The hotel is rated 4 stars, but everything about it is 5-star. It seems to be rated 4 stars because it does not have a wedding hall, which, for me and many tourists, is not important.
Visiting Bangkok and staying at Doubletree Ploenchit is like hanging out with an old friend. It’s familiar, comfortable and fills your heart with a quiet joy.
From the start of my arrival to the end of my journey, I enjoyed my stay and wished to extend my holiday.

Another great stay at DoubleTree. The owner is very blessed to have a great person in charge of this hotel.
The combination of professionalism and friendliness is unequaled (even in Bangkok) and the attention to detail is evident .
It was lovely and provided me a soothing stay during my short trip, and I will be back!

A good hotel, but the top floor could do with some renovation given the current level of luxury.
Stayed in 3 hotels during our round trip,Malaysia/Penang & Bangkok, the stay in Bangkok was the best
And stayed at Dou le Tree for 3 nights. Our experience was phenomenal. Would highly recommend.

As a Diamond member, I received great benefits that added extra value to my stay.
Stayed there a couple of times now since the take over but lacking in comfort
Overall, staying here was a really nice experience and I will be coming again.

You expect a certain standard from Hilton, partly because the price is so high.
A little overpriced for what you get. The decor is a bit basic.
Inexpensive for the area in a smart modern hotel but spoilt by location.

We are so very thankful for the time that we spend there.
The hotel is wonderful; we can certainly recommend that everyone stay here.
Overall, it was a very convenient and enjoyable place to stay.

For be Hilton Honors members they gave a lot of privilege
I've never seen a cockroach in hundreds of Bangkok hotel rooms.
No frills just all around good service and immaculate ambience.

Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a wonderful stay!
I had a very good stay at the hotel.
“The hotel is quite luxurious, clean, and really nice.”

A lovely and clean hotel with very friendly staff.
And then after that I focus on overall experience such as people, hotel refresh (if it appears old and dated or lacking maintenance). Being a Hilton diamond member I care about brand execution in terms of my expectations when staying at a Hilton hotel brand.
My 5th stay here redeemed my last stay two years ago that was just lackluster and not the usual standard that I have experienced in the past (when it came to service and the overall feel) at this usually very dependable Hilton hotel.

I won't stay at this hotel again. I travel quite a lot for work, but this time it was disappointing. It's not worth the price, especially in Bangkok, which has lovely hotels with friendlier staff at more affordable prices.
I stayed there two years ago and returned because I liked the hotel. I will visit again and tell my family and friends how beautiful the hotel is and how helpful its staff are.
I heard from your staff the hotel is set for closure next year. That will be a sad day because the old hotel has such style and grace very sad to see it go!

The staff were very polite and welcoming, all staff were also happy and smiling and took the time out to help arrange travel, give advice on locations to visit etc. They all were so lovely with our 1 year old son and wanted to talk and play with him. very pleasant experience, thanks so much.
Head concierge Sam who does a outstanding job is supported by Bobo, Ryu, Tum, Aof, Tui, and Leng. Bobo has joined myself on several occasions. With my limited Thai language skills and his bilingual skills, he has been very helpful and great company for exploring Thailand.
A special thank you to the reception team, especially May and Sanan. They were exceptionally kind, welcoming, and always willing to help with a smile. Their professionalism and genuine hospitality made me feel truly valued as a guest.

The staff was just excellent especially for breakfast the chef will come the front office manager supervisor everyone helping not sitting in the office it was a pleasure to see how the team coordinates
But most of all super friendly staff. If you go please ask for Khun Sanan. He provided most attentive and friendly service. Other servers including May, Pik, Ice were also extremely friendly.
The standout part of our stay was the exceptional service from Soda and Man. They were friendly, professional, and genuinely went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable.

Ashwin is supported by Eva Xu director of operations and Soda front desk manager.. They're very detail orientated and ensure all guests are satisfied with their stays.
And our server Sanan remembers us and always gives us great service with a warm smile and will help you out if you need anything.
Combined with excellent service. Special thanks to Meaw, Pix, and Pang — they were incredibly attentive, friendly, and genuinely caring throughout our meal.

Thank you to Khun Oil for taking good care of us, and to the whole team for making our stay so enjoyable.
We needed little things like a comb and mouthwash; they responded very quickly on WhatsApp and brought them to our room.
The staff service was excellent; they were very friendly from the moment you arrive and always willing to resolve any problem.

The front desk lady (Just ) is great and we are very lucky to meet a person of her capacity
The staff are consistently helpful and attentive, with special thanks to Patt, Ann, and Thip for their outstanding service.
We had a great night with a memorable service of Mr. Sanan , staff at the OPEN restaurant.

Whenever I had a question or request, someone was always there with a smile and a quick solution.
I have met old staff like Mr. Sanan at dining room. He is friendly smiley and helpful.
Very lovely staff. Thank you Thip and Soda for making my stay smooth. Kop khun ka.

Everyone was kind and went above and beyond to make sure that we enjoyed our stay.
Also at the front desk was Soda who really was attentive to our needs ...
The reception is excellent, and the check-in process is quick. The staff are very helpful.

The front desk upgraded me from a standard room to a corner big room.
Thanks Patt for the good service and upgrade. They really make thing right.
Huge thanks to the lovely Soda on reception for arranging everything for me.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, especially Jumper in the FB Team.
May and Meaw in the restaurant, who were superb at handling my specific meal requests (such as extra garlic, which is my magic trick for staying healthy despite many long work trips! Thank you May and Meaw for your understanding and assistance); Sam, the truly outstanding Concierge, and his entire, always-helpful and -friendly team; and the amazing MM at the front desk who has earned the “2026 Memory of an Elephant Award” for remembering me from my previous stay in October, 2025. How she did that, given all of the guests she has dealt with in the intervening 7 months, I have no earthly idea! In addition to having a superior memory, she is also consistently cheerful and friendly. The entire team at this hotel is very impressive, and thanks to all.
All the staff is super friendly and always greet us with a warm smile every time they see us. I would love to give a special thanks to Khun Soda that go above and beyond to make my family stay extra special! Thank you the front desk team, Khun Just, Khun Jew, Khun Bombay, Khun Way, Khun Thip, Khun Nicha, Khun Man and Khun Sam that taking a good care of us during the stay and make us feel like home!

What really made it was the staff the concierge are really helpful, I had to receive an important phone call, they went out of their way to make sure that I got it. But overall, the staff were fantastic. Lai and another gentleman who I don’t know his name but who help me with my bags and gave me some tips about the market were wonderful. I felt like they couldn’t do enough to help me.
Only after I pointed out that we hadn’t heard any apology did they offer us a bottle of wine. We said we didn’t drink alcohol, but they left it in the room anyway. Unfortunately, the staff didn’t offer us a choice of something useful to us (dinner, an airport transfer, a massage)—something that would have genuinely helped us, or that would have shown a real desire to make things right.
Overall, This hotel really impressed us with its attention to detail. It's the little things—the thoughtful touches, the genuine kindness of the staff, the care put into every meal—that made our stay memorable. My parents absolutely loved it, and so did I. Huge thanks again to Khun Man, Charles, and the entire team for giving us such a wonderful experience. We'll definitely be back.

What wasn’t so good was that some rooms have a connecting door, and you can hear everything the neighbor says normally in the room; we wanted to go to the top floor to enjoy the view, but the windows were so dirty on the outside that you could hardly see anything
The hotel is old; everything is worn out... Besides, I paid for a deluxe room, and it was exactly the same as the room my travel companion paid for, which was considerably cheaper, just three floors lower.
It would be helpful to have a mirror in the bedroom, even a medium-sized one, in addition to the mirror already available in the bathroom. (It could be available in different rooms)

He said he didn't understand that “deluxe” meant higher up, even though it was only three floors and the room was just as old, with practically the same views.
The rooms were not as expected, especially the blankets, which were old and unsuitable for Thailand’s climate, and the humidity level in the rooms was extremely high.
The beds are so soft and comfortable, i could sleep all day, everything in the room is perfect, has everything you expect and more.

As soon as one left the elevator the smell was breath talking in the corridor and perminated into my room, it stank!!
Unfortunately, our room was not clean. The room was also very uninviting; there was a plastic table and an office chair.
The pillow in the rooms needs serious upgrade as it was difficult to adjust with such kind of pillows

I had to go all the way up to my room just to use the toilet while swimming.
The cleanliness of the room, along with its pleasant scent, contributed greatly to a truly restful stay.
You can book $130 a night through a smaller motel and has a huge comfortable room

Bed Pillow Blanket are all nice and make me did not want to wake up
Since I’ve stayed here before, I can tell the rooms are showing their wear.
The room was basic but tidy. It was cleaned properly every day. Very nice.

They could have put me on another floor or other dude of the hallway.
A room change was necessary and this was facilitated quickly with no fuss
The room is spacious, and they gave me a room overlooking ...

The room is clean and wonderful, and the bed is very comfortable.
Its OK but the first room needs updated shower drain area.
The room size is a decent, very clean, and comfortable bed.

We loved the room, very spacious with a great bathtub.
Hurt my leg many times on the bed frame corner.
From a standard room to a corner big room.

TV casting feature does not work. No coffee machine.
- Met my expectation with a high floor however the city view seems limited due to the gap between the room and the pillars of the building which blocks 25% of the room. The small balcony which cannot be accessible seems to provide a blockage as well of the city view. My view can only be seen with an angle of 30 degrees and cannot see further down due to the blockage.
The room could not be aired out because the windows are fixed. It was also not possible to ventilate it using the air conditioning, as the fans were set far too aggressively; we constantly felt short of oxygen in the room. There was virtually no ventilation in the bathroom, which would be useful after using the toilet in such a small bathroom or taking a long shower because of the steam.

In room 8010, the electrical system regularly shuts off suddenly and by itself at 3:00 a.m. I am left in complete darkness and cannot see anything. I cannot even see how to call the lobby in the pitch dark. All attempts to repair it and the intervention of the electrical technician have not helped. This ongoing situation is very dangerous for me...
Room - We booked 2 rooms, a deluxe king for 2 and premium king for our 3 teenage girls. The reception tried their best give us two rooms on the same floor but they could not. We were not too concerned as the girls could manage themselves. It was slightly inconvenient because we could not go to each other's rooms
I booked two rooms with king beds, but the hotel gave us rooms with twin beds instead, which was disappointing. They also placed me and my friend on different floors (8 and 10), so we couldn’t visit each other’s rooms and had to meet only in the lobby because the elevator doesn’t give access to other floors.

One of the best things about this hotel is its convenient location. It is within easy walking distance of both Nana and Ploen Chit BTS stations, which made getting around the city very easy, and there are also several shopping malls nearby, so it was great for both transportation and leisure.
The location is very good. It’s very near nana/Ploenchit station which is afew stops away from main shopping area like Siam & Chit rom. It’s walking distance to some of the clubs as well.
Quiet, with an excellent location. It is far from MBK and Siam Square, but taking a taxi makes them close. However, on some days the traffic was unbearably heavy.

Walking to the BTS is a bit further than other hotels I stayed in the past but I know this when making the booking.
The hotel’s location is far from the noise, making it very suitable for families who like to stay near Arab Street
Near the hotel, there is a small mall with a coffee shop and a restaurant opposite the Le Méridien Hotel.

The location was perfect, close to all the major shopping centers and safe neighborhoods, as well as the metro
Be aware that Bangkok has two DoubleTree Hilton hotels, so you don't go to the wrong one.
A great hotel if you want to spend a few days in the center of Bangkok.

The location was also really good , just a 10min walk to the BTS station.
Central embassy mall is nearby, if anybody wishes to shop from the top brands.
The place is close to everything; it’s a five-minute walk to Arab Street.

The location is excellent, close to Arab Nana Street and restaurants and cafes.
If i visit bangkok again this hotel will be my first choice.
The hotel's location in the capital, Bangkok, is convenient for us.

The location of the hotel is close to the Arab region
Quiet neighborhood but close to most of the popular places.
Excellent location just steps from the Skytrain and the metro.

It was a great base for sightseeing in Bangkok.
Good location for a couple of days in Bangkok
The location is so nice of the hotel

And the hotel is in a great location.
The hotel’s location is excellent and distinctive.
Great place to stay - location wise,

Location is good. Near BTS and accessible.
Next to it is a small mall with McDonald's, Starbucks, a pharmacy, and a small supermarket. The mall also has Beirut Restaurant. I liked its location: it is not right in the middle of the crowds, but it is close to them if you want them, and close to everything else. Arab Street is a 5-minute walk away, and the large mall at the main station, Terminal 21, is only a 10-minute walk away. It is also close to many restaurants and cafés, and Arabesque Arabic Restaurant is on the same street as the hotel, a 2-minute walk away.
The hotel is located 300 meters from the main road. It is a comfortable place away from the noise, and you can get around on foot. It is an 8-minute walk from Nana Station, 6 minutes from Arab Street, and 6 minutes from Blum Shat. It is also near upscale shopping malls such as Central Chidlom and Emporium.

Excellent location Excellent location for a family. Just bordering the crazy night streets of Sukhamvit and easy access to shopping centers. Nana is just 5 minutes walk. We used to walk down to both night streets as well as shopping centers of Siam. Siam however is 20 to 30 min walk.
Although it’s conveniently located (walking distance) in between the two BTS station i.e. Phloen Chit and Nana - the Soi (street) where the hotel is, is a bit mundane e.g. there is an on-going construction site opposite and the next door Phloen Chit Center that is quiet in the evening.
Located on Sukhumvit Soi 2, the immediate surroundings are pleasantly quiet without the usual Bangkok traffic chaos and noises. Byt the property is within walking distance of Ploenchit BTS station. Infact, it's within walking distance to Rajprasong shopping area, and just a couple of train stations away from Siam.

Breakfast quality was more than disappointing: the cheese was rock-hard and had to be broken apart; desserts were often dried out; there were virtually no meat or fish dishes. During our eight-day stay, our table was cleared or cutlery brought over only once. Seven of the nine coffees were brought incorrectly or poorly prepared despite our explanations. There was often more sauce than food in the serving dishes, many dishes were lukewarm or almost cold, and the plates were often cold too (because they are placed by the air-conditioning vents), etc. The bacon was poor quality, as were many other dishes.
Because I’d booked a room without breakfast, I said I’d pay for breakfast, and my husband was downstairs getting the card. She said, “No, you can come in if your husband brings the card.” I said, “I’m a guest at the hotel, and I’ve also paid a deposit.” She said, “No, you won’t be allowed in.” As soon as my husband came down, I took the card and went to eat at the JW Marriott Hotel 😂👌
We didn't have the breakfast option with our room, as the cost was USD $19 per person which we felt was pretty high. There is just about everything that you could want for breakfast, very nice, however if you just want a simple breakfast with coffee and a croissant there are many nearby options for a lot less.

The breakfast selection is varied. You can ask the chef to prepare pho and egg dishes, so you can eat them freshly made. Besides bread, yogurt, and salad, there are 3–4 kinds of fruit (no mango), sausage, scrambled eggs, bacon, pancakes, fried rice, and more. ... Overall, all the food is delicious. The chocolate muffins are tasty.
The breakfast buffet has no food specifically for Arabs and Muslims, or Arabic food. Breakfast is limited to Asian dishes such as Chinese, Thai, and Indian food. Even the barista does not do their job properly and serves you coffee unprofessionally.
Plus, the breakfast area is small and the is not enough seating for everyone. Apparently, you need to reserve a breakfast table one day before, but we were not informed about this during

I also don’t think the breakfast was very nice and was extremely expensive for what they had to offer £18 gbp! Wasn’t worth half that amount.
Breakfast was fantastic, lots of choice and loved the daily drink offering. Was a lovely gesture and I had some lovely drinks.
Noticed a slight reduction in the choice of breakfast menu.It was my 3rd stay in 5 months, felt the difference.

The milk-steaming nozzle on the coffee machines at breakfast did not look as though it was cleaned regularly.
The breakfast was more show than substance. The quality left no room for a positive review.
The food, especially the breakfast, was excellent for quality value and the range available.

This matter should rightly be brought urgently to the attention of the hotel manager!!!
The cleanliness, location, breakfast buffet, and reception area are all wonderful and lovely.
The breakfasts are excellent, with several stations featuring dishes from different regions.

Jumper and his team’s on point with their service at breakfast.
My friend fell sick and they sent her up some toast.
Specially the breakfast was excellent with many varius of selection

As for breakfast, honestly, I did not have breakfast there.
Buffet breakfast will not be served to our rooms.
Fantastic staff! Delicious breakfast, lots to choose from.

The breakfast is varied, courteous, European and local.
Breakfast had a large variety of foods
The breakfast was also quite good.

The breakfast is adequate and fresh.
Breakfast menu is the same !
The breakfast buffet was good.

Breakfast spread is also good
May, Ice, and Dream
— especially the breakfast.

The lobby may not be as grand as some luxury hotels, but the layout is smart and easy to navigate. What really stood out was the Chinese New Year decoration-it was everywhere, warm and festive, and genuinely made us feel at home the moment we walked in.
We needed to store one large suitcase for five days while we traveled to Krabi and retrieve a smaller one later the same day. He handled everything with great care and organized the storage thoughtfully and efficiently.
The hotel has been completely renovated. Its former name was Grand Majestic, and it used to be my favorite hotel in Bangkok. It has changed ownership and been completely renovated in terms of furniture and décor.

The Wi-Fi only worked if mobile data was turned off. This was inconvenient because when leaving, you had to remember to turn mobile data back on. It was very inconvenient when ordering a taxi.
Also we were here 2 weeks ago before we started island hopping and we werde able to leave our small luggage’s here for two weeks which is such a nice service that they offer
There are approximately 20 floors, but only two elevators. However, they are fast, and during the 14 days I did not see any crowding in front of the elevators because of their quick response.

There renovating and should tell the customer...one lift only working ....not really a pleasant place to stay ..and they ask for top dollar to stay there...i was conned because of renovating work being
My stay in May'19 the lobby is being fully renovated, so a small hallway to the elevator, concierge at a table by the street, reception at the business center on the 7th floor.
There is a food delivery point to prevent strangers from entering along with the security in the elevator where you need to scan your room card to go to your floor.

The hotel team was extremely supportive and helped me keep my breast milk and ice packs in the freezer throughout my stay. Their help made everything much easier for me.
The bar being in front of the elevator isn’t good; it would be better if it were by the restaurant facing the street.
They also offered money exchanged so we were able to exchange our cash to baht with a really good rate.

Drinks at the bar were expensive so I went out instead but cool set up and looked great.
There is a clean outdoor smoking area next to the lobby and opposite the restaurant.
But made good use of their coffee bar when a caffeine shot was needed

The warm cookie on arrival was a lovely touch after the long haul.
For smokers, a very pleasant little area is provided for you :)
There are only 2 elevators, which is a bit too few.

Everything about the hotel is great, from its luxury and cleanliness
The lobby has been renovated and the elevators have been renovated.
Definitely stick to the hotel - it looks very clean.

Bar area dreadful and no comfy seating just high stools.
Facilities around the hotel itself is not the best,
Construction going on, hopefully more facilities in the future

The cleanliness needs more attention, but it was clean.
The dining room air conditioning is very cold.
Only 1 of the 2 elevators were working.

Building design, interior, sense of security, facilities
The hotel has recently remodeled as well.
And the amenities were top level

On the food: Breakfast and dinner were both excellent. Lots of variety, plenty of hot options, and a good balance between Thai flavors and dishes that suit a Chinese palate. The New Year's Eve buffet was a real treat—the monthly theme happened to be Chinese food, and everything from the Pad Thai to the steamed fish and coconut ice cream was clearly made with care. You could tell the chefs actually put thought into the food, not just mass production.
The food was delicious, and we’d also like to thank Chef Knight. When my brother first asked about the roasted chicken, there was some confusion, but Chef Knight kindly explained that the whole roasted chicken was for display. He made things clear and still went the extra mile by providing a drumstick for my brother, which we really appreciated. That kind of thoughtful service made a difference.
The food was delicious across almost every dish, with a wide variety to choose from. The chef crafted each dish with great flavor—even the spicy ones were rich in aroma and tempting to try. The dessert selection was equally impressive, especially the ice cream, which came in several flavors and had a smooth, fragrant texture that surpassed many others we’ve tried.

They need another resteraunt really as small for hotel capacity. They excel at local cuisine and would recommend. But .... for Mediterranean food and Arabic not so good. When busy need to have more staff on, behind counters and on service . Table order buffet was really good as you get to try different dishes.
Special mention must be made about the special attention given by the Asst. FOB Manager, Jumper to make it very special for my husband's birthday which we celebrated at the Hotel making special vegetarian dishes and I thank the Chefs too for being flexible to make the tasty food for us.
We went casually for dinner at the open restaurant at DoubleTree by Hilton for the second time, and it was once again a great experience. The Thai food was flavorful and well-prepared, offering a comforting and authentic taste that made the meal really enjoyable.

Food was good. Not much variety for Indians though as resturants inside the hotel offer great Oriental and Thai options. Not much for vegetarians. We however, didnt face much issue experimenting with new variety of food.
The rest of the food and drink they had was okay. None of the juice is fresh or nice in any way, food is kind of boring and plain.
The food is great, staffs also great with kind manner especially K.Sanan. Tiny potion makes me can try various menus. The price is suitable for the food quality.

Good food, fantastic staff. We were a bit ill and in need of some easy comfort food, and the potato and leek soup was perfect.
Thank you Khun Sanan, Khun Dream, Khun Ice, and Khun Pik for the wonderful service during our Easter lunch with my family.
▪️ Curry, Rice and Noodles 🍛 Hong Kong-style stir-fried noodles, pad Thai with fresh shrimp, fish curry with wild betel leaves

A nice lunch on the weekend with family. Variety of menus selections e.g. Italian corner and Thai. Food are tasty
We had lunch at Open Restaurant and were positively impressed. Great food at a very good value
So establishing consistent options with swaps and training all staff members on these would improve the experience.

▪️ Salad 🥗 Chicken Caesar salad, beetroot salad with orange sauce, Thai papaya salad, pomelo salad
Poor service in the restaurant: taking away a dirty plate and leaving it on the table.
Considering the food quality, variety, and service, it’s definitely great value for the price.

We only came to Double Tree for dinner after the buffet was recommended.
I didn't like that the food service for fresh water was filthy
Food at their onsite restaurant was fabulous and drinks were yummy.

▪️ Grills 🥩 Pork loin steak, grilled pork, chicken satay
There is an excellent Egyptian restaurant next to the hotel.
We came for lunch to celebrate our Anniversary ..

Although the menu didn’t cater for British people much
The cafe in the lobby is also delicious.
A nice meal and a pleasant evening.

The food is excellent and reasonably priced.
The food here is very good.
The food and drinks are delicious.

Check-in / Check-out: What guests say
View DoubleTree by Hilton Bangkok Ploenchit127 relevant reviews

The service at check-in was a disaster. They said there was no reservation for the children, so they quoted a special rate for their breakfasts (for Lunar New Year, perhaps?). They first quoted the adult price, but when I asked whether children paid half price, they said they did. I told them the children were 7 and 9, but did they not believe me? I had even handed over our passports, yet they asked me three times, which was infuriating. Check-in took more than 30 minutes, and then they told us there were no rooms available. Why, when they had confirmed that we had prepaid for two rooms for five nights right at the outset? It was already past 3:30 p.m., the stated check-in time—how could there be no rooms?
I didn’t like that I had to pay for a whole night’s accommodation even though I arrived at 7 a.m., with check-in at 3 p.m. that same day. Basically, I had to pay for an extra night just for a few hours on 16 January. I requested an early check-in, but they refused.
I had informed them of my arrival time. I arrived at 5 p.m. and waited more than half an hour because they said they were preparing a suitable room. I did not receive the room on time, and the excuse that they were looking for a suitable room was untrue.

She kindly arranged an early check-in and even upgraded our room. She clearly informed us of the exact time the room would be ready and thoughtfully suggested that, since we had taken a red-eye flight, we could freshen up and shower on the 7th floor while waiting.
When we checked out, they added items we hadn’t taken and said the cleaner had written them down, which wasn’t true—we hadn’t used them. We had to pay and leave because we were afraid we’d be late for our flight.
I had a really nice stay at DoubleTree Ploenchit. My flight arrived early in the morning so I got to the hotel around 9am, planning to just leave my bags, but I was lucky enough to checkin early!

We just checked in and were able to get our room 2 hours earlier which is just amazing after such a long travel day. We didn’t have to pay for it, the room was just ready earlier!
Nothing, except they scared me at the end by making me pay a deposit. Then they said there was no deposit and nothing was due until I made them check. They apologized and refunded my deposit.
Excellent check in customer service experience from Man, Nok, Jew and Kaily were all great and went out of their way to get me a room a little early after over 24 hours of travel.

They take a long time to refund the deposit to the card. More than 14 days have passed since checking out of the hotel, and the money still hasn’t been credited back to the card.
There was early check-in , in the offer at the website but they charged me 4500 bat for coming early and told me to contact booking because its not mentioned with them ,
We were able to leave our luggage safely at the hotel after checkout, so we could relax and walk around the city until we had to go to the airport in the evening.

The way of calculating at the last day (they want us to pay for the "Heineken" and they said that our kids (6 & 15 years old) has drink it.
The hotel messed up my reservation, and instead of taking accountability, essentially blamed a third party booking agency and didn’t compensate me for the downgrade.
I wanna give a huge compliment to Soda - the front dest staff who helped us check in smoothly with warm welcome and assistance.

I came in early and they were able to get me set up in a room after a long 16 hour flight.
Upon arrival, we were asked to pay a 2,000 baht deposit, which we had not seen mentioned anywhere in advance.
And gave us a really early check-in which was much needed after a very long flight for us.

There was a problem with the card upon arrival... it was resolved quickly and in an unconventional way
Unfortunately, this was possible, which is why we booked the room again for half a day.
Upon check-in, we received the best and yummiest cookie, with compliments from the hotel.

Excellent check in customer service experience from Man, Nok, Jew and Kaily.
I also liked the quick procedures when I arrived at the hotel.
Fortunately I was allowed to heck out after one night.

They did not honor the included late check out.
Excellent experience from check in to check out.
The check-in and check-out process is quick.

The staff check in was polite
And the check-in was seamless
Unjustified delay in check-in procedures.

The pool was okay, but in February the trees around the pool were losing their leaves, so it was comfortable to swim only in the morning, right after they cleaned the pool - after a couple of hours pool was full of leaves. Though having a pool in a quiet floor with the view - was really cool.
The hotel is nice however if your looking to sunbathe the pool is terrible. Not only is the pool majority in the shade but there are no proper loungers and the ‘beds’ are short. If you’re under 5ft it would work for you.
The pool was too small, and what shocked me was that it was being cleaned. I saw the detergent water used to clean around the pool flowing straight into it. I was shocked!!! I didn’t use the pool after that!! This is wrong!!!

Disappointing that guests were allowed to smoke so close to the swimming pool. This was very uncomfortable when trying to relax and swim. One guest even flicked his ash into the water. I didn't use the pool again after I saw this
Would just hope the pool will be available as on previous trips i have been given same reasons construction work in progress and pool out of order but have option to use another pool down the road
At the pool area, the sun never reached us. We tried late morning around 11 a.m. and also in the afternoon, but it was always completely in the shade.

Every country has its own laws—you are not allowed to smoke at the pool while standing beside it; there is a designated smoking area.
The swimming pool was smaller than anticipated, but i appreciated how it was outdoors yes not overly sunny due to strategic positioning.
Pool hours: it would be nice if it were open at least until 10 or 11 p.m. (it closed at 8 p.m.)

The only thing I didn’t like was the pool, looked bigger in photos for such a nice resort the pool was tiny
We loved the rooftop pool and bar area—stunning views of Bangkok’s skyline and a relaxing spot to unwind in the evenings.
Super tiny spot of sun at pool. I don´t understand how a big hotel like this don´t have sun at pool.

The ordering method with the phone available there or by using the app was a bit chaotic leading to delays.
I thought the pool looked better in the photos than what it was in actual reality. But it was adequate.
The pool looks great though I did not get to enjoy it as it was really hot during my stay.

The pool is nice to look at, but small for the size of the hotel and never gets any sunlight.
The pool is absolutely gorgeous, and bonus, you can eat breakfast at the pool, or even order a poolside lunch.
The swimming pool was closed throughout my stay, and I was not informed of this before booking. 😕

So there is no swimming pool however can use a swimming pool 200 metres down the road
Also, the lack of a toilet by the pool area is just weird.
- Pool is quite small for the number of guests they have.

The pool area was clean and quiet when we visited
The pool is quite small and not very appealing.
Pool needs some improvement and cleaning needs some consistency.

The pool is also clean and well maintained.
We went to the pool every day.
And the pool is out of commission

Small pool, which is a shame
Pool area has no view.
There is a swimming pool

There used to be access to the street through the hotel entrance, but it has now been closed, making the route longer. That is probably why this was my last stay, because the detour is tiring.
The transport recommended, was good however not keen to recommend anyone else to use since he used the excuse of not having change when we offered to settle the bill with a large note.
We notified the hotel directly on the messaging system that our travel dates have changed due to a passport delay before hotel change of date cutoff deadline.

For Example, it would be a good idea if the hotel would organize the taxis for the guests, so we don't have to get ripped off.
None of the terminals accepted UnionPay, although I had checked twice in advance about payment; I had to go to an ATM to withdraw cash
Easy access to BTS and also relatively close to the MRT. Two stops away from Siam Central BTS station where you can change trains.

A little advice: when it comes to taxis, don't hesitate to ask the doormen; they will give you good advice and be very helpful!
I refused to go, concierge said ok, but next taxi also was without meter and I have to deal with driver on a ride.
It is very easy to get to, and its clear location makes it quick and easy for taxis to reach the hotel.

There were almost no taxis with meters in Bangkok so you always have to discuss the price before getting into a taxi.
Luckily for us there was a cab waiting outside the hotel and we were able to make it to DMK on time.
Since our flight departs in the middle of the night, we have previously used the pool and spa area after checking out!

Anyone who wants to book the hotel should book through the Emirates website in order to earn Skywards miles through Emirates.
On our last night we booked a cab for 3 to DMK AT 930AM the next morning via the hotel conseiege.
The hotel is almost 45-50 minutes away from the Airport and it is easy to get a Taxi from there.

The Skytrain, which is within walking distance, provides an easy and inexpensive way to reach many destinations throughout the city.
Mr Sam on the concearge desk is great man he arranged our transportation and made us fell very safe.
Wished there was a shuttle to go to Phloen Chit bts. With a kid it kind of gets tiring.

As bangkok traffic can be tricky. however, they have tuk tuk drivers and taxis stand by outside the hotel.
I asked at reception to help with taxi to airport, but they called street taxies which stayed nearby entrance.
The sky train station is also just a few minutes walk, making it easy to explore the city.

When asking to order a taxi, they tell you a price 5-6 times higher than the actual cost.
Using Google Map, we landed far or opposite direction from the hotel and ended took a taxi back.
So you have to catch the cab which isn't too expensive but the traffic can be Tiresome

Either the hotel forgot to place the booking or cab just didn't simply show up.
We were offered a ride from the Airport to the Hotel with BHT 1,800.
But transport links right outside the hotel make it easy to get around.

And taxis were required to visit the central area near the river.
A miscommunication from the hotel's driver, but they settled it instantly.
Taxis and tuk-tuks are always waiting right outside the hotel.

There are two factors are important to me when I book a hotel, a decent gym and swimming pool. unfortunately the main machine at the gym was broken until I left with something that could have been fixed in a couple of hours….
The gym however was in very poor state and terribly needs a refresh. Equipment was broken and worn albeit still functional. The air conditioning was very weak making it a little stuffy.
And newly upgraded gym with the top-of-the-line technogym equipment (it's quite small but adequate if you know what you're doing).

It was a short walk to a partner hotel to use their gym in the mornings so not too inconvenient.
As for the Gym facility available alongside the Spa, my daughter did say that Hilton could do better.
I’m impressed with the gym where the equipment is more than usual - they have a squat rack!

Unfortunately gym is under renovation and alternative location was badly maintained and low class.
And gym was really good, it had everything you need for the stay.
The gym was under renovation but they had set up some alternatives.

And the gym equipment is high quality it’s the Technogym brand
However the hotel did organise an alternative gym at another hotel.
There was a slight lack of equipment in the fitness room

The fact the gym is being refurbished at the moment.
Gym is big enough to do your daily exercise.
Gym A/C does not work properly, smells a lot.

They did offer gym access at another hotel
I also made use of the gym
New gym is open is very beautiful

Avoid if you want a classy gym.
The gym facility was a little limited.
The fitness center was adequate, too.

Gym area is small but nice!
We made use of the gym
The gym is open 24 hours.

The 24-hour fitness area was excellent,
Gym was closed for refurbishment
Only one treadmill in fitness.

Gym is very good
There is a gym.
Gym well eqipped

The Spa: I must say I love spa and massages and have been to many places in Thailand and Bali. Makkha Spa on the 7th Floor is probably one of the cleanest spas I have ever visited and the therapists were very skilled. The 2 massages I had there was simply divine. Definitely pricier than outside, but the class and cleanliness is different level.
There is a recently opened Makha spa with a reasonably priced (for a spa located in a hotel) one hour Thai massage which was fantastic and very much worth it. The spa is a nice addition to the DT Ploenchit!
Though we stayed for 5 days, unable get an appointment for a spa as as they're always fully booked.

The spa and massages are excellent too, the prices are great, and the work is done well.
Its bad they canceled the steam room the Majestic Grand had, it was super nice
It does NOT have a SPA, despite advertising one; it offers expensive massage services.

They've also just opened their brand new spa - which seemed very popular!
& it has in-hse SPA which is very convenient for travellers
There is a nice spa located in the 7th floor.

The spa area, especially the massages, is also highly recommended.
Recommendation by Taxi driver to use external massage and spa.
And their spa at 7th floor was great too.

The spa on the 7th floor was also great.
I called if a massage/ spa available in hotel.
Spa was very relaxing n really done well

The spa experience too was very good.
The spa and pool are very pleasant.
The spa staff and services were impeccable.

Shame about the spa construction work noise.
They recently completed the spa facility.
And the spa massage is amazing

The spa department has been removed
With a spa next door.
The spa is an experience.

The hotel’s spa area
And put a spa
The spa was relaxing,

There's a spa
Excellent spa
Spa/

Car Park has EV charging but was difficult to set up the app and quite expensive compared to other charging stations.
We were also very pleased to have convenient indoor parking, which made our stay even more comfortable and hassle-free.
Parking the hired SUV was through a narrow passage .

Convenient parking is available.
And free parking!
