Amari Bangkok is repeatedly praised for clean, spacious, comfortable rooms, kind professional service, strong housekeeping, and a central location within walking distance of malls, shopping, restaurants and markets. Guests highlight varied breakfast, on-site dining, pool and value, though some describe it as large, crowded and mid-range rather than luxurious; isolated complaints mention noise, aging furniture and a serious security incident.

The hotel is really amazing and its location is excellent. I am at Platinum Fashion Mall, and from there you can go to Central World and Siam Paragon via a bridge that connects these markets together.
The property was good, except the tour service was bad because of pick us up 1 1/2 hour late so we missed the view of sunset on the dinner cruise.
For a small fee, we were upgraded to a larger room and gained access to the lounges where you can get snacks, drinks, and so on.

We had already spent two nights here a few years ago and since we had been delighted, we did not hesitate to come back.
The hotel has significantly lost its shine and charm from days gone by and has fallen behind in the middle of the pack.
Overall the stay was above average but the attitude of front counter service staff and staff from reservation is utterly disappointing.

I would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to my friends and family, and anyone seeking a truly exceptional stay in Bangkok.
Between the poor cleanliness, lack of follow-up, and truly aggravating elevator system, I will not be staying here again.
This is my third time staying at Amari Bangkok this year, and each visit just keeps getting better.

It was really great, we will return to the same hotel on our next trip to Thailand.
We extremely loved our stay, our room was amazing!! They made our honeymoon stay an unforgettable one!!
Amari Hotel failed in that responsibility, and then failed again by refusing to communicate properly afterwards.

The hotel is very clean, very upscale, and its location is excellent right in the center.
Cleanliness, courteous and professional service, amazing and pampering facilities like the pool, saunas, and more.
Not worth the upgrade that I have paid 7500 baht for the stay at all.

Its price is very reasonable compared to the level of cleanliness, service, and location.
Overall, everything about this hotel exceeded our expectations and made our stay truly perfect.
I definitely will stay on the hotel again and will recommend it to others

It was my first stay at the hotel and it won't be my last
Absolutely wonderful hotel — one of the best we have ever stayed in.
The rooms are comfortable, large, and spacious, suitable for the elderly or families.

Perfect hotel for a few days in Bangkok! Clean and well-maintained, excellent food,
It’s important to mention again that the room was welcoming, clean, and spacious.
Amari Bangkok is pure luxury perfection in the heart of the city!

They also upgraded me as soon as arrived without charging anything extra.
Wow, a perfect hotel in a perfect location, an amazing staff, and a diverse breakfast (with a section for every type of cuisine - Asian, Arabic, Indian, etc...) The staff is always kind, waiting at the entrance to open the door for you and help you with your luggage. One of the best hotels I have stayed in! I will definitely return! ❤️❤️
The Amari hotel in Bangkok was simply great, although it is a massive hotel, the service is meticulous and personal, the rooms are large, beautiful, and clean, comfortable beds, a lovely pool on the 8th floor, and a nice spa.

The hotel is clean, the staff is very nice and helps with everything needed, we received cakes and other really nice things for my birthday, the beds are comfortable, we got a high floor with a stunning view
The hotel generally appears luxurious, but after my stay, I discovered that the sheets were torn, the bathroom was unclean, the shower had black mold, and the staff only changed the towels and added tissues.
The property itself was very modern with an exceptional lift/card system … the NO TOUCH elevators were amazing and the Club lounge was quite impressive with a vast array of drink and food selection ..

Location: What guests say

The hotel is exceptionally central for shopping, opposite Platinum and near Pratunam, Big C, CentralWorld and other malls within walking distance. However, surrounding roadworks, heavy traffic and construction noise repeatedly cause difficult taxi journeys, inconvenient walking and sleep disruption; the area can also feel empty late at night and is farther from historic attractions.

I stayed on the 18th floor, close to the wholesale clothing market, opposite Platinum Fashion, and the other malls are accessible via the bridge, like Central World - Big C - Kentucky - King Power Tower, really nice.
The location of the hotel is fantastic, it’s easy to get to the hotel from the airport by train, and it’s accessible to the main attractions in the city (malls).
The hotel is just in front of Platinum Mall and very near Pratunam Night Market and walking distance to Central World and other malls in the area.

A wonderful hotel for family stays... This is the fifth time I have booked at this hotel... and I will continue to book it every time...
Ideally located (Pratumnak area), with plenty of day and night markets right at the foot of the hotel, and also facing Platinium (like MBK).
The place was super convenient and is very friendly for those lady who like to shop as opposite the place is platinum mall.

Do take note that they are located at a good location which also means the jam is bad most of the time!
The cleanliness of the location, friendly staff, spacious room, presence of a bidet in the bathroom, proximity to malls and markets
The neighborhood is very lively, there is a shopping center across from the hotel with cafes, restaurants, and street food.

Excellent hotel, great location in Pratunam - near malls, Big C, markets, and options for delicious and exquisite Thai food!
I highly recommend it; it's very close to a number of large malls that can be reached on foot
The location of the hotel is convenient, opposite the Platinum and there are restaurants and stalls on the street.

Other than the steep slope up to the hotel, Amari is a great hotel - luxurious and comfortable.
Very good location, hotel at a high level, very clean, the best breakfasts during our stay in Thailand.
At the end of the day, plan to leave early because there is a lot of traffic.

Great location, don’t realize that the property was located so close to so many excellent shopping opportunities.
Well located for fashion , great shopping area, great staging point for tours to all the sights.
Excellent hotel, great location close to all the good shopping areas within a short walking distance.

For people that like to shop around plat, this is a high end option for hotel.
Safety and security is good as one needs a key card to access to the rooms.
They were helpful, and we left our bags with them in storage until our flight.

At the foot of the hotel, there is Thai food, massage parlors, and shopping centers.
Close to diverse shopping destinations like Central One, Siam Paragon and bang opposite Platinum Mall.
But everything is definitely doable if you enjoy walking a lot or using Grab

The location was superb! Close to all the eateries, night markets, malls and massages.
Very close to the most important shopping malls and next to several fast food restaurants, cafes, and supermarkets. I will repeat my stay at the same hotel because of its location and the friendliness of its staff. I recommend it for families as they do not need taxis to reach important malls; just wear good athletic shoes and enjoy strolling in the beautiful streets of Bangkok.

The location, the cleanliness and luxury of the hotel, the distinctive service and welcome, the fast services, the availability of several restaurants in the hotel, the closeness of the hotel to shopping malls, the services and restaurants, opposite the famous Platinum Market, and the kiosk complex opposite the hotel near the night market, as well as the wonderful view.
The location is amazing, right in the middle across from Platinum, just a street away. Central World, MBK, Siam Paragon, and the nearby malls are close and you can walk to them in about fifteen to thirty minutes. There are several 7-Eleven branches around, restaurants, and a night market; all of these are right next to you 😍👍🏻
Currently, the street in front of the hotel is a huge construction site, which you don't notice at all inside the hotel, but every taxi ride takes forever longer due to a massive traffic jam day and night. This affects not only this hotel but everything in this neighborhood.

Staff: What guests say

Staff are repeatedly praised as friendly, helpful, welcoming, professional, and attentive, with front desk and concierge teams often going above and beyond, including arranging early check-in, taxis, itineraries, and room changes. However, some guests reported communication or process difficulties, inconsistent towel and room-service delivery, cold reception, and inadequate follow-up on serious complaints.

Additionally, the employee refused to withdraw an amount from the card and give it to us in cash, even though this method had previously been initiated by another hotel without us asking, and it is counted as a strong point for that hotel and unparalleled cooperation.
Charis is an absolute superstar! Warm, incredibly attentive, always smiling, and genuinely goes above and beyond – whether recommending the best spots, sorting requests instantly, or just making you feel so special and welcome.
Also just missed seeing the front desk ladies in their Thai silk outfits, not a big deal but that is what makes them stand out in our opinion - very classy.

I called but the staff questioned me "are there three people in your room?" (We booked the package of three) guess what? The slippers didn't come finally. :(
THE MOST IMPORTANT: Exceptionally pleasant, friendly, helpful, and kind employees in all areas of the hotel, including the lobby, lower lobby, restaurants, room service, pool-fitness area, management!
Despite having 5 elevators in the hotel, the waiting time for them is very long, sometimes around 2 minutes. There are a lot of guests.

The service was very slow, and we had to return again and again to the reception to complete our check-in and enter the room.
No one greeted us with a smile, and they didn't help us with our luggage, neither at the check-in or at the check-out.
Patty was not only pleasant to interact with but also went above and beyond by providing a birthday ensemble for my daughter.

They promptly contacted the construction team, kept me updated on their progress, and initially offered to move us to another room.
All staff are & friendly, many thanks to Mrs.Patty reception supervisor for her valuable & endless support during our staff.
Big appreciation to the management and all the staff who works hard to keep the guest staying with maximum comfort.

The hotel manager/concierge (Midori) was more than willing to assist and did much more than most on short notice.
I like the service and the staff , they give me free upgrade to nice room in 18th floor
The service by staff at the ground floor cafe at the front was outstanding, very friendly and efficient too.

I’m welcomed by staffs with hightly hospitality to make me feel like at home and they’re so friendly.
Everything was great, the staff was very attentive, thanks to Nidoi for his kindness and impeccable French.
The staff there were outstanding, and the food was unforgettable—we ate there multiple times during our stay.

When we feedback to the front desk manager, we were assured that the room will be cleaned.
My grateful thanks to the staff for safely collecting, storing and returning personal items I've left.
One of the male staff at concierge was rather impatient when we asked about luggage arrangements.

The staffs are really bad, seams they haven't got their salary that's kind of bad emotion.
The staff's attitude is nice and they try to help as much as they can.
Told the staff and they informed the engineer but seemed like it was effectively addressed.

Also, the reception was nice and they were ready to help at any time
The reception staff have conflicting information and do not agree on the same procedure. For example: I called to ask about the latest time to check out and requested an extension, and they informed me that I could extend until 2 PM for free. However, when I returned to the reception, the staff told me the extension would cost 200 for half an hour, and when I asked to speak to a manager or supervisor, they said they would give me a free extension for an hour until 1 PM.

The staff is always kind, waiting at the entrance to open the door for you and help you with your luggage. One of the best hotels I have stayed in! I will definitely return! ❤️❤️

First of all, they were amazing because I arrived sick with a fever from Bangkok and I called from the airport to let them know I wasn't feeling well, and even though we arrived at the hotel at 10 in the morning, they arranged everything so I could check into the room and sleep (without any extra charge).
The staff's behavior is inappropriate and the cleaning service is not good due to a slight stain on the towel. I was fined 1100 Thai Baht and I tried to ask them to give me the towel so I could wash it myself at my own expense, which wouldn't cost that amount, but they refused.

Rooms: What guests say
View Amari Bangkok768 relevant reviews
Rooms are repeatedly described as spacious, clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, with notably comfortable beds. Recurring drawbacks include dated bathrooms and decor, inconsistent housekeeping, weak or noisy air conditioning, and poor soundproofing with heavy street noise. Families reported unsuitable or missing extra beds, while some rooms were small, awkward, or below five-star expectations.

The only issue I had was when I marked my room for cleaning and left at 9am and they have not cleaned when I got back at 3pm and I had to ask the cleaner to do it next.
On the second night, they gave us the one we had requested during the booking process, but this meant we had to repack our bags... what a shame; it just needed a little more attention.
The aircon was a tad noisy, and soundproofing was a bit of an issue - could hear the neighbour coughing and using their air dryer despite the connecting doors being closed.

I stayed in two rooms at this hotel, I loved my first room, it was huge, super comfy bed, bathroom with bath and two sinks and a great view.
In addition, my room had access to a private breakfast area on the 32nd floor, but the breakfast options were not as varied as on the 4th floor.
I used to like booking an executive suite because we had access to 32 floors where there was a terrace where we could smoke while drinking coffee.

The only issue was that the shower door had a space below it, so the water was running out of the shower onto the floor.
Cleanliness of room, old shampoo containers should be thrown out and not left on floor of shower, rooms could be vacuumed and carpet cleaned.
Housekeeping was excellent — the room was cleaned daily, and bed linens and towels were changed regularly, which made the stay very comfortable.

At check-in, we were informed that we received a complimentary upgrade to the room; upon entering, it was exactly what we booked.
Tired bathrooms with old fashioned fittings and there was a leaking shower door making the floor awash each time we showered.
We were disappointed upon our arrival with the 'good' room that was given to us for 2 adults and a teenager

We could hear doors banging around the corridors as we had to pull quite a bit to shut it tight.
Room cards didn’t work a few times so I had to go back down to front desk for new ones.
Initially we were assigned a smoking room but the staff were able to find us non smoking room immediately!

The bed is too soft for my roommate... she couldn't sleep till 3am everyday... i felt sorry for her.
The hotel could look into providing a buggy service to transport the elderly up to the lift lobby.
The room was large, and there was plenty of space, though it could use a bit more storage.

On our last night, we saw two cockroaches and had mosquitoes flying around, making it difficult to sleep.
Apart from the layout of the room for triple share, the hotel would have been rated 5 star.
We had a guest next down who smoked like a chimney and made our room very unpleasant

Offered an upgrade to the newly updated rooms which were not there at the time of booking
They have a selection of different pillows in case you didn’t like the ones they already provided.
Nice space in the room, the bathroom is great with a bathtub, shower, and double sink.

The room, the view, the location, and the staff are all top-notch in politeness and respect.
The room was on the 21st floor with a view of the streets: beautiful in the evening, the bed and the ears were comfortable I slept very well, water was provided every day even if the previous bottles had not been used, the room was cleaned every day even if we didn't request it with the make-up room button, but it wasn't cleaned when the do not disturb button was activated. There was a shower and a bathtub.
I suffered for 1st 3 days as I was on old part of the hotel and the access card not working several times day and we have to contact the reception almost 6 times a day to assist us and change the access cards, at the end action taken by hotel administration as they change and upgrade our reservation to 2 bed rooms suite.

The only thing was the iron and ironing board was not good the iron plate was pealing away and the board needs a cover on it but normally the room is full of things to help on the stay if we was staying longer would of asked staff to swap them but was no need only tried using once.
We booked a family room for 2 adults and 2 children, we msgd the property before hand to double check that it would sleep all of us which they confirmed but when checking in they said we would have to pay more to upgrade to a room that would sleep us all.
I booked a deluxe room and upgraded to a premier room. I do not recommend the deluxe, but the premier was excellent. It was clean, the furniture was beautiful with attractive colors, the room was spacious, the furniture was comfortable, and the bathroom had a good size.

Breakfast: What guests say
View Amari Bangkok592 relevant reviews
Breakfast is repeatedly praised for its extensive, varied, high-quality buffet, including halal, European, Thai, Indian, fresh fruit, and live-cooked options. Recurring drawbacks include guests being moved from the better 4th-floor room to a smaller 3rd-floor venue, crowding and reduced selection late, limited Western/healthy/fruit choices, powdered eggs, poor machine coffee, and one serious hygiene complaint.

The Breakfast was poor quality although there was a wide variety.. food was mostly Indian I could not find any good Thai dishes, not even Thai Fried Rice or Pad Thai ( although we were in Bangkok Thailand.. very disappointing.. not any nice Thai Food.. The Thai Fried noodles was just horrible.. I suspect they did not have a Thai cook..
My girlfriend does not stay for breakfast (due to her work) and the cost for breakfast for one person is quite high, almost as much as two breakfasts.
There is an individual that works at one of the breakfast areas beside the window to the outside who was very pleasant and polite.

The hotel is great for Muslim travellers as not many 5-star hotels in Bangkok offer halal breakfast with such a great selection.
The price of breakfast was 400 Baht when booked, but 750 Baht when paid on-site in the morning; it's completely unacceptable.
A very thoughtful, diverse, and tasty breakfast [when the dining room is crowded, they open another equally nice dining room.]

The buffet is not good and crowded, and the croissant is not fresh, and the coffee machine is crowded
I didn't like the breakfast where there are too many people and the tables are very close together.
There should have been an additional coffee station at breakfast because there was always a long queue.

The breakfast was good, not many choices for fruits, especially given that this is in Thailand.
Buffet breakfast facility was fantastic with a huge range and plenty of delicious and fresh food.
The food is halal, the breakfast buffet is wonderful and halal, it is worth trying

Breakfast needs more variety, and the carpets in the rooms need to be changed.
Excellent breakfast, very varied, includes a variety of vegetarian options in addition to everything.
Breakfast (fairly, I really loved it and my husband was a little bit disappointed).

And also highly recommended from 5 PM to 7 PM, canapés with drinks.
The breakfast & both Club SIRAA & normal were excellent with great variety.
The breakfast was outstanding — absolutely delicious, high quality and perfectly prepared.

Would have loved to dine in at AMAYA instead of some Ballroom.
There was amazing spread of breakfast buffet which we enjoyed everyday.
The service of the staff in the dining room is exceptional..!!!

They only had one beverage machine for all guests at breakfast.
I love their Halal breakfast the spread are so good.
The room is superb as is the location and breakfast.

The breakfast is simply extraordinary; there is something for everyone.
Having paid the booking in advance and notified that we can get 20% off from the meals in any of the hotel's restaurant, was greatly disappointed that this does not include the breakfast buffet which we initially planned to try on our last day with the hotel.

There is no Eastern breakfast, and the breakfast does not suit Arab and Gulf communities. It was bad, and I did not enjoy the breakfast, and the treatment from the breakfast staff was very bad with discrimination between Arab and foreign guests.
There was one and only problem in the hotel - in the dining room there were small cockroaches that were actually walking on the floor during the breakfast on the two occasions we ate there in the morning.
There is a dress code (no tank tops, etc.), something that was not mentioned to us upon check-in at the hotel, and when we went down to the dining room, they asked my husband to change clothes.

Facilities: What guests say
View Amari Bangkok283 relevant reviews
Guests consistently praise the hotel’s cleanliness, grand lobby, pool, gym, sauna, restaurants, and modern security. However, elevators are frequently crowded, slow, and restrictive, with occasional access failures. Some rooms and bathrooms feel dated or cramped, amenities may be incomplete, and laundry charges are repeatedly described as unexpectedly excessive.

The quality of the key cards is very unstable. My friends and I booked a total of 5 rooms and stayed for 4 nights. One friend went to the front desk to reissue the card 13 times, and the hotel did not provide a clear explanation for the deactivation of the cards.
The number of guests is large compared to the size of the hotel; I hope to reduce the number of guests, renovate the place from the inside, and add larger rooms, especially for big families by providing suites consisting of two rooms and two bathrooms.
If you forgot the excess key & wrongly get down wrong floor after that you can’t come out because of this I stuck more then 30 minutes there & there is no help phone on each floor

They have a laundry service with an external laundry and the price is very cheap (you drop off your clothes, and the owner of the laundry comes to pick them up and bring them back)
It will be nice if they add The king picture in the reception, felt like something missing and empty I hope to see it soon in all Thailand hotels.
Great security procedures, we forgot the safe box open, house keeping informed security then opened it when we arrived all our valuable belongings were safe.

As a younger man I used to trade around the wholesale area, I was once cought short and needed to use there facilities
However, there is a ramp at the hotel entrance that is not suitable for the elderly or people with special needs.
Also the club membership afforded us entry for their daily afternoon snacks high tea and then their cocktail hour

Not enough seating in the dining room and we had to wait for a table to become available.
Great experience but I wished the club could have extended hours beyond 7.30 for evening drinks.
It’s not cheap as expected in Thailand, but it's reasonable since it's part of the hotel.

And we have to continue to tap and wait till the lift can take us.
We didn't feel that the price justifies the facilities in the hotel (quite outdated)
The lift is is an issue, waiting time is very long or too crowded.

We didn’t mark it on our laundry sheet but the service was done.
I especially enjoyed the hotel's facilities, including the pool and the delicious breakfast.
Wish there is at least a button to press to hold the lift.

Lifts have modern access feature which needs figuring out the first time.
The public areas including the pool and the gym are nice.
The lifts were not the most efficient especially during busy periods.

Takes some time to exit from room to ground floor.
Fantastic facilities and location - walking distance from huge malls.
The facilities in the room need to upgrade and fix.

Sweets, coffee, and snacks are available almost all day
Lack of adherence to the scheduled room cleaning times
A little overpriced compared to others with similar facilities

The lobby without any live bank and singing.
The lobby was under renovation when we visited.
Newly renovated premier with king, room was big.

Pool: What guests say
View Amari Bangkok168 relevant reviews
The 8th-floor pool is frequently praised as beautiful, clean, peaceful and suitable for children, with greenery, city views and a jacuzzi. Recurring drawbacks are cold water, heavy shade and little sunlight, too few loungers or umbrellas, an 8pm closing time, and occasional complaints about poor service, leaves and dated styling.

The pool was cold, there were very few sun loungers, and overall very little sun (the sun only arrived around 2 PM in a small part of the pool area).
For pool facilities, will be good to not allow guests to bring their own portable mini speaker and blast music (in their native language) at the pool.
The hotel pool was excellent and the staff serving in the pool area were attentive and friendly, great service standard which really made my stay.

We were told that outside food is not allowed in the hotel. We ordered food to the pool and were forbidden to eat there.
The pool is decent, although not large, but there have never been more than 5-7 people there, so there were always lounge chairs available.
We really like the pool with the bar, the only point of criticism is that there are a bit too few lounge chairs.

Swimming pool area is pleasant, shade if you want to escape from the sun, and loungers where you can soak up rays.
- We chose this hotel specifically for the larger pool so we could relax a bit after a long day in Bangkok.
The pool area on the 8th floor is luxurious, a spacious pool, there is a hot jacuzzi inside the changing rooms area.

The pool does not have enough sunbeds and umbrellas, 30 floors of the hotel and only 16 sun loungers, a bit few...
It was a little hassle to go down towards level 8 for my hubby's smoke break as the pool closed after 8pm
Also, the pool was very dirty, with insects and dirt; it is clear that there is no regular cleaning of the pool.

Unfortunately, there were no free sun loungers at any time of the day, even though there was enough space.
And the private pool for the rooms, of course, is shared between you and the adjacent rooms.
The pool area was excellent clean tidy and in an excellent location of the hotel.

Of course, the view is amazing, the villa has a pool and offers high privacy
Pool area needs upgrading, definitely not in line with the Amari level of quality.
Pool is quite nice and the surrounding area for you to relax is comfortable.

Amari Hotel outstanding pool side service standard is a true Welcome to Thailand!
The pool is more suitable for Instagram photos than for actually enjoying it.
The pool is small, shaded, and cold, and there aren't enough sunbeds

The pool gives a feeling of a village within the city
It had this beat that just keeps going on and on.
The pool is very cool and refreshing - towels provided.

Pool changing rooms as well, with jacuzzi and sauna
Raise the temperature of the water in the pool
Pool on the 4th floor with a bar.

Very nice pool on the 8th floor.
The pool also had seen better days…
Too much chlorine in the pool.

Check-in / Check-out: What guests say
View Amari Bangkok141 relevant reviews
Check-in and check-out are often slow, with queues, miscommunication, and occasional room delays exceeding two hours; elevators also become extremely crowded on upper floors. Some guests report smooth, friendly service, early check-in, flexible extensions, luggage storage, and post-checkout pool or shower access, but late checkout fees and inconsistent upgrade handling are recurring concerns.

The check-in wait time was very long. Even though it was already past 4 PM, I was told the room was not ready. The first time I used the key card, all 10 cards I received were unusable, and I had to queue again at the front desk to resolve this issue. One room had to change keys 4 times due to card issues, either the room could not be accessed or the elevator wouldn't work with the card. The hotel's handling of these issues was very inefficient.
We come art the hotel at 3 pm for check in the rooms were not available and the manager told us we do bot have king rooms “as we booked “ how ever they gave us queen bed room . and also where not available at 3 pm . they gave us all rooms at 5:30 pm
The reception guy who told me when I first got into the hotel at 3am ( which I told the hotel that my flight will arrive at 2am and I need a room !! So the reception guy told me to wait till 10am or maybe more !!!!!!!!!

I received an email confirming that I will be getting the upgrade, but when I checked in, they said they didn't have the upgraded room available for me, but perhaps the next day I could change rooms if there was an upgrade the next day.
And this deposit thing, we don’t use credit card and taking 3000 baht is a lot. After lots of pestering, they returned 2000 baht before we checked out. Imagine being returned the 3000 baht on the last day and you barely can spend the money.
Every stay I request a late check-out from the room because the flight home is usually at night, and there has never been a problem with that, but this time they couldn't accommodate the request because the hotel was fully booked, and that was disappointing...

A room for three was booked and only after we arrived in the evening and checked in did they start arranging and bringing in an additional bed, which could have been organized and set up beforehand. Additionally, the extra bed was not very comfortable.
I asked if they could direct me to somewhere I could change, directions were poor and in fact it was a workman that helped me to find the toilets to change and then said the pool area is nice why not wait there!
To pay in advance our staying and to be oblliged to do check out within 12.00 since we had the flight late evening and we could have enjoyed our staying also in the afternoon to rest a little bit and relax ...

I was surprised by some comments saying the opposite; I left my bag with them while I finished shopping and then I picked it up later at the airport, and this service is free with them.
I was surprised to hear from my Friend who was checking out on the 3rd that I did not pay the whole amount and that i probably did not report my departure to reception.
CHECKED IN ON MY BIRTHDAY, PARTNER REQUESTED A SURPRISE CAKE, THEY INFORMED MYSELF AT CHECK IN ABOUT THE CAKE AND IT WAS A SMALL CAKE NOT EVEN ONE BITE.

The manager texted me promising to ensure the rest of my cleans would be “done extra well,” but nothing improved and no one followed up afterward.
And the staff has arranged for late check out at 2pm but was annoyed when return at 12pm, the room door locked us out.
The next day, they told me there was a mistake and that we would refund the amount to you in about a month.

All I had to do is book under 2 guests, then pay for extra bed for 3rd guest inclusive of Breakfast.
Had an issue with the card to enter the room, so we kept on going down to get it checked.
Upon check-out, I was shocked to find an extra charge on my bill for an order from the restaurant.

Everything was excellent from the warm welcome at the entrance, to check-in, our room, and the smooth check-out.
I arrived at 12:30 and they did not allow me to check in until 2:00 without any reason.
Despite the crowds, we were helped more than excellently and extremely friendly at the check-in desk.

I even e-mail the hotel via booking and they did not care much about the problem
Exellent stay thanks all to the wonderfull staff right from check in to check out.
We arrived and the front desk clerk took an hour to find our reservation.

They didn't even notice that I was standing and waiting for already ten minutes.
This meant that we missed our Club Suite check-in on the ground floor lobby.
My second time here and both times the check in took too long.

Check in Staff nearly charge me twice for extra bed + 3rd guest.
The front desk staff need to improve to be more attentive and helpful.
They took a 1000 baht deposit from me, why don't you know?

Hotel dining is generally praised, especially Italian pizza, Thai dishes, Indian food, and gluten-free options at Prego; however, reviews also cite high prices, inconsistent quality, slow service, limited variety, noisy crowded spaces, sewage odor near the Italian entrance, and mixed room-service meals.

Paying for the upgrade to Club Siraa was not worth it this time! The food was scarce, the staff took a long time to bring the drinks, there was a lot of noise and kids running around and touching the food uncontrollably.
However, the undisputed highlight was the exclusive Club Sirra. This private haven offered a truly luxurious experience with its dedicated breakfast service, evening tea, and a fantastic cocktail selection.
The dining room is packed noisy bad smell 90 percent of the food is Indian or Thai except for some vegetables stale bread awful coffee

The dinner we booked on our first time was totally amazing, the lobster was cooked to perfection while the other normal buffet was also delicious.
One delightful surprise was the quality of the food. The italian and thai food were absolutely delicious, and a testament to the hotel's culinary expertise.
Also it was a pity that Prego restaurant outdoor was not open after 8pm and the life music with deejay only there on friday 9/2/24.

There is strong sewage smell coming out at the entrance of the Italian restaurant each time we walked in and out of the hotel.
Everything was excellent, especially having a restaurant that knows how to prepare gluten-free food, the Fronto restaurant that we also met on Koh Samui
The hotel even gave us THB500 vouchers to use in their restaurants for those days where we were too tired to walk anymore.

I tried to order from their restaurant, turns out they don't have a menu, and they tell you the dishes over the phone.
The dining room is more suited to Eastern and Indian tastes and less to Arab tastes, but it was still tasty and clean.
Location, a huge restaurant on the 8th floor for breakfast, and a wide selection of dishes (there are halal dishes available upon request).

I sent the chicken back to the kitchen, finished my greens, after some time more cold chicken came out of the kitchen.
The hotel’s restaurant Prego is outstanding – high-quality food, fair prices, and an especially welcoming place for those with celiac disease.
At check-in, each room received a credit of 500 Baht which we used at the hotel's Italian restaurant - excellent.

Unfortunately, we couldn't reserve a table at the buffet restaurant for lunch because everything was already fully booked.
The attached restaurant, Fergo, is excellent... delicious food and there is a discount for hotel guests (Italian)
A lot of muslims are staying in this hotel, why not all the food is halal!

We proceed to go to the restaurant in the hotel for dinner which was another horror.
Food was good with great variety of food and restaurant staff was very helpful.
We also dined at the hotel thai restaurant and the food was delicious.

Great food, especially at the Italian restaurant where the team is amazing too.
The restaurants perfect expensive but the it worth the quality and service
The menu was terrible and the food was not authentic Thai

We also used the hotel's restaurant, the food was nice.
The hotel has an Italian restaurant and a Thai restaurant
We had an amazing time and loved the food!

The Italian restaurant connected to the hotel is lovely.
Very delicious Italian restaurant on the first floor.
They have nice Italian restaurant with delicious food

Gym: What guests say

The gym is repeatedly praised as exceptionally large, clean, spacious, and better equipped than typical hotel gyms, with running machines, CrossFit, squash, Pilates, sauna, and fitness classes. Guests also value the pool and sports facilities. Minor concerns include a 10 p.m. closing time, occasional towel shortages, and some equipment needing modernization.

The gym deserves special mention — it is very large and fully equipped, more like a proper fitness club than a typical hotel gym.
The gym and sports facilities (squash and training area + pilates zone) is the best I have ever seen.
Also the gym attendant wasn't maintaining the place well that there were no more towels at 8am after workout.

A huge gym with a variety of running machines and even a crossfit area.
Although the gym was good , the machinery / equipment need to be modernised.
POOL & GYM AMAZING, THEY HAD THREE CABANA'S BY THE POOL WHICH WERE AWESOME.

4. The gym has many facilities, spacious areas, and also offers a great view.
Best and most comprehensive hotel gym in Bangkok that I've seen.
The gym should also be highlighted as very good and large.

Breakfast and the gym were standout highlights of the hotel.
It has a very nice pool area, gym, and sauna.
The gym and the pool are a real plus.

Nice pool and well-equipped fitness center for a hotel.
Pool and gym areas were very clean and maintained.
Fully equipped gym with air-con and even squash courts.

Gym has 4 running machines and many other equipment.
The gym was well-equipped and a nice bonus.
Had a decent gym with functional area .

The facilities like the gym is great 100/100
Gym hours should be extended beyond ten pm.
Amenities were adequate (especially the fairly large gym.

Very large gym, everything is clean and spacious
Why is the gym closing at 10pm?
The pool and gym are very good.

Excellent gym, sauna, steam & fitness services.
The gym is of high quality.
Fitness classes are so much fun.

The gym was great
Ultra well-equipped fitness center
GYM was good.

Transport: What guests say

Frequent road and subway construction outside causes severe congestion, making taxi journeys slow and hotel access difficult; a 15-minute trip may take 40–60 minutes. Taxis can be expensive, especially hotel-arranged taxis or tuk-tuks, while Grab/Bolt may be cheaper. Complimentary tuk-tuk rides help, but pickup points and advance booking can confuse guests.

Please be aware to allow the concierge to book trips or taxis - we were paying a premium asking for a taxi, which are parked nearby the hotel, where as if we walked 1 minute to the taxi rank we paid 1/2 the price - also disappointing.
Getting to the hotel can be a bit of a drain as Bangkok traffic is always chock-a-block and it doesn't help with all the road works - however I understand that it's necessary to cope with the future load of traffic.
We take a lot of grab, sometimes the grab driver gets confused as to whether he should pick up at the lobby or lower lobby area, so please do let your driver know in advance where you are at.

That means: an uncomfortable situation with the taxi driver who demanded a flat rate of 500 BHT and at the same time no opportunity to correct it, because one needs to be at the airport on time for departure.
Returning to the hotel by taxi takes longer due to construction works close to the hotel, and the taxi needs to go far away to be able to take a U turn to go to the hotel.
We ordered a car to meet us from the airport answered their e-mail, still I have to follow up to confirm the booking of the car - finally received confirmation when si checked out.

On the morning we checked out the operator said they are going to book a taxi for us - they never did and only when we were done checking out, concierge ordered the taxi.
He has a problem beyond his control, which is that getting to the hotel by taxi is difficult due to the road works in front of him causing heavy congestion.
Only thing I can think off is a confusing cab drop-off/pick-up with both a 'basement lobby' and 'ground floor lobby' and it was unclear when cars were routed to each.

I think the management should allow cabs to pick up passengers depending on which lobby they are at rather than insisting them to pick up at the lower lobby.
3- When you take a taxi to return to the hotel, the prices are very high because the area around the hotel is crowded most of the time
Also not easy to meet my friend , the Elevator just going to my Floor and L and Spa ( how I can visit my friend ) !!!!

Private hire can’t pick & drop us at the main lobby area, always have to drive one round at the basement which I feel is quite troublesome.
Getting a taxi is cheaper than a tuk tuk but if it takes just 15mins to drive it’ll take an hour to get there in taxi.
I thought there was an airport shuttle service which could be taken on arrival at the the airport, but it needs to be reserved before hand.

Staff help us to negotiate for lower rates but as a 5 star hotel there shd be policy to only allow taxi to operate via meter.
When you call for a cab, the security will divert the cab to the lower lobby even if you are waiting at the upper lobby.
I appreciated their help when I requested a taxi for the whole day; they provided it to us at a very good price.

Also around the hotel at the time we stayed there was a lot of road works making getting taxi’s to places difficult.
It is difficult for a taxi driver to get you to your destination quickly; it takes a very long time to arrive
We couldn't find our car for pickup waiting in the basement lobby when car had been routed to ground floor by staff.

Wifi was cut off as soon as we checked out. Could not even do taxi booking to the airport.
During our stay there the road going to hotel has ongoing construction, so the traffic is really heavy.
The road in front is under construction, so the road is often crowded with vehicles and traffic jams

There is constructions around the hotel that cause very bad traffic to get to the hotel.
The hotel provides free boat transportation, but you need to contact them first
Because of Subway construction there use to be extreme traffic outside hotel.

The drop off and pick up for Taxi/Ride locations are different.
Grab had to pick you up from a separate entrance.
The taxi order with a meter was not understood.

Spa: What guests say
View Amari Bangkok44 relevant reviews
Guests frequently praise the spa as beautiful, private, clean, relaxing, and well equipped with sauna, steam room, hot tub, pool, and excellent massages. However, repeated concerns include high prices, inconsistent massage quality, fully booked appointments, a malfunctioning jacuzzi, and occasional cleanliness issues in the steam room and hot baths.

The only complaint about the hotel is probably that my wife had a birthday during our stay, and we did not receive any compliments or offers for a discounted spa treatment, even though we approached the reception a couple of times that day to resolve some issues.
I attended the spa facility this was also superb and value for money with the pricing and the staff were excellent and attended to all medical information required as not to cause any pain or damage to previous injuries.
We were so disappointed that we asked for a refund and as compensation they sent us a cake to the room.

Steam room had no water hose to wash off the seats which were full of bits of scrubbed skin.
The spa at the hotel is excellent; I had a massage there and enjoyed it very much.
The spa was out of this world with one of the best massages I’ve had.

The prices of the spa at the hotel are expensive (prices like in the country).
The Spa and pool area were also good and the spa massages were excellent.
The spa is overly expensive vs the surrounding area and the massage was lackluster.

The spa is beautiful, but the masseurs do not perform massages, they only stroke.
I paid 4200 baht for an hour massage for me and my wife.
If you want a quality and professional massage, this is not the place.

The massage service in the hotel wasnt the best massage we had.
Although I was sure that we would be refunded our money.
The breeze spa is good but a bit pricey.

The lack of hygiene and cleanliness in Spa.
And the quality of the massage was useless.
The lovely spa was an oasis of relaxation.

The location, the rooms, the facilities, the spa
The location, facilities, spa, and breakfast are great.
The massage at the hotel is very excellent

Location, facilities, spa, break fast, clean and price
The steam and sauna rooms are well kept.
Spa area is great and private and relaxing

Steam room sauna and hot tub.
Clean and has an excellent breakfast
Spa was clean and profesional

Massage appointments are always full.
And a nice spa.
Nice little wellness area
