Reviews repeatedly praise the Ascott Embassy Bangkok for clean, spacious, comfortable rooms, welcoming service, convenient location, good food, and strong amenities including a pool, lounge, and children’s playroom. Several guests call it excellent value and plan to return, though some found service below five-star standards and reported nighttime noise or disorder.

Super cool and modern property, amazing swimming pool and lounge area (plus playroom for the kids) in a high rise and nice part of town.
It was such a perfect way to treat ourselves to go home well rested and wind down two busy weeks in pure comfort.
Great hotel to relax after a long day in Bangkok with many smiles to welcome you to make you feel at home.

If I turned on the do not disturb, they would just call me a few times while I was sleeping.
So if you are looking for a hotel to go and rest after a long day, book this one.
Considering the quality of the rooms, the amenities, and the outstanding service, the stay was absolutely worth the money.

I cherished my moments with them and must recommend everyone to stay in this amazing hotel to experience lifetime.
Bangkok has a huge choice of hotels but we would highly recommend this one and we would stay again.

So new that the restaurant and rooftop bar wasn’t built out yet but that will come in time.
Went to the Ascott Embassy in Bangkok for a big family trip and got a conjoining room.

Ended our trip with 5 days at rhe ascott embassy and what a pkeasure it was!
Next time I come back to Bangkok, I would definitely stay at Ascott Embassy Sathorn again!
The rooms are very spacious and very nice decorated, but the service can be improved.

I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel and would gladly stay here again.
We look forward to our next visit to Bangkok and the Ascott Embassy!
This is a top notch hotel, great value and so clean.

The property is immaculately managed and the location is massively convenient.
I had a wonderful stay at the Ascott in Bangkok.
Would definitely stay here if we ever return to Bangkok.

I had a fantastic stay in the hotel.
We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel.
I will choose it again next time.

Overall a good and well managed property.
A hotel that I’ll return to.
Please keep up the good work!

Deserves a 5 star rating.
Good time in ascott ~
We would stay here again!

Staff: What guests say

Staff are the hotel’s most consistently praised feature: guests repeatedly describe them as exceptionally friendly, helpful, warm, professional, attentive, and English-speaking. Scarlet receives especially frequent recognition for kindness and personal support, while concierge and front-desk teams efficiently handle reservations, transport, luggage, internet issues, late checkout, and unexpected difficulties.

Every staff member from the guards and security at the entrance, the concierge and staff, reception staff, lounge staff, GM, Residence Mgr., Ms.Lily Asst. Director of Sales and shuttle drivers became my family.
From the minute we arrived we were warmly welcomed by everyone (front desk team, security, and housekeeping) and we would like to express a special thank you to Pete, Kaew, and Narn.
They even allow you to call for pick up from Silom Complex if you’re an ASR member — perfect during the storms and torrential downpours we experienced during our stay.

Thank to kaew pas chris eye, to help me with my problem ( i forgot my phone charger at the previous hotel and they bring back to me for free).
The only exception was a gentleman wearing glasses rostered morning shifts on 25th-26th April, he was not helpful and his response was lacking professionalism and sounded cold.
She supported me not only during my stay but also in very personal moments, even being by my side at my wedding at the consulate.

Her warm attitude and genuine care made a big difference, and I really appreciate the effort she puts into making every guest feel welcome.
I paid more to this hotel to avoid these kind of things because I have heard about it in Bangkok a lot.
Aom and Pete provided outstanding service, taking care of our luggage and offering valuable travel recommendations, making our stay even more enjoyable.

I want to give a heartfelt thank-you to Scarlett, the Korean staff member who helped us so much during our stay.
The staff was exceptionally understanding and accommodating—they provided the extra bed for us at no extra charge, which we greatly appreciated.
Specially,Ms.scarlet very friendly ,curteous, made us feel home ,every single person is so lovely, helping, try to help us in every possible way,

I want to give a special shout-out to Pla, whose wonderfully engaging personality and friendly conversation made my evening.
Eye was lovely at check-out, and even reminded me not to forget my stuff (which I almost did!).
It's clean and spacious, which is nice, and I feel good because all the staff are kind.

Truly impeccable training, especially Scarlet whom we were lucky enough to have help us during our stay.
This would be a 5 star hotel but it looks like alll the other hotels with scams.
I can't recommend this place enough, largely thanks to the stellar service from Pla and Yo.

The service was great the host showed me the room and any damages before I booked.
Special thanks to Nai,Lek,Ton, Tae, Tony and Pate for making my stay a amazing one.
She has a real talent for making guests feel so welcome and at ease.

They help you take care of things you didn’t even realised you missed.
She can speak at least 3 languages and I’m sure many more!
I'll definitely visit here again next time. Thank you very much.

Service: Overall was very pleasant from the concierge to reception staff.
Pete & P. Kaew have been very welcoming & helpful.
It was a very enjoyable stay especially the Bellman.

Staff excellent including lek and tonny in the front.
Staff like Phawis is so kind and helpful.
Major security breach and we were taken aback!

Rooms: What guests say
View Ascott Embassy Sathorn Bangkok66 relevant reviews
Rooms are repeatedly described as spacious, modern, clean, comfortable, and well maintained, with strong showers, comfortable bedding, kitchens, and in-room washers/dryers especially valued in apartments. Reported drawbacks include light leaking through blackout curtains, narrow beds, below-average soundproofing, occasional poor views or construction noise, and missing or chargeable extra beds.

The only downside is the room said for 4 people but there were three beds- we only needed the room for the day so it wasn’t a big deal but would have been an issue for an overnight
Only one thing not good, which I have to pick out is my room is on 13 floor and two walls outside my windows, I don’t get good sunshine and view comparing to other room.
If you are booking a room for three people, I would recommend double-checking at the time of reservation whether the extra bed is included in your rate or if it requires an additional fee.

The rooms were clean and luxurious with a washing machine included in each room, you wouldn’t know how much you need access to one on your trip until you have one.
The hotel issued cards to our room to another guest and they were trying to enter our room in the middle of the night when they check in.
Also keep in mind that the pictures may not match your room, which was slightly disappointing for me but no big deal.

Very spacious apt, joined rooms making a 2 bedroom apt with everything we needed as a family of tree with teenager.
The one bedroom premier unit was very spacious, had trendy decor, comfortable bed and an excellent view of the city !
They helped me to change the room as i took a smoking room first but i preferred to take non-smoking

Soundproof: Below average, we both were woken up a couple times at night by room guests staying the next door.
We booked a two room executive suite for our family of four for the tail end of our Thailand trip.
I thoroughly enjoyed my 2 month stay in the fully equipped one bedroom premier apartment 700 sf/65 sqm.

Dry rooms... not just AC but de hunidified rooms... such a releif after wandering the city all day!
The extra bed was not there and due so one of them had to sleep between us.
Chose executive room of Ascott embassy sathorn this time, really enjoyable and relaxed in these 5 days!

The room was exquisitely decorated and cozy, with soft and skin-friendly bedding that ensured a sound sleep.
The rooms were spacious, modern, and beautifully maintained, offering all the comfort you could ask for.
There is conateuction on one side so just ask for a room on yhe opposite side

View from the room was very nice, we can see the Chao Praya river.
The black out curtains which let the sun pass in the morning.
Room condition os good and the hotel managers are incredibly nice.

Our hotel room was clean and held a high standard.
Room was spacious and have all the amenities we needed.
Bed: Requested twin beds, very narrow (approx. 80-90cm wide).

You have all the nessesary items you need.
The hotel room was very spacious and comfortable.
Cleanliness really added to my fantastic experience.

The room was spacious and very clean.
The rooms are spacious and clean.
The room is super clean also.

Location: What guests say
View Ascott Embassy Sathorn Bangkok39 relevant reviews
The hotel’s central Sathorn location is repeatedly praised for nearby restaurants, street food, markets, malls, business areas, and access to BTS/MRT, with a shuttle helping compensate for the 7–15-minute walk. Reviews differ on convenience: some find it highly walkable and safe, while others cite heavy traffic, distance from temples, and an unwalkable or dirty setting.

It was a nice hotel / service apartment in a decent area, with lots of lovely restaurants (both high-end and very local ones) within 5mins of walking.
Only a few BTS stops from the Chao Phraya River for access to boat service to Wat Arun and the Grand Palace or the popular ICONSiam.
The hotel is centrally located in Sathorn and it's around 10mins - 15mins drive to shopping malls lime Siam Paragon, Platinum Fashion Mall, Terminal 21.

The hotel is close to Silom centre, lots of places to eat (street food galore!), and a couple of train stations, so very convenient.
It's close enough to everything to experience the city and far enough to not be in the middle of everything.
It is not near the BTS station, around 15mins walk away but the hotel offered free shuttle so that’s ok!

The location is also very good, providing a great base for both business and leisure activities in the city.
It’s close to the business district and has a shuttle to the nearby subway station, making travel super convenient!
The location is awful, 30 minutes away from the Temples and activities in town, $15 usd by Grab.

If you value quiet areas over being in the party scene I highly recommend staying in this area.
The area around the hotel has plenty of restaurants and easy access to the MRT and skytrain.
The only negative comment I have is the location of this building in Southern Sathorn rd.

Great hotel in a fairly central location, close to BTS with a handy shuttle service.
I highly recommend anyone visiting Bangkok staying near the city to book this hotel!
Just 3 mins walk to Let's Relax Thai massage which was very convenient.

Where the 2-way traffic is beyond ridiculous at all hours of the day.
One of the things you start to value above all else is location
Nice place located in the heart of the business district on Sathorn Road.

The location is perfect — close to great restaurants, shopping, and transport.
You can walk to Park Silom on Convent Road in 10 minutes.
And you have good places to eat around, recommend Luka and Bartels.

Only 2 BTS stops to Central World, Siam Paragon and MBK.
The location was ideal, making it easy to explore the city.
The location is great if you like to walk around.

The hotel area is not very busy compare to others.
From here you can "walk" almost the entire city.
She also recommended great places around the area.

Great location, walkable to train, restaurants, and markets.
Location also very convenient and safe area.
The location was perfect.

Pool: What guests say
View Ascott Embassy Sathorn Bangkok17 relevant reviews
Guests generally praise the clean, large pool, complete gym and wellness facilities, rooftop setting, and attentive service, with some enjoying lap swimming and views. However, availability may be affected by earthquake repairs; reported drawbacks include construction noise, worn uncomfortable sunbeds, limited changing facilities, shade, and separate payment for pool-bar food and drinks.

The Ascott offered the pool at the Urbana next door by way of compensation but that hotel is very tired and a little run down.
When you want to order a drink or something to eat at the poolbar you have to pay the food and the drinks separately.
입던 옷 훌훌 벗고 팬츠만 입은채로 풀에 뛰어드는 외국인들에겐 별문제 없겠지만, 래시가드로 철통 보안을 유지하는 한국인들에겐 불편함으로 다가올 수 있습니다.

We really enjoyed the pool as well, but the view from the pool was nothing to brag about.
The swimming pool and rooftop terrace/bar were closed for our stay no doubt due to earthquake damage.
Only major downside was construction occurring next door, which made it noisy at the pool.

We used the gym, sauna, steam room, pool, lounge, room service, and everything fantastic.
The gym and swimming pool had complete facilities, perfectly meeting my fitness needs.
탈의 공간은 화장실에 있는데 로커가 필요하다면 직원에게 키를 요청하면 됩니다.

The sun beds around the pool are worn and painful.
This is very uncommon for a 5* hotel.
Large pool, also good for doing swimming laps.

Pool has a great view and service.
I really like the swimming pool
Swimming pool is nice and clean.

Great outdoor pool on 9th floor
Gym and pool gorgeous.
Amazing swimming pool

Piscine à l'ombre.
Must be changed.
Great pool.

수영장은 평범합니다.

Breakfast: What guests say
View Ascott Embassy Sathorn Bangkok14 relevant reviews
Breakfast reviews are mixed: guests praise the 37th-floor buffet’s Western and Asian variety, made-to-order items, noodle soup, reasonable price, and occasional packed breakfasts. Recurring criticisms include cold food, limited selection, average or poor quality, no light continental option, and insufficient choices for gluten-free guests.

Price is reasonable and quality very good but wish they had a continental/ light breakfast option for folks who aren't big eaters.
The breakfast was good, however some of the food wasn’t hot and the selection could have been better.
The breakfast spread had a good mixed of western and Asian selection with daily different options.

The international breakfast on the 37th floor offers many selections and made to order items.
The staff provided beautifully packed breakfast bags for us to eat on the way.
We have only two complains that can be improve, the breakfast quality.

This hotel only has a buffet restaurant for breakfast / brunch.
Breakfast is very delicious. I really like the noodle soup.
Not good compared to other hotels in the other area.

The breakfast spread is adequate but can be better!
Not many options for anyone with gluten allergy.
Breakfast, which I paid for separately, was average.

Le petit déjeuner est très moyen.
Breakfast was decent.
Breakfast was poor.

Food was cold.
Fantastic breakfast buffet
The breakfast

The facilities, especially the pool and gym, were top-notch and made the stay even better.
The hotel has very nice environment with good facilities like the gym and the pool.
In some elevators the airco doesn’t work properly and can be improved.

Great facilities - pool, gym, sauna.
Really nice amenities - no complaints!
The laundry machine was super helpful

Swimming pool is in maintenance.
Also very affordable and flexible.
The amenities were top-notch.

Nice aesthetics and amenities
No basic room service.
Renovation is noisy.

The hotel shuttle service (air conditioned van and open air shuttle) to nearby Sala Daeng or Chong Nonsi BTS, Silom or Lumpini MRT, Dusit Central Park, Silom Complex, Park Silom, One Bangkok or Lumphini Park is an extra bonus.
The shuttle service took a different ride and longer route to the airport due the traffic at that moment of time but I think it was also to avoid highway toll.
We were in a difficult situation with getting to and from the golf course, but she immediately offered the hotel shuttle and took care of everything for us.

I also enjoyed the shuttle that the hotel had that took me to all the convenient location close to major attractions.
We truly appreciated the convenient shuttle service to local rail and bus stations, which made exploring nearby attractions effortless.
The shuttle bus to the BTS was of great help and even picked us up from the BTS.

The airport shuttle was the perfect finale – which was ready 15 minutes early, eliminating all travel stress.
The hotel's shuttle service was very convenient and helped us travel around the city easily.
Free transportation to close by venue or metro is awesome in hot or rainy days.

Easy to get grab service for transportation etc.
Free shuttle bus service provided.
Again not very 5*.

Check-in / Check-out: What guests say
View Ascott Embassy Sathorn Bangkok9 relevant reviews
Check-in is generally quick and welcoming, with staff offering helpful local advice, luggage assistance, and occasional early check-in. Late checkout is inconsistent and often restricted to direct bookings or ASR members, prompting one guest to book an extra night. One guest reported a disputed 3,000 BHT deposit and missing receipt record.

Despite this, on the day of check-out, I received a call from reception informing me that late check-out is only granted to those who book through the hotel’s own website, not through third-party platforms.
However, I was a bit disappointed to learn that late check-out isn’t allowed if the booking is made through Expedia or other third-party sites—it’s only available when booking directly through their website.
And when I told the other team in the front desk all of sudden they say that they don't have a copy of it like I am a liar.

The employee at the front desk in the time of checking in took 3000 BHT deposit from me and her name was MINT.
I don't know why she took a deposit and give me a small paper that somehow I don't know where it was.
She did allow it this time as an exception, but made it clear it wouldn’t be permitted in the future.

I had to book extra night so I can have a 10 pm check out because of my departure flight.
When I checked in, I requested a late check-out and was told it was only available for ASR members.
I kept bouncing between downgrade and upgrade, but at that point my priority was a room with hot water.

The night duty manager was super accommodating by extending my current rate rather than the going rate.
The front desk staff processed check-in quickly and introduced nearby attractions and restaurants in detail—so worry-free!
Much appreciated to front desk staff “Jump” for helping us check in early!

From check-in, the staff’s warm smiles and helpfulness were top-notch.
“Upgrade” because of Platinum status was a pain -
She kindly arranged a late checkout.

Check in was smooth.
직원이 친절하게 짐을 옮겨줍니다.

Not the nicest way to wrap up a holiday, eating takeaway food in your hotel room with inadequate table and chairs, cutlery etc.
Only major quibble is that the on-site restaurant is expensive and lacks vegetarian food, but that obviously will only matter to some.
The description alone was enough to make my mouth water—a unique creation topped with a float of Shiraz.

There are no restaurants on site, but the Grab app has your food delivered right to the hotel.
I am genuinely excited to come back and be one of the first to try it.
Upon arrival told that there isn’t a restaurant open but we can order in food.

He is a true artist and was telling me about his upcoming signature cocktail.
The passion and creativity he puts into his craft are evident.
Food in the hotel was very good, rare sometimes in hotels.

Equally impressive was the bartender, Yo.
Very good Thai cuisine restaurant nearby.
Better on the streets.

It was very convenient.
Food was average.

We used the gym, sauna, steam room, pool, lounge, room service, and everything fantastic.
It was a nice hotel and had all you need Fitness and large pool.
The gym and swimming pool had complete facilities, perfectly meeting my fitness needs.

I also find out the hotel provides free PT service.
I also want to add the gym staff very helpful
I had a 1:1 Muay Thai class with Trin.

Gym and pool gorgeous.
Good gym.
Decent gym.
