day.

She offered us the best service no other restaurants can compare.

Several issues, lights not working, towels not replenished, staff not helpful.

Staff and Services were friendly and helpful during check in.

Staff was so kind and made us feel very welcomed.

The service seems to have deteriorated from the previous experiences.

The service and quality makes up for it.

Still the stuff need to be more helpful.

Excellent hotel to stay in a great location, the Marina Mall, it was within walking distance, if I'm not mistaken it is 1.6 miles from the hotel.

The commute to every event and attraction site was pretty short and sweet too so the hotel is like in the perfect spot.

I think next time we’ll get a hotel closer to the Burj Khalifa, as we didn’t care much for the beach or Atlantis.

The hotel is in a great location, walking distance to the Marina and has some great dining options within close proximity.

It is about a 5-10 minute walk to the local train so easy access to places you would want to visit.

I chose this location because of its proximity to Dubai Marina, but getting to the promenade nearly impossible on foot.

Comfortable hotel in a good location (JLT) with a McGettigans bar attached to the hotel and a Spinneys supermarket outside.

I was 3 floors above the Irish bar which I thought may be a problem, but it was fine.

Great location close by to metro, and little shops and cafes/restaurants if you want a quick bite.

Also good facilities close by including mcGettigans Irish bar next door with live music & good food.

Ideal location with a 5 min walk to the metro & 15 ins to the marina.

This Hotel is located near a very small artificial lake and many restaurants are around there.

Location is not convenient to the airport, the uber ride turned out to be expansive.

The lake is also a stone throw away, making it perfect for the daily walk.

The property was perfectly located for the metro, shops and walking distance to the marina.

Trust me once you get in the hotel it's a totally different experience.

The area is nice and relatively quiet, clean, and close to the metro.

There is also KFC, Pizza hut and other restaurants opposite the building.

It's a bit far from the airport but I don't care.

The only thing lacking was the proximity of any real nightlife

My only issue is the arrival area of the hotel.

Also in the quiet side, away from the tourism.

I don’t know why he was given a card to my room and he entered my room while me and my wife were asleep.

The bed and bedding were great and gave me great rest after hours of travel.

The beds are comfy and the rooms ok so it’s an ok place to sleep.

Paid for an upgrade to the suite and it was 100% worth it.

Wifi connectivity was decent compared to other hotels I have previously stayed in.

Fantastic room service with a delicious Mixed grill delivered to our room.

Bathroom was specious and well staffed with toiletries and bathrobes, towels.

Nice clean towels with tea facilities and iron board with iron.

Nice room although lighting controls are a bit difficult to manage.

The rooms were spacious, clean, and the view was beautiful.

The toilet roll was even wet in the rooms.

We were shown 4 other rooms all damp

They give me free uppgrate for my room.

The rooms are very clean with comfortable bed.

One thing I did not like was the breakfast and food cost was very expensive so we did not have it, instead went to costa cafe every morning which was 5 mins away and ate out dinner when out on excursions.

I think if the breakfast was offered as part of the room package or atleast better priced it would be better.

The breakfast is amazing! 06:30-11am which gives time to sleep in if required.

The only disappointed thing was the delivery Breakfast.

The only thing that i noticed is that theTV console furniture had some food stains from the previous guest, it was out of sight from the bed so did not bug me that much.

Otherwise in terms of hotel facilities swimming pool was great and warm - the sauna and steam were out of order when I stayed.

But I the housekeeping might need to pay more attention to details.
