Guests frequently praise Delano Dubai’s beautiful, modern design, peaceful atmosphere, grounds, and suitability for families and couples. Many describe excellent, relaxing stays and say they would return. Recurring drawbacks are high prices that guests feel are not matched by the service or quality, alongside reports of poor treatment, mistrust, noise, and disruptions from a private event.

I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude for the wonderful hospitality and top-notch service I received during my stay at your beautiful hotel. Everything was truly exceptional — from the welcoming atmosphere to the impeccable attention to detail.
Amazing hotel. We arrived for one day to try it out, since we were changing hotels during our trip, and realized we should have come straight here and stayed longer!
We stayed at this hotel from October 5 to 23. This was already our fifth time choosing this particular place for a family vacation.

Whenever we visit Dubai again, we will definitely stay at the Caesars again! Their service and hospitality is just an other level!
Most importantly, the place completely lacks life; it is gloomy and empty, with no soul, making it an unpleasant experience.
I’ve stayed at many 5-star resorts around the world, and Caesars in Dubai was definitely one of the best!

For small children, this is a major source of stress and fear. The same goes for adults.
It was very disappointing that the accommodation was so inflexible and only wanted to collect payment!
We came for one night only for staycation & are planning to come back again.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel and would recommend it to everyone.
We’re coming back to stay with you again because our experience was unforgettable!
We loved it so much we are booking our next stay asap

A visit I will not repeat, and I do not recommend it.
I find this outrageous at the price we paid for our stay.
We have visited many times since opening and this disappointed us

There is nothing that I did not like about this hotel!
An amazing week away in a fantastic 5 star hotel
Style, offerings, and service: everything is at the highest level.

I had a truly exceptional experience at this property.
- especially when it is primarily made for Tourists.
Very disappointing stay – not worth the price

A review of our stay at the hotel
A very good hotel; everything is done perfectly!
The best hotel I’ve ever stayed at.

This hotel is not ready to operate.
I rarely leave hotels I’ve already paid for, but this is one of those times. A group of friends and I booked rooms at Caesar Palace. My room cost $1,600 for two days. My friend was checked into Caesar, but my sister and I were put in Julios Tavel (an affiliated company)—apparently a budget version. Anyway, the crowd was like the people in jokes about Tagil. I have nothing against them, but those guys fly on last-minute package deals, and this was not the level I expected.
The stay was suppose to be celebrating my 50th birthday and we currently live at Banyan Tree Residences across the street for the last 4 years. We wanted a nice night away from the kids and we let the hotel know it was my 50th birthday we would be celbrating which they confirmed. nothing at all in the room for 50th birthday celbration upon our arrival at 5pm.

No matter how many other hotel options we consider, nothing is better than Caesars: its location on Bluewaters Island, with its well-developed infrastructure and places for both adults and children to relax; its private access to the sea and magnificent views of the endless horizon; its highest level of service; its excellent Kids Club; and its clean, safe pools—all deserve the highest marks for quality.
It was a wonderful, magnificent stay with an amazing team. Nadia was exceptional from beginning to end; we didn’t want to leave. Special mention to Elvis too for his kindness, as well as the team at the Tutto Pasta restaurant, and the incredible pool team, and Kirollos, who took such good care of us at the end of our stay.
It is important to note that there are Russian-speaking staff members almost everywhere in the hotel. There is also a messaging service that lets you contact hotel staff with any request, even to book a table at any of the hotel’s venues. Messages in Russian are automatically translated into English, and you receive a reply in no time.

Staff: What guests say
View Delano Dubai at Bluewaters305 relevant reviews
Staff were often described as warm, friendly, attentive, and professional, with individual employees praised for helpful service. Experiences were inconsistent: guests reported slow service at the pool and beach, long waits during busy periods, and occasional poor communication or unhelpful treatment. One guest reported being filmed while changing in a room behind reception, without an apology.

The staff are a “dream team.” Inattentive: I mentioned several times that the showers by the beach and pool weren’t working. Once, I was told, “We don’t use them” (by a guy at reception). Half the beach wasn’t serviced, so I had to get water and towels myself. The staff told me that the umbrellas were small and could be blown away by the wind. The neighboring Banyan Tree has identical umbrellas and no problems with them. It was clear that the staff were lazy and simply preferred all the guests to stay in one place. The concierge accepted a package and sent it to the wrong room; afterward, they couldn’t find it, and the shipping box had been opened. No compensation for the inconvenience. And a few minor things: once, ice was brought to my room even though I hadn’t ordered it—someone else must have ordered it and been waiting for it. A bottle of water was broken right in front of my room. I asked for four bottles; one was broken, and they never brought a replacement. I asked for a plate and cutlery at around 11 p.m.; they took about 30 minutes to arrive. By the end of the stay, I had completely lost faith in the staff and didn’t want to interact with them or spend my deposit at the hotel at all.
Once, as we approached the hotel doors after a walk with our stroller, staff blocked our way in and started opening the car doors for some new guest. My wife, child, and I had to stand there and wait for these “gentlemen” to finish unloading. It was very strange behavior, and the hotel manager silently watched and fawned over the new guest. Apparently, this is considered normal when you’re paying $10,000 for a stay. After I complained and described the two incidents above, they silently brought a backpack and toy to our room. They could have kept them. No apology was offered for blocking the entrance.
The staff’s service was poor. They didn’t have enough information, and check-in took two hours because they were completely inflexible. The only issue we faced was that the number of guests changed, and they couldn’t handle the situation. It took up my time and affected my comfort. I had to turn to another employee, who treated us just as badly. There was no Plan B; it was either follow what they said or there was no other option. It was very frustrating, unfortunately, and they also argued and talked at length to try to convince us they were right.

The presents made my son smile although he was ill - that was so insightful and nice from Mr. Sabin!! They stole our heart with their kindness! Seguja brought my son to his room, when he was feeling ill. He was such a great help in that situation.
I will be just talking about the staff and how wonderful they are starting from the valet staff up to the reception staff (especially peter) following up to the restaurant staff they are literally well experienced and GREAT.
The staff did eventually make an exception and let us go to dinner on the day we checked out. We would have been willing to pay; it was a personal courtesy from them.

Sadly, I arrived at the hotel already feeling sick because I caught a cold before. However, the staff went above and beyond to make my stay as comfortable as possible.
Possibly there are too many beds for the number of servers and therefore it sometimes took a long time to place an order for a drink/ food.
I would also like to thank the waiter Nibras at the breakfast restaurant. He was very kind and pleasant and served the family exceptionally well.

The very pleasant staff are attentive to every need and respond to every request quickly and efficiently. Many thanks to Daniela and Renel.
Very attentive and lovely staff who fulfill every wish. My son was given a large teddy bear and was absolutely delighted.
The staff’s kindness and attention to detail made my stay unforgettable, and I can’t wait to return in better health!

I asked them to decorate the room, and they prepared a cake, balloons, and a gift for me 😍😍
Corina and Nura on reception desk are very helpful and went out of their way to assist us.
Change to the half board, I repeatedly asked for clarification on this but I didn't get it.

They ruined a birthday surprise i was planning for a friend by not communicating with one another.
The concierge staff (especially Renel and Michael) helped us with many things and were super attentive.
The staff are friendly, and any request is taken care of within five minutes via WhatsApp.

A special mention for Jamie the lifestyle consultant that made my son’s birthday absolutely memorable.
He should of say it and address it in very calm and respectful way
The staff are very committed to making your stay better, but are not intrusive.

The dining room staff were kind and paid special attention to the children
Rude staff, they tried to scam us out of money in every way
Staff at reception- they were really helpful and polite doesn't matter what

Staff Dawson and Nathan beach bar a asset to the company
To the Management and Staff of Delano Dubai – Bluewaters
The staff are very responsive and always try to help.

And more importantly friendly attentive staff throughout the hotel
The concierge was always ready to meet every request
All the staff are amazing as always in Dubai

Rooms: What guests say
View Delano Dubai at Bluewaters255 relevant reviews
Guests often describe rooms as stylish, clean, spacious and comfortable, with excellent beds, thoughtful amenities and occasional suite upgrades. However, reports include poor air conditioning, inconsistent housekeeping and bathroom maintenance issues such as flooding or mold; some rooms were small, smelled of smoke, or had unusably dirty terraces. One guest alleged being filmed undressed in a room.

We didn’t like the room in the Palace building. There are so many sharp corners, you can’t leave a child unattended for even a second, there are steps leading to the balcony and wall-mounted cabinets with sharp edges—it’s an extremely strange interior for a family hotel :((( The room itself was also very small, the walk-in closet was awkward, and there was very little space. We kept bumping into the little table and armchair. There were constant problems with the water supply, and I understand this was throughout the hotel. It was the same in the spa, and at the beauty salon, while they were washing my hair, the water was either scalding hot or cold, and it was difficult to adjust. With a child who needs to be washed constantly, this is inconvenient. Perhaps things are better in the Julios building.
After checking into the room, I got the feeling that no one had been expecting me. There was no welcome letter or complimentary desserts; those were brought only in the evening. The room was cleaned—let's just say, not very well. They closed the curtains for the evening, and that was it? In hotels of this caliber, they usually at least leave slippers by the bed. And don't even get me started on how they handled my things: I had my makeup laid out in a bit of a mess, and they usually arrange it neatly on a small towel. At this hotel, everything was left just as it was.
We went to bed early because we were with a young child. At 11 or 12 at night, they start stacking the chairs in the restaurant downstairs. The noise is so loud that it woke our child a couple of times. The same thing happens again at 6 or 7 in the morning. You can hear it clearly even with the balcony doors closed, and with them open it’s unbearable. (A room with a direct sea view in the Julius building.)

There is no minibar, all the pools are waist-deep, and it’s very strange that the room has both a shower and a bathtub, but the toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, and gel) are only in the shower and are attached to the wall, so there’s no way to remove them. So if you want to take a bath, then...
My room was simply wonderful. It was spacious, tastefully furnished, and spotlessly clean down to the smallest detail. The beds were extremely comfortable, and I slept wonderfully every night. The in-room amenities left nothing to be desired—from the flat-screen TV to the well-stocked minibar, everything was there.
The heat, and the air conditioners didn’t cool the rooms enough 🥲. I hope the temperature settings can be adjusted, because Dubai is very hot in summer and we need the rooms to be cooler, especially at bedtime ✌🏻

Air con was set too high, we asked twice to lower it but it wasn’t enough as it was still at 19 degrees which was far to warm so didn’t sleep well most nights
- There are technical problems in the rooms; we had to call a technician three times. Especially in the bathrooms. Sometimes yellow water comes out of the tap 😀
The room with a sea view was very quiet, had lovely terrace furniture, and there was always plenty of fresh water in the room free of charge.

1. The shower! The shower in the room was acting up, switching from hot to cold. They sent a technician, but the situation wasn't fixed.
The lobby and rooms have beautiful interiors, with natural materials: marble floors and natural wood veneer on the walls and furniture.
The pillows in the room were extremely uncomfortable. After a couple of days, my neck made that very clear!

My room was beautifully designed with stunning views of the Dubai skyline, offering a peaceful and luxurious retreat.
A complicated lighting control system in the room; I never managed to turn on just one night-light.
- The soundproofing is average. If someone makes noise outside the door, you’ll hear it.

The rooms are very nice very clean. Rooms with the gardens are great too.
- In my opinion, the mattress was simply excellent—I slept like a baby.
The rooms are clean, and there are family rooms separated by a door.

Honestly there was a hint of a perspiration smell when entering the room
The mattress pad and pillow are covered in plastic and don’t breathe.
The hotel is new and has a smart system in the rooms.

The electronic system using the room keys did not always work.
We stayed in the left-hand building; I don’t know its name.
The air conditioner light in the room is very annoying

The room was poorly maintained. the fittings are getting old.
There is not enough storage space for two people.
Our suite was stunning with breathtaking marina views,

And gave a room that fully satisfy me.
And try another room or another suite soon
Room service and the room in general.

Location: What guests say
View Delano Dubai at Bluewaters235 relevant reviews
Bluewaters Island offers a frequently praised beachside setting, with restaurants, cafés, shops, the promenade, and Ain Dubai within walking distance; guests also value the peaceful atmosphere and views. Some report aircraft noise from nearby skydiving or airport approaches, occasional loud music, and beach drawbacks including rocky, shallow entry, cigarette butts, or temporary closure for renovation.

The area is wonderful. It’s a little island with absolutely everything: a mall, a Ferris wheel, cafés, and shops. The surroundings are perfect for going for walks with a child in a stroller. Traffic is slow and there aren’t many cars. A very nice area. Dubai Marina is across the bridge. By the way, tickets for the Ferris wheel are cheaper through the hotel!
The island itself is quite different from the rest of Dubai. It’s very green, with open water, little waves, and even stormy weather on windy days. It’s a pleasure to walk around with children. The promenade is beautiful, and there’s a square beneath the Ferris wheel with food trucks. The lights are also incredibly beautiful.
Caesars Palace is located on Bluewaters Island. Bluewaters Island itself has the Dubai Eye, The Wharf and The Boardwalk. The Wharf and The Boardwalk contain fantastic shops and restaurants. Bluewaters Island is within walking distance of Jumeirah Beach and the Marina. it’s like a resort within the great resort of Dubai.

This is the best location for everyone that wants to detach and relax since there are only 2 properties on that beach. The sea is super enjoyable to swim and the water is crystal clear, unlike many of the properties on the Palm and other places.
Its location on Bluewaters Island, with its well-developed infrastructure, offers places for both adults and children to relax, as well as direct access to the sea and a beautiful view of the endless horizon.
The location is perfect the bars & restaurants of Bluewaters are literally on your doorstep. The views of Ain Dubai particularly at night were stunning.

Not the best beach - entry into the water through rocks, shallow depth (although the latter is good for guests with children)
There was a strong smell of sewage coming from outside, so we kept the balcony door closed at all times.
A great beach with comfortable sun loungers and towels that fit over the mattress instead of slipping off!

The location is great if you like the beach (which we did and was great).
It’s located at Blue waters island which has the best beach and nice sea.
A little windier than other parts of Dubai Marina due to its exposed location.

The Delano is beautifully situated at the top of Bluewaters in Dubai.
I think we would have a greater breakfast at the nearest cafes.
The sea is nearby, and everything is conveniently located close by.

A very nice hotel to enjoy bluewaters and dubai marina
And the location is a bit out of the way.
The beach is awful; you could break your legs.

Everything you need is also available at the beach
The location and how stunning the views were
The location was perfect with beautiful views

You can hear shoes at 1 am
Beach area, the location is nice.
And beach area, beautiful location

Close to a lovely beach.
The location is very good.
In a magnificent location

We liked the beach,
- Great location.
An excellent beach.

Breakfast: What guests say
View Delano Dubai at Bluewaters168 relevant reviews
Breakfast reviews are sharply divided: many praise delicious food, high quality, and a wide selection, while others describe limited, repetitive or poor-quality options that fall short of five-star expectations. Recurring complaints include slow or disorganized coffee and order service, queues, crowded noisy seating, and limited choices for children or guests who do not want eggs.

Very poor selection of dishes, minimal amount of fruit, everything tasted bad and was of low quality. In any café outside the hotel, you will get much better food and breakfast quality. Fresh orange juice was mixed with packaged juice — this is something you would expect from a 3-star hotel, not a 5-star hotel. Delano — do you not have the budget for proper fresh juice? Only two types of cheese, two types of cold cuts, minimal fruit of very low quality — this is terrible. There are essentially no proper breakfasts at this hotel.
Breakfast was an absolute delight. They have everything you could possibly want, and the pastries are divine. I don’t even know where they’re better—here or at the best bakery in Paris. But there’s a danger: you could come home a few kilos heavier. Maybe it’s a good thing we didn’t stay long. They have absolutely everything, and more. They say you can find black caviar at breakfast, but we didn’t come across any.
- There was a queue for breakfast. - The selection was poor (à la carte). If you don’t like eggs for breakfast, there aren’t many options (pancakes or waffles). - There isn’t a good children’s menu (mostly just fries and similar food). We had to order from the adult menu to our room. - The tables are ridiculously close together, making breakfast very noisy and uncomfortable.

The breakfasts are simply unreal. The best I’ve had on all my travels. They have absolutely everything under the sun: plenty of salmon, avocado, guacamole, passion fruit, strawberries, chia and mango yogurts, Prosecco (though that costs extra), eggs Benedict, shakshuka, about 10 kinds of bread, and about 5 kinds of plant-based milk. Anyone who said the breakfasts were bland and ordinary is out of their mind.
Also, the service at the breakfast area was not good, as we had to repeat our requests several times to get what we wanted. For example, a cup of coffee was requested but never brought. We also asked for the eggs to be cooked more thoroughly, but that was only done after repeating the request.
At breakfast, you can wait 30 minutes for coffee and water. Most importantly, this has nothing to do with the time or how busy it is—that’s just the management. We came at 7 a.m. before checking out, and still had to wait just as long for the coffee, though at least they did bring it.

The breakfast is poor. You either have to go to another building for the buffet—the restaurant itself is small, the selection is limited, and the food isn’t always tasty—or go to Ramsay’s City restaurant (I’m not sure it’s appropriate to serve breakfast in a restaurant like that), where everything is à la carte.
At breakfast, the staff aren’t trained in proper etiquette—they put cutlery on a dirty table. If you tell them, “Please put it on a napkin; the table is dirty,” the waiter may run a finger over the table, show you their finger, and ask, “Would you say this table is dirty?”
- Breakfast is the same day after day. It’s decent, and I’d like more variety, but I’m picky and have plenty to compare it with. Besides, this is a five-star hotel, so it can’t afford to stand still!

A special mention to Kabir, who was incredibly welcoming and accommodating at breakfast every morning - his kindness and attention to detail really stood out and made our mornings a highlight of the stay.
We went to the breakfast buffet at the Julius Tower just once (and never again). It was pure chaos, with lots of screaming children, and the place was far too large and impersonal.
- The breakfast buffet was a bit disappointing for the high class hotel, and there’s not much options, and the food areas and very far from each other in the buffet.

Coffee at breakfast could be served a little faster. The selection is great, though, ranging from Americano to cappuccino, latte macchiato, iced coffee, and much more.
I enjoyed the generous breakfast buffet every morning, with something for every taste. The quality of the food was excellent
The breakfasts are very meager; coffee at breakfast takes 15–20 minutes to arrive, and so does water.

The breakfasts were exceptionally delicious—nothing unnecessary), but everything on offer was of the highest quality!
The breakfast was delicious! There is a huge selection of all kinds of dishes.
In Juilliard Tower if you miss the 11 am breakfast end time

Breakfast service, despite it being very busy. Variety of breakfast food
The breakfast is international and varied, with something different every day.
It’s more convenient to go downstairs and enjoy a delicious meal!

I think there is room for improvement with the breakfast.
Breakfast was incredible. So many items on the buffet lineup
Breakfast was also very good, as was the dinner buffet.

Beware of mosquitoes if you’re having breakfast outside.
Very Buffet breakfast in the Julius Part.
2) The breakfasts really weren't tasty,

We had a delicious breakfast everyday.
The breakfast was quite varied.
To the breakfast at Bacchanal

Facilities: What guests say
View Delano Dubai at Bluewaters151 relevant reviews
Guests often praise the hotel’s modern, distinctive design, beautiful interiors, cleanliness, and high-quality facilities, including the kids’ club. Recurring drawbacks include dark elevators and corridors, with one report of elevator controls freezing; some facilities shown in photos were unavailable. Other concerns include limited beach seating, early-closing bars and kids’ club, and poor-value service details such as a dusty paper cup.

And there is also a messenger app that lets you contact the hotel staff with any request, right down to booking a table at any of the hotel’s venues. Messages in Russian are automatically translated into English, and you receive a reply in no time.
So by the time you’ve just gone out to dinner, the club is already closing. This is very inconvenient and was completely unexpected for us, as we expected the children to be able to play there, but the hotel sees things differently.
Even the design of the curtains in the corridors leading to the rooms was not beautiful and did not indicate luxury. It was as if you were going to a massage room and the view was gloomy.

We also couldn’t find a pleasant spot in the common areas to work on a computer in the evening—somewhere we could have tea and settle in comfortably in a quiet place.
Water sports are available through a partner based at the beach, with a variety of options ranging from relaxing activities to more energetic pursuits, including both motorised and non-motorised choices.
The activity areas shown in the hotel photos do not actually belong to the hotel and cannot be used (yoga reformers, a beach fitness area, and a small court).

The changing rooms and showers on the pool area were so far away from the lobby, you had to get into a buggy for a 10 min ride.
There are no designated smoking areas; people smoke everywhere, which is very stressful for those who can't tolerate tobacco. Please create separate areas for smokers and non-smokers.
When we asked for additional beach bag room service said that they provide only one per room, additional is 150 AED (all other luxury hotels provide).

In the seaside seating area, the number of chairs was very limited, and there was an empty section that was closed for no clear reason.
The hotel also has no proper full-length mirrors—all the mirrors have some kind of dark bronze tint, both in the rooms and around the hotel.
Groups of tour company managers walk around the hotel with tour groups. This is also rather strange and unpleasant to see in a high-end hotel.

Out of glasses? No problem. At this five-star hotel, they’ll offer you a paper cup that’s been gathering dust somewhere off to the side.
Somehow strange funding & crediting polcy, like hotel cannot credit you, in case if you reached deposit limit, first time honestly see this.
Getting around the hotel is confusing; you can get lost and it’s unclear where to go, even though the hotel isn’t small.

4)hundreds of people use elevator- please put hand sanitizer somewhere close to because the buttons are horribly dirty.
It would be nice to have a bar on the beach open in the evenings.
The facilities , design of the place and how cosy is the place

The facilities are limited and small compared with those at similar hotels.
The hotel's design and decor prioritized an impressive appearance over comfort.
The kids’ club closes at 7:30 p.m., and that’s it!!!!

And the design is modern, clean, and sophisticated.
Overall, a beautiful and exceptionally well-maintained hotel complex,
Pleasant music was playing around the grounds.

Bad quality of interior design, shabby
The elevators were very dark.
Interior design is super nice

And the beach is safe.
Excellence you can experience firsthand.
The facilities are very comfortable

Pool: What guests say
View Delano Dubai at Bluewaters143 relevant reviews
Guests often praise the pools as beautiful, clean, well equipped, and served by comfortable loungers, towels, and attentive staff. However, some report crowded areas, children’s noise, and sunbeds filling early or being reserved unused; there is no free adults-only pool. A few reviews mention cloudy or cold water, and pool or beach closures and access restrictions.

There was a beach club at the hotel to but the use of this wasn't explained to us at all. We attended and were given wrist bands and not told until they put them on that we had a minimums spend. We then went down to the pool and were told we could not sit there, only at the beach (something the club reception had not explained again either). It didn't seem to make sense to sit on the beach with a minimum spend we we could sit on the hotel lounger right next to it for free. Not sure why the communication was so weak at this point.
Would you like a spot in the sun by the pool, but everything is fully booked? You can still get a cabana... But there’s a catch—and yes, you’re really locked in! You have to spend a hefty €300 per day or half-day during those few hours in your cabana. After about 30 cappuccinos, you’ll have spent enough, or of course you could also wolf down four grilled lobsters on the beach!
The beach is very good. There’s a paid one and one belonging to the hotel. The hotel beach is well maintained and beautiful, with towels and SPF 30 and 50 sunscreen by Byredo available there. It’s sandy and clean, with no litter, but the sea gets quite rough. It’s fun for adults, but with children you should keep a very close eye on them.

They’ve made the most of the pool area: excellent, comfortable sun loungers, and the staff will lay out towels for you. But be prepared for there to be no free spots by around 10. The pool itself is small, but at least it’s 150 cm deep in the middle, which is good. And of course, it’s cooled, which is very much appreciated!)
The pool is terrible — either there is no filtration system or it does not work. The water is cloudy, with a film on top, and dirt collects in the corners. It is actually scary to go into this pool — you feel like you might catch something.
So first thing to mention is that Venus Pool (adults only) was closed for renovation. We had to use other 2 pools (with kids). The water in the pool was cold. We were told it's 28 degrees but definitely it's not more than 25.

The beach faces the open sea, which is great—there are waves, so it feels authentic. The sand is clean, and the sun loungers are pretty much what you’d expect anywhere—perfectly decent. Food and drinks can be ordered from the menu.
- The shower for rinsing off sand and salt between the sea and the pool will definitely leave an impression! It’s always scorching hot, and no matter how much you fiddle with the loose taps, it makes no difference!
On Saturday and Sunday there weren’t enough sun loungers on the beach, even if you got in line in the morning—like it used to be in Turkey a long time ago. I don’t know what it’s like there now.

At the pool, I asked for chicken broth soup, even though it wasn’t on the menu, and they made it for me right away. It was so kind of them, and I really appreciated it.
The many pools are so relaxing and spacious, with a beach right behind the pool, plenty of cabanas, with waiters serving with fresh towels, free iced water buckets and cocktails delivered to you pool side.
2) pool parties or music at the restaurant on Weekends day time - it was so loud that you cant chill in the room, earplugs or AirPods wont help- so yes, its THAT loud.

We was also told we could use all the swimming pools for free which wasn’t true and some pools belonged to other hotels which required a fee to use.
The pool is cooled, so you almost cant feel the summer heat and an added bonus they pass around popsicles to cool off.
The Venus pool is just serene and beautiful. Many thanks to Antonio for making my day at the pool effortless!

Pool Snacks for 100 - 300 Euros / Dollars, not nice. You need lower priced stuff too.
And the other pool was full all the time no even any place to sit
Cool pool and beach facilities that fully live up to the Delano name.

And the pool was so convenient with a toddler and a baby.
Maison Revka pool had stopped allowing guests form Delano suites in
Louder music during the day until 8 p.m.—but easy to avoid.

But the pool area was so nice it didn't matter.
Super nice views into the pool and beach area.
We were able to choose from different pool areas.

- Adults-only areas at the pool (several pools)
And beach closed for 2 days
The resort has lots of swimming

From the pool and garden area
They take cleanliness very seriously.
And the pools were nice,

Restaurant: What guests say
View Delano Dubai at Bluewaters143 relevant reviews
Guests often praise the food’s quality and range, with several restaurants across the hotel and neighboring Banyan Tree; Gohan, the Italian restaurant, Blue Door, and Hell’s Kitchen receive particular praise. Downsides include high prices, a restricted half-board menu, occasional long waits and billing errors, and limited lunch options.

We paid for half board. As it happened, when we checked in, they were supposed to send us information about breakfast, lunch, and so on, but they didn’t, so we had to find everything out ourselves. During dinner, we went to reception to ask where we should go and where we could eat, and they told us everything was closed. We had to go to Hill’s Kitchen, where there was a 175-dirham deposit per dish. The restaurant was average, by the way; I didn’t understand what all the fuss was about, though perhaps we Muscovites are spoiled by high-quality food, and others may like it. Anyway, we later found out that we could have gone to the buffet—we were just too late, and we had specifically wanted to try it.
They charge for everything. We were there with our 3-year-old child (allergic to lactose and gluten). We always bring our own grains and pasta on all our trips. This was the first time we had encountered a situation where restaurants refused to cook with the grains we had brought. We had to argue with them. In the end, we ordered room service almost every time; Caesar charged us even for cooking with our pasta. Everything for the child costs extra. Making a small piece of meat cost 170 dirhams. Buckwheat for the child cost 60 dirhams. Although the girl at reception initially said that food for the child was free.
Dinner was also a delight. The fish was of incredible quality, and they had every kind of vegetable you could want. There’s simply everything you can think of. The desserts were incredible too; we tried every one, and they were all exceptionally delicious—not just cloyingly sweet, but genuinely tasty and with a special twist. Bravo to everyone involved! Finding high-quality food in Dubai that wasn’t just empty calories had been difficult for us; here, we finally experienced truly high-quality, satisfying food.

The restaurants are expensive. The Japanese restaurant is absolutely not worth the money. It’s on the level of an average Japanese restaurant, but they added some LV branding and jacked up the prices. For example, a plate of 12 pieces of sushi costs 880 dirhams. One plus: the sea urchin sushi is tasty! Hell’s Kitchen and Demon Duck are decent; we liked them.
Every weekend, corporate events and birthday parties for city residents are held on the grounds of the main restaurant. They are accompanied by music, contests, and commentary from an MC. Sometimes some of the guests move to the pool. I feel this is uncomfortable for vacationers who pay a fairly high price for their stay and end up witnessing this unnecessary spectacle.
The property charged me an additional 6,000 dirhams for some kind of New Year’s fee that was not shown in the Booking.com payments. It was for an evening dinner that we weren’t even attending. We told them we wouldn’t be there because we had dinner somewhere else, but they refused to refund the money.

The next day, when we were checking out, we went back to ask how this had happened and why, after paying for half board, we had ended up with dinner that required a deposit. We could just as well have booked breakfast only and gone to dinner on our own.
The restaurants are delicious, but expensive! By the way, children eat for free at Venus, which was lovely—especially with our picky eaters. They prepared the food just the way the children liked it, adding everything they wanted and leaving out what they didn’t. The children were happy and full.
Everything was way overpriced, 20 Dollars / Euros for a Beer only if you have a Superstar giving a free show/concert that would be ok for me, 30 - 40 Dollars / Euros for a Cocktail doesn't work for most People, even rich and wealthy People.

The half board is quite mediocre compared with other hotels in this price range. You can’t choose dishes from the restaurant menus; instead, they bring you a separate little booklet with a basic selection. In the end, I preferred to choose from the full menu.
The children’s menu is free for kids, but the waiters always add the children’s food to the bill. We have to point it out to them, and they remove it—every single time!!! Can’t they just automatically leave the children’s food off the bill?!
In addition, there are several restaurants on the hotel grounds that also serve excellent food. For lunch, we chose Venus, an Italian restaurant with a separate children’s menu. The children enjoyed their food, and the adult menu was a particular favorite.

And the restaurant staff was always attentive and accommodating. Dinner at the hotel restaurant was also a treat. The wide selection of dishes exceeded my expectations, and the flavors were simply fantastic.
We reserved a dinner at the hotel’s Turkish restaurant, but upon arrival, the menu was not provided until we asked for it multiple times.
2. The cocktails were completely tasteless. The Aperol was just mineral water, and the Negroni didn't taste like a Negroni at all.

But I preferred the other restaurant which was a buffet it was more assorted and had more options.
A special thanks to Kabeer, supervisor of the Italian restaurant, for his outstanding service and kindness.
The Indian restaurant is fantastic, especially the chicken tandoori, and the falafel is very good.

Beware that some restaurants/service providers are contractors and not related to the hotel
The buffet includes caviar, sushi, grilled chicken, and an ice cream station.
I think they make the best focaccia I have EVER eaten.

Although the à la carte restaurant menu was quite good.
To the service in the restaurant, everything is perfect!
HELLS KITCHEN was definitely the highlight of my trip.

Like any hotel, room service was super expensive.
And the opportunity to enjoy different restaurants
We did not have one bad meal

And the quality of the food
There are several good restaurants.
And so was the food.

Check-in / Check-out: What guests say
View Delano Dubai at Bluewaters69 relevant reviews
Check-in experiences were mixed: some guests praised smooth or early arrivals, while others reported long waits, late room readiness, forgotten guests, and delayed luggage. Deposits and checkout also caused friction, including sizeable card holds, slow checkout, disputed minibar charges, and limited late-checkout flexibility; some guests were accommodated with early check-in or late checkout.

It was my birthday and I mentioned multiple times in booking and checking time and WhatsApp conversation too but nobody give attention I was honestly disappointed, check in was not 5* I had feeling it was hostel, checkin experience was so bad they make me wait so long we was standing 20-30 minutes and waiting reception just forgot me and my family and we was super tired but nobody care , I back to reception and reminded myself that still waiting my room, I mentioned I will be early check in thanks god was 3 pm but nothing was ready
Reception check in was horrendous. check in was not busy and 2 desk were open and around 4 employees behind the desk that were not helping guest or anyone, but nobody could check us in. they said they only had 1 person that could check us in. they told us to sit and wait and then forgot about us for 10 minutes while they all did nothing. my wife went up to find out why we arent being checked in and then someone heard my wife voicing her displeasure and came out of the back to check us in.
They also insisted quite strongly that we stay in the Julius building, saying it was better and so on. We wanted to stay in the central building, but they strongly recommended that we go there. The woman also said there was a Russian community there. I don’t know what that was about, but only later did I wonder whether they might house Russian guests separately. We also eventually learned from other guests that the Caesar building is the main one and is considered the best, even though the reception staff had told us otherwise.

In the end, it turned out to be what I described above: no one had told us. We were disappointed. The staff did eventually make an exception and let us go to dinner on the day we checked out. We would have been willing to pay; it was a personal courtesy from them. Still, at one point we felt left to fend for ourselves. It was our first time at the hotel, and we couldn’t be expected to know where the restaurants were or what time they closed.
We booked a suite several months in advance at a good rate. When we arrived in the morning, it turned out that the booking had been canceled the day before check-in, either by Booking.com or by the accommodation service. A couple of hours spent waiting in limbo spoiled our first impression a little, but the hotel handled the situation by offering us a larger suite. So I consider the incident resolved and count this as a plus.
Two days before checkout, I went to reception and asked to extend my stay by another two nights. The receptionist refused, saying there were no rooms available. However, there were rooms available: while standing right there, I booked exactly the same room on Booking.com. Thanks—I didn’t even have to move to another room, but the staff’s behavior was unpleasantly surprising. They explained that it was an error in their booking system.

Because of the situation in the Middle East our flight was cancelled, so we asked if we could keep the room until 22:00 in the evening just to shower before leaving. The hotel said we could keep it for a “special price” of €700, which was basically the same price as the nightly rate. Honestly, that felt quite unreasonable and not very considerate given the situation.
Upon check out the next morning they told me I couldn't leave until they checked the mini bar which I have never been told in my life. they then said we owed 35 dirhams for the mini bar that we did not touch. they waived the fee but the reception is an absolute joke and so poorly run.
I had the official government ID app and he could’ve just said he’ll check in my husband in until I go back and get my physical card but he refused to offer any of the options. And at the end we just checked in and they didn’t ask for anything, all this trouble for nothing.

I explain why: it was agreed that we pay an additional amount for late checkout and have been asked to approach the reception. When we came to reception, we were told that late checkout for us is complimentary and we don't have to pay. The next day, we've been texted to come again and pay.
What I didn’t like about the place is that they gave me the rooms very late. I had booked a family room, and the first room was given to me at 3:30 pm even though the check-in time was supposed to be 3. The second room wasn’t ready until 5 pm.
I was due to check in at 3 p.m. They offered me two rooms: the first, booked through Booking.com, had a sea view (the only view of the sea was through palm trees blocking it), and the second had a better view but was a room for guests with disabilities.

Biggest disadvantage to me and strangest practice for 5 star rated hotel - you are being charged in advance for all expenses during the stay, called deposit. Once you exceed your paid deposit, hotel immediately runs after you to top it up, etc.
At check-in, they take a sizeable deposit from your card—$1,000. Perhaps if you tell them you have a credit card rather than a debit card, they won’t take the deposit. We didn’t get the deposit back until two weeks after we checked out.
Also, we asked for the 1-hour earlier check in because of the baby, I then called one day prior to our arrival, they promised me not to worry but ofcourse we had to wait until they would clean the room.

We thought the check in process could have been mores special. With hotels at this calibre I often receive a drink upon arrival and sometimes to a cold towel but we did not recieve anything like this.
Finally, when I shortened my stay and checked out early, I was charged for an extra night after waiting 45 minutes to check out. I was told the charge was in accordance with the terms and conditions.
When we extended our stay, we were charged $200 more than we expected because the staff hadn’t told us that the hotel’s exchange rate was 3.27, while the official rate was 3.67.

When I asked to extend my stay, they told me there was no room and forced me to accept a suite at three times the price or leave.
Check-in is at 3 p.m. I arrived at noon, but they wouldn’t let me in, so I waited by the pool until 3 and then checked in.
Was lead to believe it was a room with free flowing beverages from 5pm to 7pm at Venus Bar & had this confirmed on check in.

The reception staff aren’t very friendly, and at breakfast they forget your order, so you have to repeat it several times.
When I checked in I wasn’t told that the deposit of £700 for my stay was optional.
They were a bit late to send someone to take our luggage for checkout.

And they told me that they booked me in another hotel !!
Asked for late check up due late flight and they offered .
They did not extend our checkout time until 2:00 p.m.

Check-in went smoothly, and I felt welcome right away.
And they increased our rate without notifying us.
The information provided at check-in was insufficient,

Transport: What guests say

Taxis were generally easy to find at the entrance and affordable, though some guests reported long waits or cars in the wrong class; one noted reckless driving. There are no free shuttles to major attractions, and moving between buildings may require a golf cart. Frequent low-flying aircraft over the recreation area were also mentioned.

The nice thing is that there’s always a taxi at the entrance, and if there isn’t one, they’ll get you one.
- problems calling a taxi (it takes a long time, and the cars that arrive are not the right class)
Only one thing if I am being picky - one of the buggy drivers didn’t know where Venus restaurant was

Traveling from Julius to Caeser palace wasn't comfortable as the only way to do it is via a golf cart
A hotel-owned car service would be great. Some of the official taxi drivers drive in a very reckless manner.
With refrigerated cooling and drinks and food brought to you in the lobby whilst you wait after checkout.

And you were all great getting the G wagon and Ferarri ready for us
My flight was delayed but I was in constant communication with the hotel.
Too much air traffic from the nearby sports airport.

Planes fly over the recreation area all day.
So we took a taxi up and back
We arrived from the airport at 12:00,

No free shuttles to major city attractions
Transportation services between the buildings are available.
And transfer to the next hotel

Instructions and directions were very clear.
The free taxi was well appreciated!
But taxis are quite affordable.

The taxis were always available.
Easy to get taxis

Spa: What guests say
View Delano Dubai at Bluewaters14 relevant reviews
The spa is not on-site; guests are taken by buggy to the neighboring Banyan Tree. Reviews describe it as excellent, with standout massages and professional service, but access is paid and one guest reported 300 dirhams for an hour of sauna access alone. Others mention a small facility and a massage-package booking mix-up.

There is a spa, but it’s at the neighboring Banyan Tree hotel. It is paid and not cheap: 300 dirhams for an hour. And that’s not for a massage, just for access to the sauna. I didn’t try it.
Even though i confirmed at the spa reception, the guy lied to me and said it was the package i asked for, so did the masseuse by the way. it wasn’t and i realized that halfway through the massage.
Second I booked a spa package, which also because of miscommunication they did not book, and gave me the wrong massage.

And the Spa is an absolute must. It’s the perfect escape for relaxation and self-care, with top-notch service and ambiance.
A very good spa (at the neighboring hotel, by the way; they take you there by buggy).
I tried Qua spa, and fortunately it was almost my favorite massage I have ever had!

Give free Access to a Spa. Do you have one, couln't find it!?
And that the spa was not on site
Ashok from Wellness SPA is very professional.

Spa at Banyan Tree was excellent.
Beautiful SPA & relaxation area.
Spa in another hotel

Small spa facility
No sauna,
Great spa!

Tip: please also offer group (mat) pilates or yoga in the studio as a service for hotel guests. Now only (crazy) expensive classes, that are charged extra. Reformer pilates for 500 AED, 50 mins only and not even private (just a group lesson) is out of this world.
The gym is excellent. Not just a couple of machines, but around 20 different, high-quality Technogym machines. There are also exercise balls, dumbbells, and fitness mats. Water is provided free of charge.
The beach area and fitness room are very good.

The opening hours of the fitness facilities
Gym was quite good also.
The gym was excellent

The gym is incredible
And the gym
Very well-equipped gym,

Gym wasn't great
Gym was good
Amazing gym

Fantastic gym

And finally, the worst part — we arrived with our own car and handed it over to valet parking clean and spotless. They returned it to us in terrible dirty condition, explaining that it had rained and they do not have covered parking.
We were charged with the parking card even though the error came from the parking valet and not from us.
Valet parking was great and no cost for it either.

One valet parking attendant, Gurudeep,
Valet and parking 10/10
(free valet and parking)

There is no self-parking.
