Reviews most often describe a modern, clean, comfortable hotel with friendly, attentive service and a convenient Sukhumvit location. Guests also praise the breakfast and dining options, including vegetarian choices, and consider the hotel good value. A few report average or disappointing stays, with one serious complaint about smoking rules and staff professionalism.

Overall, the way this hotel management runs and regulate their policies with regard to smoking in the building / rooms despite this being a non smoking hotel and the passion/ initiative/ professionalism of the staff in this hotel shown is far from any other 4-5 hotels around - do not even mention marriot standards.
We normally stay at the larger Marriott locations downtown but discovered this one and we were super impressed with the personal touches, kind staff, cleanliness, breakfast options and hospitality we were shown.
All in all, the hotel is a good place to late your head, and the food gives value for money in taste (and no, I am not a food connoisseur).

The hotel itself was clean and pleasant, housekeeping does a splendid job every day, and even though it is near a road, you won't hear any noise.
Extremely well located close to Asok BTS station, 5 minutes on foot, near Terminal 21 and Emsphere malls, also 5 minutes on foot.
We loved to stay in your hotel and we will choose your hotel for sure on our next stay in Bangkok

Once again, thank you very much to Courtyard by Marriot to bring us wonderful experience to stayed in Bangkok Sukhumvit hotel.
I would HIGHLY recommend staying at this hotel and WHEN we come back to Thailand we will be staying here again!
We had a very pleasant stay and will definitely look forward to staying with your hotel again in the future.

My family went to Bangkok during the Chinese New Year holidays for a short 5 days 4 nights trip.
Stayed at the Courtyard Marriott Sukhumvit — a comfortable, well-located hotel offering excellent service and good value for money.
Overall, I highly recommend Courtyard by Marriott Bangkok for its exceptional service, friendly staff, prime location, and great value.

Friendly staff, cozy room where everything is well thought out, good selection of dishes on the restaurant menu.
Staying at the Courtyard felt like having the safety of a home away from home.
I will not use this hotel again even if I have to go back.

Overall, we were happy with our stay and can recommend especially to families!
Since opening 3 years ago I stay there a few times.
It was a moment that ruined even my not-so-good accommodation experience.

The stay was average compared to other Marriott courtyard hotels.
A very good hotel at a very reasonable price
If you’re single on business the hotel is ok.

The first impression of the lobby is good.
It was a pleasant stay and comfortable
Unbeatable value for money and impeccable comfort

Would try four points Sheraton next time.
We will come back here very soon.
Everything about this property is 10

Restaurants and dining area was excellent.
We loved everything, a top-notch hotel
Great service at the Courtyard

Staff: What guests say

Staff are repeatedly described as friendly, welcoming, attentive, and quick to help. Concierge staff—especially Potae, along with Tae and Tom—stand out for arranging transport, bookings, deliveries, and local recommendations. Guests also praise thoughtful front-desk assistance, including room arrangements and support during a medical visit, as well as personal touches such as birthday decorations.

ALSO even know we made this booking through Expedia they still treated us like we booked from the website and made sure we received a hotel room right next to our friends who we were traveling with and made a separate booking so they weren’t even aware they we booked together and we didn’t even ask for them to do this (just hoped) and they made our experience in Thailand just that much better.
The above mentioned helped us in arranging a train and private car reservations to/from for a quick getaway to Hua Hin, everything went seamless, helped us with upgraded cabin seats with sleeper (only way to go) they also assisted in many restaurant suggestions that were spot on, coordinating laundry service for us, always with a warm smile.
Special thanks and word of mention to TAE (the concierge) that after a brief ride and me mentioning im looking for a specific tea pot went - without being asked - and did the research on his own and wrote me great instructions on how to get there and where it is!

Special mention to Tom, Perm and Ruti they are very helpful and I like how that they are very accommodating, welcoming and they are always smiling and greet us.
A special thanks to Potae for helping us make all the massage and restaurant reservations, and many thanks to Tom for taking us to the restaurant.
On arrival at the hotel we were greeted by belligerent and defensive staff who argued their point - no communication skills and downright rude.

I’m writing to express my appreciation for one of your staff members, Ne-Ne, for her outstanding service during my family’s stay last week.
Jab has been really good with helping us through the check-in process to making sure we are comfortable with our stay.
We’re incredibly grateful for the kindness and effort from the staff—it turned a simple stay into a cherished family moment.

The only one that have courtesy to check on how to call my name and he called it correctly.
Incredibly friendly staff, they helped us a lot and went out of their way to make us happy
Neab welcomed us warmly, helped with a rooming situation, was so kind and available for any questions.

Thank you to the whole team for making this a birthday trip I will never forget.
I would like to thanks the stuff, especially Mr Eart&Kai for his hospitality and kindness.
Nice and helpful staff at the reception for check-in, friendly and helpful staff in housekeeping

My point of contact was Kung (night manager) who was very professional and helpful.
Staff are very helpful and courteous specially Mr. Tae, Ann and Ms. Ploy.

The concierge Rut and Porte were very very friendly, helpful and considerate.
Thanks to everyone for making the Courtyard Marriott feel like home.
Hotel staff have been extremely courteous and generous with accommodating requests.

Mr. Tae always has a good smile & amazing care.
Staff at hotel are always professional and provide great service.
Potae provided the best concierge service I have experienced.

The staff are always very polite, friendly and attentive
Concierge, Tom & Potae were very helpful and knowledgeable.
The staff are always smiling and happy to serve.

The staff was amazing and so very helpful!

Location: What guests say
View Courtyard by Marriott Bangkok Sukhumvit 20118 relevant reviews
Most guests praise the central Sukhumvit location, with restaurants, bars, shops, convenience stores, and malls such as Terminal 21 within walking distance. BTS and MRT stations are generally about a 7–10-minute walk away; some guests note the walk feels long, traffic can be heavy, and the hotel is not directly on the main road. A shuttle or tuk-tuk to nearby stations or malls is mentioned.

Location: I took the ARL from Suvarnabhumi Airport, transferred to the MRT, and arrived at the nearest station after one stop; it was about a 10-minute walk from the station, but enjoyable for strolling!
The hotel is ideally located in the heart of Sukhumvit, with easy access to BTS and MRT stations, shopping malls, restaurants making it a great base for exploring Bangkok.
But if you are lazy like I was, grabfood grabmart is the way to go! They drop it off at conceige and you can easily pick it up.

The location is excellent — in the heart of Sukhumvit, with restaurants, bars, shops, and massage places within walking distance, and just 7–10 minutes to Asok BTS station.
The location is incredibly convenient — just a short walk to restaurants, cafés, shopping areas M District, and the BTS, making it perfect for both business and leisure.
The hotel is situated in an ideal location, it has convenient access to Asok BTS Station which is a lifesaver in view of the notorious Bangkok traffic jam.

The hotel did not provide bath mat and the floor in the shower was so slippery that my mom fell off and injured her foot.
I would recomend it to anyone who has a long trip for business and wants a hastle free experience in the center of Bangkok.
The location is fairly convenient, situated between the Asok and Phrom Phong areas, with shopping malls, restaurants, and BTS stations within walking distance.

Great boutique Hotel for a quick trip to Bangkok right in the middle of the city center walking distance to everything you need.
Location is great right next to emsphere which is a new mall really trendy and amazing food court with really good food choices.
It’s such a peaceful spot, and I love how close it is to Terminal 21 and Ensphere just a short walk away!

The location was very close to metro and Asok BTS which you could use to go to most tourist sites in Bangkok.
Location is not so great as we need to spent on avg 300 bath to reach any important location
Surprisingly a charming hotel within walking distance of many restaurants and shops with easy access to local transportation.

Perfect location, in the very center, within walking distance there is everything necessary for a comfortable stay.
There is a shuttle truck? from the hotel to the nearest station, albeit one way.
The hotel is a nice hideaway from the always busy Asoke to EM District area.

Close to a major road within walking distance to Nana BTS and major malls.
The location is pretty nice, surrounded with various bars, restaurants, massage shops.
Soi 20 is a nice little street - some good restaurants nearby.

The location was conveniently located near three modes of public transportation.
Very well located and everything you need is within walking distance.
Close to everything and an easy walk to almost everywhere.

The location is convenient with shuttle service to Skytrain stations.
Nice option in Sukhumvit, slightly off the main road
Excellent location, there are shopping centers and restaurants nearby.

Location was near to BTS so its convenient.
The location of the hotel is excellent
Its in a high traffic zone.

Rooms: What guests say
View Courtyard by Marriott Bangkok Sukhumvit 20111 relevant reviews
Rooms are repeatedly described as clean, comfortable, modern, and well-kept, with cozy beds and well-appointed bathrooms; some guests found them spacious, including rooms with two queen beds or connecting rooms for families. Size is inconsistent but often a drawback: several reviews call rooms very small, especially for three people or multiple suitcases. Other reported issues include poor soundproofing, noisy air-conditioning, stained bedding, and occasional housekeeping or amenity omissions.

The rooms are a bit small, and the one we were assigned at first could hear all the noise from the air conditioning outside, it was impossible to rest there, but we requested a room change, which they kindly granted us and improved the situation.
We were given a choice to use a lower grade room as waiting room which we denied, and was then offered a faux upgrade to a larger room that was highly faulty with leaking water, stinky pipe, and view of bird poop.
Initially, I was given a room on the 8th floor, but the noise, which seemed to come from the outdoor unit, exceeded tolerable levels, so I had it changed to a room on the 3rd floor.

Sound proofing was quite bad- both at the main door where any movement in the corridor would be heard and through the glazed opening on the road side
Disappointed as for my last trip, the concierge said they will provide me with free breakfast and upgrade my room for my next trip but wasn’t given.
Overall, the room was great especially the bathroom, but the extra bed was not clean, which is not what you would expect from a Marriott property.

Also, getting to the room via the restaurant is a bit of a turnoff, but I guess someone thought it "wise" to tempt us with food.
The only small comment is that the room is just a tad small - but never a problem since we spend more time outside than inside!
Felt like a very old building, when I stepped out of the elevator on level two, it reeked of dust and poor ventilation, old carpets.

The Room 9/10: We chose a room with 2 double beds and it was perfect for our family of 2 Adults and 2 Kids.
You can order room service or grab food delivered to hotel lobby if you are too lazy to step out of the hotel.
The rooms are quite small and the curtains shade did not block the sun or the light which bothered me a little bit.

I had to endure 3 straight days of the common corridor smelling heavily in smoke as though we are in a ktv!
Also not all the lights were working in the room, and the position of our room meant it was pretty dark.
The room was very small, so for a family (2–3 suitcases), you end up bumping into the furniture

Basic things like water bottles, glass for water and coffee were missing not available for 3 people.
The room was comfortable, clean, and equipped with the standard amenities expected from a Marriott property.
My room was a connecting room, and the soundproofing between the rooms was not very good.

The room was clean, comfortable, and of a good size, and the bathroom was well-appointed.
Rooms are new and do the job as you would expect with the courtyard brand.
Hotel itself (am not sure is it newly renovated) was extremely new and clean!

Also, the suite bathroom drainage seemed a little clogged, with water flowing quite slowly.
Not enough sunlight in the room although we were on the fifth floor
Room is clean, spacious and so is the gym which I appreciated.

Our room was nice and quiet for the first 4 nights.
Booked a 2 double bed room, with extra single bed.
Hotel was really clean, well equipped and bed was comfortable.

We didn’t get a room with a good view
One of the cleanest rooms during our Asia trip.
The hotel room was very clean and comfortable.

Breakfast: What guests say
View Courtyard by Marriott Bangkok Sukhumvit 2070 relevant reviews
Breakfast was repeatedly praised for its freshness, quality, and broad Thai, Western, and other Asian choices, with made-to-order eggs and attentive staff noted. Some guests found the selection limited or repetitive, especially for vegetarians and children; bakery items sometimes ran out, and managing occupied tables could be confusing during busy periods.

The breakfast area is smaller than larger hotels but each option was quality and there was plenty of variety with the advantage of no crowds to get the food.
It’s hard for the staff to know if a guest has left to get more food or are done with their meal if they don’t have any belongings.
Perhaps what could be better is a flip card that the customer could turn to say they’re done with the meal and staff don’t have to guess.

My table got assigned to someone else while I was waiting for my bagel, despite my drink and used utensils being still on the table.
Breakfast: There was a great variety, and the egg dishes, where you could choose the type of noodles and cooking method, were tasty.
One area for improvement would be the variety of breakfast options - it felt a bit limited, especially for kids.

Breakfast was excellent, and as a Bonvoy member, they seated us in a quiet area of the dining room.
They have a little standee that says this table is occupied but I’m guessing it’s not working that well.
Didn’t consider the breakfast because of pricing was high especially not expecting US corporate pricing structure

The breakfast offered a good variety of options, indian section was not so good though.
Breakfast was a highlight, with a delicious and varied selection of international and local dishes.
We didn't have the chance to eat breakfast because of our early daily schedule.

I was travelling with my infant and they were not ready sterilise milk bottles.
Breakfast was nice with elaborated with choices of Western, Thai, Japanese, Chinese, and Indian.
At times the bakery items like chocolate croissant were finished and not replenished.

The eggs could be ordered on a slip with options to be marked.
Nice breakfast but would be better if there are fresh juice every day.
Empty plates in the breakfast table have only be removed once we left

One thing I’d feedback on improvement is the management of the breakfast crowd.
The service at the restaurant was attentive, and the food quality exceeded expectations.
The Foods were at its best!! Perfect breakfast and in-room dining <3

There were many breakfast choices and all were yummy.
Just a minor oversight which I’m sure wasn’t intentional.
The breakfast spread was always presentable and appetizing.

Exceptional breakfast, best night’s sleep in Thailand!
Breakfast buffet spread and quality is good.
Super delicious breakfast with plenty of choices.

The bed and breakfast were fine.
Breakfast and dinned high quality.
There are many breakfast options.

Check-in / Check-out: What guests say
View Courtyard by Marriott Bangkok Sukhumvit 2023 relevant reviews
Check-in and checkout were often described as smooth and quick, with staff sometimes arranging very early check-in, late checkout, and post-checkout showers. Experiences varied: some guests reported lengthy check-in, rooms not ready, and payment or checkout-charge disputes. One family also faced an extra-payment request for a child and was told the child could not have breakfast.

I showed my reservation confirmation and said this was the first time I experienced this, but they just handed me their bill and said it was something to resolve with Booking.com.
With an early cheek in and late cheek out, allowing me to use hotel facilities such as a shower after cheek out (I had a midnight flight out).
For a deposit of 1,000 Baht, they wanted a credit card instead of the debit card (with which I had recently checked in smoothly at another hotel).

This is no fault of the staff but it should be looked into as my other experiences with Marriott properties had a seamless payment via the app.
But Noab had other ideas. He told me that he was going to make an exception and let me have an available room immediately.
Also, at checkout, they asked for an additional 10% service charge and 7% VAT on top of the amount I booked through Booking.com.

When we checked out before going for Songkran, he arranged for our bags to be kept safe plus shower facility for us.
Once that was cleared up they informed us that the child couldn’t have breakfast because he was staying for free.
In particular Khun Nene who helped me with my midnight arrival through to an much appreciated early check in.

Our rooms weren't ready upon check-in so we had to go back to get the keys to our rooms.
Wanted extra payment for child staying in room, even though it was clearly stated on the booking.
A special mention goes to **Jard** (sorry if I spell it wrongly), who assisted us at check-in.

I was expecting they would do their best and perhaps give me a room around noon.
From checking in to checking out, this hotel was a highlight of our stay in Bangkok.
Shoutout to Gwen and Mimi who were extremelt warm and helpful with early check in.

My flight arrived from Canada at 0345, WELL before any normal check in allows.
Was disappointed the hotel couldn’t accommodate fully my request for a late check out.
However, we did encounter some problems and restrictions with the payment.

Help with arranging cars, spas and everything else we wanted.
The check in process took a lot of time.
Make the check in process fast and easy.

Also thanks for helping on delayed check out.
Check-in and check-out were smooth and efficient.
The check-in was incredibly complicated and lengthy.

Nene was the best at check in.
Easy check in and check out.
Check-in and check-out process was quick.

Thank you for the room allocation.
They need to do it faster.
Faster front office service

Facilities: What guests say
View Courtyard by Marriott Bangkok Sukhumvit 2021 relevant reviews
Guests often praised the hotel’s cleanliness, comfort, and modern facilities. Opinions on the pool and gym were mixed: some found them clean and well equipped, while others said they were small, crowded, or short on equipment; the pool also gets little sun and has limited seating. Other recurring drawbacks included slow Wi-Fi and a small, sometimes busy lift. Tuk-tuk or hourly shuttle service was appreciated.

One minor drawback is that the hotel only has one lift, and it is quite small, which can sometimes lead to waiting during busy periods.
There is a shuttle every hour to the Asok station. We didn't use it because it's a short distance on foot as well
The pool is small has limited amount of chairs and is in the shade of surrounding buildings for most part of the day

The hotel also offers great facilities, including a well-equipped fitness center and a relaxing pool area—perfect for unwinding after a busy day.
I stayed at a hotel nearby the week before, and the sites were working there, so this is really frustrating.
Allowing me to use hotel facilities such as a shower after cheek out (I had a midnight flight out).

The only downside is that the elevator is a bit too small for such a large building.
I had urgent work to handle, but it was at a level where I couldn't do anything.
We appreciated the comfort and the very efficient concierge services that helped us with a lost suitcase.

The place is super clean, comfy, and in a great location very easy to get around.
The hotel provided tuk tuk drop facility to the nearby mall well connected to BTS.
The Twenty & One Lounge offers a nice quiet spot to wind down and chill.

The internet was bad and could barely make me make it for a work meeting.
Very few equipment and gets crowded if there are more than 3 people.
Would much prefer mirror in front of wash basin / vanity top.

Facilities like the gym and pool were modern and super clean.
Shower flooring was slippery and would suggest non slip materials
Great hotel with excellent service to provide shuttle service.

Bath mat should be provided by default without asking.
Not many F&B choices around the area.
The fitness center is small as well

The hotel was neat and clean
The bathroom was way to neat
The Wi-Fi speed is too slow.

Well done on the taxi booking.
Plenty of affordable massage choices.
The facilities were five star.

Everything is new and clean.
Poor facilities
Comfort!

Transport: What guests say
View Courtyard by Marriott Bangkok Sukhumvit 2017 relevant reviews
The hotel is roughly an 8–15-minute walk from BTS/MRT, but guests frequently praise its free shuttle to Asok/Terminal 21 and Emporium; reported schedules range from hourly to every two hours. One guest said staff arranged a special ride after a missed shuttle. Airport pickup drew a serious complaint about unclear directions and a long wait, while Sukhumvit traffic can make walking faster at peak times.

If you are fortunate enough to get any sensible communication from this Marriott owned hotel , they don’t tell you that your hotel pick up doesn’t run to flight schedules but rather an hourly service with hear impossible to find which section of the airport the shuttle leaves from!
After arriving from Melbourne after a 9 hour flight and wandering around trying to find where the pick up Point was we were finally told that the shuttle would be another hour away!
While it’s a good 15- minute walk from the BTS and MRT train stations, the hotel does have free shuttle service to the BTS.

I missed the shuttle service from their standard time schedule, and they are willing to drive me to Asok station as a special service.
There are also free shuttles to either Asoke or Emporium if you are lazy to walk for about 15mins.
Booked this hotel months in advance - confirmed the booking and pick up at Bangkok international airport.

The hotel also offer shuttle service to and fro the ashoke BTS / terminal 21 mall.
The hotel is a bit away from BTS , but the shuttle service can over it.
A bit far from the BTS but a regular shuttle is included at the hotel

They don't offer a hotel transfer service but are happy to call you a taxi
Sent me to terminal 21 via the shuttle service for a good meal.
However, they provide a shuttle every two hours, which is very helpful.

Then you have the very convenient shuttle service to Asoke and Emporium.
Need to walk 8 to 10min to reach the nearest BTS.
He is a careful and safety is his top priority.

We organised our own taxi at cost of 500 bah!
He gently pointed to me the direction to BTS.
Their airport transfer service was smooth and very helpful.

Shuttle bus Driver Tom is friendly and helpful.
Free shuttle bus service from Hotel to BTS
Awesome to have him serving in Courtyard.

Be aware of traffic on Sukhumvit road.
During peak hours walking would be easier.
Near metro station, which is a plus!

They offered free shuttle every hour.
Shuttle service was a big plus!!
Use Grab for booking taxi.

Pool: What guests say
View Courtyard by Marriott Bangkok Sukhumvit 2015 relevant reviews
Guests often enjoyed the rooftop pool, describing it as pleasant, clean, quiet, and a relaxing addition alongside the sauna; it is small and overlooked by high-rises. It is open 6:00 AM–10:00 PM, though one guest found the stairs dangerous. Maintenance closures were not always communicated, and the neighboring hotel’s pool was a cumbersome alternative for some.

The alternative offer to use the pool at the neighboring hotel was not really a viable option, as the journey there was too cumbersome and one does not want to walk through the streets of Bangkok in flip-flops and swimwear.
There was some emergency closure of the swimming pool, but we could use the pool in the adjacent hotel, which was a great option because our kids were looking forward to swimming!
The pool was not available at all times due to maintenance work, which was neither communicated beforehand nor taken into account in the price.

The pool area was cozy and I liked the long opening hours (6:00 AM - 10:00 PM).
The swimming pool stairs are rather dangerous but thats fine to pay more attention on the steps.
Pool closed - able to use the hotel just across the road which was fab.

The pool on the top floor is small and overlooked by tall high rise buildings.
The pool is smaller but clean and quiet and we enjoyed our time up there.
A rooftop swimming pool on level 7, which we didn’t try but looked inviting.

The hotel has a nice rooftop pool plus tucked away is a dry sauna!
The pool and sauna were a nice addition to chill and relax.
We arrived early enough to use their beautiful pool.

The pool was lovely, very luxurious.
Pool quite nice design and enjoyable.
The pool is very pleasant.

The pool was underwhelmed.
Lovely pool

Restaurant: What guests say
View Courtyard by Marriott Bangkok Sukhumvit 2013 relevant reviews
Restaurant feedback is mostly positive, with guests praising delicious food, exceptional dinner and breakfast buffets, and distinctive traditional Thai cooking; Pad Thai is specifically recommended. One guest found the food average and overpriced, while another raised a concern about ensuring halal food is properly handled and separated.

The restaurant tagged for the halal food and I already advise the hotel to ensure the separation properly because halal not just on label but also the way of handling it.
Since I am in the Halal roles, so it is important for me to remind :)
I enjoyed a dinner and breakfast at the restaurant - all the food was lovely.

The food is exceptionally delicious, a unique and powerful expression of traditional Thai cooking.
We had dinner one time at the hotel restaurant.
The food was amazing and the staff were polite.

But you should try Padthai at this hotel.
Also the food was average and grossly overpriced.
It didn't feel like a Marriott property.

Food is also very nice.
Restaurant dinner buffet was excellent
The food is delicious

The restuarant was excellent.
The buffet was exceptional.
Loved the food.

Good food.
Buffet exceptional.

Used the gym and it is small but enough equipment to get sweat, very nice!
The gym equipment was not up to standard of everything else’s offered by this property.
Room is clean, spacious and so is the gym which I appreciated.

Treadmill and elliptical were good but the other machines were lacking.
The hotel has a small but well-equipped gym.
The fitness room could use some additional machines.

A gym that is also very nice.
The gym is well equipped and clean.
Gym and pool.
