Guests repeatedly praise Capella Singapore’s attentive, highly trained service, beautiful tropical setting, and peaceful atmosphere, describing it as a memorable place to relax or celebrate and often saying they would return. Some guests, however, felt the experience fell short of expectations and was difficult to justify at the high nightly rate.

I waited to stay here until I could find a relatively good rate (still expensive by any standard, only the Raffles is as consistently pricey), and felt like it was worth it, when you factor in things like the nice afternoon tea, free local transportation, etc.
You only realise all this is going on when you go down to the beach and take the (free) beach tram to travel along the south coast of the island (Which I recommend you do, particularly to Fort Silosi).
U have stayed at the Capella on numerous occasions (easily more than a dozen times over the years), and it never fails to disappoint in terms of an extremely relaxing, eco-friendly yet luxurious getaway.

This resort would be lovely to visit for lunch / diner but as staying guests, we were not made to feel any more special than those coming for a meal.
Years ago I visited Capella Singapore for my friend's birthday celebration at one of the villa, the experience was great and the villa was grant.
It is almost like 2 disjointed establishments have been bolted together and nobody has worked out how to properly integrate the offerings.

In fact, with our recommendation and experience, my niece will also be checking into Capella for her 21st birthday celebration too.
I was worried, given no kids club, that he/we might get bored but that wasn't the case at all.

But Capella, you have won our hearts and I hope readers will give this hotel a try.
Apart from the superb premises, it feels like Singapore Airlines crew is running a hotel.
This was not just a luxury stay, it was an emotional and unforgettable journey.

But then again there are lots of hotels that also have those attributes.
A deft mix of more historical buildings and new architecture, just beautiful.
Our family had a great 3 days stays at this fabulous hotel.

Service throughout the property was outstanding — warm, attentive, and effortless.
It is a place of warmth, elegance and outstanding hospitality.
This is one of the best staycation we have had.

Potentially one of the great hotels of the world
The hotel is a wonderful place to relax.
It is set up as a conference hotel.

It was wonderful holiday with family in Singapore.
So luxurious, such friendly and caring staff.
Best hotel in Singapore without a doubt

Thank you Capella for a lovely break.
Really recommend the hotel Capella Singapore.
Overall our stay was very comfortable.

Overall a pleasant staycation at Capella.
The best we've ever had.
This is a fantastic hotel.

Staff: What guests say
View Capella Singapore104 relevant reviews
Guests repeatedly praise warm, attentive, professional service from arrival through checkout, with staff often remembering preferences and proactively helping. Specific highlights include support for elderly guests using wheelchairs, thoughtful birthday and honeymoon touches, and care for pets. A few guests noted inconsistent service or accumulated lapses when the resort was near full occupancy.

Traveling with my octogenarian mother, I had reached out in advance to Loges of the bell team to reserve a wheelchair for my mother to use on property over the duration of our stay like we did last year, and Loges provided the reassurance we would enjoy a seamless arrival at Capella.
I had also reached out to the night manager regarding the set up of our favorite standard room, the same one we stayed last year, with which my mother would be familiar, and Khairul Daneal Muhammad Ng was most affable, gracious, and responsive in his follow-up.
Upon arrival at the Capella, we were welcomed by smiling, familiar faces, Ethan and Fandi of the Bell Concierge team and were ushered in where we were served refreshing welcome drinks by Alex and Raven (intern from Taiwan) who immediately went on to process our check-in.

Special thanks must go to Janice and Marie from Bob’s Bar; Liu & Red from Fiamma; Esther from Cassia; and Shida & Cherish from Auriga Spa for their dedication and assistance which elevated my overall experience at Capella Singapore.
From the housekeeping staff who anticipated our needs before we even mentioned them, to the concierge and culturists who went above and beyond to personalize our experience, to the spa team who provided world-class treatments, we were consistently impressed.
Restaurant manager Jason and his international team - Ying En,, Nelvin, Manish, Red, Melvin, Amy from Taiwan, Khine from Myanmar, Liu from China,, et al - welcomed us with such gusto,, truly the best breakfast welcome in Singapore!

The resort was running near full occupancy during our stay — something we fully anticipated — and while a degree of service strain is understandable, the lapses accumulated to a point where they noticeably affected the overall experience.
From my initial interactions from Erin who checked me in, to Boone assisting me with my luggage, to Emily in the Living Room lounge - everyone I encountered was joyful, helpful, eager to please hence making incredible impressions.
From the moment we arrived at the beautiful “white castle,” Bun warmly greeted and escorted us to the restaurant, while Grace, Shahie, and the Chef came by to check in and make sure we were comfortable.

A good example, is one of the staff, willing to bend down and remove the twig at my pet paw after he enjoy his run in the garden, while we are busy waiting for grab.
Not in the room when I arrived. Not a problem though as the staff delivered it swiftly when I called from the room to request for a copy of the paper.
Also, hats off to Roman, a member of management who helped me get my cellphone back after it slipped out of my pocket in one of the cabs.

Probably the most disturbing thing about breakfast each day was observing the manager dressed in brown, openly bully and berate his staff in front of guests.
Friendliest, most helpful staff we have ever encountered, just amazing, and that included everyone from front desk to pool staff to housekeepers to grounds staff.
We were especially impressed by Adoncia Kong, an incredibly friendly and helpful receptionist who made our whole stay so comfortable and restful.

It would be better if it was only one staff following up on the check-in and updating us on the process.
The problem is that the processes in place render this nice touch completely irrelevant, or worse: damaging the entire experience.
Staff was friendly, approachable and helpful at all levels of communication throughout and leading up to our stay.

The only slight weakness was sometimes the service, which is always the foundation of a truly world-class hotel.
To Ms Sophie for checking us in and bringing us to the room with a pleasant smile.
The staff are pleasant enough but clearly have no idea what luxury or intuitive service is.

Alvin stood out as a true star—he was engaging, warm, and made everyone feel comfortable.
The assistance and care shared by the team left us with memories of a lifetime.
The Host Sara treat us very nice and always have smile in her face.

Despite that, I love the service level that Capella staff had given to us.
The staff were very friendly and welcoming both on the phone and in person.
Thank you, Trina, Leia, Crystal, Cherilyn and Rens for making this so special!

A special mention to Indrus, Shahie & Arasu who spoilt us in Fiamma.
It was a great experience with the great services Capella Singapore provided.
His friendly and engaging personality made every session enjoyable and relaxed.

Rooms: What guests say
View Capella Singapore78 relevant reviews
Rooms and villas are often praised as spacious, spotless, comfortable and thoughtfully appointed, with standout sea or garden views, private pools and outdoor tubs. Some guests found villas dated or utilitarian, with disappointing outlooks; reported issues include faulty lighting, a misaligned door lock, ants, a flooding toilet and a nonworking outdoor shower. One guest also noted transparent bathroom doors with little privacy.

I was also surprised by the bathroom facilities — the WC was a conventional type with a cold seat and no bidet spray, which felt like a basic omission at this price point, especially when smart toilets are commonly seen in most hotels these days.
My advice is to stay in the more modern rooms (with views), not the garden villas - you pay extra but you can't rely on using the pool and the outdoor shower / bath has nearly a foot gap, for others to see in.
We were upgraded to the Sentosa Suite, which was a pleasant surprise :) the suite was also all set up with all required baby amenities - bottle sterilizer, baby bathtub and toiletries, a cot (with bumpers all nicely tied) and a high chair.

When I first went into my room, the sink in the toilet was filled with dirty water which was not drained from the sink and the bath tub was wet still from the previous guest’s usage.
I had also reached out to the night manager regarding the set up of our favorite standard room, the same one we stayed last year, with which my mother would be familiar.
The bottle sterilizer was very clean, the inside actually looked brand new with no limescale at all, which to me says a lot about the high standard of cleanliness and service.

I must first express my sincerest gratitude to Johanna Dlugosch, the Hotel Manager, and Kaung Set, the Assistant Manager, for their arrangements for my room upgrade to the One-Bedroom Villa.
Our constella room with sea view was what lead to us booking, but disappointed as our view was mostly blocked by the huge tree in front of our balcony.
The spotlight in the toilet and shower area often remains off despite attempts to adjust the controls, requiring us to walk to the master switch—sometimes inconveniently when undressed.

The room was spotless and cosy and everything was arranged according to details even down to the bottled water - yes, Capella arranged our bottled waters too!
After the cleaners were done, it was way beyond 3 pm and which I found it was a little too late to enjoy most of the stay
To his credit, Alex managed to get our regular room ready and Set assisted my mother and I as he accompanied us to the room.

I would conclude that it has once again reached (and actually surpassed) my expectations in terms of its room, quality of service, facilities and environment.
Always wanted to have a staycation there with my family and friends, so last month we decided to book a room for a birthday celebration.
The villa itself was stunning, impeccably maintained, and designed with such care that we felt both spoiled and at home at the same time.

The villas are some of the best we have ever stayed in and also maintained a sense of privacy and tranquility among the trees.
The rooms are dirty, my 2 year old boy run around in the house, coming in to bed with a dark and dusty feets.
I asked for chopped chicken n egg for my dog and they served a whole uncut breast meat n whole egg.

The room was indeed a spacious one with a big king-size bed and living room with an outside plunge-pool.
Loved the room, it was super comfortable, clean and especially the bed and enjoyed the outdoor tub.
Our room was serviced lovingly....seriously, the level of care and attention to detail was amazing.

The in room dining was terrible - pasta was undercooked, dry and tasted horrible.
The Toilet & Bathroom doors were transparent; I mean, there is no privacy.
I booked a one bedroom garden villa for a staycation on 25 nov.

We were offered a room to rest before our late afternoon flight.
We especially liked the water pressure in the large shower area.
The rooms are modern and with more than ample towels.

Room is impressively huge and offers a fantastic ocean view.
The "private" facilities of the room are not private.
The design is reminiscent of a military barracks.

Breakfast: What guests say
View Capella Singapore35 relevant reviews
Many guests praise breakfast at Fiamma for its excellent food, attentive staff, and standout dishes such as abalone noodle soup, dim sum, and eggs Benedict; some also note changing daily options and broad choice. Experiences vary: other guests found the buffet limited or average, and reported queues, crowded service, and restrictions on ordering menu items.

During the Lunar New Year period lasting for two weeks until the first full moon of the horse year next week, the breakfast buffet also features a specially curated Chinese buffet with 8 treasure congee, dried scallop congee, Nor Mai Gai (chicken glutinous rice wrapped in lotus leaf), Tea Braised Hard Boiled Egg, amongst others.
One of the three most wonderful breakfasts I have been blessed to experience in my life (Ikos in Korfu, Pearl Hyatt Abu Dhabi, Mauna Kea a long time ago) with almost eveything from the buffet plus 26 things from the menu such as onsen eggs, crushed avocado toasts and Benedicts.
Every time we return to a particular hotel, we always look forward to seeing familiar faces and this wish was wholeheartedly fulfilled when we went down to breakfast the next morning - a dark and rainy one - to Fiamma at 07:00 am.

We also had the pleasure of meeting the Junior Sous Chef in charge of breakfast,, Chef Kelvin Lim whose breakfast creations were even more impressive than the ones we enjoyed last year.
The team couldn't be more helpful and service-minded - we particularly remember Manish from last year and he still pulls double duty at Fiamma breakfast and at the pool.
The quality of food we had during our stay was excellent, from tea at the Living Room to our dinner at Bob's Bar to our breakfast at Fiamma.

As if that wasn't enough, during tea time, we were greeted by a grinning staff who delivered local snacks and a bottle of red wine.
Breakfast was decent, with a reasonable menu selection, but the buffet spread itself lacked variety and didn’t stand out compared to other luxury hotels.
The menu selections included The Chairman's Indulgence which featured Onsen Egg surrounded by king crab, uni, and caviar making it a Happy Onsen Egg.

We also tried the Braised Abalone Noodle Soup and the broth was just spectacular! So beautifully seasoned and umami, perfect for this rainy morning.
The food was of exceptional quality and beautifully presented — particularly the dim sum, chicken curry, and abalone noodle soup, which were absolute highlights.
A simple request for sliced papaya, for example, was declined, and the entire spread felt more like cost containment than a luxury offering.

Not very classy or welcoming ..and by the way, if I want another egg…for $2000 a night you could probably provide one!
Chef Kelvin Lim also presented us with a bowl of specially cut up Thai mango and berries which we greatly appreciated.
This time,, he brought us a specially curated bowl of cut up red pittaya dragon fruit which was most delectable.

We queued for a table — something that should never happen at a Capella — and personalization was virtually absent.
Special thanks to Canny, Red, Melvin, Sam, Christina, Manish, Fast, and Chef Stephen for making our breakfast truly memorable.
Since we stayed for six nights we noticed the breakfast options changed from day to day which was great.

It was an absolute delight to see Okra (ladyfinger/bindi), my absolute favorite vegetable, featured on the chef's counter.
The only feedback is that the prices of the food are a little too pricey especially for breakfast.
It was crowded and the staff were too busy to take control of serving and used dishes.

The buffet breakfast at the Knolls was very good with a range of food from various cuisines.
Breakfast was so delicious as was the food in the other two restaurants at the hotel!
Breakfast was the weakest moment: limited variety, underwhelming flavors, and service that fell short of expectations.

Breakfast; a very passable average offering (for a 4 star Marriott or similar).
Breakfast, which was included in our rate, was really good and varied.
It comprises a typical buffet and a selection of menu items.

The morning team was warm, cheerful, and impressively attentive.
There was always something new to try for breakfast.
Remember to get the roti prata!

Capella’s lush, quiet setting beside Palawan Beach is repeatedly praised as a relaxing escape, with beach access in a few minutes and Sentosa attractions nearby. It is outside central Singapore, making it less convenient for a first city-focused visit, though one guest reported a roughly 20-minute ride. Some sea views face merchant ships, and aircraft pass overhead.

Certainly, the sea view is not what one might imagine since the structure is located on Sentosa Island; this means it overlooks a stretch of sea that is used for the anchoring of merchant ships awaiting entry into the port of Singapore.
You can walk to the beach in 3 min , maybe 5 , depending on room location, beach is nice but not serviced- there is a really nice looking beach club but that was adults only.
We took the cable car up to Mount Faber and, even on a really steamy day, it was very nice to walk up there, beautiful views of the city and some interesting architecture to see.

In keeping with the military theme (and if that’s your thing), you will no doubt be happy to sit by the pool and count at least 50 aircraft per day fly directly overhead.
The position is amazing , completely warped in the most amazing nature , ten mins away from Marina Bay overlooking the sea it’s the most amazing place in the world
Walking out onto your balcony with a picture perfect view of the beach and being surrounded by nature and birds was a wonderful welcome not easily found in Singapore.

I was worried that Sentosa island might be touristy or just kind of junky, since there are amusement parks and things like that. It's not. Really quite lovely.
The location close to the entrance of the island, easy access to the beach and 10 minutes away from the CBD makes it very convenient.
The location of the hotel was superb as it was quiet and away from the main hustle and bustle of the rest of Sentosa island.

This is not the place to stay during a first visit to Singapore. It's just too far out of the core of the city.
We did go to local restaurants on a few occasions and when arranging taxi’s the doormen were clueless as to where the restaurants were.
It is also very close to the beach (if you go from the door, which is near the tennis court & kids play area).

We woke up each day to birdsong and gentle insect chirps at this wonderfully quiet hotel, surrounded by flowers and greenery.
So if you want to get away from the city, wanting to take good rest and relax, I recommend this hotel.
Wonderful experience staying at Capella Sentosa, an amazing escape from the hustle and bustle of Singapore just mere minutes away.

The extensive gardens and outdoor terraces provide the sunlight and open ambience that helps so much with "jetleg" adjustment.
We were totally relaxed and left all our cares back on the main island during our stay there.
The resort's location is excellent: close to the Universal Studios Theme Park, the Oceanarium, and the Waterpark.

Nothing they can do about this, but worth noting that it is under the military flight path.
Magical location - perfect for resting up, sipping green tea in the afternoon, great wines at night.
While not in the city center, it’s only a 20min grab ride and a perfect hideaway.

Beautiful location, sitting on the edge of Palawan beach and surrounded by rich vegetation and greenery.
Capella Singapore continues to be our first choice whenever we book a stay in town.
The location is not bad, close to the beach and all the points of interest.

It just feels you are entirely away and out of Singapore in a resort.
I could have spent a few more days on the island without getting bored.
On a positive note, I really appreciated the direct access to Palawan Beach.

Overall, the hotel is in a good location.
The Palawan Brach is just mins away!
Green luxurious resort by the sea

Facilities: What guests say
View Capella Singapore34 relevant reviews
Guests frequently praise the lush, peaceful grounds, attractive design, pools, restaurants, and well-equipped rooms; the Living Room library and afternoon tea are notable touches. Families and pet owners mention thoughtful amenities and beach access. However, several reviews report aging facilities and maintenance problems, including a leaking shower, drainage and sewage odors, cold jacuzzi, worn towels, and slow service.

Repeated requests to the front desk didn’t get this sorted during our stay nor was there really any appropriate reaction indicating an understanding of why this would be a problem and not something a guest should expect to endure for the duration of their stay.
When the shower finally drained, there was a strong sewage smell in both the shower and the rest of the bathroom which lingered in the room and was very off putting.
The room was clean but the shower didn’t drain and, after 2 minutes of showering, would be full to the brim and spilling over on to the bathroom floor.

This leads to a very relaxing stay where you have a sense of calm and privacy where you can enjoy the amazing pools, restaurants and facilities.
We always love staying at the Capella but were disappointed with our recent stay and didn’t find the facilities and maintenance up to the usual standard.
I would conclude that it has once again reached (and actually surpassed) my expectations in terms of its room, quality of service, facilities and environment.

The jacuzzi was also ice cold (which may be how it is intended to be in the Singapore heat but wasn’t what we expected!)
The sound of their crowing at dawn and the sight of their majestic plumes make a stay at Capella SG very special indeed!
The first 2 had no idea how to do this and had to chase the 1 'manager' who can provide this.

The afternoon tea served at the Living Room is a must try and a calming way to spend the afternoon.
The structure itself looks a bit like a barracks and is not integrated with nature, I'm referring to the exterior.
We didn't even know there is a complimentary tea place that we can have coffee and snack in the library.

Capella’s pet-friendly amenities were fantastic, with easy access to the beach and plenty of thoughtful touches for furry guests.
We arrived to find the maintenance panel beside the jacuzzi open with tools and a dirty cloth splayed out.
The design is beautiful with an appealing balance of heritage and contemporary showcasing a wonderful selection of facilities.

Although F&B services were off limits we were still able to enjoy the pools and spa for massage.
Facilities are great, with snacks and drinks available at their living room which is accessible to all guest.
The whole resort needs maintenance and is showing its age (our indoor shower leaked into the outdoor shower).

Sitting around the main pool is pleasant but once again do not expect 5 star service.
The attention to detail is next level at Capella Sentosa and a stay here never disappoints
The lush grounds and the serene atmosphere created the perfect backdrop for our family holiday.

We were able to dine (al fresco) with our chihuahua at Bob's Bar and Fiamma.
Some infrastructure need to be maintained, e.g the plug at bathroom area is not working.
The towels for the sunbed were frayed, there’re cigarette burnt marks on the sun bed.

Thoughtful amenities for our young child, including bath salts, coloring books, and pencils
It took 3 people to bring us a simple account to sign off.
For this class of hotel, I would expect more punctual and professional service.

Design ….furnitures … pools and a the kindness of the whole team
More about the hotel facilities were uploaded in the “Updates” section.
From breakfast, to the pool, and in our stunning room.

Fiamma is repeatedly praised for excellent Italian food, especially its pasta, pizza, meatballs and tiramisu, alongside attentive service. Cassia is also a standout for Chinese food and special-occasion dining, though service attention reportedly dipped during one dinner and the room was noisy with children. Bob’s Bar earns praise for strong drinks and fried food; hotel dining is expensive, and halal options were requested.

The menu was agreed a few months in advance and they took very good care of me with three course lunches and dinners and lots of different options for breakfast so I didn't feel left out.
Their Italian and Chinese restaurants are now pet-friendly so that we could bring our small dog with us for breakfast and dinner at the outdoor terrace seats and this is definitely a plus point.
At fiamma we had a wonderful dinner and were served by the capable staff who ensured that we had the best dinner experience - pastas were delicious and hospitality was through the roof!

Dinner time in fiamma Mami and Ross send the birthday cake to me whatever I didn’t mention my birthday that was very kind and I feel so surprise!
The Wagyu T-bone steak, the Tartufo pizza, the seafood pasta, the Polpette meat balls and the “blow your mind” Tiramisu makes every dinner an unforgettable experience.
A huge thank you to Vinci Bartol, Kumar, Bastian, Chef Antonio, and Chef Lim for making this such a special occasion for my mom and I.

We found ourselves having to pour our own tea, request hot water refills, and noticed only one staff member covering the entire main dining area.
At dinner last night at Cassia, we were very grateful to be assigned the private dining room, which was a lovely gesture.
I especially remember the Polpette—tender meatballs brimming with herbs and spices, served with a rich, flavorful sauce—a taste sensation I'll long remember.

Nice Bar, We tried the Chinese restaurant (very good but very Chinese for a European 16 year old, I loved it).
The Pineapple Room is a lovely new addition to Capella Sentosa offering evening drinks and delicious snacks with attentive bar staff
The dining experience at Fiamma is outstanding with flavourful food, we wanted to try the entire menu, and intuitive service.

They even prepared a small cake for my Daughter when they heard of our reason for stay at the Capella.
We were very happy that we had dinner there instead of going to the Resort World Sentosa.
The spread was absolutely delightful and beautifully presented, featuring festive treats like stollen and cinnamon star cookies.

We had our dinner at Fiamma which had great Italian fare and we thoroughly enjoyed the pastas.
Dining at Fiamma was another highlight! The food was absolutely delicious, with every dish crafted to perfection.
Not a big issue but we had dinner at Cassia and there were lots of young children.

The Award winning Cassia restaurant is well deserved with a superb customer service from Anthony in Cassia.
One nice dinner plus all our morning breakfast were at Fiamma AND two dinners at Cassia!!!
Restaurants are expensive and we had to ask for children's menus - they were never offered.

The go to place in Singapore for amazing Italian food and great service is FIAMMA.
Bob’s Bar seemed casual but drinks were nice and strong and the fried food amazing.
We went to Capella for our wedding anniversary and to have a break from children!

Besides the buffet breakfast, the Chinese restaurant Cassia and Bob’s Bar are good too.
The food was delicious, and we highly recommend trying the Seafood Hokkien Mee!
Cassia’s food was amazing we really enjoyed my mother’s birthday dinner there.

Price for food and drinks but thats pretty standard across Singapore hotels.
The pet-friendliness and both the Italian and Chinese restaurants were excellent.
Now their outdoor seatings at restaurants are pets friendly too !

Check-in / Check-out: What guests say
View Capella Singapore22 relevant reviews
Check-in was often described as smooth and efficient, aided by online pre-arrival arrangements, friendly staff, and welcome drinks. Experiences were not uniformly seamless: some guests faced late room readiness or check-in, and checkout was sometimes slow or messy, particularly during Chinese New Year. Guests also noted thoughtful touches such as flowers and a small tent-house for an infant.

First day when I arrive lobby a lot of guest waiting for check in,I think I will waiting for a long time in that moment, but the front desk stuff very fast tell us every information and send us welcome drink.
Always responsive, I discovered that I’d booked a wrong room type a week before the stay and was able to get it changed via WhatsApp with the Digital Concierge, a new service that continued to support throughout my stay.
After checking in , they send us to the room , we have 8 people squeezed in a 6 seated buggy whereas their staff have her own buggy following us.

After the cleaners were done, it was way beyond 3 pm and which I found it was a little too late to enjoy most of the stay
With children around, it was tough to ask for another villa and relocate everyone hence we did not bring it up to management.
And she even forgot to give us the door key, so we have to stay outside the door to wait for her arrival.

The deduction of the 0.2 was the check out experience (a bit mess, maybe due to the high season of CNY).
From booking onwards, there is effort to reach out and support with reservations at the spa and restaurants and curated experiences.
When we were told that the villa was ready, we were shocked to find out the cleaners were still cleaning!

2nd day house keeping left us with no room slippers nor toilet roll, had to call and ask for it.
We checked in on Valentine’s Day and were greeted with beautiful flowers, which was such a lovely surprise.
They serve drinks and biscuits while we waited for the check in process comfortably at the waiting area.

Check-in was smooth as there seemed to be few guests around (possibly because it was a weekday).
The concierge at the font desk provided a positive touch point with seamless and friendly check-in process.
Due to some unknown issue, we had a late check-in and the process could be handled better.

The check-in process was smooth and efficient as I was contacted beforehand to do pre-check in.
We are able to immediately shift to relaxation mode the minute we check in.
Check in and out experience was so smooth with the pre arrival process online.

The next day, we also received a thoughtful small gift from the hotel.
The seamless prearrival and checkout makes it very easy n good privacy.
While doing the check/in, I told them about the birthday celebration.

Check in is efficient but check out is a bit slow.
Checking out via the online platform was smooth and hassle-free.
They even made a small Tent-house for my infant kid.

We checked in our room at 1200 noon.
The pre check in process was done seamlessly.
Though they were unable to extend check out.

Allowed for a smooth check-in
The check-in process was seamless.
Check-in was late

Pool: What guests say
View Capella Singapore20 relevant reviews
Guests frequently praise the beautiful, spacious pools, with several noting that the resort has three and that they are not crowded; the lap pool is quieter. The private plunge pools are a recurring drawback: they can be too small for swimming and may contain leaves or insects. Families also report limited child-friendly pool access, and the 7 p.m. closing time feels early.

The only glitch is that we were unable to use the dip pool at the villa bec there were lots of dry leaves and hence we were not comfortable with the cleanliness of the pool.
When we arrived, the garden bed was overgrown and our pool was full of leaves and branches and not usuable - we were left wondering when it was last maintained....
The plunge pool, while beautiful in photos, was too small to be functional and was often filled with fallen leaves due to the surrounding greenery.

Lovely Pools, one with kids, one without, one 25 m rectangular pool with only two loungers that we managed to snatch for a few hours.
There are two other pools with min age 16 years which is crazy as most teenagers are noisier than some younger ones.
The only complain is that the only pool which children are allowed to use is small for a hotel of such size.

It wasn’t large enough for a proper swim, yet not designed like a jacuzzi either — essentially just a dipping pool.
We had initially planned to use it, but the presence of insects and leaves in the water made it unappealing.
The ONE family pool at the resort was closed (for adult scuba class) and thus no pool to use.

We also managed to have a dip in the pool with our son before checking out.
The resort is very big (on a 30 acrs land) with 3 pools.
The pools are very nice, completely immersed in the tropical forest.

We found a spot at the pool easily for instance.
My favorite is the lap pool which is quieter.
Plunge pool would be nicer if a bit bigger.

The tropical pool loungers (so comfortable!) and pools
The pools that had enough space for everybody
The entire property expansive with three pools.

Pool closing at 19 is too early!
The private pool was another letdown.
You can enjoy the amazing pools.

My toddlers loved it though.
My children enjoyed the pool.
We loved the pools.

The pool was great.
Pools are beautiful.
Pools are stunning

Not crowded

Spa: What guests say
View Capella Singapore10 relevant reviews
Spa experiences were often enjoyable, with a calm, attractive setting, friendly service, and praise for treatments and therapist Grace. Some guests found treatments underwhelming or a massage poor value; one reported a significant price overcharge. Facilities were described as limited, with no sauna, and the outdoor jacuzzi could get wet in the rain.

We also enjoyed our time at the Auriga Spa and for the first time, managed to come an hour earlier to use the water treatments!
But they over-charged me significantly and told me later it was in the fine print - they could change the price at any time.
The spa facilities were particularly disappointing — no sauna, and only limited amenities such as a steam room, hot pool, and mist rooms.

I also had a chance to revisit the Auriga Spa, and spa manager Kimberly and her assistant, Ernita, were most hospitable and kind.
The atmosphere was calm, soothing and beautifully designed, making it a perfect place for couples to unwind and reconnect during a honeymoon stay.
A strange and rather mean approach for a hotel where everything else was so focused on perfection.

However, due to the lack of cover, rain can enter both the outdoor jacuzzi and sofa area.
Many hotels in Singapore at a much lower price point offer far more comprehensive spa experiences.
While the massage was satisfactory, it didn’t justify the high price.

Grace, the therapist at the spa, has excellent and professional techniques.
I'll definitely come back to her for a massage next time.
Our spa experience was enjoyable, with good treatments and friendly service.

Aligning with such touches would elevate the experience further.
At Auriga Spa, the experience was equally lovely.
The hotel service and environment are absolutely fantastic.

Spa is something I would highly recommend here.
I had a great massage in the spa.
However, the welcome experience could be enhanced.

The spa treatments seemed a little underwhelming.
I also tried the Auriga Spa.
Wishing for a cleaner jacuzzi

Hotel offers a free shuttle to Universal Studios and the nearest mall (whichis the best unless you are looking for super high end, this is good shopping on medium budget, no Balenciaga and Louis Vuitton).
When we checked in we were told about the "grab" app for hailing a taxi which we took every day to experience other parts of Singapore.
The hotel only offers shuttle bus in the morning until 1:30pm to resort world and only 2 shuttle bus coming back from resort world.

It would be great if the shuttle bus to and from vivo center could operate for 1 or 2 hours longer.
The hotel runs a shuttle service to RWS, like many other hotels in Sentosa (please check the shuttle bus timings).
It is really inconvenient , we need to take taxI everytime.

The taxis arrived really fast, 1-3 minutes in most cases.
It was much better than Uber in the USA.
The shuttle bus service from Vivocity was convenient.

Transportation bus is very convenient.
