As a frequent traveller and Accor Diamond member who has stayed in hotels across the world over the past decade, I can honestly say that The Vie Hotel Bangkok has set a new benchmark for what true hospitality looks like.

I was also surprised by how dated the hotel appeared (I had thought it was a new property based on their, again, misleading photos but this is an older property but this property actually opened in 2008).

This hotel was amazing, the staff were all wonderful and really made your day, they went over and above in providing a personalized service whereby you felt like you were at home and you were important.

I was staying here for three weeks for work, but I would love to come with my wife and stay here for some shopping.

My friends and I even decided that the next time we go to Bangkok, we will be staying here again.

The property is stunningly beautiful, with spacious rooms, a professional and friendly staff, excellent food, and an unbeatable location.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Bangkok.

While this hotel is a nice place to stay it is missing the magic it once had.

After our first visit we considered it one of the best hotel experiences we ever had.

The hotel staff in general were all very nice and polite and were very helpful when it came to ordering food or getting shuttle service.

So kind and polite, very competent and I loved every time she knocked on my door to bring me biscuits and a flower.

It was looked after by golf who did an amazing job, what a lovely young lady nothing was too much trouble.

They’re the heart of the hotel—the bellboys and concierge team made us feel welcome and took care of every detail.

I’d like to shoutout for the duty manager “Pim” who provides the best customer service, super friendly and helpful.

Huge thanks to Pluem, Max, NB, Benz, and Same for their kindness and outstanding support throughout our stay.

Front desk staff needs more attention to detail as we had to ask for things several times.

Professional front desk and concierge, luxurious rooms, and impeccable service made for a truly memorable experience.

The staff at Piano Bar and the restaurant on the 11th floor were very good too.

As with elsewhere in the hotel, the service levels at the lounge were absolutely outstanding.

They helped me at all times with all my questions and the treatment was excellent.

I recommend this hotel and the nice people here that gave us top service!

In over 10 years of travelling the world, I have never — not once — experienced what the team at The Vie did for us: they helped me surprise my girlfriend with fresh flowers and our names printed on the pillow.

The concierge team - Benz, Boom and Lo have been very helpful and accommodating, assisting in all aspects of our stay and providing us with some great itinerary options for our first visit to Bangkok.

Starting by the service of the people at the door that came to us with towels and umbrellas because the taxi driver would refuse to leave as the door and it was pouring.

(4) Not forgetting the reception staff who will greet us when we return in late night and the chambermaid team for room 2412 who will arrange the items so neatly in our room.

Pluem was very nice and was helping us alot and was making us feel nice and warm so a big thank you to Pluem and all the hotel for a pleasing time.

The only negative was that the air-conditioning was either on or off, it seems, as the thermostat did not seem to have any effect, meaning that it had to be off at night - as to was quite noisy.

The rooms are quite dated (especially the bathrooms), weird setup of the toilet room with almost transparent walls (no privacy), poor WiFi, poor sound insulation of the entrance door (we could hear all sound coming from the corridor).

I booked the deluxe king room and thanks to my accor gold tier, Vie upgraded my room to a deluxe suite which has everything I need, from a welcome sweet amenity to amazingly great welcome drink.

Issues with AC control being unresponsive to input (fixed but recurred 3 days later) or the AC turning off on its own overnight and us waking up sweaty.

The most amazing part is the room, great lights and window view (can see the BTS green line pass by and SIAM department stores area)

Would have been perfect if room was properly set up for 3 persons as per booking and not upon request after checked in.

The hotel rooms could do with more international travel-friendly power socket or USB/C as is practised by some contemporary hotels/accommodation facilities.

We booked deluxe room with a king size bed and our is very spacious and possibly fit 2 king beds.

I specifically asked for a quiet room because I had important meetings there and wanted to be rested.

We had a double and there were two extra beds for our 9 & 11 year old.

I asked for a king size bed and got the two super single bed combined together.

Lots of lovely details in the room, including kids’ toiletries and hair accessories, thank you!

At least they should have brighter lights in the bathroom, specifically close to the mirror.

I personally love the hotel’s rooms that are green, warm, classic and elegant.

Shower cubicle did not leak but very bad & not comfy at all.

Mini-bar is outdated in 2025 and not a luxury, it’s the opposite.

The rooms, the restaurants, facilities are all very modern, clean and comfortable.

Our suite was amazing. Very spacious and with all the required amenities.

Finally, we stayed in a room with the happy hour privilege.

Location is great - right in front of the BTS station, and with high level shopping and dining 500 meters off to the left, and cheap 'n cheerful markets the same distance off to the right.

However, this meant that all the convenience stores were on the other side of the road and had to detour a bit to reach these stores for snacks and water.

The hotel’s location is excellent—just a 5-minute walk to Siam Discovery Mall, with the BTS station only about 50 meters away, making it incredibly convenient to get around Bangkok.

It’s literally steps from the BTS Ratchathewi station, making public transportation effortless, and within easy walking distance to the major shopping districts like Siam Paragon, CentralWorld, and MBK.

The hotel is well located with easy access to the Skytrain service to get around the city (the traffic is dreadful and taxis should be avoided if possible).

The hotel is not within walking distance of the main tourist sights but that means you get more for your money - a very well-appointed and comfortable place

We could hop on the Skytrain or stroll to world-class malls without ever needing a taxi — perfect for both shopping sprees and sightseeing.

Lovely big clean rooms away from the bustle & hustle of Bangkok streets but yet still accessible by the BTS station

Hotel is within walking distance to Siam Paragon, Siam Centre, the BTS and many massage parlours in the area.

We chose it for its close proximity to MBk mall, Siam Discovery, Siam central and Siam Paragon malls.

The BTS is just outside the building so it’s convenient to get to the biggest malls.

It’s really convenient for the airport train and close to a lot of great shopping.

The location of the hotel is quite close to where most of the malls

Close to a BTS station (Ratchatewi), only 1 stop away from BTS Siam.

The location is right in the center and easy to get railway.

Central location near the main shopping centres with fantastic facilities and services.

Easily walkable to public transit as well as the MBK mall.

Prime location, plenty of dining options very close to the vicinity.

Quite a happening place with the younger crowd until after 1am.

Location is also not bad, just next to the bts.

Location is right next to the MTR and super convenient.

Major malls, BTS and great food are within walking distance.

If using ARL, it will be a good choice.

The hotel location is just beside the BTS skytrain.

It is situated near walking distance to many malls.

The VIE Hotel is perfectly situated in centeral Bangkok.

Location was fine, 15 minutes to Siam Paragon.

Few seconds away from a BTS line.

Every single day brought a fresh, beautifully presented spread with an amazing variety of international and local dishes — from fluffy pancakes and fresh tropical fruits to perfectly cooked eggs, pastries, and Thai specialties.

The spread was superb and the food was really good coupled with the friendly service of the staff and the level of comfort we had, we always took our time having breakfast.

The breakfast was nice and the room it's in is amazing but we thought it was very expensive for what it was and compared to the other hotels we were in.

The selection for the breakfast buffet, as well as restaurant was very broad, giving us lots of delicious options to choose from during the long stay at VIE hotel.

Cooked to order omelette lacked taste, but the egg benedict was cooked to perfection, just the hollandaise sauce looked a weird texture and colour but tasted nice.

The other best sparking I love is '' Breakfast '' on high floor and super nice manager with a very friendly smile (always on his face :)

They had Thai options for food and American type of food also such as, eggs, pancakes, bacon, and the yogurt with fruit in it was so delicious.

Also, at 10:30 sharp (even a few minutes before) they just close all the food stations even when people are still sitting which is an unpleasant feeling..

We paid for breakfast for the entirety of our three day stay and never ended up having breakfast once apart from the morning we arrived.

It changed daily with new highlights, so it never got repetitive, and it set the perfect energized start to each day of exploring.

Unfortunately we did not have tome to take the breakfast as we had to leave very early for our flight back to France.

Breakfast was only average as the variety doesn't change much and some food were overcooked being constantly heated in the bain marie.

The selection of food and drinks are awesome (see pics attached) Please remember to try at one day when you stay here.

Especially the breakfast is beyond comparison and besides location the main reason why we will always choose VIE when in Bangkok!

Egg station also serves perfect egg benedicts with ham or salmon over crostinis, drizzled with hollandaise sauce and chives.

The breakfast offered a great variety of options and was a perfect way to start the day.

In the 5 days we were there, there not one day where the juice was nice.

The breakfast is without doubt the best offering I've seen at a hotel anywhere.

Even a simple stir fried kale has lots of other ingredients and garnishes.

Breakfast is also very good and it’s placed in the elegant restaurant.

The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of fresh, delicious options.

Breakfast spread was excellent with plenty of choice for personal drinks.

And oh the breakfast I still dream about it.

The pool is extremely cramped, poorly laid out, and feels like an afterthought, bearing little resemblance to how it is presented online.

From the rooftop pool with panoramic views to the overall sophisticated vibe, the VIE Hotel Bangkok delivered pure luxury and convenience.

On seeing the pool in person, it was immediately clear that it did not meet the expectations set by the marketing.

Awesome gym and pool again one of the best gyms if like us you enjoy working out on holiday still.

Access to a proper pool was important to me, and I had changed my booking based on these images.

We did not use the pool because we were limited on time but it was visible from our room.

The tiles are cracked and it’s hard to walk on (I know I should be swimming and not walking!).

The pool area, the gym and all facilities were good and it was a pleasure to be there.

Swimming and sipping cocktails at the pool in the middle of Bangkok was just the best …

The pool had too many people and it was quite small for such a big hotel.

They have a small pool and a gym and pool bar service was pleasant.

Some design is unique, but if you stay on you will realise their room, those door, shower open, those drawer everything is not convenient to open at all

The hotel offers everything you'd expect from a 5 star city centre hotel, spacious suites, a large gym and rooftop pool not to mention the excellent spa.

The hotel was undergoing refurbishment, with constrcution works being carried out on the same floor as my room, early weekend mornings etc... drilling, hammering sawing etc

There's an app that we used to book hotel's tuk tuk, ask for more bottles water, request hoisekeeping services, etc. which was convenient to use.

Terribly unstable water temperature - kids and myself got scalded a couple of times during our stay or was treated to freezing water intermittently.

Firstly it is on the ground floor (directly opposite the entrance) with zero views… which doesn’t really feel add an air of exclusivity.

The gym is well-equipped and genuinely impressive, and the pool offers a perfect urban escape right in the heart of Bangkok.

Air conditioning in the room is cool enough, however, the aircon in the restaurant and the lobby is quite warm =|

The Club lounge Bar at groundfloor with its snacks and drinks included in the Executive room is a highlight aswell.

When we booked the hotel months ago, there was supposed to be a free buggy provided by the hotel.

When we were there, they said they changed that and we were told that this is only on weekend.

The facilities were immaculate, including a sauna, a beautiful pool, and a fully equipped gym with fitness classes.

The only downside we found was the bathrooms we found were quite dated and need an uplift.

There were no numbers written on the telephone, so I didn't know the room service number.

Secondly the choice and quality of the food was very average (especially at this price point).

We have been using the facilities for nearly 15 years and they can’t be beaten.

The lobby is a master class of brilliant bakery, live piano and fresh flowers smell.

A wonderful stay with amazing facilities at the hotel say about rooms, pools, amenities etc...

Club lounge was the most vanilla club lounge I have experienced for a long time.

Lobby is very well furnished and gives you a very grand atmosphere when walking in.

The lounge bar provided a relaxing atmosphere with a good selection of drinks.

The live music ( pianist ) was great but a little too loud.

Considering the facilities and service, the price offers fantastic value for money.

Central location near the main shopping centres with fantastic facilities and services.

It is unclear why you only provide the service on weekend.

In particular, Nico and his wonderful team, Fah, Pete, and Ant, at the Piano Bar, as well as Das, the sommelier at Signature Restaurant, made our stay genuinely unforgettable.

I particularly liked Bobby's Ranch (I might have the name wrong), a dish with mixed beef and rice, which was flavorful and aromatic, leaving a lasting impression.

The food and drinks were outstanding, but what truly set these experiences apart was the extraordinary warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail shown by the staff.

We had access to the lounge which served canape and drinks from 3 to 5pm and the food changes daily and was delicious and freshly prepared.

We were traveling with young children and the hotel room service line insisted there was nothing child friendly nor would they even provide plain jasmine rice.

While the hotel itself was exceptional, some of our most memorable moments were spent at the Piano Bar and the Michelin-starred Signature Restaurant.

The Mitchilin start resturant is nonsense... it was the same all-day dinning menu from the reception bar... bar food menu (not fine dinning

Our food came out warm nearly cold, when we returned it to the kitchen to took forever to come back.

The food was great although we didn’t get to eat in the Signature restaurant as bookings were heavy.

We had a couple of drinks and a late night snack at the bar which were also good.

It was two of us dining, asked for water and were given a small bottle and one glass.

There's a mini bar located in the first floor, and lovely restaurant next to the hotel building.

I also had a fantastic time during the evening cocktail at the Piano Club Privileges.

The LaVie cafe also served some of the best coffee we've had in Thailand.

There are also some restaurants that look like they would be great to try.

The hotel's food was incredibly delicious, and dining in the room was very enjoyable.

Luxury Escapes package inclusions = lunch on the eleventh floor at the restaurant.

The excellent 'Signature Restaurant' which holds a Michelin Star under chef Thierry Drapeau.

Room service was very good: burger and fries delicious, quick delivery, reasonable price

Found it a little odd the fabulous restaurant in the hotel,closed at 20.00.

We ordered using Grab the rest of our stay to avoid similar struggles.

The drinks and food were excellent, and the atmosphere was just perfect.

The fitness club was very well equipped, with a wide variety of equipment such as kettlebells and half balance balls, which made it great for bodyweight workouts as well.

The one thing that kind of bothered me was that I could hear the gym class from my spa room.

The gym seemed really well maintained as well, though I didn't try that.

The access to the pool is through the gym, and a bit odd.

The fitness centre was very well equipped in comparison to many other hotels.

Pool is great and open 24 h as well as the gym.

They had the best gym I ever saw in a hotel.

Quite dissatisfied with the Gym as equipment is getting tired.

Before Covid-19, this was amongst my favourite hotel gyms.

I loved the fact that the property had a one way shuttle (tuk tuk) service to the following nearby malls (MBK, Siam Paragon, Central World, and Platinum Fashion Mall).

The last gripe is that the hotel runs a Tuk Tuk, which only runs 4 times a day and was fully booked any time we attempted to use it.

Can be difficult to get to by taxi or Tuk Tuk in heavy traffic, then again, this is Bangkok 🤔

We went by taxi as recommended and we did manage to use the train service to get back to hotel.

There was a schedule posted at the concierge table and you would simply have to book your ride beforehand.

It will be great if they use their own toktok every 30:00 minutes instead of every one hour.

Very easy access from BTS and tuk tuk service to main malls is a great add on.

Taxi ride offered by the hotel from Airport is almost 3 times expensive than the market rate.

Tuk tuk service provided by the hotel was fun and convenient for us to go shop.

Vie also provide free shuttle to major malls in the area which is a plus.

They didn’t let know they have a shuttle service to many things around the hotel

What truly made our trip seamless was the complimentary tuk tuk service from NB.

We booked Tuk Tuk service every day taking us to the nearby malls.

I tried their tuktuk service to nearby malls a couple of times.

We arrived very early so there was a lengthy 4-5hour wait for our room, as we had just arrived from Zurich and I had a very ill wife on my hands I was not impressed. However within 10 minutes they found a room.

At the end of the reservation (check-out), they asked us for an amount to use the phone, even though we didn't use it at all except to request a service from the hotel, meaning inside the hotel!!

I was informed, after escalation to the front desk manager, that no refund would be offered, not even a partial one, even though I had not stayed in the room or used any facilities.

Upon checking in, we were asked to download the Vie app from which we could access hotel information, room service, housekeeping (letting them know what time to clean your room), etc.

The person who checked us in was excellent. He was very thorough and efficient which made me think the hotel was top notch.

Pricing unfortunate: initially booked at a higher rate, then found cheaper on Booking; only benefited after a detour through cancellation and rebooking

Inquired about the last night (early check-out, no breakfast used) received no goodwill – first a false promise, then a complete rejection

The hotel has failed to refund the deposit taken at check-in and will notrespond to my queries.. This is theft

They upgraded our room free of charge and also allowed us a late check-out, which we really appreciated.

The check in staff kindly upgrade one of our room to Suite as perks of accor gold member.

If I was really picky I found check in very slow and quite unclear what was going on.

From check-in to check-out, everything was seamless, making it an excellent choice for a stay in Bangkok.

The hotel didn't quite compensate this trouble except for making an exception for a late check out.

I don't like the surprise deposit they require that varies every time I stay here.

I returned the room keys within approximately 10 minutes and raised this immediately.

Check in and check out was a breeze.

It wasn't just a treatment; it was a holistic experience where every detail, from the therapist skill to the aromatherapy oil, was carefully chosen to enhance my relaxation and well-being.

What made my visit to Vie spa so memorable was the seamless harmony between their high-quality products and their exceptional service.

You will need to walk a few mins to the overhead bridge to cross the road though.

I happened to try their spa as well and it was very nice and relaxing.

There is a massage area that is really affordable with great massage just opposite.

Had a 60mins massage inclusive in the package each and was relaxing.

Not only you feel relaxed, your skin will feel soft and moisture.

I liked the spa and the treatment I had was great.
