Other wise every things is perfect in the hotel feom every thinks and always we wel be asscott i never change the hotel aftar I try it
We arrived in Singapore after a grueling 17 hour flight with our toddler and lived at the Ascott for nearly three months while looking for an apartment.
This property really could have done better. I had stayed here with my family a few years ago but dont think i would partioonize this property again.

Having stayed at Ascott Orchard Singapore multiple times, I can confidently say that their exceptional service and attention to detail make all the difference.
I'd highly recommend the Ascott Orchard for young families for vacation or as your landing pad for when you arrive in Singapore.
We paid as much as the room in ordinary hotel but didn't get the same service as what get usually in hotels.

I truly enjoyed every moment of my stay and will definitely be coming back on my next visit to Singapore.
All of it ..It was to our expectations ..same as all the other Ascot facilities that we have enjoyed elsewhere
Great overall experience, great location, great brand new design, great room size, sleep well in the comfy bed.

The hotel was absolutely top-tier luxury from the stylish interiors to the exceptional service, everything felt premium.
Overall, Ascott Orchard Singapore is a wonderful choice for families looking for a memorable stay in Singapore.
I highly recommend ASR Orchard for anyone looking for a comfortable and hassle-free stay in Singapore!

Overall, the stay was disappointing due to the unpleasant damp smell and lack of comfort.
For a property in Orchard prime area, service expectations is below par for Ascott branding.
While in general it is clean, however the vacuum cleaning could be improved a bit.

However, we stayed there in 2 br suite 2 years ago. It was quite nice.
Just don’t expect a 5 star service like when you are staying in a hotel.
Overall, I was disappointed as the experience did not live up to my expectations.

Overall, this hotel is great for families, and we would definitely stay here again.
Amazing stay, will come back as long as the AC fan is fixed!
Ascott Orchard Singapore has truly become my go-to accommodation in the city.

Overall a good place for getaway and some solo reflections time.
I loved everything about it. Nothing I didn’t like.
It wasn't the cheapest but was worth the money.

Fantastic place to land after moving to Singapore
I like that it is very convenient.
Great experience, would go back again.

Everything is excellent in this hotel.
The property is still considerably new.
Supermarket is also close by.

Rooms: What guests say
View Ascott Orchard Singapore154 relevant reviews
Rooms are generally spacious, modern, functional, and often clean, with comfortable beds, good views, and useful kitchenettes or washer-dryers. The most repeated complaint is very loud, poorly regulated air-conditioning, sometimes blowing directly onto beds. Other concerns include damp smells, small or poorly maintained bathrooms, limited storage, uncomfortable mattresses, and occasional room-size/value discrepancies.

The 20 floor apartment was no privacy the sound move between rooms in the apartment .. i have kids take in room i can hear them clearly .. if the wach tv the sound come to my room through the wall .. no sound protection in walls its just like paper wall so noisy
They only change the room to a better view but also not comfortable it is on the 5th floor and the swimming pool on the 4th floor but was looking almost the same level of the swimming pool everybody out can see inside my room it was very close to the swimming pool.
I have to add 1,200 more for my stay, they give us 2room with the king bed,in my booking I give note that for room 1 it should be ok with king bed but other room I need twin bed room

Room is rather small, but has everything you need, even a little kitchen with microwave, fridge, coffeemaker, etc. which was a huge advantage if traveling with kids.
Furthermore, there's malfunctioning of the air cond over the night, but no one came to fix it nor follow-up with a call about the status.
On the first night, there was some issue with the shower where there is no hot water but this was fixed.

Due to the position of the bed. The air-conditioning was blowing on my head. Even at the lowest setting.
This is easy when one needs to cook some food for the baby and wash the bottles etc.
Can see slight stains and for the price I paid and where it’s located, I expect more.

But over the night we have ants crawling all over the bed sheets which was unpleasant.
The kitchenette was also a wonderful addition with complete set of utensils (no stove though).
The aircon was very loud in our bedroom, the mattresses are also quite bouncy.

Also the AC is a bit loud so we just turned it off.
We apparently booked the wrong room as the room has no washer/dryer.
And the view was the parking although I book a premiere studio!!

The room felt a bit small for the price we paid
So forced to stuck in the room with no air ventilation.
With complete facility in premiere suite like your own apartement

I brought my 93 y.o grandpa and he couldn't sleep.
Felt like it has not been mop for a year.
Room was a little crammed but not too bad.

I felt like the room could be better maintained.
The room was spacious and comfortable, with excellent ventilation.
Very comfortable room, centrally located in the shopping district.

I have stayed here previously on numerous occasions.
This only worked 15 percent of the time.
Nice room but room is not sound proof

I really love the hotel apartment, well equipped.
The bed and comforters was very soft.
Would prefer bigger room for that price

Location: What guests say

The hotel is repeatedly praised for its central Orchard Road location, with shopping, restaurants, public transport and Paragon Mall nearby. Guests highlight the link bridge to Paragon and onward malls, a roughly five-minute walk to MRT, and a surprisingly quiet setting away from the main road; it is also convenient for Mount Elizabeth Hospital.

The strategic location of the hotel makes it easy to access nearby attractions, direct access to Paragon mall shopping centers, and dining options, making it convenient for families to explore the city.
Overall it is an amazing property with a convenient location if you want to access Orchard roads shopping district or the Mt Elizabeth Hospital which is behind the Paragon Mall.
Although it's nestled right in the center of busy Orchard Road, you could still feel the peach and tranquility as it's located away from the main road.

The location is extremely strategic—right in the middle of Orchard Road and only a 5-minute walk to Somerset MRT, making it very convenient to get around.
Centrally located and hidden away just off the shopping district of Orchard road with god facilities plus an overhead link to Paragon Mall is very convinient
Convenience to major shopping was wonderful and there was a walkover bridge from the hotel right into a mall - very nice when raining.

Would stay here again and recommend other people to stay here if looking to shop, while also within walking distance of two MRT stations.
There is a bridge (more like a small maze) to Paragon mall - so if you like luxury stuff, that's a good shortcut.
Perfect for family who want to find a accommodation in the downtown Singapore without need to bother with a crowded and noisy environment.

Due to the influence of F1, the accommodation fees were a bit high, but considering the service and location, I was satisfied.
It's behind Cairnhill road and the entrance of the carpark is right beside a mosque on the right side of the road.
Location was fantastic as we wanted to have easy walking access to Orchard Road yet secluded from the noise and bustle.

The property is in the heart of Orchard, there are lot of options for shopping and also many good restaurants.
The location is unbeatable—right in the heart of Orchard Road, making shopping, dining, and business meetings incredibly convenient.
I like the fact that there is a link bridge directly to the Paragon mall on level 4.

That bridge is also a good shortcut to the malls on Orchard station side (Takashimaya, ION).
Great place to stay in the middle of Orchard road with lots of shops and restaurants.
VERY close to a major intersection of Orchard Ave for all the big brand stores.

Great Location - central to getting around Singapore by walking, MRT or bus services
Good location at Orchard, connecting bridge from hotel to Paragon mall was available.
The Ascott's location is convenient for shopping, walking and using public transportation.

Location is good, easy access to express bus routes from Orchard.
Although the location was great, everything else was just okay.
Location was near orchard road around 10 minutes only walked

In a great location, direct link to Paragon shopping centre.
Location is good though not the best in Orchard.
Convenient location with the skybridge connected to Paragon Mall.

The link bridge to Paragon is a plus.
Central to all of attractions in Orchard
Easy access to main Orchard Road malls.

Staff: What guests say
View Ascott Orchard Singapore101 relevant reviews
Staff are overwhelmingly described as friendly, professional, attentive, and responsive, with repeated praise for front desk, concierge, housekeeping, and lobby teams. Specific help included arranging taxis, handling deliveries and luggage, fixing equipment promptly, storing forgotten medicines, and personal birthday touches. Isolated complaints mention a cold check-in, an unhelpful response, housekeeping entering during Do Not Disturb, and smoking-related follow-up.

They also helped us when we had a problem with our neighbor smoking & the smoke smell got into our room at 4am in the morning, sending staff to our room to take care of the odor & bring us fruits for apology in the morning.
When I couldn't find a taxi, they searched for one for me, and when I had no cash upon getting off the taxi, they lent me some. They helped me every day, even though my English was not very good.
I really loved the hospitality throughout my first stay which is why I came back this trip, and also booked for future trips however, the welcome/friendliness/hospitality was somehow lesser than my first trip which had so impressed me.

The good side of it was there a gentleman called Robert who really delighted guest like us with his passion, hospitality and service at the lobby whenever we see him in any part of the day!
As our flight out was quite late in the evening, I was hoping that they would allow a later check out time given I had paid for an extra night when I hadn't even used it.
When I went down to the reception no employees were there and one of the staff came from a door and said the lady who put me on hold left the hotel because her shift finish!!!!

She informed us they can send someone to look into the safe but we declined as we didn't want to have our time taken up by the hotel who didn't offer any service recovery.
Around 6pm, she finally called me back and said that the GM wanted to charge me for the 2nd nights’ stay because it was already 6pm and they could no longer sell the room.
The whole staff there should be commended - warm smiles at all hours, helpful nature, rush to call elevators, just a great team to walk back to after a long day.

The staff on night duty explained that after I called the first time, he had come up to my floor and stood outside my room, but did not hear any noises.
Apparently they were not sure who was smoking- its not rocket science- it shouldn't be that difficult to figure out as there are only a few rooms per floor.
The day of my checkout, the team ordered my taxi at 4:45 a.m. and called my room at 4:30 to check if I needed help with the luggage.

The hospitality at Ascott Orchard is top-notch, with friendly and friendly staff like bu Melina setiawan who go above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable.
Had do not disturb turned on and housekeeping simply walked in - while my wife was in the shower - for a ‘wellness check’.
One plus point is a very warm and friendly hotel staff, they are very helpful and informative in every kind of my request.

John kindly offered to check with the lady who checked me in by WA and stated he was waiting for her reply.
Their staff was at fault but they cover it up for her just because they don’t want to settle a simple problem.
This level of service is what we should expect from a 5-star property, but unfortunately, it’s all too rare in Singapore.

Few mins later, John rang our room and said my ID was found and it was on the scanner!
She should have told me this instead of leaving me on hold and let someone else assist me!!
Knowing this, I contacted the hotel in advance to see if we could get a later checkout.

There were many times I needed help, but they were always there to assist me.
Stuff told me it’s ok and forward earplugs - absolutely worst service about that.
The staff are very kind & sweet and Robert is one of them.

Wasted my 2 hours and in the end say they can’t do anything.
A big thank you to the amazing team for their hospitality.
The reason I hate this place, is for their service.

She did not offer to do any check too.
But what really made my stay was the staff.
Staff and service was very good as well.

Facilities: What guests say
View Ascott Orchard Singapore45 relevant reviews
Well-maintained gyms, pools, playgrounds, resident lounge, full kitchenettes, laundry facilities, and the covered bridge to Paragon Mall are frequent strengths. Recurring drawbacks include noisy or unreliable air-conditioning, unclear equipment instructions, weak Wi-Fi, limited kitchen supplies, occasional cleanliness issues, and absent on-site restaurant, bar, sauna, or steam room.

However needs improvements on certain amenities such as: no electric plugs in the bathroom makes drying hair difficult, or should have mirror installed in bed room, no kitchen towels or tissue paper in the living room and kitchen area.
I ended up using bathroom hand towel to dry my hands, and I bought a pack of kitchen towels from convenience store to wipe down counter top.
Centrally located and hidden away just off the shopping district of Orchard road with god facilities plus an overhead link to Paragon Mall is very convinient

While the appliances, cutlery and crockery are perfect, it lacks kitchen towel for me to wipe up spills on induction plate or sink top after washing.
No instructions on how to use water dispenser, tv and telephone. It took me a long time to figure out how to call housekeeping.
Only reason I did not give 5 stars was that there were a few spots that needed to be cleaned up.

I was also having some issues with the dryer function in the washing machine as the water kept pooling inside.
For the ensuite bathroom, it would be nice to have handrails in the shower area as well as the toilet.
The air con and exhaust system was very noisy and did asked for assistance but nothing was done to improve.

Showers do not get hot, and there are technical problems with their wifi network making it difficult to connect to.
Great facilities including full gym with good equipment, large pool + spa + kids pool, small kids playground area.
Another problem was the door handler, not the first time it was loose and hope this can be improved.

If you travel with kids you can also find bigger play area on the 5th floor of the mall.
No bottled water is given, only a water filter that we are supposed to fill with tap water
Only detractors were the slight odor in the hallways and the lack of regulation of the AC.

There was mold growing on the shower head and some noticeable stains on the couch and headboard.
The link bridge to Paragon was very convenient and a huge selling point in choosing this place!
The hotel also has a guest residence lounge with coffee/tea facilities for after you check out.

The lobby is small and looks like there is very few services at this hotel.
Instructions as to how to link to the room wifi was not clear as well.
No bar, no sauna and steam room, a little bit pricy for long term stay.

They provide plates, bowl, oven and full set of cutlery which really convenient for us
Even after the maintenance came to fixed it, it had the same issue afterwards.
Residents lounge was a pleasant place to freshen up for late flight out.

This would have been very helpful for my husband who has restricted mobility.
The hotel was exceptionally clean and tidy, reflecting high standards of maintenance.
Great amenities and location and we’ll definitely stay here next time

It would be great if the kitchen had a microwave.
The facilities were beautiful, the place was absolutely spotless.
There is a connection bridge to siagon mall

Check-in / Check-out: What guests say
View Ascott Orchard Singapore27 relevant reviews
Check-in experiences are inconsistent: some guests report fast, friendly service, early check-in, and upgrades, but recurring complaints include curt or cold staff, long waits, inflexible early/late checkout policies, and costly early-arrival or upgrade charges. One guest’s ID was misplaced at reception, while another reported repeated failure to recognize loyalty benefits.

Felt blackmailed with the price quotes by the hotel for an early check in. Online price was 530 $, The check in staff refused to charge us anything lesser than 780 $. This despite me offering to book an additional room night for the same night online. So i was willing to pay approx 1100 for a night because of an early check in.
The excuse given by the hotel was that the staff member was new, however that dosnt give them the excuse of making me walk down the street to another property that was more accommodating at 5 30 in the morning with our bags after a night of no sleep and a long flight.
I upgraded my room on checkin . The checkin clerk overcharged me for the upgrade . he charged me double of what was being shown online on their website . Inspite of showing him the same , he did not agree .

Here I am thinking what if my ID was missing or if not, bigger possibility, I remembered it was totally not returned to me but front desk ladies kept saying they do not hold guests ID even without checking.
Pre arrival already badly executed on not able to identify ASR entitlement and wanted to impose a charge for late checkout till it was rectified through multiple attempts and indeed it was a mistake by their front desk
Same reply was given but this time, John kindly offered to check with the lady who checked me in by WA and stated he was waiting for her reply.

The day of my checkout, the team ordered my taxi at 4:45 a.m. and called my room at 4:30 to check if I needed help with the luggage.
We weren’t able to get a early check in or late check out as requested due to the Grand Prix but that would have made it absolutely perfect.
During check in, service rendered was so cold and doesn’t have the experience that will bring any guest to be looking forward to have a stay

Fast check-in: the lady understood very prompt that the kids are tired and just let us go to the room - thanks a lot for this!
They told me I would receive a WhatsApp when my room was ready, but I never got one and checked in at 5 PM.
Our check in was 27th morning around 9 o’clock but in that time to get room is very difficult, so booked it from 26th.

Our room ready at 4pm when we check in, but when we ask about late check out they only said 12pm check out time.
While check out the staff was very rude and not willing to extend our check out time even though rooms were available
The least they could have done is a little bit of extension for the customer to come back again to the property

Some time you have to extend the stay so you have to do the check out and wait for the check in
I checked in 3 days and all this 3 days I have to bear with the noisy sound especially 1sr day.
The flight arrived early (6 AM). They had a resident lounge but were not comfortable with the time to wait.

Few mins later, John rang our room and said my ID was found and it was on the scanner!
I requested for later check-out time, but got a definite and immediate no as they were fully booked.
This process took almost an hour as she had to call the sales department and GM for approval.

It was not upon few hrs later that I realise my ID was not returned to me.
The night shift lady picked up the phone and replied they do not keep any guests ID.
I noticed the difference in attitude of the front desk personnel upon checking me in.

Seems sexist, and was dismissive about it when I pointed it out at check in.
I was given a check in time at 2.30pm - 3pm.
Didn’t get any freebies this time upon check in.

Very poor check in service late at night.
There was no acknowledgment or apology given.
Waiting time for check in was long.

Pool: What guests say
View Ascott Orchard Singapore22 relevant reviews
Guests frequently praise the large, attractive, quiet and uncrowded pool, with a shallow section for children and excellent gym facilities. Recurring drawbacks include very few sunbeds and no pool bar or service. One review reports strong chlorine, claiming two guests became sick after swimming.

I and my guest got sick on New year itself while swimming in the pool on new year eve due to the extreme chlorine in pool.
Swimming pool only have 4 people and we get to have a lot of room to swin around.
Swimming pool is really nice and has a shallow part for the kids.

That I didn’t get to use the pool!! My own fault though.
A lovely and non crowded pool and gym for exercise.
No poll bar or service by the pool either.

The pool looked so inviting, but we couldn’t enjoy.
Pool area big and was able to swim laps.
The swimming pool was FILL with STRONG CHLORINE.

Very few sun benches by the pool.
Gym and swimming pool is world class.
Location, Swimming Pool and Gym were excellent.

I also love the swimming pool ❤️❤️
Pool good, not enough sun beds
We also loved the swimming pool.

Great pool and gym facilities too.
Large swimming pool & gym.
Lovely pool, jacuzzi and gym.

Infant friendly swimming pool.
Loved the pool !
We appreciated the pool.

Fantastic quiet pool.
Great pool.

Breakfast: What guests say
View Ascott Orchard Singapore14 relevant reviews
Breakfast is commonly not included, though Kith Cafe downstairs offers a reasonably priced alternative. Feedback is mixed: some guests praise the variety and convenience, while others find the buffet basic or average, with limited vegetarian choices. Several recommend ordering directly from the cafe or buying food elsewhere instead.

For the long stay more than one month i hope the do exception with the one and two bed room apartment there is no choise to add the breakfast
It is a little cafe downstairs and I do not recommend to take the buffet - rather buy just directly at the cafe.
The cafe next to ground level lobby was very nice, offers breakfast with reasonable price for hotel guests.

Or get what you need in the mall and have your breakfast in the room.
They provided daily breakfast with a good variety which was very convenient.
We did not take breakfast option, so cannot comment on that.

Would be nice if early room service breakfast could be offered.
Breakfast area food was reasonably priced but taste wise average.
However, there is a Kith cafe downstairs at level 1.

Can be more for the amount we are paying.
Good quality, varied, lovely chef and staff there too.
Maybe the breakfast spread at kith Cafe.

Breakfast was included which was very adequate.
But thats just my personal opinion.
Kith cafe menu provided in room.

Breakfast at Kit was included.
Their breakfast is very basic.
Not many vegetarian options.

Breakfast is not great.
No complementary breakfast,
Breakfast not included

Breakfast not provided.

A lovely and non crowded pool and gym for exercise.
Gym and swimming pool is world class.
Location, Swimming Pool and Gym were excellent.

Great pool and gym facilities too.
Lovely pool, jacuzzi and gym.
We appreciated the gym.

There is a gym.
Good gym.

If you stay for 2 nights, the $10 nett parking coupon purchased at the hotel front desk is definitely recommended (one time exit).
There's no complimentary parking available thus making short term stay longer than 2 weeks difficult for guests travelling with car.
Please dont park the wrong car park if you are driving there, there are 2 car park entrance.

There is car parking but it’s not owned by the hotel, so charges can be steep.
The fact that Ascott did not provide free parking for their paying guests.
We had to pay for parking daily according to their rates.

Pretty disappointing too this residence do not provide complimentary carpark.
If you’re driving, this hotel may not be suitable.
Recommend hotel to provide complimentary parking for guests

Need a nice cafe at the entrance lobby area - the existing one run separately from the Apartment is not the best
There is no bar either which is weird for a suppesedly 5 star hotel.
The hotel says there is a restaurant on property.

In-room dining comes from Keith Cafe.
Guest enjoy special rates.
There isn't one.

And Kith Cafe.
No restaurant,

Service is terrible, booked an airport transfer, no one sent driver details even though there is a working whatsapp group.
Guests can't speak English, standing around trying to find the car, messaged in the group but no one replied.
The garage/walkway access to Paragon is great because they have a lot of what one needs there including groceries.

Ended up having to book a car elsewhere despite having already paid for the ride.
They were very helpful getting us taxis for when we had further to go.
The link bridge to Paragon Mall is covered and convenient.
