I would have at the very least expected to be on a higher floor or had more of a view from the swimming pool area.

This is our second time in this hotel this month, same room category, but this time we had a noticeably better room.

The price was very good for the high quality of the premises and staff all the facilities of a 5star hotel

The lounge was a cool oasis after a day outside, and always well stocked with light snacks and fruits.

We have currently stayed at Cape House for almost two weeks and we have had an excellent experience.

Everything! hospitality, breakfast, the bed, pool & gym and besides all that: the friendly and helpful staff.

Great to maybe have either orange or apple juice, and not just coffee, tea and water.

I will come back in Thailand for Songkran and will stay in the same hotel.

An excellent stay and a place I would easily return too in the future.

The hotel is located on one of the most recent areas in Bangkok at a decent distance from the old town, at a walking distance from the best shopping areas in town and not so far from the very nice neighbour of Sukhumvit.

In general, opinions differ from person to person; the hotel is not bad, good for its location and price.. but it needs renovation to be at the level of 5 stars as mentioned, I give it 3 stars..

We stayed as a family of four, and the rooms were very spacious with two bedrooms and a dining room with a kitchen and washing machine, so much that we couldn't fully use all the space.

1- Its not at all 5 stars hotel. I don’t know why booking.com is giving misleading information to customers so guests can book the property thinking its 5 stars

Although you wouldn't say it at the outside, but when you enter the hotel there is a very warm welcome and a splendid service and hospitality waiting for you.

Although the hotel is located close to the most important neighbours in Bangkok, this neighbour does not provide you with many options to have dinner or to have a drink at night and the hotel also does not cover for this.

The area is always congested with traffic. Calling a taxi takes a long time. But if you're okay with riding a tuk-tuk or a bike, there won't be any problems.)

Within the main attraction place, walking distance to centralworld, Erawan shrine and a few stations away to Siam center, Emsphere, PhayaThai (transit to Airport Rail Link)

The location is excellent, away from the noisy street, 10 minutes to Central World, 12 minutes to Siam Paragon, about 15 minutes to Lumpini Park.

There is a wonderful shopping center, Icon Siam, in Bangkok now. You should stay near it. There is nothing to do at Central.

It takes about 3 minutes to walk to Chiayi Station, and there are three 7-11 stores nearby that are great for browsing.

The truly convenient location near the skytrain and a small shopping center where you can find both restaurants and other goods.

Walking distance to the bts (although some may find it far…) was also a 15-20 min walk to siam area!

Sometimes there are sounds from cars at night, but it's normal since we are on a busy street

Hotel is situated about 400-500m from the Ratchaprasong Skywalk which lead us to Central World, Platinum, Paragon, etc.

Many small cosy cafes & resturants, mini marts along the Soi Langsuan where the hotel is located.

The location of this hotel was fantastic, it was walking distance to all the popular attractions.

Still a walking distance to platinium mall and central world...if too tired just take a tutu

Right across the street, there is a 711 and a Super Rich (for exchanging money).

From real experience, I had a trip of 3 km that took 24 minutes.

It was very central, clean, and the apartment was a good size for us,

2 convenience (7Eleven) stores across the property, massage & eateries along Soi Langsuan.

A beautiful hotel well located in Bangkok, near shopping centers via the walkways.

The location is great , grocery and restaurants are all nearby.

The place is nice, safe, and private with rooms. It has a washing machine and a full kitchen, and it is right in front of a supermarket that has all the necessary items, but it is far from the malls; you need a tuk-tuk or a car, which is about 15 minutes, maybe less. Overall, the place is excellent for those who love quiet away from noise.

Watch out for taxi scammers, they dont call taxi companys, they get an employe to get them off the street, just make sure the drivers have meters on, they will try to give u a price for the trip thats much more then the meter price.

According to reality and the truth, a distinguished hotel in everything, starting from the kindness of its staff and ending with its cleanliness and location close to major markets such as Center World and on the beautiful and clean Longston Street.

Close to everything and in a great location, all the important and big markets like MBK and Platinum are a 15-minute walk away, Lumpini Park is right next to you, across from 7-Eleven and next to it is Starbucks.

Highly recommend especially if you feel confident to use the sky train and mrt as once you know work that out, travelling in and out of main bankok is very easy and cheap, plus a lot cooler.

Had 3 nights here, booked direct for best deal, had a 1 bedroom apartment, lovely and clean and well appointed, maybe too well appointed as a lot of seats, 4 seats around dining room table just made place feel crowded.

We booked a studio apartment and were given an upgrade but it was a cramped one bed suite - three doors opening onto one another and far too much furniture in them.

The beds are very hard, and even though the room is on the 5th floor, the window couldn't be opened; I wanted to point this out as well.

It reminds me of an old prostitute who was very beautiful in her youth but has severely worn out, and cannot come to terms with it.

While some may comment that the property is not brand new, I feel that its classic elegance and well-kept facilities add to its charm.

Our room contained a lot of unnecessary stuff which made it feel cluttered eg dressing table, big lounge furniture, wooden rack, glass shelving.

The room is very spacious and comfortable; the only downside is that the sink in the small kitchen is a bit clogged.

It looks like an appartments (2 room, big bathroom, small kitchen with microwave, washmashine, big freezer, stove, full set of dishes)

When booking for 3 adults, the room size was the same as for 2 people but the price was higher

Our room had no veranda, but the room itself was beautiful well equipped and I didn’t have any complaints

Carpet had excess of cotton around the corners which got my kids sneezing every time we enter the room.

Also they have a long bathtub which can fit at least 2 asian ppl or 3-4 small kids.

The room furniture is old and the pictures of the rooms on the site are different from reality.

We stayed in a suite which was spacious and comfortable and included lounge access which was enjoyable.

Could have used more utensils in the kitchen, although I’m pretty sure these could be made available.

The room was spacious for the 2 of us and had all the amenities we required.

We took a room with an executive Lounge, which basically has nothing, just fruits and pastries.

Luxury hotel, spacious and well-equipped suites, and they even upgraded us to a better suite.

Bed is comfortable and room is spacious with a kitchen area with washing machine too.

I stayed in the executive suite but even with that, amenities supply was not constant;

Big downside regarding the cleanliness of the room, which is only superficially cleaned.

If I had to point out something, it would be that the shower and bathtub are separate, and the shower is tank-type, which means I couldn't use hot water as much as I wanted. Because the amount of hot water that can be supplied at once is limited, it was a bit disappointing that the water became lukewarm for the second family member who took a shower.

There was a musty smell coming from the air conditioner, and to get rid of that smell, I had to lower the temperature below 23 degrees. It won’t be a problem for those who like cool temperatures, but it may be uncomfortable for people who need to stay warm while sleeping.

I liked the cleanliness of the place, and the room is spacious and comfortable. Everything is available in it, including a washing machine, fridge, cooking utensils for those who like to cook, a shoe rack, and a dining table, and there is a bidet in the bathroom.

The regular rooms were tiny with almost no windows and we were switched to an efficiency room as a result of the bug , which had a terrible odour and we found a dirty sock in the garbage in the room we got switched to.

For us the bed was rather too firm (felt like you were sleeping on the floor for the first couple of nights until the body kinda got used.., if you love a firm (hard) mattress you will love it, for us not so much..

Compliment to staff Yok, Palmy and the guy in No.43 restaurant (sorry did not get his name) who are very professional and patient in their job assisting the hotel guests.

Otherwise the staff were not very pleasant which was disappointing because generally the staff and Thai people are wonderful.

I highly recommend this hotel of very good quality with attention to all the needs of the clients

Only the first staff member (older lady) at check-in was very stern, without smile and abrupt.

You wouldn't see any staff but as soon as u need something they were available.

Would think that a 5 star hotel would care more for their customers and try to keep them safe from these kinds of tourist scams, as the other 5 star hotels took extra steps to give us professional guides were this wouldnt be an issue.

We were warmly greeted and looked after by the concierge who was absolutely excellent (sadly didn’t catch his name) he is a real credit to the hotel, acknowledging our previous links to the Cape group and making our stay really personal.

All the staff members were very kind. I was worried about the service because I had a toddler with me, but they always responded cheerfully and kindly, starting from the reception and in the restaurant and throughout the hotel.

When I asked the next day at 09:52 AM when and where breakfast was, he looked provocatively at his watch to then tell me that it was in the next room and that breakfast was available until 10:00 AM.

I'd say the best thing is you could walk around the hotel, go for breakfasr theb swim, spa go for tea and you wouldn't see any staff but as soon as u need something they were available, it felt very free to do as you please.

Regarding breakfast, even though I paid for it, I couldn’t eat because of the type of food. I hope they change some items to be more international, like increasing the variety and quantity of cheeses and olives. The focus was on Asian food.

I was asked to pay an amount for my daughter for breakfast even though I explained to them that she would only go for breakfast one day due to my travel to Phuket, but they insisted on paying for two days

Before the pandemic, when staying at this hotel, the staff would not only show you to your seat but also promptly bring coffee or tea. However, this time unless requested, there was no coffee.

We thought that the breakfast probably wasn't as good this time as it used to be, but there were a lot of options for western/asian breakfast and the fresh omelettes are always good.

The breakfast menu seems to stay the same every day, so if you're staying longer than a weekend, you might find the lack of variety a bit dull.

They arranged everything for us in the morning when we left for the airport, even the breakfast, which was placed in a special package.

The breakfast is considered good in terms of a mix of local and western food and for what room rate you pay for.

Otherwise, the breakfast is good, and there is the option to order fresh fruit juice for an additional charge.

Positive aspects of breakfast was live station for egg/omelette, bread counter, juice and small fruit counters.

We ate very little at breakfast overall since it did not offer quite what we wanted.

The only downside was that breakfast was a bit boring, but overall it was fine.

I’ve stayed here numerous times, but still u have more PORK than anything else.

They packed him breakfast the next day when he was unable to come down.

Croissants was a good quality and very tasty, same as other food though.

It would be better if local specialties were included to add variety.

I'm not sure if anyone else has mentioned this but there is a large ice chest for residents to help themselves just outside the executive lounge - very much appreciated on those hot Bangkok days!

The only negative thing I can think of is that make it could do with a fresh coat of paint around the hotel, and possibly an iron to use would of been great.

The location of the hotel is excellent and close to everything, and the best part is that it has a cold air conditioner and a bidet in the bathroom.

For those with a sweet tooth: a refrigerator with desserts at the entrance!!! (awesome éclairs;), by the way, in the evening, all this could be bought at a discount.

“executive lounge access” was not worth having - the only drinks they served were water, tea and coffee (all of which were available in my apartment anyway).

The hotel has a pleasant size: not a huge hotel, everything is still manageable, but with all the services of a large hotel.

Cleanliness was excellent and facilities were adequate (although a few more loungers instead of chairs at the pool would have been appreciated).

We were told that this was because of the ‘Covid 19’ situation but the pool at our condo in Bangkok is open and there was a sign in the life saying that the pool was closed due to renovation.

No control over the pool we were there just when it was about to close and a big group of Thais came in and took over- we had to watch our stuff and left soon after.

Jacuzzi, Sauna, and Steam are not ready for use, whenever I used, I had to ask to prepare these facilities and had to wait for the staff who is never there.

The rooftop pool and jacuzzi were great for enjoying in the morning, and I was surprised to find various gym equipment and a designated area for yoga.

The pool had a heated jacuzzi and it was nice that the kids could enjoy it from the morning before it got too hot.

Very minor complaint about sunbathing area - very limited but didn't spoil our overall enjoyment as not many people using the pool etc.

Likewise, the pool has a fairly large jacuzzi, they provide towels for the pool so you don't have to bring your own.

A small but pleasant pool, or even two pools: one with cool water for swimming and the second warm with a hydromassage.

During the day you can swim in the pool and relax in the lounge with snacks and non-alcoholic drinks.

Nice pool as well and we were allowed in the executive lounge where there were also tasty snacks.

The pool area could be better maintained and some light bulbs replaced in the rooms for brighter lighting.

The day before check-out, I asked the hotel to help book a taxi to the airport for 5:20 AM. The evening staff may not have communicated well, as when I arrived at the lobby at 5:20, the front desk staff only then helped me call a taxi, leading to a 20-minute wait. Although I had allowed extra time, it was still quite stressful.

On the last day i got food poisoning so next day on chdck out my husband informed the hotel and asked if we could check out a little later so i could rest they didn't seem to care at all, refused and gave 45 mins to checkout.

First, we got there at 7 am, and it was way too early to check in, but they gave us access to the fitness center and lounge, so we showered, relaxed a bit and were on our way to explore.

When I arrived the guy at the reception told me that the room had not been paid for when it had already been charged to the card and that one of the hotel's policies is to charge before my arrival

We arrived at the hotel early in the morning, and since check-in was at 14:00, we just had our luggage stored. They kindly offered that we could use the lounge at that time, which was very considerate of them.

On the last day, we planned to play all day and return home on a late-night flight. Check-out was at 12:00, but it was a great help that they let us store our luggage even after check-out.

Since we arrived at 8 AM, we were tired even though we had traveled business class from France, and we had to wait 6 hours... we went out, time flies but the tiredness remains.

Waited an hour and called again to check on it and they forgot my order so i waited another 30 min and had too call again untill it finally arrived 15 min later.

We had an early arrival and the room was not ready yet; however, we were granted access to the lounge which was a nice way to refresh after a long flight.

We checked out at 12 o'clock, and since our flight was late in the evening, we were allowed to use the lounge and pool for the entire rest of the day.

We checked out at 2am to catch a flight, informing reception the evening before and they kindly prepared breakfast boxes for us for our early departure, I really nice touch.

The person who checked us in had very poor English and was quite racist, asking us loads of questions about why we were in Thailand (I work and live here...).

We had an issue with one of the check in staff- the manager resolved the same and gave us a room upgrade which was a nice touch.

Also, check-out was at 12 PM, but they held my luggage until the evening, and I was allowed to use the lounge for snacks free of charge.

The only negative point is that you cannot check in before 2:00 PM and check out after 12:00 PM, even if you pay for it.

The receptionist wanted to charge me again so I had to go to a nearby hotel given the lack of information about this person

We were not allowed to extend our checkout time, and the last allowed time was 1 PM, despite our flight being at 8 PM

They make you wait until check-in time (which means if you arrive before 2 PM, you won't be able to enter the room).

It would have been great to check in early, but I understand that you can't ask for something that is stated as such.

On check out day, we had a late flight and we were able to relax in the lounge before heading to the airport.

They were even very accommodating to us in giving late check out as we have a very late flight in the evening.

The front desk is 24 hours~ I was able to check in smoothly even at 2 AM upon arrival at the hotel.

They allowed me for a late check-out and also lounge access afterwards check-out, so that I can wait in the hotel.

Check-in was at 2 PM, but they were able to hold my luggage even though I arrived early in the morning.

Access to the lounge, pool and gym all day and evening after check-out since our flight was at midnight.

We check in late and leave early, so we do not have much time to explore.

We were quoted 2 500 bath. A pre booked Grab cost less than 700.

After check out they let us use the lounge and fitness area.

The check out staff were lovely and a lot more accommodating.

Everything went well, started from checking in until checking out.

This is only a small restaurant with limited food options - though it claims to serve Italian and Thai food - but very limited options and average quality.

The service in the restaurant is very poor, and the waiters are kind to their own country and white people, but unfriendly to people from other countries.

The restaurant was small in size and difficult to serve many people at once, however the waiting usually doesn’t take more than 5-7 minutes.

The cakes in the showcase in the lobby looked delicious, so I would like to try them when I go again.

We even ordered a cake from the bakery and that was out of this world...what a preparation and outstanding taste.

Being vegetarian they had few options requested at front desk they provided as some alternative great job over all

If you want to have a good dinner in the evening, do not go to the hotel restaurant.

We ordered a couple of meals from the Italian restaurant downstairs…, not really impressed with the quality…

There is the occasional ant on plates, both in the restaurant for breakfast and in the lounge.

Restaurant down stairs was nice - the breakfast was good - had a lot of choice.

The restaurant serving lunch and dinners is not that attractive in terms of variety and frequentation.

We tried the Italian restaurant inside the hotel one evening, the staff was not very attentive.

In-house dining is limited with only one restaurant serving breakfast, lunch, dinner and room service.

I used room service twice and it was delicious and reasonably priced, which was great.

The italian restaurant was a very welcome at the end of a busy day.

The breakfasts at the Italian restaurant downstairs are mediocre, but the pizza is excellent!

Not only is it unhygenenic (esp. during endemic situation), the food becomes stale faster.

The food was not good, despite many promising pictures on the website.

I ordered a hamburger for dinner one night. It was not great.

Food (e.g., cakes n pastries) are left uncovered in the lounge.

Specifically the Air-conditioner in the fitness room was off most mornings so we didn’t want to stay in there for long.

The pool, gym, and sauna look good, but we didn't have time to use them.

I was surprised to find various gym equipment and a designated area for yoga.

Also, there is a gym and a work space (executive lounge).

My husband enjoyed the gym which was quite well equipped.

The pool is pleasant as well as the spa, with a nice view from above.

Spa comes to you in your room if you would like a massage.

The massages opposite of the hotel also fantastic and we did every day!

They have an excellent massage spa salon just across the room.

Also, we were able to get massages at the hotel.

I recommend the spa which is just across the street.

We also used the saunas (hammam and Finnish sauna).

360 Thai or foot massage and 540 for oil.

The cost of requesting a car from them to pick you up or drop you off at the airport is very high, exceeding double what you would pay if you took one from outside.

Also they got us a driver parked outside the hotel (not a taxi) to take us to a floating market that was a scam and they robbed us of alot of money.

The BTS station Chit Lom is only 400 meters away, but sometimes during rain or heat it felt far because there is no covered section.

Sometimes it took a long time to arrive by taxi because that area gets very congested and is on a one-way street, but that's Bangkok.

The road from BTS to hotel is a bit difficult, the road is very uneven especially when dragging suitcases

A small error: a free shuttle to the airport is mentioned on booking, but that is not the case.

It requires some transport planning to get back to the hotel as there are no side streets.

Reception will order a taxi for you around 200 baht to local attractions.

The place is far from shopping malls; you need a taxi.

Easy to get to BTS for traveling around the city.

Support in calling a taxi and negotiating the price.
