I will keep in touch, though I probably would not stay here on my next visit; maybe in transit as I would like to collect on that offer of the massage, not because I did not like the hotel, it was very pleasant and I love the staff, but because on my semi annual trips to Bangkok I prefer to stay in different areas and often a new boutique type hotel.....

Just came with my wife after staying here ten years ago with my parents. I remember it being awesome and was worried it might not live up to my memory, but it certainly did.

I generally prefer hotels that tend to be artsy boutique and independent, for their uniqueness, romantic nature, seclusion, and attention to a theme and/or detail; this hotel surprised me in a favourable way.

The hotel felt like a 5 star with the VIP service in the Executive floor- worth spending a bit more for this as it elevates the experience to concierge level.

While it did remind me of an airport business class lounge with its zen like simple efficiency, relaxed service, neutral palette, and comfort, it went beyond that.

This was my second stay after first visit 01 year ago at this hotel and it did not disappoint and standards have been maintained.

This was my first stay at the Eastin Grande and will not be my last. Everything from beginning to end was excellent.

If I decide to make another trip to Bangkok, I’ll definitely be staying at the Eastin Grand again.

It was so nice that we sometimes preferred to stay in the hotel rather than leave a visit.

Would rate this hotel as 5 stars for cleanliness, location to BTS, quality of breakfast buffet/restaurants.

It was my first time in Thailand and I don’t have anything bad to say.

It will certainly be a hotel I would recommend and hopefully get to return to.

We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel and would be happy to come again.

I had to pay for a whole day despite only needing it till 11.

And the Executive Level booking was well worth it and would highly recommend.

One of the best we have stayed at and we travel a lot.

We are definitely looking to book again next year for the whole family!

Customer service staff is wonderful. Every single one of them goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable. They resolve any issue you may encounter during your stay at the hotel with respect and excellent service.

Saengrawee and her team looked after us so well, but in particular a special mention to Wawa and Kukkai who made the whole experience extra special and went above and beyond expectations.

What really shines about this hotel is the people who run it: the incredible staff without whom this hotel would be yet another corporate gray and brown chain.

But what made our stay most enjoyable was the hotel's staff, particularly those in the executive lounge. They showed us such kindness we did not want to leave.

On arrival the air conditioning was not working - whilst a staff member was sent to repair this, it was not very much improved and given the open windows and fans in the hallway, clearly a problem for the whole floor. The shower did not drain and the room had a bad smell.

We were worried about cleanliness in our hotel in Bangkok so we decided to pay a little more and it was totally worth it. The room had an amazing view

Maybe the only niggle are the rather high room-rates, considering that much of the view of the Chaopraya River is now blocked by new tall buildings.

We were not advised before arriving that there would be exterior building works, just left a letter in the room recommending we keep curtains closed.

Particularly enjoyed the benefits of staying in an executive room that entitled us to complimentary drinks and food in the executive lounge.

The only downside was there isn’t anywhere in the room where you can dry your cloths once your out the pool.

Cleanning is not on the strong side either, i found any long hairs in the bathroom and next to the bed.

Only recommendation I might have is make your doors more soundproof- you could hear anything/anyone through your door.

The only issue I had was sometimes plug points are faulty in rooms. Experienced on both visits.

Watch out for scammers at tourist attractions, saying the attraction is closed (like temples) and they recommend a tour on a tuk tuk- you end up at a "gems: ship and they try to con you into purchasing fakes.

Their location is extremely convenient, with a direct walking path to the sky train which you can use to get to just about anywhere worth seeing in Bangkok, it’s within 15-30 minutes of most popular areas.

On this segment of my trip I had just come from southern Thailand where it is more the land of hot and angry, rather than bothered, wondering where the land of smiles was.

Having stayed in Bangkok a few times before but as a solo travel I brought my wife on this trip so I did a little more research in places to stay.

Great location, easy to get into the centre for restaurants, bars and has its own walkway direct from the hotel to the BTS trainline which was really convenient.

Location is convenient to connect with the skytrain system and also to the river boats leaving from Sathorn which is only one stop away via Skytrain.

Brilliant position only 1 stop away from the river where you can then grab a boat and get to all the main places of interest.

Not our first time in Bangkok so a great location for all the sites and stuff we wanted to revisit.

And right next to the BTS Sky Train and not to far from Chinatown (yaowarat road) and Khao San road.

Perfectly located at Surasak station with covered walkway between the two giving easy access to the city and airport.

Even when, for my very limited breakfast choices, my vegan dietary demands were a bit difficult to please and I made an issue of an over-sugared chocolate children’s cereal not being even close to muesli or the soup bowl full of of soy milk being fit for a cat to lap up.

Excellent breakfast and lunch buffet at the Glass House Restaurant. Both breakfast and lunch offer unbelievable selection of Asian/western cuisine. Breakfast served up to 1130 on weekends and no shortages of food.

The breakfast buffet is the best I have ever had and that is saying a lot since I have been around the world!

The breakfast had such a large choice - my favourite had to be bread and butter pudding with vanilla custard.- for breakfast!! Fabulous!!

Which was 100% worth it, their spread for breakfast was amazing, quiet and peaceful, a great way to start each day.

Even the staff at breakfast remembered my dietary requirements and arranged this as we arrived!

And the breakfast buffet is top notch with many options high quality food and beverages.

The pool was really lovely, though perhaps a bit too small with the number of guests with seating.

The only thing to complain about is that the pool is a little bit cold.

And one of the coolest pools ever with an infinity edge overlooking the city.

It is a dated hotel and not very comfortable so cannot recommend for end of a vacation when you want to relax and make the most of hotel facilities.

Only downfall during stay would be the long wait time to get an elevator, not sure if two of the four was down

We had lounge access which meant we could enjoy a great range of complimentary food and alcoholic drinks between 17.00-19.00 each day.

It's just not as good as some other 5-star hotels when it comes to amenities, specially for the price.

Only 4 lifts for the entire giant building, in rush hours, you have to queue quite long.

We stayed only one of the three nights we had booked as preferred to stay elsewhere.

If I had to nitpick one thing, their elevators can be a bit frustrating

I only wish the hotel had info about this for 1st time tourists.

A huge plus was that the hotel had direct access to the metro so it was easy and good value to travel around the city.

One of the biggest highlights was the direct skywalk from the 3rd floor to the BTS station—made getting around the city incredibly convenient.

The train is connected to this hotel on the 3rd floor which was super convenient and cheap to move around.

The main road outside hotel has massive long jams , waiting for ride hailing and going to next destination.

There’s always a lot of traffic out front , so grab takes a long time.

Hotel to airport was 45 minutes via car (Grab car ride hailing service) midday.

Skytrain also connected to the hotel makes it easy to move around Bangkok.

The lounge also had a happy hour every night with more delicious food and complimentary drinks.

The food from both room service and the restaurants at the property were delicious.

In-room dining was decent, though I wish there were more late-night food options.

Good restaurant, however, it would be nice to have some local cuisine options.

If you don’t insert your room card and choose the floor within ~5 seconds, you’ll be taken to whoever has next queue’d the elevator before being able to get to your floor

At the checkout you can stay in the pool area, borrow some towels and also use the showers in the restroom so you are all freshened up for the departure.
