W Dubai – The Palm Reviews: Everything Guests Say

Hotel is trendy, and busy at weekends (esp Friday but all of Dubai is as expats party in the hotels), but we just went out for the day.

My favorite hotel in Dubai I think I spent last 4 years +50 nights it's the place where to relax and use the private pools and beach

My husband and I chose to celebrate our honeymoon in Dubai and decided to stay at this hotel — and it was the best decision.

This issue is NOT RESOLVED w/the W trying to dismiss the actions even after review of camera trying to pass the blame !!!

If you want to stay in a hotel that feels like a club in Ibiza, then this is a perfect place for you.

Also when you ask something, you have to ask few people because you can't get the right answer from one person.

My ancillary time for this issue is now into the hrs and they feel a small compensation of incidentals will suffice.

Unfortunately we found overall it was a little flat with almost no atmosphere at all for such an amazing looking hotel.

If you're in search of a stylish and welcoming hotel with an exceptional staff, this is the place for you.

While it's true that you can find more luxurious and extravagant hotels, this one provides outstanding value for the experience.

We’ll be returning to the W again and I would recommend anyone wanting a more adult friendly palm experience.

We had an incredible experience during our stay in Dubai, and this hotel truly struck the perfect balance.

Stayed at Jw Marriott the week before and finish my trip 3 days at the W palm.

It was the perfect girls trip with a great combination of party vibes but also luxury rest.

Lovely staff team throughout and plenty of taxis available to take you off to see the sights.

Dubai has so many choices when looking for a hotel, but I’d recommend the W for families.

We were extremely disappointed and I would not recommend to travellers to go Hotel W Dubai.

Oh my we have enjoyed a fantastic 5 nights at W Dubai - The Palm.

If you want to experience luxury, hospitality and incredible customer service use another hotel.

Was clean and breakfast was out of this world , service great

But we still recommend this hotel, for its beauty and their hospitality.

The hotel in and out were clean and well kept.

Everything is literally at the touch of a button.

On the other hand the hotel sent me a review request, so I shared some points and comments in good faith, but the reply from the (Director of Quality Assurance) was inappropriate and offensive, and I also felt somewhat insulted.

I will not book again because of his unsuitable response it was only a review not Complaint i think he should not sent me an e-mail to respond to a review!!

However upper management stepped in and satisfied the needs, but certain staff members beneath them (lobby) need to be removed from hospitality completely or receive better training.

Saying you probably got it from eating out of the hotel, but this was not the case as we didn’t leave the hotel for 2 days prior.

A very special thank you to Aldilla, Prasad, Pratik, Rima, Nishant Dhawan, and Nishant 2 — you all made our stay so enjoyable and memorable.

All the staff provided exceptional service, especially Moses (door ambassador) he had great customer service and a friendly smiling face whenever he saw us!

The hotel only caused more problems now ever the front desk tried to help w/overall extremely poor attempt to correct or compensate.

They surprised me the day of my birthday day by setting balloons and cake a chocolate and a nice note celebrating me.

Everyone was willing to go above and beyond at all times for everything without being asked, made the stay super special.

He was so pleasant and always wanted to see how he could help - literally whenever/whenever, true to W Values!

From the cleaning staff to the reception and everyone was just extremely nice and made us feel very welcome.

The staff is incredibly welcoming, always smiling, and genuinely dedicated to ensuring guests have a delightful and joyful experience.

They said it’s fine (no one has booked the room to date) and available to finalise in the morning.

No one can do enough for you and we were totally spoiled in our cabana at the poolside.

He actually pushed me to pay the rate almost as if he was in on the scam !!!!

We would like to thank all the staff at the hotel for being so kind, helpful and attentive.

Upper management are great but certain staff members could use better attitude towards residents and customers.

And finally my favorite employee was in the Valet who assisted us many times… Frankline.

Love the staff first especially who works outdoors in the heat they are tru heroes

The staff were great with the children which made the holiday so much more enjoyable.

The room was a good size for two adults, the bed was so comfortable and the shower was probably one of the best I’ve experienced!

From the get go the room at a nearly $1K US a night had so many many things not working properly it was awful.

The room was nice and spacious, clean & the balcony area overlooked the pool area and the beach which was an amazing view.

The rooms are roomy and comfortable, while the balcony provides the perfect spot for enjoying coffee in the morning and evening.

We stayed in the spectacular room with the view of the pool and the Atlantis hotel in the distance.

The air conditioning did not get it cool enough and the smell of the room was awful.

I desperately needed washing and it was back hanging in my wardrobe within a few hours.

There was nothing that irritated me about the room, everything I needed was there.

We were hugely grateful for our room with the terrace that overlooked the pool.

We stayed for 6 nights and found the rooms to be very spacious.

I would recommend booking rooms over looking the city and pool area views.

Room was super spacious and we loved spending time at the balcony.

And very good sized room and balcony with good air conditioning.

Otherwise, great hotel, quiet and clean which was my main concern.

We had to relocate to another smaller room the following day.

Rooms are also too dark even with the lights on.

Booked a marvelous suite room and confirmed a 2pm arrival.

Besides that the suite ( and temporary room) were nice.

Every thing was great, room,food,cleanliness,it’s was great stay.

The rooms were something else! Everything you need.

It was a challenge to find correct lighting.

We should have moved the next day !!!

Rooms are outdated.

For the price of the hotel maybe some cushions on the metal sun loungers by the pool could be added just for an extra bit of comfort.

If the used towels could be removed off the beds/loungers no longer in use more efficiently that would also help.

The pools are amazing and the people working outdoors in the heat are helpful to let u enjoy the pool

I understand it can get quite busy so there can be delays with free beds/loungers and beverages.

The pool area is thoughtfully separated into family and adult sections, adding to the overall appeal.

Drinks at a pool/wet deck were also diluted and weak.

Everything was excellent regarding the hotel its just in a secluded area, you have to take a taxi or have a car to get to restaurants or the boardwalk area.

The location is excellent, but it's important to note that the hotel is situated a bit away from downtown and major activities, requiring a short drive or taxi ride.

The hotel boasts a pleasant location that offers a tranquil atmosphere, complemented by stunning views of the sea and the Palm Jumeirah area.

Unfortunately the beach was completely out of order for the duration of our stay which we were not advised in advance.

The works are meant to complete in 5 days so hopefully this won’t affect future travellers but definitely check ahead!

Not exactly a beach holiday with heaving machinery and diggers driving up and down directly next to the pool.

Great place if you are looking for a quiet relaxing place, very quiet comparing other places we stayed.

The W Palm was an amazing hotel situated on the West Coast of the Palm Jumeriah.

This place is so amazing that you actually don’t have to leave the premises.

The hotel in the weekend is a club rather than a 5* hotel.

The hotel beach and swimming pool areas were populated by huge number of external guests and that really spoiled the hotel environment and the service one would expect from a 5* hotel.

Was kid friendly but also felt hip for young parents.

Laundry service is the best in Dubai

Buffet breakfast or Bar Al a cart.

However, the pool and beach was amazing.

The breakfast was the bomb, thanks to everyone who served us and the chefs behind the scenes who made our breakfast extra special.

The breakfast staff were incredibly welcoming every morning and the food was of a very high standard with lots of choice.

From breakfast to dining to clubbing and everything in between, you can do all at this place.

The breakfast was a highlight, so be sure not to miss that delightful part of your stay.

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner buffet are not included and stay around $120 a day for a 3

Bar breakfast was excellent, but wish there was a restaurant with outside seating for breakfast.

I have never experienced such a delicious buffet - they cater for everything.

Akira the Japanese restaurant was so nice to us and accommodated our two little kids while allow us parents to have a fine dining experience.

W Dubai - The Palm offers private beach access, several sparkling pools, plenty of live entertainment and several top restuarants.

Views, dining, restuarants and hospitality was as expected from a luxurious resort set on The Palm.

We had the chance to dine in four of the restaurants - all incredible.

The restaurants are about double the price they feel they should be.

Arrived at check in at 2:15 they told us the previous guest checked out at noon and they needed 30 minutes to finish cleaning and gave us the keys to a regular room until ours was finished.

My only disappointment that after 8 nights stay couldn't get late check out till 3 I think I deserve to have it unfortunately there is no perfect stay

An hour later, no call, so we call down to reception who tell us they will check and call back but should be less than 30 minutes.

She comes upstairs 10 minutes later with our suite keys and we rush upstairs to shower and change frantically to get ready for our show.

Complete waste of paying for a suite since the 4 hour's of the day we wanted to spend enjoying it we couldn't.

Just tell us from the beginning it wont be ready for 4 hours not itll be 30 minutes over and over.

Expected a seamless check in since they emailed us multiple times requesting our flight information and arrival times.

But checkin process was very stressful and I’d expect significantly better from a 5 star hotel.

Apart from the confusion over our booking which took a few hours to sort out

A cab returned us to the hotel and requested 4 times the amount it had cost to get to the event.

There is no metro transport, so every time we were forced to take a taxi to get from the hotel.

Need a better system and have more taxis on hand for guest especially because it’s a five star hotel.

In total took 1hour 40mins to receive luggage because they had to find it.

Had a lot of trouble with transport from hotel to Dubai attractions.

Taxis and transport are always available.

Taxi/Uber service was easily accessible.

SCAM/FRAUD
