Reviews most often praise the beautiful, clean property, spacious comfortable rooms, exceptional staff, relaxing atmosphere, strong hospitality, and attentive beach service. Food is frequently described as excellent, though breakfast and dinner selection or quality is a recurring criticism. Other concerns include limited evening and indoor children’s activities, occasional crowds, and weak value for the high price.

There is no activities for the kids via indoor unlike other family hotels /resorts where they have arcade games inside the hotel, billiards, dart, air hockey, foosball etc.
Excellent quality and quantity of food for all meals, luxury bedroom finishes and amenities and a beautiful view to the city skyline and sea.
All in all, we really enjoyed our stay at your hotel and will certainly not be visiting you for the last time.

It's always a pleasure to return here, and we are certain that we will keep coming back, time and time again.
The location is dreamlike (you can see the Dubai Marina from the beach, where the sunset is also visible).
We came here to rest, but due to the huge crowds, we were unable to relax at all.

The Waldorf Astoria Hotel in Dubai is a luxurious and elegant oasis in the heart of the city.
If you're trying to remain cheap and penny smart better off staying somewhere not on the palm.
The overall experience did not feel very personalised or 5 star or special, rather very standardized.

Overall I didn't like anything related to the beach, everything else in this hotel is tolerable!
Insufficient service and lack of quality in the rooms and restaurants according to Hilton standards.
An absolutely lovely hotel, especially for families which was everything we hoped it would be.

The hotel was so amazing beautiful entrance the smell of fresh flowers in reception.
Have Been a few times before, will definitely look forward to going back.
Its elegance, ambience and fantastic service always make us want to come back.

Very nice facility, really exquisite and helpful staff, very quiet and well-organized beach.
I love the hotel I recommend every one, definitely I will back.
It is very nice, it is a real opportunity to switch off.

An unforgettable stay, filled with beautiful details and comfort and relaxation
Absolutely amazing, the hotel is immaculate in every detail! 6 stars
The quality of a top resort, true relaxation and attentive staff.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would come back anytime.
Music played on the piano during the day was great.
Returning guest for the 6th time and felt at home.

The best culinary and relaxation experience of my life.
When we arrived, the view of the Hotel impressed us first, then the kindness, flexibility, and incredible expertise of the staff, the room itself was a luxury miracle, followed by the view of the beach, the incredible comfort and luxury on the beach where dedicated staff take care of all our wishes, even keeping our sunglasses clean, the quality, variety, and tastiness of the food, the fridge is filled daily with delicious water, and on the beach, there is ice-cold mineral water that is replaced every half hour...
It was an enjoyable stay and a special thanks to Mr. Omar who was cooperative and treated us with kindness and respect.. We were a family of 4 people and 2 children, so they upgraded our reserved rooms to a luxurious hotel suite.. I appreciate his good treatment. I will definitely repeat this beautiful experience..

Terrible experience, one of the worst hotel ever , with unprofessional team and terrible room service food really dont think to order even a cup of coffee disaster / low quality food , this hotel must be rated as 2 star hotel.
The hotel was very good in 2018 and 2019, we liked it very much and we were happy to be guests there, which is why we have now decided to stay again - but never again.
The hotel is suitable for those who want a quiet vacation and not a lively one, but on the other hand, it is quite boring there in the evenings if you want to go out.

Staff: What guests say
View Waldorf Astoria Dubai Palm Jumeirah348 relevant reviews
Staff are most often praised as friendly, attentive, professional, and genuinely welcoming, with repeated recognition for reception, pool, luggage, and housekeeping employees. However, service is inconsistent: guests report unanswered calls, repeated requests for water, delayed or missed housekeeping, understaffing, unhelpful management, and occasional discourteous restaurant or reception interactions.

Another example is that on our last night at Waldorf, I was too full to have a buffet dinner but would like a cup of soup while my daughter was having a full meal, so I asked the manager and he said absolutely I can do that.
You entrapped me into thinking as a Hilton Honors Gold member I will get credit for this stay when I was booking hotel but did not allow me to provide that information - predatory behavior
Upon leaving, spoke with a front desk associate, who relayed briefly our complaints with the head manager, and apparently no news had been shared with him on what we had endured.

After I asked to speak to a manager, a very unapologetic woman came and very sarcastically suggested I should try not booking from third party booking sites.
Thank you to everyone for making our visit so special and including the housekeeping staff who made sure our room was perfect and spotless!
This became somewhat frustrating and disappointing and I just began to go down to the lobby to approach member of the staff directly.

It sometimes felt like they were more interested in getting a positive review on Google than about our comfort and privacy.
Lovely hotel with great staff but not for us but great for family’s and people that don’t mind it busy!
The Management think it is acceptable to apologise for failings which never should have happened in the first place.

Even no one revert to me to understand what was the issues during me stay after send complain
The staff, particularly Manager Ahmed, provided exceptional service, ensuring my every need was met with care and efficiency.
At the reception, a nice hostess organized the room a bit earlier, and we were served breakfast.

I didn’t recieve an apology and there was no initial mention of the events that took place.
Fantastic staff in all areas of the hotel, breakfast, bar, pool, beach bar, spa, room, everywhere!
The reception has a very high-quality team of pleasant people who know how to provide service.

Communication with the concierge is nearly nonexistent—they either don’t answer the phone or are unhelpful.
Efforts are made to ensure that guests are fully cared for and feel completely comfortable.
We decided to go and talk to the concierge instead, and his desk was empty.

As lovely and professional as they were, service in all departments was extremely slow.
Staff would prepare your bed for you with towels and buckets of ice water
The staff around the pool were always on hand with water and towels.

Special thanks to brother Abdulaziz and Sean for their more than amazing treatment
Especially Andreas from housekeeping and Ojo at the pool did an excellent job.
Another sign that there is a lack of necessary care and attention.

The staff reads every wish from your lips and is very friendly.
I would like to especially thank the employee / Samihah at the reception as she is the best example of excellent service on behalf of the upscale hotel and the most magnificent city in the world, which is (Dubai). She is the epitome of customer service at the hotel, and I extend my deepest thanks, appreciation, and respect to her, wishing her continuous success in her career. I hope the hotel management recognizes and appreciates this employee.
Everything, really everything was top-notch. Starting from the greeting at the hotel entrance with the handling of our luggage, the escort to the check-in desk, the quick arrangement of formalities there, the early availability of the room, the service, and above all the pleasant presence and friendliness of the staff in all areas of the hotel.

I got upset since the receptionist could have given us the New room, with full view of the sea without a large ugly building to block the view, with a strong air-conditioning, NOT a malfunction air-conditioning, where we spend much time calls and visits of maintenance, running to reception for change and help.
In general, the staff in the restaurants are very good and leave no wishes unfulfilled, especially in LAO and Mezzerie; even though it's a buffet, the food is of good quality, so in my opinion, half board at the Waldorf Astoria is worth it.
The number of staff at each position is great, we never have to wait for any type of service, the attention given to the room is extraordinary where they change the bedding every day and tidy the room several times a day.

Rooms: What guests say
View Waldorf Astoria Dubai Palm Jumeirah259 relevant reviews
Rooms are repeatedly praised for being exceptionally spacious, comfortable, clean, and offering impressive sea, balcony, or Burj Al Arab views. Recurring drawbacks include malfunctioning or weak air conditioning, occasional odors, dated furnishings, noise or poor door sealing, inconsistent housekeeping, and isolated cleanliness or maintenance problems. Some suites have large terraces and luxury amenities.

We could not have our room for the totality of our stay so we really were disappointed because many rooms were booked for people coming for the Cop 28, so Viorella upgraded us and it was difficult because the hotel was full, she helped us during all our stay.
But they want to give a room on the 5 floor empty and let me stay on the 2 floor and walk very far end on the corridor with 4 year olds kid that I have to carry him back to the room every night.
Great stay with family, we would definitely go back, there is work going on in the hotel from 10 am - 6pm, this was not mentioned on our arrival. Could have been disruptive if wanted to spend more time in our room.

Please notice that we had 4 pieces of luggage where we unpacked in our room, and then we had to repack 4 pieces of luggage and transfer to another floor another room.
The room was old and worn out – the carpet was partially soaking wet, and there was water damage right outside the room that had not been fixed.
Even though the room was large and comfortable, there is little point in staying at The Palm if you don’t have a sea view.

The decoration of the entrance hall, the comfort of the rooms (top bedding), and really soundproofed large balcony, the bathroom, and luxury in general!
Bathroom amenities are out of this world (Aesop) & the bathrobe is soooooo soft and comfortable, you wanna stay in it forever.
Extremely nasty experience ever -> bidet and toilet paper hanger were smeared with faecals !!! that had a very unpleasant aftertaste.

In addition= we wanted room temperature to reduce to 18 degrees centigrade, since it was a very hot day outside.
Some of the tools in the room are old and it looks used like the slippers and the hairdryer
The hotel is old, and the room has a musty smell of dampness, with visible scratches and patches.

The room was not available since some issues on the room and they are trying to fix
Itook the bath wash in my room which is a consumable get in my room to use.
Our room was spacious and clean and housekeeping were always polite and did a brilliant job.

The terrace was huge and sun beds on the terrace added a nice touch.
Very comfortable room with a pillow menu so you really get a great sleep.
The hotel services are amazing (beauty of the rooms, pool, beach, room service).

It was clean, room was big and comfortable, good value for money.
The housekeeping was so nice and they do their job really good!
The beds are comfortable and the rooms are spacious and quiet.

The room was just as described and shown in the pictures.
A 12m long balcony with one chair and a small sofa
The bed was a great size and comfy / clean.

Very classic dull design of the rooms and the hotel.
The room is spacious and the bathroom is large
The hotel rooms are outdated and clearly need maintenance

The atmosphere and overall design of the Hotel.
The view was amazing, the rooms very spacious.
Wifi connection was very poor and internet slow.

Location: What guests say
View Waldorf Astoria Dubai Palm Jumeirah180 relevant reviews
Most guests praise the outer Palm Jumeirah setting, private beach, clean sand, attractive views, and relaxing atmosphere. Recurring drawbacks are distance from central Dubai, limited nearby amenities, and 20–25 minutes to leave the Palm. Some report construction, factory, leaf-blower, event, and crowd noise, while others found construction unobtrusive.

Only thing that stops this hotel being a 10 is the location since it's on the outer section of the palm and is a bit further down it's a ways away from everything.
Unfortunately, the beach was closed during my stay with privacy screens (work on the beach by the government, the hotel is not to blame, but booking.com did not inform about this in advance!)
The location is excellent for the beach and the view but it may be a bit too far from the center; going out for dinner or on excursions can become a bit challenging.

The location is very nice if you want to stay on the palm . it is a bit far from the city the trip a minimum of an hour to reach dubai mall.
There was constant noise: a malfunctioning AC machine in the garden, leaf blowers going for hours, noisy deliveries, DJ music from Club 55 on the beach, and a construction site next door.
Building site next door never informed about when booking and the road works on the palm added 1 hour to all journeys on and off the palm again nothing said when booking

I didn't like that it is located at the end of the Palm, so a bit far from all attractions; it takes 30-40 minutes by car and costs 70-100 dirhams one way.
If you are looking for something specific, you have to plan for the fact that it takes about 30 minutes by taxi to get to the city because of the hotel's location.
It may feel a bit isolated there as you’re on the outer part of the palm, but it’s great if you just prefer a quiet, calm holiday staying at the hotel property.

Some of these hotels on the palm are not as spread out as one might like so you cannot really stroll far on the beach.
I ended up having to park my car in the street and told to give the keys to a hotel employee.
It’s quite far on the palm; having said that it is an ideal sunrise/sunset spot with nice views either side.

However we have to make sure not to be next to construction or next door to a factory.
There is a building site next door but to be honest it doesn't really affect the hotel.
The hotel is very isolated, far from everything, so you need to take that into account.

Missing a nearby accessible shop for some amenities or snacks and things of that nature.
The hotel is located on Palm near the sea access - the water was clear.
Every morning at 07:30, including weekends, gardeners using leaf blowers wake you up.

Terrace with a view of the Burj Khalifa and the Burj Al Arab.
Blue water at the sea, which is almost comparable to the Maldives.
Perfect relaxing getaway without the hustle bustle of a major city.

The hotel was far from the peaceful retreat it promotes.
It's little bit far if you don't have a car.
Plan for a means of transportation to the city center

Being on the palm and having traffic was a nuisance.
There was a large renovation next to the hotel.
The beach was clean and the view was beautiful.

Location makes it harder to get into downtown Dubia
The location is somewhat deep within the Palm
Its beach is very quiet, clean, and beautiful.

Breakfast: What guests say
View Waldorf Astoria Dubai Palm Jumeirah149 relevant reviews
Breakfast reviews are mixed. Many guests praise the generous, varied, fresh, high-quality buffet and friendly staff, sometimes with themed evenings and food-sensitive options. Recurring complaints include overcrowding, long queues, disorganized seating and slow coffee or made-to-order service. Some found the selection limited or average, with poor bacon and sausages, flies, unpleasant smells, and standards below five-star expectations.

The breakfast, the pools, the cleanliness of the sea, and special thanks to the hotel management and the manager Mr. Sami. Thank you very much for the warm welcome, good understanding, and hospitality. Thank you very much, may God bless him and increase his like.
It continues with the ladies at breakfast (A special thank you to the head hostess at breakfast in the morning who makes an effort to learn everyone's names and who is overflowing with small attentions and kind words).
Fantastic breakfast, top-notch and professional staff, maximum cleanliness, customer care at the highest level from reception, through the cleaning staff, through the cooks at breakfast, to the hotel worker responsible for towels on the loungers.

Our simple omelette well done was done wrongly, it had to be done again but it was still runny and they added cheese despite us telling them we don’t want cheese.
The service at breakfast was not good - we had to wait for a while to get coffees etc and l did not like the fact it was self service.
And finally, we ordered breakfast in the room at reception two days before our departure for 06:00, the lady was very friendly and wrote everything down.

We were told that it starts only the next day, but I did not see why I should pay 250 AED for breakfast per person.
The buffet meals were always exciting and the children and I always looked forward to meeting the hosts who showed us to our seats.
During breakfast it took 10 minutes to get a coffee (if they don't forget it)! It should have a self-service coffee as well.

I do appreciate that the hotel acknowledged the issue and offered us a 50% discount on breakfast as a gesture of goodwill.
Whether it was bringing over a drink we didn’t order or charging us for the breakfast even though we were half board.
The breakfast and dinner buffet is very basic for a 5-star hotel, considering the price and what is expected from the brand.

Breakfast was also very disappointing and all plates and some food had a fishing bad smell made us nauseous while eating.
Only thing is the breakfast was monotonous as I expected the options for breakfast offered would have changed the next day.
Very tasty breakfasts and dinners, the food is commendable both in the main restaurant and in the Social restaurant.

The breakfast was horrible, you’d order and it will take over 20mins to get a simple English tea.
As for the food - I'm still unsure whether to classify it as a plus or a minus.
Because although they tried to impress with a wide variety, the quality of the products was average.

Due to the hotel's location, it is recommended to take half board and not just breakfast,
After multiple inquiries, we were finally allowed to sit at a table that was dirty.
Also the food for breakfast & dinner is great with also excellent service.

Just the breakfast both food and location was not meeting our expectations
The breakfast timing is so early also with limited items for choosing.
Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are all just as good and flavorful.

The breakfast is vast, and the buffets were also good.
Breakfast was too crowded and queue was too long.
The service and the quality of the breakfast buffet.

Breakfast on Saturday morning was a complete nightmare.
As good as the food is for breakfast,
I didn’t like the breakfast at all.

Restaurant: What guests say
View Waldorf Astoria Dubai Palm Jumeirah134 relevant reviews
Restaurant feedback is mixed: many guests praise Social, Lao and the in-house restaurants for delicious, high-quality, beautifully presented food, strong breakfast/buffet variety and attentive staff. Others report poor or limited buffet quality, weak vegetarian choices, noisy children, restaurants closed for renovation, and extra charges for drinks or a 10% service fee; one guest reported cockroaches.

Food was far below expectation especially the new Chinese restaurant, only the name is Chinese, but the taste is nothing to do with Chinese food, sorry but poor quality, very salty, or very sweet, also very expensive to such quality, prices of drinks are far too expensive, maybe you need a good Chinese chiff.
High-level in-house restaurants, but I really want to thank Chef Carmine of the "Social" restaurant for the excellent dishes and the Hilton atmosphere that can be felt in his restaurant, which makes it a good excuse to return.
The first night only Asahi Draft was available so we paid thinking it was due to a different beer, the second night they were out of Ashai and said only Peroni was available and charged us the extra!

The price-performance ratio at Social is exaggerated; we travel a lot in Italy, but you won't find such prices for Italian food anywhere; the quality was good, but the modern cuisine takes some getting used to.
You only need to stand up for a few minutes with your partner after dessert, and when you return, the table will be cleared and new guests are already sitting in your place 😁
The one night we decided to dine in we expected a wide array of flavours but were left with the impression of the chef using the exactly the same spices for each dish.

Unfortunately this room was too small for all of the guest and it took 15 minutes to get our coffee and 30 minutes for us to get our eggs cooked.
But children running around at 10pm is not good in the restaurant and also very noisy the restaurant is for eating and not a playground for young children,
When we informed about early check out and ordered launch box, we got fresh juice, hot tea, tasty bakery and fresh fruits and it was great served.

I found the dinner to be very limited for vegetarians and not particularly high quality when compared to other 5 star resorts in Dubai.
And we asked less during dinner and received a charge for 2 colas and one peach iced tea for 126 shekels.
At dinner time, we waited for an extended period without being served, and ultimately, no dinner was provided at all.

Il faut attendre 19 h et une minute pour pouvoir commander un repas au restaurant près de la piscine.
Unfortunately, the dining experience was disappointing and did not meet the standards expected from a luxury hotel.
The dinner buffet was Indian theme, in my opinion during public holidays the buffet should be international.

After some discussion and an explanation from the food and beverages manager, the charge was canceled.
I didn't like the main restaurant, very large and cool style and uncomfortable with constant music.
Restaurant meal is variable and very tasty, there is nothing common with all inclusive style food.

We were also very satisfied with the restaurants and snacks at the beach and pool.
After a week of half-board, one gets a bit bored with the choice of food.
The food in the restaurant is varied, with a fresh, non-repetitive menu, choices available.

I enjoyed the evening buffets, great variety and well presented, particularly the desserts.
Food takes some adapting. But I think it's a country of origin thing
I didn’t like that water wasn’t included in the half board dinner.

Both in terms of service and the quality of the food.
The food is of high quality, with a large selection.
The food we had at LAO did not taste good

Food at dinner time is ok , nothing special.
The food is just super super super perfect!
Due to off season, x2 restaurants not open.

Facilities: What guests say
View Waldorf Astoria Dubai Palm Jumeirah120 relevant reviews
Guests repeatedly describe the property as beautiful, clean, well maintained, family-friendly, and well located, with appealing pools, private beach, kids’ club, and strong overall facilities. Recurring drawbacks include very poor or unreliable Wi-Fi, late opening of pool, beach, and spa amenities, weekend crowding and noise, and some aging furnishings, carpets, lighting, and equipment.

After telling them I needed somewhere to change as I had an important work meeting, I was taken to a near by hotel where I had to change in the lobby restroom (with no changing rooms or showers available).
I believe these facilities should ideally be accessible from at least 7:00 AM, as many guests prefer to enjoy the pool or beach early in the morning, especially during the summer.
The combination of exceptional staff, luxurious facilities, and a commitment to high standards makes the Waldorf Astoria, the Palm a top recommendation for anyone seeking an unparalleled hotel experience.

It is definitely necessary to address the wifi coverage in the hotel, as the signal often dropped in the common areas of the hotel or on the hotel beach.
The included wifi is very bad, if you want to improve it you have to pay extra. You don't expect something like this from a hotel like this.
The staff, the standards, the comfort, the pool, the bedding, the room, the view, the meals, the welcome, thank you to the whole Waldorf team, exceptional stay!

The only feedback would be to keep the buffet in the Pearl Lounge open past 8pm as that is quite early to close in the evening.
There were parts of the hotel not in use and we were not told about this at the time of the booking or even check in.
It would nice to have little more sport attractions opportunities on the beach for the kids but the ones they have is fine as well.

The current limited operating hours make it difficult for guests to fully enjoy these amenities, particularly for those with limited time during their stay.
The hotel should update the air-conditioning system to enable warming the room at night when it is getting colder outside, or alternatively provide radiators...
We were not able to cancel after staying there a few days and wanting to change hotels because we had booked through booking.com.

Staff kept interrupting private time with silk minibar charges which we were asked to pay again upon checkout, extremely rude and annoying.
Grilling odor filling the east wing of the lobby coming from some of the restaurants was unpleasant during the evenings.
I must mention that the internet was terrible everywhere in the hotel and not just in specific spots.

There is a private beach for the hotel and the view from the beach is wow.
Club Lounge on 5th floor is the only positive experience we had in this hotel.
Swimming pool area too crowded and noisy with ongoing works just beneath and dust.

There is a small shop inside the hotel (cigarettes, snacks, drinks, sunscreen, etc.)
They did a nice job of keeping it tidy, relaxed and welcoming.
Hotel is well maintained, but is starting to need a renovation.

We had never experienced anything like this, an absolute party hotel.
The kids' club is large, varied, and excellent for children
The hotel all through is beautifully decorated, well-maintained and clean.

The property itself, the facilities and location is perfect.
Iron needs changing and iron board cover needs replacing.
The one site water sport rental, was ridiculously expense.

No refills in due time and no cleaning.
Kids club for our child so beautiful
Facilities for kids including inflatable water park

Pool: What guests say
View Waldorf Astoria Dubai Palm Jumeirah108 relevant reviews
Reviews frequently praise the clean, attractive pools, private beach, quiet adults-only area, temperature-controlled water, and attentive service with towels, ice, and drinks. Recurring drawbacks include early pool closures, occasional small or crowded adult/children’s pools, sunbed reservation disputes, slippery or cloudy water, mosquitoes, slow food service, and isolated safety or staff incidents.

Very annoying that the pool attendants reserve sunbeds for people by leaving magazines on the beds and try and tell you that people have been down and put them on there, and gone to breakfast, complete lies as I've seen them place them and reserve for same people everyday, then the people don't turn up till 11/12 to sit on them.
The breakfast, the pools, the cleanliness of the sea, and special thanks to the hotel management and the manager Mr. Sami. Thank you very much for the warm welcome, good understanding, and hospitality. Thank you very much, may God bless him and increase his like.
If i compared it to previous hotels i have stayed in in Dubai i felt the pool area could have been bigger especially the adult only pool - but not to be put off that is only a personal opinion

I would also like to highlight the beach - clean, quiet, great service, comfortable sun loungers, they bring a bucket of ice and water (free of charge!), provide wet cold towels, and offer to clean your glasses! )
The service at the pool was incredibly pampering, including free bottled water in a bucket with ice, something that helped cool us down with lemon slush that felt funny and indulgent!!!
Excellent service at the adult pool by the lifeguard Sasi, exemplary attention to towels, food, drinks, and ice; when a hotel has such staff, you can truly feel at ease.

Small incident happened at the pool, my daughter was nearly drowned and the lifeguard response was slow, but they apologized and offered me medical care
Beach and pool close early and open late, should be open at least 7 to 8am and pool should be closed at least by 9pm
The Beach was also very beautiful but the sea was very warm, so the pool was better because it was cool and refreshing.

As an extra bonus, there is an adult's only pool with the spectacular views of Atlantis the Royal that is a refuge.
Pools and beach were staffed well and plenty sun beds for everyone with strict management of their allocation which worked well.
Pool / beach side no proper 5 star services with complimentary ice cream / cold towels or anything to be offered

Everything was excellent from the room, the pools, the cleanliness, the availability of water at all times, and the excellent service.
Indian Pool / Beach staff were incredibly rude ("the beach is closed, I take your towel and you go now").
That was very disappointing when you go down early and still struggle to get a sunbed in a decent area.

Small frozen towels to cool the body until you get to the pool, a very tasty menu by the pool,
Hotel allows guests to place a towel on sunbed in early morning and leave it there for the day.
The beach & pool area spacious & more attentive staff to look after us there too.

The pool area was fantastic and there was an 'adult only' pool, which we used.
Well thought out with pools, one for families with children and another just for adults.
The floor is so slippery around the pool that I fell down twice

Adults swim in it, and they are not stopped from doing so
If the pool was cold, this hotel would be a 10/10.
We had a meal at the pool until room was ready

There is a designated 'quiet zone' for those without children.
We have enjoyed using the pool and the beach facilities.
Smoke from the kitchens flooding the entire pool area

You are not blasted with music there either.
Private beach, family pool and Adult only pool.
Wish they can only have adult pool.

Check-in / Check-out: What guests say
View Waldorf Astoria Dubai Palm Jumeirah56 relevant reviews
Check-in experiences are inconsistent: some guests received rooms hours early or enjoyed smooth service, but recurring complaints include 15–30-minute queues, waits of two to three hours, late room readiness, and busy valet service. Checkout often involved pressure, denied late requests, disputed charges, duplicate payment questions, and missing invoices, though individual staff sometimes offered flexible late checkout.

Of course they don't extent the validity of the access card, so head back to reception, then finally get in the room and they switch off the lights so your children have to go to the toilet in darkness and you have to use the torch on your phone to see your items when packing!
Also we arrived at 1:00pm received our room at 4pm when we requested to check out the same time they gave us the room they agreed only until 3pm late checkout and no compensation they said the policy until 12:00pm which doesn’t make sense why we received the keys late.
We would go up from the pool around 2:30/3:00 PM and the room still wasn't made, we were actually caught by the housekeeping team inside when they knocked on the door and we had to wait for the later shift for them to finally clean it.

When I first arrived, they delayed my room unfortunately, and the excuse was that it was a holiday... What does that have to do with me? But afterwards they compensated me by allowing a 2 PM checkout when I asked them.
The earliest check in is 3 pm - but you have to wait an hour for your luggage, which is very frustrating when your staying for just the weekend and wanting to get to the pool with the family.
The receptionist was not honest and manipulated the facts .. Despite my long patience, I had to go apologize to her at the request of the manager on duty even though I was in the right ..

The checkout was a hassle. One manager had approved that we check out at 2pm but another one came at 12 and she sounded like she was chasing us away we had to finish packing outside
But i had to call 3 time at same day of arrival to confirm my request as initially they told me the rooms are not connected but after 3 calls they confirmed by requested room
We had a difficult time even before our arrival, as we had booked half-board, but the day before we were told that we were not entitled to half-board, even though we had a confirmed reservation.

Upon arrival at the hotel, I was informed that due to the cancellation of the reservation, my paid day is considered a PENALTY FOR CANCELLATION, and I need to pay for it again!!!
I contacted the hotel but they refused and offered to pay on the spot, in the end it came to $4,600, Booking.com tried to provide assistance but the hotel refused to change.
I accidentally booked a room without breakfast and dinner for $11,000, and immediately wanted to cancel the booking and make a new one with food, the difference was only $800.

They should clarify on checking in what is complimentary and what is chargeable its frustrating to be told a huge bill when checking out which you did not plan for.
I had an issue with the AC in which they had to send someone over to replace the thermostat! This should always be checked prior to someone checking in.
In the end, we arrived at the hotel and they reserved an amount for the entire stay plus a few thousand, which is not usually done in hotels.

Even though at check-out they told me they have several free transfers to Dubai Mall and other places, no one gave me this information at check-in.
In the end, the charge was fine and as we booked, and they refunded us the excess they took (I hope, I haven't checked yet ..)
I also asked for adjoining rooms upon check in, but was informed the hotel was fully booked and they didn’t have an adjoining room available.

I have not received an invoice for the hotel costs and am now still running after it - on the third day after the stay.
I booked a room from March 6 to March 14, 2023, through Booking, and the cost of the first night's stay was deducted before check-in.
We were requested to pay for our breakfast even though it was paid ahead during our check-in.. did not understand why it was not showing.

I aske requested the reservation was cancelled and the money refunded to my account, being disappointed, it is a 5 star hotel.
When we returned to the hotel in the evening, they specifically asked again if the room should still be cleaned.
The people next to us were served the drinks we felt like we were not valued as a customer.

Unfortunately, there were massive problems on the day of departure with an incompetent 'wanna-be manager on duty' lady.
Not easy check out , they asked me regarding the bill that i already paid it
At check-in we had to wait 15 minutes and were served later arriving guests before us.

I asked for a palm view but was told on check in that wasn't available.
Check-in at 4:00 PM is too late for a hotel of that price level.
Room was ready when we checked in very early which was much appreciated

Spa feedback is mostly excellent, highlighting quiet, spacious, relaxing facilities, high-class treatments, and experienced therapists. However, some guests found areas dated, poorly connected to changing facilities, or unattractive, while prices were repeatedly described as very high. One guest reported unanswered booking messages, and couples massages were restricted to a premium treatment.

I tried to order spa facilities- but SPA staff didn't answer my calls and even didn't react for what's up messages for the phone they provided themselves
We would've loved to just have a normal couple's massage but even though the facility for it exists, this was sadly not possible.
The only slight drawback here was that the couples massage room is only bookable through a special signature gold-treatment (forgot the name).

When i came and asked why they didn't answer my messages- they replied : 'we just didn't reply. that's all!!!'
It’s pricy at the hotel - just expect that when you want to buy food and perhaps get spa treatments.
It is time to renew the the welcome area/reception and arrange nice presentation of cosmetics they offer

So, during my stay i lost the opportunity to visit SPA facilities at all
Tanja from the spa gave the perfect massage ever, even with a medical focus!!
The spa is one of the best I have experienced—quiet, spacious, and relaxing.

The Spa was a very nice experience with great facilities and experienced therapists.
Lack of connection to changing area, nowhere to sit and relax.
During a stay at this hotel, we recommend visiting the Spa.

Visited the spa which was lovely - had great treatments.
Men’s SPA was really small and not attractive to use
The spa area and wellness treatments are absolutely recommended.

Few services like the spa are really expensive.
The picture is very poor and dull
Spa facilities make us feel as queens.

Spa experience was amazing and highly recommended.
The beach and the spa are fantastic
The ladies spa area wasn’t impressive.

Felt dated and poorly thought out.
Spa, beach and pool were fantastic.
Hospitality, breakfast, spa were all amazing.

The spa was divine and relaxing.
Gym and Spa high class.
Thank you thank you 🤩

Spa prices are exorbitant
Great spa experience.

Free shuttles to Dubai Mall, Mall of the Emirates, and sometimes Atlantis the Palm are a recurring advantage. The hotel is far from central attractions, often around 40 minutes in traffic, with taxi waits and occasional fare or service problems. Valet can be slow, and nearby construction may be audible by the pool.

The other so-called taxis are very rude, and your fare from the center to the hotel can amount to 450 dirhams (in such a situation, I simply refused to pay that amount and threatened to call the police), I opened the door and got out of the car.
It also has free bus shuttle services to Dubai Mall, Mall of the Emirates, and Atlantis the Palm, which makes it easier to get around the city a bit.
We reached Dubai on the day of flooding (historic Dubai flooding) and the hotel stated that they were not going to send airport pick up.

I really liked that the hotel offers free buses to the big shopping malls, so you don't have to pay for a taxi separately.
I recommend using only the yellow taxi (city taxi), it always arrives and uses a meter. You can order it right from the hotel.
Except on Mondays, there are free shuttle buses to the Dubai Mall and Mall of the Emirates twice daily.

Very! Very far from the center and entertainment, with traffic it takes about 40 minutes to get there.
Long drive to the hotel, next to a construction site, which can be heard by the pool.
And shuttle bus to Dubai mall & mall of the emirates was a plus point.

The live jazz wasn't running and bar was closed with no notice.
Due to flooding on the roads, we were unable to get there.
I explained how taxis had refused to bring us to the hotel.

Limousine service: driver spoke no English and was very unkempt.
I rang up to book a room with your reservations.
Waiting to get taxis can take some time.

Difficult to get a pool car at times
Valet was a little slow and disorganised.
Ordering taxi was a little bit difficult.

Complementary shuttle bus to many areas.

The gym, with its stunning view of Burj Al Arab, stands out as one of the finest hotel gyms I have visited.
The Gym was good, although several treadmills had annoying faults flashing up during use.
The gym is also very nicely equipped and accessible at all times.

During a stay at this hotel, we recommend visiting the gym.
Gym was well equipped and a nice facility
Best gym I’ve seen at a resort/hotel

The gym was spacious and never crowded
The gym is very good
Gym and Spa high class.

So was the gym facility.
Large and well-equipped gym
