Guests repeatedly describe U Sathorn as a beautiful, quiet garden oasis in central Bangkok, with a pool, friendly staff, good value, varied breakfast, and nearby restaurants and 7-Eleven. Some note the location is not optimal, while major renovations, construction, one noisy event, and occasional maintenance issues disrupted stays.

In a particular neighborhood, this very welcoming hotel with a great value for money is situated among charming little streets, and it has a tuk-tuk service that takes you to the metro station every hour... everything is well organized.
We stayed here for 10 days because our son was staying in Bangkok and booked another three nights in this lovely accommodation after returning from Krabi.
The hotel itself has a Michelin Guide restaurant upstairs, and my husband and I left the dinner feeling absolutely on cloud nine.

It was clean and everything would have been good if there hadn't been a huge construction site at the hotel
The Grab fare of 100-130 baht, which is about 4,000-6,000 won, was sufficient to get to any desired location.
A drywall wall instead of access to the bright large reception area that made us choose this hotel.

The hotel is very good but may need a more meticulous maintenance to stay at its best.
Having stayed at the U some years ago ,my visit this time was a very pleasant return
A resort in the midst of a big city, providing comfortable accommodations that help you relax.

The hotel has a lot of potential but we missed a soul in the hotel.
It is only technicalities that don't allow this beautiful Hotel to be a 5 star.
Wonderful hotel, rooms facing the garden are very comfortable, direct access to the pool.

I will definitely come back to this place when I am back in Bangkok.
U Sathorn is definitely a place that I would love to visit again.
Pool is beautiful and nicely surrounded with lots of green and well maintained.

I stayed for 3 separate visits over the Christmas/ New Year celebrations.
Everything was perfect, the hotel is very well maintained and nice.
Their 24 hour policy and all day breakfast options were unique.

Best place to stay at Bangkok for me and my family.
The stay was comfortable and highly recommended for family stay.
Relaxing atmosphere although located in the middle of the city.

A very pleasant address, but pay attention to the details...
Or travel to the city to see the sights.
A quiet oasis in the middle of bustling Bangkok.

Technical level of the hotel can impress even geek.
Having been a regular at another hotel in the same area, I wanted to change this year and I was not disappointed; the hotel is a bit less luxurious and new, but the garden, its pool, its small gym, and the kindness of the staff won me over!! I loved it!!
Even though the hotel is located in the middle of a million-people city (just a few minutes from the Lumpini MRT station, hotel shuttle with Tuk Tuk is offered several times a day), the peace at the pool and in the rooms is always fascinating.

I been staying here a few times myself and can really tell its a small paradise located in Bangkok, would recommend this hotel to anyone who would like some peace and get away from the daily Bangkok stress.
My fiancée and I originally planned to stay her for 6 nights and then go to Phuket and instead we canceled our trip to Phuket just to stay here longer because the property was so amazing.
We stayed at the hotel because the 24-hour-use-of-room was perfect for our last day in Bangkok, but we will definitely stay here when we visit the city again because the value for money is incredible.

Staff: What guests say

Staff kindness, warmth, attentiveness, and helpfulness are the hotel’s most repeated strengths; guests frequently describe professional, responsive service and memorable personal care, including Pao remembering a returning guest’s preferences and Ployly and Nai patiently handling requests. A minority report inattentive or unmotivated employees, repeated prompting, no breakfast drink service, and less attentive service than before.

- Arrived after 21:00, surprised by the night team and concierge who asked to choose ONE SOAP ... Strange, this is the first time we encountered this situation in a 5* hotel ... yet in BKK we have already stayed in several 5* (Intercon, Eastin, Sofitel, Marriott...)
We expressed our concerns and disappointment, and on top of this very regrettable situation the manager of the hotel simply gave us his card and advised to reach out to him if we ever desired to book a stay there as some kind of compensation attempt.
Even though I was in a bad mood the day before, when I made eye contact with the customer in the lobby the next morning and he greeted me first, I acted cool and ignored him haha.

When a small issue happened in the bathroom, you handled it so kindly and even offered us a complimentary drink when we checked out — I’ll never forget that.
The staff are very friendly and I was impressed that they packed a lunch box when I checked out early on the last day.
Throughout my stay, both Ployly and Nai listened carefully to every request with patience, professionalism, and a genuine willingness to help.

There were not so many staff especially pool area, it was difficult to get attention to order food and drinks
The staff were incredibly helpful and went out of their way to ensure we had an excellent stay.
The team was attentive and kind throughout our stay, always ready to help with anything we needed.

They work hard, often in heat extremities, whilst nothing is too much trouble for the guest(s).
Helpful staff, hotel is both close to the city center and a haven of peace
None of the staff explained to me how to use the pool, breakfast, etc.

The staff was absolutely great. Friendly, helpful, and always went the "extra mile."
And the staff is very attentive and always ready to help you.
Nothing is too much for the staff to make you feel comfortable.

Every member of the staff was kind, welcoming, and genuinely hospitable.
The staff are very helpful and most eager to please.
The staff was very helpful and friendly at all times.

We have rarely felt so welcome as in this place!
The staff fixed it, so no issues the next night.
The staff is very attentive and ensures you lack nothing.

It was peaceful, serene, and comfortable with hospitality-minded staffs.
The staff was friendly and helpful, but often slow.
Members of the staff were friendly and helpful.

Nothing is any trouble for this young man.
All personnel very welcoming and polite and helpful.
The staff were very welcoming and informed.

And especially the staff who are impeccable.
The staff was very nice and attentive.
Although staff were friendly service was limited.

Location: What guests say

A peaceful, leafy oasis in Sathorn, surrounded by gardens and a quiet residential atmosphere despite central Bangkok. Restaurants, malls, Lumpini and Benjakitti parks, and a 7-Eleven are nearby. The main drawback is distance from MRT and tourist sights: expect a 10–15-minute walk, occasional tuk-tuk shuttle, or Grab through a tucked-away alley.

The surrounding palms and gardens are such a relief in what is a vibrant and noisy city, that a ambience of clam and serenity apply, so much so, that this three week stay kept us both fixed in spending most of our time soaking up a wonderful and unique experience, within the grounds.
The hotel is in a very quiet area and allows 24-hour stays, which is greatly appreciated if your flight leaves in the afternoon or early morning (for example, if you check in at 8:00 PM, you can check out at 8:00 PM on the last day).
It takes 12 minutes to walk from the station, but although it says 12 minutes, the sidewalk is very narrow and there are a lot of cars, and it's too hot to walk back and forth every day, so I took a taxi once or twice.

There was a convenience store right next door and getting from the hotel to the city center by taxi took about 3 km, but due to traffic jams, the journey time was about 45 minutes.
It’s a few minutes walk to get to local attractions like One Bangkok on Rama IV road, or the hotel run a regular shuttle tuk tuk to the area.
Location is not the best so we had to make use of the free shuttle to Lumpini and from there we could get almost anywhere.

A little bit tucked away off the main areas but quite and with a whole under French restaurant just five minutes walk away.
Though a bit far from many major destinations, there is a free shuttle to the MRT which makes getting around very easy.
It is a bit away from the central area, but it's easy to get there by Grab or public transportation.

The proximity to Lumphini Park is great, and it's easy to take the BTS and subway wherever you want.
Wonderfully quiet location about 30 minutes by car away from the hustle and bustle of the city center.
Then to add that this is actually an amazing hotel, close to everything you need to be

Remote, in itself not a problem but it still felt unsafe for 2 ladies in the evening.
Other hotels further away from the airport can be easier to get to with the motorways.
You could certainly walk, but in the heat, you would only do that once or twice.

The location makes it feel like a quiet, restful oasis in the middle of busy Bangkok.
The location isn't by the river, but with taxi prices it's really not a problem.
Very good value for money within an ideal neighbourhood for getting around central Bangkok.

A seven/eleven is at the end of the rood should you need any supplies.
A calming, green, quiet place, and also close to two excellent new malls.
Hotel is both close to the city center and a haven of peace

It's hard to believe that one is in the middle of Bangkok.
The location is really far from subway station to walk to there.
It felt like an oasis of calm in an otherwise bustling city.

It was a lovely location, not too far from restaurants and bars.
Location was great, a little oasis in the middle of busy area,
A haven of calm and greenery in the center of Bangkok

Location was quiet but close enough to get into the city.
Easy to get with Grab and shuttle service to local station.
Excellent location—safe, quiet, and walkable with great dining options nearby.

Rooms: What guests say
View U Sathorn Bangkok273 relevant reviews
Rooms are repeatedly described as exceptionally spacious, clean, comfortable, and well equipped, often with large bathrooms, quality showers, balconies, or pool/garden views. Recurring drawbacks include dated decor, occasional maintenance problems, weak soundproofing, loud air conditioning, uncomfortable or sunken mattresses, and inconsistent handling of room requests or cleaning.

On two occasions, when we got to our room at night after spending the whole day in the city, we didn't have any towels so we had to call the reception and even go personally to complain since the day was passing. time and no one brought us any towels to dry off after the shower.
Or, if you're at least 1.9m tall, you can slightly cover the air conditioning grille with your fingers from a chair and lie with your feet towards the headboard of the bed, which reduces the airflow a bit, but it still blows no matter the air conditioning speed.
Only complaint was that we asked for a quiet room and yet we were located on a middle floor with a young family above us who had kids that were constantly running around and jumping up and down on the bed causing us to be kept awake.

It would also be helpful to have some of the information in the room regarding where to go for breakfast and things about the hotel as they were different from what I'd read on the website.
We received a supposed upgrade and the room was large but the quality did not seem up to the same standard as seen in the pics so was disappointing.
Rooms for 3: 2 adults and 1 child do not include a bed for the child. They consider that the child sleeps in the parents' bed.

Impossible to get the room cleaned in 2 days. It must be said that the 'make the room' system is particularly poorly designed.
I was satisfied with the large and spacious bathroom and bedroom, and I really liked the outdoor terrace and air conditioning facilities.
Every year, I look forward to enjoying the sunlight at this hotel, yet this time my request was not considered.

When I told the staff what I felt bad about it, they changed it to the room I wanted.
The standard check-in and check-out format, along with the pool view that connects to the balcony, provided many conveniences.
The suite is beautiful, and they even provided complimentary champagne, fruits, and snacks (the mini bar is also free).

My room had a mosquito repellent, so I thought the others would too, but they didn't have it.
When people talk or walk near the door - it is same if they were in your room.
It's not even a view to speak of; it just overlooks the backyard, so it wasn't great.

I don't know if I would stay in the hotel again with that type of bathroom.
All staff, the rooms are very comfortable, the dining options, the breakfast is very high-end
Only one minor thing, spots on the couch and the mirror in the living room.

Rooms are very large, with super comfy beds, bathroom is very large, separate toilet.
The room could use a renovation and the view was not very pleasant (parking)
After 2 nights, I got sick and was glad that we could leave.

Unfortunately, some areas show signs of needing renovation (e.g., corners in the bathroom)
Mosquitoes are everywhere due to the ‘blend of interiors/exteriors’ design of the hotel.
You can only sleep if there’s nobody in the room above you.

We wouldn't stay for more than one night with that set up.
Sumptuous suite with unbeatable value for money in Bangkok, attentive staff.
The toilets that are not completely closed in the room

The hotel is old and requires renovation, especially the rooms.
Really nice room with a view of the pool.
Bad AC, it’s either too cold, or too hot/humid.

Breakfast: What guests say
View U Sathorn Bangkok248 relevant reviews
Breakfast is overwhelmingly praised for extensive international, Thai, vegan, and à la carte choices, including Eggs Benedict, with terrace seating and free room delivery. Recurring criticisms include limited or repetitive variety, occasionally low quality, missing fresh juice, and one report of a cramped room with a wait exceeding an hour.

They just need to change the fruit juices at the breakfast buffet, which are, as usual in the country, concentrated fruit juices???! It's a shame because there are plenty of fresh fruits, and it would be nice to have real fresh fruit juices!
Of the 4 days we stayed, everything was quite chaotic: one day they offered us breakfast à la carte at the beginning, another day at the end,... the last day they didn't even offer it to us.
Great quality of breakfast, too bad that during 2 breakfasts we couldn't enjoy the first day because we had to leave for the airport early (left the hotel at 07:15) for a BKK-CNX-BKK the same day.

The breakfast is quite tasty. However, there are some things like the pad thai being under-seasoned or the omelet not suiting Korean tastes, but overall it's okay.
Breakfast is decent given the fact that there were a lot of food choices and they change the buffet food variety everyday.
The breakfast is adequate, although I feel cost cutting has affected the quality of food available from previous visits.

Eggs are A La Cart option as they have no egg station but we just loved it.
Breakfast is very good, with high quality products and a very good variety of Thai specialties.
Even though the buffet line was minimal but they had different delicious menu everyday.

There are missing cushions, some areas are not very clean either, poorly maintained.
Given the reputation, it's not something you absolutely have to pay for.
Breakfast for all kinds of guests, be it Westerners or Asians.

The breakfast is still okay, less outstanding and options than before.
The breakfast location is away from the center of Bangkok
For a 5 Star hotel it is a bit pity!

The breakfast was the best he had during our trip.
One of the best hotel breakfasts I’ve ever had.
I went to eat breakfast, I ordered poached egg.

Tasty breakfasts with a large selection of dishes.
The breakfast offers a lot of choices
That topped everything we had so far.

Breakfast buffet an international gourmet feast.
The breakfast room is beautifully decorated,
The breakfast was truly exceptional.

Excellent selection for breakfast
- breakfast very good
Nice hotel and breakfast

The excellent breakfast
The gargantuan breakfast.
Very good breakfast.

Pool: What guests say
View U Sathorn Bangkok181 relevant reviews
The pool is repeatedly praised as beautiful, large, well maintained, peaceful, and surrounded by lush gardens—an oasis in Bangkok—with plentiful loungers, poolside service, and enough space for laps. Reported drawbacks include slipping cushions, occasional pigeons, construction or event noise, limited shade or lighting, and one account of overcrowding and dirty, oily-smelling water.

Even though the hotel is located in the middle of a million-people city (just a few minutes from the Lumpini MRT station, hotel shuttle with Tuk Tuk is offered several times a day), the peace at the pool and in the rooms is always fascinating.
Guest just jumped in the swimming pool without taking shower first, seems very dirty. Better put a policy in place when using the swimming pool or put a signage next to the pool.
In fact, while you are relaxing by its pool, surrounded by lawns and coconut palms, you wouldn't even know you were in the lap of a vibrant city.

Very beautiful and large swimming pool in a quiet area away from the hustle and bustle of Bangkok, ideal for relaxing after a visit to the Thai capital.
You can even order snacks and drinks through the hotel app, mention that you’re at the pool, and they’ll bring everything right to your sunbed.
These young women took pictures all the time with no limits and they did not understand, that other guests did not want to be photograped.

Pool looked nice with a decent size in the garden but it’s always in the sun and no shade so we didn’t use it.
Pool: Beach towels are provided, there are three floating pool sofas, plenty of lounge chairs, and various birds nearby create a very pleasant atmosphere.
In a city like Bangkok with many high-rise hotels, this low-rise property surrounded by gardens and a pool has a resort feel.

I did not enjoy the pool because I did not want to travel with a very wet swimsuit in my luggage.
The structure is such that the similar-tone rooms surround the central swimming pool and are about three stories high.
The pool area was so beautiful that it was very irritating to feel it like a circus.

Great pool area, sun all day unlike most hotels in Bangkok, blocked out from skyscraper's.
Large mirror pool with numerous sun loungers, open late at night, large towels available.
Certainly, the garden with its swimming pool is the highlight of this hotel.

Beautiful garden with a gorgeous swimming pool, lovely lounge chairs and towels.
Relaxing by the pool feels like you are at a resort.
Need more lighting at the pool during the evening

But also the pool, the food, everything was great.
The pool and gardens surrounding it are amazing.
The swimming pool and bar area were beautiful.

The hotel's garden and pool bring tranquility.
Beautiful garden with a lovely swimming pool.
Nice pool and green, lush surroundings.

A beautiful (albeit small) outdoor pool
Very nice pool area, super quiet
Nice pool with pleasant water temperature

The swimming pool is fabulous.
Many sunbeds around the pool
Beautiful pool, lovely and peaceful

Facilities: What guests say
View U Sathorn Bangkok98 relevant reviews
Beautiful, quiet gardens and a large, well-maintained pool are the standout facilities, complemented by a gym, bicycles, ample loungers, strong WiFi, good dining, and relaxing architecture. However, renovation sometimes caused all-day construction noise and cramped spaces, while recurring concerns included stained carpets or seating, worn towels, incomplete cleaning, and no elevator or pool railing.

Also, the bathroom in the room has an opening above it, so unless you're very comfortable with someone, it might be a bit awkward to share a room. Although it can be covered with a curtain, you can still hear sounds.
There is even a dedicated delivery station near the lobby if you have something dropped off by Grab, it’s all been thought through very carefully to make it so comfortable for guests.
Only one soap provided at time of check-in, we have 2 ppl and we do not want to share the soap, plus only 1 tea bag per day...

It's different that I can request room service and other concierge services in real-time through the app and receive feedback. It was convenient and nice.
Everything was available, but I think it would have been an even better experience if there was a walking path or garden.
There should be a railing in the pool so that those of us with hip problems can also use the pool.

Overall, it was clean, and despite the daily rain, the cleanliness was always maintained, so I didn't have any inconvenience.
Even though parts of the hotel were undergoing a renovation it did not have any effect on our stay.
The peace and quiet (listen to the birds sing), comfortable beds and pillows, cleanliness, the pool and gardens

The lobby is bright, and as soon as you arrive, it's beautiful and the swimming pool is nice.
The U hotel app was amazing and we could communicate with the reception and services through a chat.
Some comments about cleaning, they need to vacuum the floors more thoroughly, other than that it's okay.

A few minor points for improvement, the shower needs to be cleaned more thoroughly, otherwise no comments
It's great that you can request all orders and amenities through the app, including room service.
Had to let the water run for quite some time in order to get hot water.

Gym, Pool, beautiful garden, good restaurant, excellent selection for breakfast and very comfortable rooms.
There is a magnifying mirror in the bathroom, but unfortunately very poor lighting.
Appreciated complimentary waters each day and two drinks from the mini bar!

It’s a shame there were so many stains on the carpets.
However, this aspect might be fine among close family or friends.
The lobby and outdoor areas (pool, gardens) are very pleasant

No lift to take us up to the first floor.
The garden, the tranquility, and the beautiful cat.
Service, facilities, great large rooms and exceptional staff!

Loved that they had bikes for rental.
The cleanliness of the pool area.
The free mini bar was great.

Could not really use it….
A nice bottle of bubbly
The facilities were fantastic.

Restaurant: What guests say
View U Sathorn Bangkok96 relevant reviews
Guests consistently praise the Library and pool restaurants for excellent, varied food, attentive service, and often reasonable prices; Thai dishes, steaks, breakfasts, and desserts stand out. J’aime offers an exceptional Michelin-starred experience but can be expensive. Reported drawbacks include no halal options, a dusty plate, declining coffee quality, and limited café hours.

I ordered the salmon steak, and while the food itself was excellent, the black plate it was served on was covered with a noticeable layer of dust.
Unfortunately, there was an unpleasant episode as for 3 consecutive days they did not allow access to the restaurant's internal room because it had been booked .....
And going out nearby where there are some very good restaurants (especially Iode, a wonder) that make great cuisine at very reasonable prices.

In the evenings, the hotel’s restaurant was an excellent place to dine – perfect after a long day in the city.
We pushed the boat out on our last evening and ate at J'aime by Jean -Michel Lorain it is a must.
As the biggest bonus, I commend the chef💯👍 for the exclusive taste of all the dishes, perfect service, and amazing desserts.

It is unfortunate that neither the chef nor the server checked the condition of the plate before serving the dish.
As the biggest bonus, I praise the chef💯👍 for the exclusive taste of all dishes, perfect service, and amazing desserts.❤️
The restaurant by the pool is very good, all dishes are presented very nicely and are of good quality.

Alongside the pool is the main lobby building with a sumptuously appointed restaurant (also the breakfast venue) located upstairs.
No halal food options, which is a shame. However, the hotel makes the necessary arrangements to offer vegetarian alternatives.
We had intended to eat out most nights but it was so good we went back night after night.

The library restaurant was lovely for a casual evening meal and the staff were really attentive and lovely.
The restaurant is fabulous with great choices for breakfast lunch and dinner should you choose to eat in.
Additionally, the breakfast restaurant is French and has earned one Michelin star, and the breakfast was very delicious.

Restaurant is supposed to be very high quality, but we did not have chance to try it.
The fried rice with crab meat on the in house dining menu is to die for.
We at at J’amie for a first class dining experience without the Australian prices.

Also go eat in the restaurant, had a wonderful meal and nice wines
The restaurant, The Library, is very good, and the smoothies are top-notch.
I order food all day long and the breakfast is delicious.

Delicious food - breakfast and dinner, both overlooking the pool.
The restaurant is delicious and the breakfast is gargantuan.
Should indulge if one appreciates extraordinary culinary craftsmanship.

Furthermore, I praise the delicacies from the kitchen.
The restaurant is really top-notch as well.
The restaurant downstairs has incredibly bad service!

The library restaurant which is delicious.
Restaurant staff very helpful and welcoming.
The Hotel restaurant was excellent too.

Check-in / Check-out: What guests say
View U Sathorn Bangkok60 relevant reviews
The standout feature is 24-hour room use: checkout generally matches check-in, enabling early arrival, late departure, and easier airport travel. Guests praise flexible and early check-in, friendly service, and occasional complimentary extensions. However, policies can require advance notice, incur surcharges, or be restricted unexpectedly due to bookings, with reported checkout times ranging from 1pm to 9pm.

The biggest advantage of this hotel is flexible check-in, check-out, but you need to let them know couple of days in advance to prepare your rooms when you arrive to Bangkok - even it is 8 am, you can check-in, but you check-out also at 8 am on your last day.
And one of the best things is being able to access your room for 24 hours, you can't find that anywhere!! Since these days you check in later and check out earlier, this doesn't happen here, and it's a great bonus!!
The service was particularly good, as the check-out time is the same as the check-in time, meaning that if you arrive at 5 PM and check in, you also have to check out by 5 PM upon departure.

It’s my mistake that I did not read the terms, but I don’t think the hotel should change the terms as it was clearly written in my booking that I can enjoy 24-hour use of room.
But finally, a hotel that is not part of this rort, I am so glad I found this hotel which basically does 24 hour stays, check in at 10am- check out at 10am
We were contacted by the hotel prior to arrival to ask our preferences on pillow's, tea choices, and fragrances of the toiletries, which were all there when we were taken to our suite.

It was great that check-out was possible 24 hours after check-in, so I didn’t have to worry about my luggage on the last day and could take a shower before heading home.
The worst thing of the stay is that on the last day, I was informed my check-out time was 1pm and that I had signed a paper agreeing to that during check-in.
Nothing, everything was perfect, even the room was ready for us at our arrival at 10 am and the check-out whenever we wanted without extra charge; really nothing to complain about.

I was told it's based on a 24-hour stay, but I was suddenly asked to check out at 8 PM without prior notice (no announcement or sign), which left me confused.
Even though I checked in late at 2 AM, I was grateful for the kindness in guiding me to my room and for the room upgrade with a pool view.
Later, we decided to extend our stay for two more nights and asked the hotel if we could keep the same room to avoid packing and unpacking our luggage.

Since we arrived after 6 PM, we could keep our room until 6 PM the next day (and didn't have to check out by noon as usual).
Originally booked for 2 separate beds but when we checked in they told us it would only be available at 11 pm, past our check in time.
The biggest dissatisfaction was that I chose this accommodation because it said I could stay for 24 hours, but they said it was only until 6 o'clock.

We later discovered that this was untrue and the real reason our room would not be available was because they had booked it for a wedding party.
On the checkout day there was some kind of event taking place at the hotel, we were not informed that the breakfast buffet hours would be reduced.
We arrived at the hotel at 9 AM, and after a long flight, we appreciated the early check-in and the immediate access to our hotel room.

On arrival for our first stay, we were told that our room (a suite) would not be available on our return because of "maintenance".
For those checking in late at night due to early morning flights, be sure to note 'check-in at midnight' in your reservation memo.
During check-in, it was quite late and raining and I probably signed it during a rush without reading the terms clearly.

They were unwilling to accommodate us and insisted that we pay a surcharge for a different category of rooms.
You book the room for 24 hours which is very convenient when you have an early flight.
This is totally unacceptable, especially as we were not told until we arrived for our first stay.

Reception even extended our stay for 1,5 hours as we checked in earlier than expected.
Had a little hiccup with the wrong room type but problem solved quickly.
I regret that both rooms were not available at the same time.

CHECK IN: Welcome drinks are offered, and check-in is available 24 hours.
But i arrived at about 10:40 pm in your hotel.
We arrived at 11 am after a long journey.

Transport: What guests say
View U Sathorn Bangkok58 relevant reviews
The hotel is somewhat distant from MRT/Lumpini station, typically a 15–20-minute walk. A free tuk-tuk is convenient but often runs only every two hours or at set times, usually one-way. Grab, Bolt, and taxis are practical alternatives, though traffic can cause delays, especially during rush hours and airport transfers.

It is far from the BTS and MRT stations, so mainly by car. Using taxis or the app service Grab is very convenient and the prices are reasonable, but getting stuck in traffic during the morning and evening does make close proximity to the station appealing.
Even though the hotel is located in the middle of a million-people city (just a few minutes from the Lumpini MRT station, hotel shuttle with Tuk Tuk is offered several times a day), the peace at the pool and in the rooms is always fascinating.
The only thing I would mention is that there are huge traffic jams on the streets where the hotel is located until you reach the main road, keep that in mind for your travels, especially when heading to the airport!

It is not particularly cheap compared to other similarly quality options with better locations, although the size of the rooms, the pool, the tranquility, and the quality of the breakfast justify the price.
A shuttle service (set times) will take you to the nearest transport network but there is no pick up service a bit of a walk back to the hotel but not too bad.
There is a shuttle that takes you to the station every 2 to 3 hours, but if it's not that time, you have to walk or use Grab.

Considering that rides from Grab and Bolt are not coming easily these days (and delays increased due to bad weather), the transportation situation was very poor.
Easy to call for a grab bike and then it’s 10 mins to the heart of the city, vis a vis 20-25 mins by car.
It's easily solved with cheap taxis or the bold app, but during rush hour there can be delays in getting to and from the hotel.

Also only a short walk or hotel Tuk Tuk to metro where you can tap and go with your contactless bank card.
The hotel is 1 km from the metro, and there is also a shuttle that regularly takes you to the metro.
Taking a taxi between the destination and the accommodation was fine, but the distance to the MRT was a bit awkward.

Do haggle over price because none of the taxis use meters and they always offer an inflated fare to start with.
There is a Tuk Tuk shuttle, but it runs very infrequently, only every 2 hours if it even runs at all.
It would not cost the hotel much effort or expense to make the shuttle reliable, at least to run every hour.

Every time I went out, it took a long time, so I ended up mainly using Bolt bikes to get out.
A free tuk-tuk to the underground station or a 15 minute walk to the main road, grab is a must.
Handy tuk-tuk service to MRT, which is clean, reliable and faster than going by car during times of heavy traffic.

Only slight issue is getting a taxi from hotel can sometimes take a bit of time when traffic bad.
Massage salons and restaurants are a bit further from the hotel, so taxi rides were often necessary.
In my opinion, it should circulate non stop, or at least when a costumer needs it.

Simple taxis cannot be called, but only ordered taxis at set elevated prices (approximately three times).
There is a tuk-tuk service available every hour that takes you to the Lumpini subway
The hotel have a tuk tuk to go the MRT station every 2 hours.

There was tuktuk service for free from the hotel to the metro station.
The free tuk tuk to the nearest Sky Rail station was very useful.
But with the 'Grab' app, it was no problem to arrange transportation.

The complimentary tuk-tuk to the nearest metro station was extremely convenient.
There is some distance from the station.
Traffic to get there was bad.

Gym: What guests say

The hotel has a small, sometimes crowded gym, often open 24 hours, with several guests calling it well-equipped, clean, new, airy, and sufficient. Recurring drawbacks are limited space, insufficient equipment, and occasional maintenance concerns, though many guests consider the fitness room a useful amenity.

The amenities are also excellent, whether it is the comfy super-king beds, gym / quality soaps, etc.
The fitness room lacks a bit of equipment... But that's the only downside!
There is a small gym, and I have used it several times.

Only our family (4 people) could go inside, but narrow and crowd
The gym is small and I would consider more careful maintenance
All the gym gears looked new, clean and worked well.

There was not a Spa and wellness centre on sight , however a quick google search found the chain they refer customers too, the closest was a 9 minutes walk
No jacuzzi and no massage rooms available at the hotel, but they offer near by perfect spa and free tuk-tuk ride from the hotel, it is very short distance.
We were never able to use the spa service because it was fully booked for 4 days.

The main thing I found annoying is the “spa service “ it’s not located at the hotel.
The hotel indeed also offers the possibility for outsiders to access the internal services.
It would have been lovely to have my feet done,

Mostly at that price there is massage as well
The hotel offers massages in a luxurious salon.
